We all know what Threshold 19 was, it was the site where Kane and five thousand of his loyal followers entered a scrin portal and were never heard from again, but before that, an elite commando squad of six very close friends, were being sent to the tower to demo it before the Scrin could activate it. Instead of Scrin, they were met with Nod forces, and because their sonic weapons were useless against something not made of Tiberium-based substances, were swiftly captured and worked on.
