Rainbow Dash stopped in mid-flight as she heard this dreadful cry. In fact, all of Ponyville stopped as they heard it. It sounded like Princess Celestia, but what would an all-powerful princess being screaming at? Rainbow thought that nothing could scare the princess, It must be something REALLY scary, then. Dash thought. Clearing these thoughts out of her mind, Rainbow Dash continued her flying routine. If there was a contest for biggest show-off, Dash would win it by a long shot. The cyan mare raced above the town, letting by-standers marvel at her amazing stunts. Back flips, front flips, nose dives, whirl winds, Rainbow Dash could do them all. And not to mention her amazing speed. She flew so fast that she left a rainbow trail behind her. No wonder her ego was so big. As she flew farther away from the town center, Rainbow picked up speed. She rocketed towards Sweet Apple Acres and snagged a red delicious behind Applejack's back. Laughing, she flew to the nearest cloud and flopped down on it. Letting her breathing slow, Dash took a bite from the apple. Crispy, juicy and full of flavor. Just like all Sweet Apple Acres apples were. The cocky pegasus relaxed. She had been flying all day and it felt good to lay down finally. Perfect time for a cloud nap. she thought to herself. And, like many times, the mare fell asleep on that soft cloud . . . Rainbow Dash killed the evil villain with one last awesome blow. "You saved us!" cried the grateful towns people. "All in a day's work." Dash said nonchalantly. As the grateful and adoring ponies gathered to start thanking the awesome heroine, a figure stepped out of the shadows. "You haven't saved them yet!" The figure exclaimed, grinning evilly. "I'll kill you!" Rainbow said, pulling out her totally wicked sword-thingy and swinging at him. The figure ducked and pulled out his own sword-thingy and they started battling. The battle lasted longer than the heroine had expected, since the villain was actually a decent fighter. The figure laughed. "Face it, Rainbow Daring Dash! You'll never defeat me! Mwahahahaha!" Rainbow frowned and glared at him. "Oh yeah? Why is that?" The dark figure suddenly pulled off his hood, revealing that he was . . . Soarin the Wonderbolt! Soarin stood over her. "You'll never defeat me because . . .you love me!" And with that, he pulled her in for a kiss. "Ahhh!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, suddenly waking up from her dream. "Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh! That was the weirdest dream ever!" She looked around, expecting to see Soarin or the towns ponies, or the defeated villain, but all she saw was the familiar sight of Ponyville. "I really need to talk to somepony about this!" she said. Racing off to Sugarcube Corner, Dash was in such a hurry that, without noticing she crashed into somepony's flower cart. Roses, daises and other flowers flew everywhere, causing quite a scene for the mare. "Hey!" an angry pony yelled. "Watch were you're going!" But Rainbow couldn't hear here. Pain blurred her vision and she could barely move her wings. Little did Dash know that she had two new problems to face: a strange dream, and two broken wings. Author's Note Yay new chapter! I hope you're liking the story, because this is my first one. Uploads will be coming soon! :D Romantic AdviceRomantic Advice Princess Celestia slumped down in her seat as she rode to Ponyville. Luna, who was sitting next to her, had brought a camera and was taking pictures of her depressed sister. "Luna, for the fifty-sixth time, stop taking pictures of me!" Luna looked up from her camera. "But, sister you know it's for my scrapbook! I want to remember every second of your first bind date." The Night princess held up a bright pink scrapbook that was bedazzled with hearts and butterflies. The title read: Celestia's First Blind Date! and next to it was a picture of the princess in a sparkling red dress, and how Luna got that picture, Celestia didn't want to know. The sun princess just slumped further down in hear seat, watching her flying chariot get closer to Ponyville. When the princess had argued to Luna that she didn't have any dating experience, her sister insisted that they go to Ponyville to see if one of the Elements of Harmony could offer advice. Now, Celestia wished she hadn't said that. At least it's a nice day. Celestia thought to herself. And that was defiantly true. Sure, it was nice Canterlot, but as the chariot got closer to Ponyville, the scenery turned from nice to beautiful. In Canterlot, with all the houses and buildings, there weren't many open pastures, and large meadows. Out in Ponyville, there were tons of them. Meadows were dotted with colorful wildflowers, and the sweet fragrance of spring filled the air like cool breeze. The soft swaying of trees and flowers created a music of their own, and thanks to the pegasi, there wasn't a cloud in sight. Celestia was about to cheer up, when she felt the chariot stop and she realized that they were in front of Carousel Boutique. Luna quickly hopped off and gestured for the princess to follow her. The ride pulled away and Luna spoke. "I thought that we should come to Rarity first, since she's read so many romance novels." Celestia just nodded, and Luna knocked on the door. "Just a moment, please!" called out a pleasant voice from inside. In a moment, Rarity opened the door, revealing her elegant white coat, silky purple mane, and crystal blue eyes. "Princess!" she said, taking a slight bow. Luna snapped a picture of her. "HELLO LADY RARITY! WE ARE HERE BECAUSE MY SISTER, PRINCESS CELESTIA, NEEDS DATING ADVICE BECAUSE SHE HASN'T BEEN ON A DATE IN OVER THREE HUNDRED YEARS!" Luna yelled out in her royal Canterlot voice. She was so loud that all of Ponyville heard her, and Celestia wished that she could sink into the ground. "Oh my, I'm terribly sorry, but I'm very busy today. You can come back another time, though!" and with that, Rarity slammed the door in their faces. Luna smiled. "Well, that went well!" she said. Meanwhile, Celestia was trying to hide her face behind Luna's scrapbook. "Easy for you to say! Let's just find another pony." ~~~ "So what do you think I should do?" Celestia asked. She had finally found some one who wasn't busy, and could her advice. "By the way, thank you for all the help, I really appreciate it." Spike the dragon scratched his head. "Um, why are you asking me? I'm mean, I'm not a girl and Twilight says I'm too young to date anyway." Meanwhile, Luna was writing in her scrapbook. "Sister takes advice from infant dragon." she wrote, and then snapped a picture of Spike and the princess. "Luna, stop! This is serious!" But the night princess just kept gluing pictures into her scrapbook. Celestia cleared her throat. "Now, Spike, as I was saying what do you think I should do?" Luna snapped another picture and Spike rolled his eyes. This was going to be a LONG day. How to Deal with Broken WingsHow to deal with broken wings: Well, if you're Rainbow Dash, smash your head against a wall! Unfortunately, this is exactly what she did. Rainbow was incredibly mad at herself. "One week before the Wonderbolts come to town, and I break my wings! Just perfect!" she yelled to herself. "I can't believe how stupid I am! Now, I'll never be able to show them my moves!" Dash threw a pillow at the wall in her rage. Then, an interesting thought came to her mind. "Hey! Maybe I can get out of here in time for the Wonderbolts! Nurse! Nurse!" Quickly, almost too quickly, Nurse Redheart came into the room. "Yes?" she asked. "Nurse, would you mind seeing when I'm getting out of the hospital?" Nurse Redheart nodded, and flipped through her clipboard, with a pen in her mouth. "Well, Miss Rainbow Dash, its looks like you will be checking out . . . " RD held her breath in anticipation, " . . .in two weeks." Dash slammed her hoof against the nightstand. "Darn It!" she cursed, but the nurse wasn't listening. She was already hurrying out of the room, with her eyes glued to the clipboard. "Well, now what?" Rainbow asked herself. "I mean how can a completely awesome pegasus like me entertain herself for two weeks straight?" Dash slumped down in her hospital bed. ~~~ " . . . .and the nucleus is the most important part of the cell, because it-" "OH JUST STOP READING, PLEASE! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" Rainbow Dash yelled, with a pillow clenched to her ears. Twilight looked disappointed. "But this is my favorite science book! Oh well, I guess it'll have to wait." Dash let out a sigh of relief. Now the pain would be over with. Then, in a flash, Rainbow remembered her weird dream. She had been wanting to talk to somepony about it. "Um, Twilight, can I tell you something?" she asked tentatively. "Sure, Rainbow! You can tell me anything." The purple unicorn smiled. This is it, Dash! Now or never! "Um, actually, never mind! It can wait!" she said. Twilight looked confused, but nodded anyway. Then Rainbow Dash heard something outside of the door. It was a voice, a very familiar voice. One she had heard many times. She held her breath. Rainbow Dash knew that voice. "Um, Rainbow, are you okay?" Twilight asked. Then, somepony knocked on the door. "C-Come in!" Rainbow stammered. And she couldn't believe who was standing in front of her. Sisterly LoveCelestia stuffed her face into her pillow. At least her pillow didn't take pictures of her every five seconds, or set her up with a blind date, or insisted she were socks everyday. At least her pillow was soft and comforting, and didn't care if she cried after a long day. At least her pillow was always there on Celestia's bed, always there when she needed it the most. Sometimes Princess Celestia wished that ponies were more like pillows. The day had been long and tiring and aggravating as ever. The princess wished that she could just take a break for a while. No one had probably ever guessed, but she was just like everypony else, and needed a break sometimes. Every one in Equestria expected so much of her, and they never took into consideration that maybe, just maybe, the all-powerful Princess of the Sun was not perfect. And she wasn't. She knew she was being selfish, but the princess just couldn't help it. Everypony always thought that being a princess was the coolest thing ever, and that you could just have fun, and rule kingdom without any responsibility, and that other ponies would always respect you and bow to you. That's not what royalty is really like. There's tons of responsibility, and whenever something bad happens in the kingdom, you're the one to blame. You always have to fill out paperwork, meet with counsel members, and listen to your subjects' complaints. Worst of all, in public you're always treated like a god, with ponies bowing to you and thanking you. Whenever you just want to have fun with your subjects, they think you're being serious. Like if you tease them about their clothes, they would apologize and go change. You're never able to have just a fun, normal conversation with them. Celestia just couldn't take it anymore. She cried. She cried into her beloved pillow until she felt like she was out of tears. Being a princess was horrible. Then there was a soft knocking on her door. "Go a-away." Celestia sniffed. The door creaked open and Luna peered inside. "Sister, are you okay? I'm so sorry if I upset you." Celestia frowned. Not that it mattered, since her face was stuffed in a pillow. "Go away, Luna. You wouldn't understand what I'm going through, anyway." "Try me." So the princess told Luna everything. It felt good to get it out, and Luna carefully listened to everything thing her sister said. When she was finished, Luna spoke. "I totally get what you're going through. And how do you think I feel? Even after Nightmare Night, ponies still don't accept me! It's just a matter of getting used to. Life doesn't just do what we want it to. We just have to work hard, and do the right thing. Only that will make a pony really happy." Celestia wiped the tears from her eyes. "That was corny, but beautiful, Luna. Thank you." Luna nodded. "I have a surprise for you." she said excitedly. "What is it?" Celestia asked. A moment later, Luna returned with a beautiful silk dress. It was pearl pink with white lace around the edges, and when Celestia put it on, it fit her perfectly. "Oh, thank you so much, Luna! This was really thoughtful of you." Then she heard a small click and turned around. Luna smiled sheepishly with a camera in her hooves. "I just couldn't resist." Celestia laughed and hugged her sister. Luna smiled and hugged her back. "I'll be back here in the morning. I have another surprise for you." With that, Luna left Celestia alone in her room. ~~~ Celestia woke up bright lights in her face. About a dozen ponies in white robes were leaning over her with hairbrushes, make-up, and stylish accessories in their hooves. Luna stood in the middle of them. "ALRIGHT, PONIES! I NEED MAKE-UP, STAT!" Celestia groaned. If this was Luna's idea of a surprise, she was going to need her pillow now more than ever. Author's Note Luna is so hilarious sometimes :P Surprise!Rainbow Dash sat on her hospital bed, her jaw almost touching the ground. He was right in front of her! The stallion who Dash had been crushing on since she was a filly. Soarin! The pegasus was excited yet nervous, with a million thoughts racing through her mind. He looks so adorable! Keep it cool, Dash. Act natural. He's just another pony . . .but a totally handsome pony! Ahh! Stop thinking that, Dash! Why do I suddenly have a craving for bananas? Wait, bananas? "Ahem." Soarin cleared his throat. Rainbow cleared her mind and focused on the Wonderbolt in front of her. Twilight stood up, walking towards the door. "Well, Rainbow Dash it looks like you don't need me anymore. I'll just get going and, uh, leave you too alone." And the purple unicorn exited the room. "So . . ." RD said, trying to act natural, even though the situation was awkward. Soarin grinned. "I guess you're wondering why there's a Wonderbolt in your room?" he asked. Rainbow managed a smile. "Yeah, pretty much." Soarin cleared his throat again. "Well, I've been a fan of your flying ever since you did that sonic rainboom. I like watching you compete in competitions and stuff, and I think you're pretty cool." Rainbow could barely contain her excitement. Soarin was a fan of her flying? How much better could this day get? Apparently, a whole lot better. Soarin opened his mouth to say something, but then blushed. "What were you going to say?" Rainbow asked excitedly. He ran his hooves through his shaggy dark mane. Rainbow always thought this was cute. Soarin's hair was messy, but it made him look good. And he had the most beautiful emerald eyes. . .Snap out of it, Dash! she told herself. "I was, uh, going to um . . ." Soarin seemed to stutter. His pupils had shrunk and he looked like he was .... no he couldn't have been! But Dash saw as clear as day that the Wonderbolt was sweating just a bit. "You know . . . it can wait! I mean, you probably have a lot of rest to catch up on. I just wanted to stop by and say hi!" And with a nervous laugh Soarin left. And Rainbow Dash thought that he was about to ask her out. *** "So did you ask her out yet?" Silver Lining, a senior Wonderbolt asked. Soarin took another sip of his coffee. He was in Wonderbolt HQ relaxing after a rigorous training. The white stallion had always loved Cloudsdale. He had grown up and lived there, and he thought that the cloud city was magnificent. On this particular morning, the sun beamed down on HQ, illuminating the marble hallways and pillars. Silver Lining waited patiently for an answer. Soarin sighed. "No." he said. "I got nervous. I guess I'm just not ready yet." Silver snorted. "Please! You've liked that Rainbow Dash for more than a year now! You're way more than ready." Soarin just looked down into his coffee. "Maybe I'll try again tomorrow." Silver Lining got up to get himself a mug. "You better!" He said. As Silver poured his coffee, Soarin thought about how he was ever going to get a mare like Rainbow Dash to like him. How could he get that cute, pretty, funny, brave, loyal, and recently injured mare to like him? Wait . . .recently injured . . .yes! That was it! Soarin knew how to get Rainbow Dash! She would be all over him! "So what are you going to do?" Silver asked. Soarin grinned. "I'm going to help her!" Dates & Destruction (Part I)It was a beautiful spring day in Equestria. Probably the most beautiful of the season. Warm sunlight spread over the dazzling city of Canterlot, causing ponies to smile greatly. Joy spread across the city faster than Rainbow Dash, and that was saying something. Up High in her castle, Princess Celestia sipped her tea. She, as most other ponies, was enjoying the gorgeous morning. The princess had decided that, instead of doing tons of paper work as usual, she would take a day off to relax. After all, what better day to relax than this one? With flowers blooming, birds singing, and her sun shining, Celestia felt happy and safe on that spring day. Boy, was she wrong. After taking another sip of her tea, the princess heard a violent knocking on her door. "Come in!" she called out, guessing this was one of her guards. Bursting through the door, Captain Shining Armor entered the room, his eyes wide with fear. Celestia regarded him with a curious gaze. "Shining Armor, why do you look so worried?" she asked. "You should be relaxing, like me. This is a day we ponies should take a break from all the stress." "How can you be relaxing at a time like this?!" he exclaimed, glancing left and right. He then leaned over to Celestia and whispered, "Luna has finally done it." The princess spit out her tea in shock. "N-no!" she stammered, unable to understand what was going on. "She couldn't have! I thought I had more time! What do I-" "Oh, sister!" Luna yelled outside of the room. "I have a surprise for you!" Her voice was getting closer, as if she was coming up the stairs. "No, not today! EVACUATE THE CASTLE!" Shining Armor quickly jumped out of the window, breaking the glass. Celestia was about to follow him when the door swung open, and Luna ran in, cornering her. "Luna, please!" The princess pleaded. "You can't do this to me!" Luna held up a knife in one hoof. "I'm sorry, sister, but I've given you enough time. Now I have to do this myself." Tears were streaming down Celestia's face. "No!" But it was too late. Luna raised the knife and . . . cut open an envelope! "According to this letter, Mr. and Mrs. Cake have allowed me to use Sugercube Corner for . . ." Celestia held her breath in anticipation, " . . . your BLIND DATE!" NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Author's Note So yeah this was my first chapter of my first story! :D I know it was short, but there's a part II so that'll be coming out soon. Hope you liked it! /)(\ -Dream Shine Preparation"Luna, I'm telling, you, I can't do this!" Princess Celestia stood in front of her sister, almost suffocating in her first date dress, which had looked bigger than it really was. "Beauty hurts, sister." Luna replied, eyeing her older sibling from head to toe. "But I look totally ridiculous!" Celestia whined. Luna rolled her eyes. "You look beautiful. Now shut up." "But-" Luna clapped her hooves and two ponies came by, handing her some flash cards. "Luna, what are those for?" The alicorn asked almost fearfully. "These are what you're going to use to practice your lines." Celesta's eyes widened. "My lines? I have lines?" The Night princess again rolled her eyes. "No, not necessarily. This is just to practice you, um, conversation skills." Celestia tugged at her dress. "Whatever, can we please just get this over with?" Luna flipped over a flash card. "Okay, now, let's say that the stallion your dating is a fan of jelly. A VERY big fan. How would you start a conversation with this stallion?" Celestia stared at her sister. "Luna this is stupid. There are no stallions in Equestria that are extremely obsessed with tubs of jelly!" "You'd be very surprised, sister." Luna replied. "Now how would you start this conversation?" Celestia thought for a moment. "Um... How do you feel about peanut-butter?" Luna face-hoofed. "Let's try another one. Now, the stallion your dating is in love with a beautiful, intelligent, and charming night princess. How would you start a conversation with him?" Now, Celestia face-hoofed. "Luna why would I be dating some one who's in love with my sister?" Luna cleared her throat. "Hehe, Moving on!" ~~~ Celestia ran through the "training maze" Luna had prepared for her. She breathed heavily, and sweat was starting to form on her face. Luna was being crazy about this date training. Celestia rounded a corner and suddenly a cardboard cut-out popped up in front of her. It had a picture of a stallion swimming in jelly. "WHAT DO YOU SAY?!" Celestia heard Luna yell from above her. "Um.....What's your favorite type of jelly?" she said. "GOOD!" Luna yelled. The sun princess ran on. Luna watched her sister from above, taking pictures of the training maze and Celestia. She scribbled down in her scrapbook, Sister runs through training maze, not knowing that it has no ending. Luna smiled and looked down on her maze, which had an entrance, but no exit. "Ah, I love a good 'prank' as they say." The night princess said, giggling.

Author's Note Luna is so hilarious sometimes :P
Surprise!Rainbow Dash sat on her hospital bed, her jaw almost touching the ground. "I'm going to help her!"
Dates & Destruction (Part I)It was a beautiful spring day in Equestria. /)(\ -Dream Shine
Preparation"Luna, I'm telling, you, I can't do this!" Princess Celestia stood in front of her sister, almost suffocating in her first date dress, which had looked bigger than it really was.
