They say that the best way to conquer a fear is to face it. For Lieutenant Gunner, that is probably the worst way. After losing his fore hoof on what was suppose to be routine recon, he finds himself on another supposedly simple mission. A transport in one of the outer systems has lost all contact with the rest of it's fleet. Being on the safe side, a squad of soldiers is sent as a security detail on a repair mission. The team is experienced, but only one could be truly prepared for what was to be encountered on that vessel.
