A Lustful Night

One lonely night, a young female pegasus called Melody, was getting ready for a very long trip. She was heading to Ponyville and was leaving behind her family. Melody had just gotten her cutie mark. The mark was a pair of headphones with a bass clef in between the ear parts. She had a black pelt behind her cutie mark and was a pale blueish white color. Melody's mother came over to her and helped put the saddle bags around Melody. "Melody, please be careful, this is a long trip your doing and you weren't that good of a flier." Melody looked at her mother with a smile and stood tall. "Don't worry Mom, Ill be fine. I'm better at flying now." Her mother nodded and nuzzled Melody's neck softly. "Alright, send a letter to us once your there please." Melody nodded and looked at her father before taking off for her journey.

Melody was flying for a while and when she needed to rest, stopped on the clouds to take a small nap then head on back out flying. She was flying for close to two weeks and finally made it to Bearingham in Ursland. She rested and saw very few ponies but was mainly going to restock with water and food. Greatful it was daytime, the Ursa's were asleep and she was able to go about and get everything for her trip. She went and refilled her 3 water canteens, grabbed around 3 week rations of food and thanked the ponies who helped her. She went on and took off flying toward Hoovegorod, just northwest of Appleoosa. Taking around two days to get to Hoovegorod but she feel asleep on a cloud and was scared off her cloud when a pegasus living there kicked her cloud.

Melody fell and almost hit the ground when the pegasus caught her. "Oh I'm sorry about that. I--" Melody moved and moved one of her back hooves and bucked him off and she opened her wings as she landed and opened her eyes yawning. "Do you know it is not nice.. to wake up somebody by kicking the cloud from underneath them?" She yawned and used her wings to rub her eyes. Sitting down on the ground she looked around and blinked. "Oh.. I'm still in Hoovegorod.." The male pegasus looked away. "I am so sorry. I didn't see you there." Melody blinked and just nodded. "To get to Appleoosa do i head southeast?" The male nodded and pointed in the direction. "Thank you." She trotted off giving her wings a rest until she saw she had to cross some water.

It took a while for Melody to get to Appleoosa, but she moved quickly due to being in the desert. Being able to do both run and fly, she made it within nine days. Melody was happy to finally be in Equestrian land. She glanced around and smiled as she waved to everypony and went on searching for the train. After a few minuets, Melody found the place where the train pulled up to and she got herself a train ticket to Ponyville. One pony walked up to melody with an apple pie and smiled. "So sweetie, where are you from?" Melody looked down and smiled. "Im from Aurora back in Old the old land." The female pony was shocked. "You came all the way here all by yourself?" Melody nodded her head yes and smiled again and took a drink from her canteen of water.

Over in Ponyville Some friends were hanging out. There was two stallions and Princess Luna was there as well. Luna smiled as she was laughing with Sunburst, a orange pegasus with a weird looking cutie mark that was suppose to be a solar flare. Then there was Kalas, the shy Unicorn who smiled when Luna talked with him. Luna had herd of the female pegasus traveling from Aurora and was going to move here to Ponyville. She was hoping to make a new friend as well.

Back in Appleoosa, Melody was sketching the scenery in front of her. She was mainly doing this to show her family where she has been and to tell them what it was like. She missed her mother and looked down as the Female earth pony nuzzles Melody on the neck. "Eat a slice sweetie, you need it."

It was later on that day when the train came into the station letting some ponies to get off and having others come onto the train. Melody got on and the train ride would be a long one. It got really dark quickly and Melody fell asleep on the train. She moved around in her sleep, however was having a nightmare. Inside Melody's nightmare, Melody was flying through a storm and was dark. She couldn't see or anything and was either going to crash or get struck by 3 bolts of lightning. Before anything Melody woke up and was breathing hard, but it was one 2 am. She looked worried and was crying a lot more. The train made it to Ponyville and she was really tired when she got off the train. Unaware of everything around her she took to the air and found a nice soft pillow and fell asleep again.

Luna, Sunburst and Kalas trotted and noticed the train had come on. Sunburst looked around and saw a cyan tail above them on a cloud and flew up to see what was there. He blinked and noticed Melody was asleep and looked over to Luna. "Hey Luna, We got a new pony in town." He smiled and landed near his friends and looked to Kalas. "You alright?" Kalas was a quiet one and just nodded yes and Luna looked up to the cloud and smiled. "We will see her in town later. Let her rest up." The stallions nodded and they trotted off back toward the home Kalas had near the library.
