Silver Shimmer, a bright young mind, is to study at an institute for gifted unicorns, but soon finds that the city in which she is sent is far more unforgiving then she could have ever imagined. With assistance from her friends, shady and honorable, she must find a way to survive the cutthroat city and the strange happenings that plague the Steampunk city of Renaissance.
