A few months after Sonic returned home from Equestria. Sonic was asleep on the roof of Tails's Workshop, now that Eggman was gone, there wasn't much for him to do, apart from the fights he had with Shadow, the Ex Gear races between him and Jet when they saw each other and stoping Rouge from and this how she puts it taking back 'her' Master Emerald. Sonic was woken up by his two tailed friend Tails calling him "HEY SONIC WAKE UP." Sonic jumped off the roof he was on and did a few tricks in the air before he landed in frount of Tails, Sonic then asked Tails "What's up little bud?" "You remember, I said I fixed the device that Eggman made, so he could go to Equestria?" Tails asked Sonic. "Yeah, I remember, wait you haven't, you have, haven't you?" Sonic asked Tails. Tails said to Sonic as he passed some kind of wrist watch to Sonic "Yes, I was able to make a smaller version of it, in the form of a wrist watch, have a look." "Cool, so how'd it work?" Sonic asked Tails. Tails said to Sonic as Sonic put the device the right of his right arm "Well, it opens a portal between out world and Equestria, it's really easy because their's only one button." Sonic then ran off and came back in a record time with his EX Gear board called Blue Star and the light blue Chaos Emerald. Sonic then said to Tails "See you there later buddy." "Will do, tell everyone I said hi." Tails said to Sonic. Sonic then pressed the button on the device that Tails had made and a portal opend up behind Sonic, before Sonic went through he turned to Tails and asked him with a sly grin "You mean everpony?" "You know what, I mean." Tails said to Sonic. Sonic then went through the portal and came out fo the otherside not far from Ponyville, before Sonic could move, he saw a moving rainbow in the day time sky, Sonic said to him self "Still making rainbow, like you always do R.D." Sonic then put his EX Gear board on the ground and got on it, Sonic said to him self in his mind "I hope this thing, can keep up with her." As Sonic got closer to the moving rainbow came to a stop in the air. Sonic went closer and was also most knock of his Blue Star as his friend and lover Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash asked Sonic "Sonic, is it really you?" "The one and only!." Sonic said back to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash then hugged Sonic, clearly not noticing that Sonic was floting in the air on a piece of metle, Sonic put his arms around Rainbow Dash and said to her "I see you've missed me a lot." Rainbow Dash stoped hugging Sonic and noticed what Sonic was standing on. She asked Sonic "Sonic? What is that thing, your standing?" "Oh this, this is my EX Gear board, I called it Blue Star." Sonic said to Rainbow Dash. "Let me guess, Tails made it, but why would you need a floting piece of metal?" Rainbow Dash asked Sonic. "I'll tell you on the ground." Sonic said as he leaned fowared and dived at the ground, Sonic leaned back at the last second to avoid hiting the ground, Rainbow Dash followed him, she a bit of trouble landing as she was used to four leg instead of two. Sonic held Blue Star under his right arm as they started to walk to Ponyville. Sonic started to tell Rainbow Dash why Tails made his EX Gear board, and all about Jet, Wave and Storm. After Sonic had finished telling Rainbow Dash about why he had an hovering piece of metal Rainbow Dash said to Sonic "You know, I've always wonder, if you just ran everywhere." "Well, now you have your answer." Sonic said to Rainbow Dash. "I just hope, you're up for a partly." Rainbow Dash said to Sonic. "Well Pinkie Pie loves throwing partlys." Sonic said to Rainbow Dash. "You've got that right." Rainbow Dash said back to Sonic. As they went into Ponyville, Sonic saw that they had been a lot of changes to the bulidings, but apart from that the town was pretty much the same. All of the ponys started to form a group around Sonic and Rainbow Dash, but then they haven't see Sonic for months. There was a lot of talk among the ponys, Sonic could hear a little bit of what they was saying here and there such as "Isn't the Sonic, the one who saved Ponyville a few months ago." or things like "Sonic's back, last I heard he went back to his own world." Sonic still remembered when Twilight was living and he used Chaos Control, to warp him and Rainbow Dash to Twilight's house and away from the massive group of pony. They appeared in frount of Twilight scaring her, causing Rainbow Dash start to laughing as Sonic said to Twilight "Long time, no see Twilight." Twilight asked Sonic over Rainbow Dash's laughing "Sonic? How'd you get back to Equestria?" Sonic said to Twilight as he showed her the wrist watch that Tails made "Tails was able to make, a smaller version of the device Eggman used to come here." "Just wait till Pinkie Pie, finds out your back." Twilight said to Sonic. Rainbow Dash then stop laughing and said to Twilight "Yeah, I think she already knows, Sonic's back." "So that's what all the noise, outside was." Twilight said to Rainbow Dash. Sonic then asked Twilight and Rainbow Dash while he could "So how's life for been for you two now, that you walking on two legs?" Twilight replied with "It was hard at first, but we all soon got used to our new bodys." Rainbow Dash then said to Sonic "But for some reason, what ever those Chaos Emeralds did to us, didn't happen to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna." "Beats me, oh and Tails told me he said hi." Sonic said to Twilight and Rainbow Dash. "Where is Tails any way? I throught he would of come with you." Twilight said to Sonic. "Nah, Tails has a few things, he needs to finish, he'll be here later." Sonic said back to Twilight. Rainbow Dash then said to Sonic "I bet if you open the door, all you hear is Pinkie Pie shoulting in frount of you surprise." "Then I'm not opening the door, cause I know your right." Sonic said to Rainbow Dash. Twilight then said to Sonic "It's nice to see you again Sonic, but shouldn't be the other way around this time?" "What, you mean like, some of you end up in my world?" Sonic asked Twilight. "It just seems old, that it didn't happen like that." Twilight said to Sonic. "Things don't alwasy work out, the way you've read them." Sonic said to Twilight. "I guess not." Twilight said to Sonic. Then the door of Twilight's home swung open and all that could heard was Pinkie Pie shoulting "SURPISE."
