After a spell by Twilight Sparkle goes awry, Rainbow Dash is thrown approximately 5,000 years into the future. During this time period, Humans had invaded Equestria as a all-out war between Ponykind and Humans had erupted. Princess Celestia and Luna had died of a mysterious disease. The cause of this disease is unknown and ponies of the future had developed new technology in an attempt to find a cure for the disease. However, the ponies had ended up creating a chemical that expanded their age far beyond normal ponies, making Twilight Sparkle, the new Princess, the first test subject. Taking up the mantle of Ruler of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle hopes to restore the once peace filled land to it's former glory. Fluttershy becomes a lonely hermit, going into hiding and away from the war and Pinkie Pie becomes violent and goes insane due to the violence and bloodshed. A lone Human named Hawk Blackfield had disbanded from the Human faction, joining the ponies and creating a rogue group of refugees known as "Princess Twilight's Enforcers." Hawk recruits a young adult Applebloom, young adult Scootaloo, a pony named Firelight, a robot version of Sweetie Belle, as well as Doctor Whooves and Derpy as the Doctor and Derpy had been trapped in the time period due to the TARDIS malfunctioning. Rainbow Dash joins these band of heroes as she tries to find a way back to her own time, and ultimately fulfill her destiny…….

CHAPTER 1: It begins......

---EQUESTRIA, PONYVILLE, PRESENT DAY---

The sunny warm day came to life as it heated the land of Equestria. The town of Ponyville was bustling with ponies of all shapes and sizes. One particular purple unicorn sat in her Tree-like library as she was preforming a spell. Beside her sat one of her friends, a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane.

"You're sure this is gonna work Twi'?" The Pegasus asked.

"I'm positive Rainbow Dash, I didn't call you here for nothing, I wanted to get you as a test subject for this spell I'm trying to perfect, it's a very rare one I found in one of my books." The unicorn, Twilight Sparkle replied with a smile. She flipped through the pages of her book, "Now....let's see here, aha!!" She had found the spell she was looking for, "Here it is, a Time Travel Spell, but this one isn't like the one's I found in the Starswirl the Bearded wing in Canterlot, this one's more complex."

Rainbow Dash grew impatient, "Yeah, yeah, come on already, let's hurry this up! I'm missing out on practicing for the Wonderbolts!"

"Alright....here we go!" said Twilight. Twilight focused as her horn began to glow a purple color.

An energy surrounded Rainbow Dash as Twilight began to strain under the pressure of the spell. Sweat poured down Twilight's face as her horn glowed brighter and brighter.

"Gugghh....." Twilight grunted. Suddenly she let out a yelp as the spell exploded and in Rainbow Dashes place was a smoking burn on the floor of the Library. "Rainbow Dash?!" Twilight gasped. She then gave a frightened look, "Oh no....what have I done?!!"

----EQUESTRIA, PONYVILLE, 5,000 A.C.----

The ruins of Ponyville held what was once a lively and peaceful town. Buildings and several other parts of the town lay in destroyed rubble. Gray clouds had blanketed the skies as rainfall fell down on the desolate land. Hawk Blackfield stood leaning against a wall, his hair wild and spiked with a green color. His sharp red eyes were kept in a scowl and he gave off a sharp grunt of pain as he felt warm blood seep slowly from his arm. His mouth carried dried blood as well as he gripped his handgun tightly, so tight that he felt his hands begin to bleed.

"Dammit!!!" He spat, "Where the hell is Applebloom with those supplies?!" His voice was gruff and dark and he had a demeanor of a man who had seen the hells of combat. Hawk had left the Human army after his wife had been killed by his former friend and co-commander of the Human Army, Kane. Kane had since then become the new leader of the Human army. Hawk had despised Kane ever since that day and he had mourned the loss of his beloved. Snapping his thoughts back to reality, Hawk looked over the damaged wall he was hiding behind. A group of men clad in black armor with masks stalked toward Hawk's area armed with assault rifle machine guns. Hawk gritted his teeth. He hoped Applebloom would arrive soon.

As if on que, Applebloom had ran up to him, carrying a saddlebag full of medical supplies and spare ammunition, "Ah came as fast as Ah could," She said in her usual Apple family southern accent, "This was all Ah could get from the Hideout!" Applebloom was in her mid-20's. She had taken the cure for the disease which had slowed her aging process, making her remain young. She wore her deceased sister Applejack's trademark stetson on her head and her red mane was longer. Applebloom's Cutie Mark was that of a blooming Apple.

Hawk gave a slight smile, "Good job! Now, hand me that medpack quick and let's get the hell out of here!!" He took the medical pack from Applebloom as he pulled out a bandage and wrapped it around his arm, stopping the blood from leaking out. Suddenly, the two had been fired upon as the men hunting down Hawk shot at the cover where the man and pony were hiding.

"Shit!!!" Hawk cursed.

"Don't worry! Ah got ya covered Hawk!!" Applebloom said. Applebloom grabbed a shotgun from her saddlebag as she dove out of the cover and opened fire, using her hooves to hold the weapon. The men went down one by one as blood sprayed everywhere.

Hawk was stunned, "She's gotten better at using a firearm and has progressed much quicker in combat training than even Scootaloo!" He thought.

Applebloom strapped the shotgun to her back as she looked back at Hawk with a grin, "That's how we do it back on th' farm!!"

Hawk gave a chuckle, "Nice work kid! Let's head back to the hideout."

Applebloom gave a serious look, "Ah told ya'll before, Ah ain't no kid! Ah'm almost a full-grown pony!"

"Whatever, come on!" Hawk scoffed. He then walked off, his tattered red cape flowing behind him. Applebloom followed as she then looked up at the sky, the clouds began to clear.

A glistening tear rolled down her cheek, "Twailahght....Ah sure hope ya'll can fix this....." Applebloom had a feeling that the new Princess and Ruler, Twilight Sparkle would bring peace and restoration to Equestria. That thought had filled Applebloom's heart with hope. A hope that she knew would spark the dawn of a new age. With her spirits lifted, Applebloom trotted back to Hawk, back to the Hideout.

The cold air chilled the land as the sound of evil giggling laughter could be heard. A dark shape emerged from the shadows as a Pink mare with a flat dark pink mane and crazed blue eyes licked her lips, "Hehehe!! I'm going to have so much fun, and all my friends are invited....."
