I walked with a skip in my step, the plastic bag in my right hand jumping in response. I skipped around the corner and scanned the surroundings. My eyes soon found a small crack inbetween two buildings, those of which I walked into. "Oh, your back from the store!" A familiar voice said. I giggled in response and turned my head to meet my sister Amy.

"Yes I'm back," I reply, "and I got the stuff you wanted, all except for a few snacks, we once again didnt have enough money." I said the last part gloomily, it was just getting harder and harder to get some money these days.

"That's alright Alex," Amy says, "I did some quick dumpster diving and guess what I found."

"What?"

"Half a bag of cheese-its!" My eyes widened, we had almost never gotten something that good! She must have saw my response, because she pulled something out from behind her back. I had never hugged my sister so hard before. When I let go she had already taken a step to the back of the alley. She bent down and picked up two things. When she walked back I saw it was her old shoes. They where torn and battered, but they where all we had. Bringing my arm up to my forehead I looked at the sky.

"It around noon, Amy, there's going to be a little storm this afternoon, I'm pretty sure." I say, scanning the skies for anymore info.

"I'll always wonder how you do that," Amy states. I always had a sense of weather, it was kinda weird. My twin sister Katie sometimes calls me featherbrain, I guess cause I've always got my head in the clouds. "So, about how big is the storm." My sister says, knocking me out of my thoughts.

"Eh," I reply, "it won't be too severe, only able to do a little damage. it should last until around, I dunno, eleven, maybe twelve o'clock." Amy nods in understand.

"Oh, and I have another surprise for you," Amy cheeryfully says, causing me to look her way in confusion. "You know that little project we've been working on recently." I nod my head, we where building a house, we where eager to get out of this alley. "Matt finished it today!" She practically screamed. I nearly jumped out of my skin, that was the best news I had ever heard, ever!  We had been living in this alley for about 8 years. We've spent the last six years building a small house. It was out in the forest. It was in a pretty good spot. Close enough so we could go to the store, and far enough we problably wouldn't be found.

"What! Really!" I asked, making sure she wasn't playing a prank. That was a hobby of hers. But the shaking if her head proved it wasnt.

"Matt and Katie started walking over while you where at the store. They should be arriving around now." She says enthusiastically.

"We'll what are we waiting for?" I ask.

"For you to put on your shoes!" She says back. I laugh at that while jogging to the end of te alley. I bent down and scooped up my worn shoes, then slipping them on. When I turn around, Amy is already gone. Laughing to myself I run after her. When I run out of the alley I catch a glimpse of my sister rounding the corner. Picking up my speed I'm right on her tail. With each step I take, the more energy is used up. My breathing soon turnes into pants as I am now neck and neck with her.

"Happy birthday Amy!" I shout as I pass her. I turn my head to see her catching up, and a smile printed across her face. When my neck turnes my head forward again i turn the corner again, narrowly avoiding a patch of grass.i turn my head again to see my sister about to turn, but then something happened. She took a step and a small jump, before her eyes seemed to dull. The time she flew went in slow motion as she approached the grass.

"Amy!" I cry out as she crashes hard onto the grass, snapping out of her trance. Wasting no time I run over to my injured sister. She began mumbling something, I couldn't make it out until I got closer.

"Five score, memories removed." She uttered, not seeming completely out of her trance like state.

"Amy!" I shout out once more, but she didnt seem to hear me. I skidded to a stop at her shoulder. She seemed to be staring at her hands, as if they were foreign. I touched my hand to her shoulder, causing her to whip around.

"Discord!" She shrieked. I took a step back, unsure of what she just said. "Get away from me you monster!" She hissed. Tears where welling up in her eyes and streaming down her dirty face. She looks at me, her eyes full of hate. "I said get away!" She cried, this time powering more on sadness, then on anger.

"Amy it's me!" I say, unsure of what was happening. The look on her face didn't change. "It's me! Your sister! Alex!" I cry. "Snap out of it!" Tears where now populating my face as she seemed to limp for a moment. When she sat up straight again, she shook her head.

"A-Alex, what just happened. I-I saw something, a-and it allied itself discord, and, I-it..." She burst into tears. I immediately rushed over to my sister, who gladly sat limp against my shoulder. "Cherry, I can remember before, why are we in the middle of a patch of grass." She whispers. I didn't catch the slip and answered the question.

"We where going to the house, remember."

"No..." I look her way with worry. She didnt seem like herself, Amy could fall of a two story building and not have any serious injury. I take her hand and help her up.

"Well that's what we where doing." I state calmly. I take a few steps and she follows, seeming very shaky. I sigh deeply to myself and pull on to our goal. When we get there Amy can lay down on that rusty old mattress, we can all have some cheese-it's. I have a feeling everything's going to be just fine, yeah. everythings going to be just fine

By the time the new house came into sight, my and Amy where begging for rest. Her because she was tired and felt more lazy, I dunno why. Me because I've been practically carrying her this whole time! And she kept scratching her thighs and denying every question I asked her about it. She seemed dazed almost the entire time we where walking, little conversation was had as we made our way to the house. As we finally pulled on the last bush, we saw the wooden structure. But only a glimpse as a red mass toppled both of us down to the ground.

"Yay! Your here!" it shouts, embracing me and amy in a tight hug. I squirm around, trying to escape, but it was no use. I didn't think to say anything, as I was exhausted from our trek, amy had other ideas.

"Ack! Katie! Get off." she screams, pushing her younger sister off, who giggled and took a step back.

"How was your walk?" she asks pulling us to our feet.

"Horrible!'' I say, struggling to forget the way Amy acted when I touched her. She spoke with hate, like she meant every word she said.

"What! Why?" Katie asks, bringing me back to reality.

"Amy tripped and fell in a patch of grass, I had to practically carry her the whole way!" I say, leaving out certain parts.

"Oh, man! Amy are you okay!" She nodded her head and smiled, before her hand reached down and scratched her thigh. "Why are you scratching your leg?" Katie asks. Amy seems surprised, she looked down at her leg.

"Hm, I guess something bit me, I'll check it out." She walked over to a nearby bush and hopped behind. She poked her head out the top. "Don't look!" Her head disappeared and I could hear some shuffling sounds. I looked back to Katie, who was stifling a few laughs. I soon realized I was doing the same thing. My rhoughts where interrupted as a chuckle was soon heard from behind the bush. We both turned our heads to see amy coming out of the bush, clapping her hands slowly. "Wow guys," she began, "you got me good, hahaha."  A confused look crossed my face, as did katies. Amy noticed this. "C'mon guys, y'know, the harp?" She said, signaling to her hips.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Katie says, glancing between me and Amy.

"Neither do I," I say after her. Amy looked bewildered, looking from me, to Katie, to her leg. She shook her head and put her hands to her hips.

"Seriously guys, I'm talking about," She pulled down the side of her shorts, "This!" She says, staring at her thighs. Me and Katie stared too. there, emblazoned on her leg. Was a three stringed harp.
