Chaper... whatever

Previous Chapter

AN- okay, since Im lazy and haven't been on for a while, Im gonna skip a few chapters. I need to catch up with the main story, so Im just gonna pretty much tell you what was supposed to happen, and I'll write those chapters when I feel like it. So whats supposed to happen is... *spoiler alert* They have the morning where they wake up ponies and all the AAHHHH IM A HORSE stuff. Alex turns into my OC cherrycloud, amy turns into lyra, Matt turns into thunderlane. One day cherrycloud and thunderlane try to fly, but cherry get blown away by a small gust of wind, and is blown farther away once landing on a cloud. (follow her story in 'gentle breeze of change') They all go the try and find cherry then end up seeing the main story characters at the park with 'starbreezer'. They split up again, thunderlane going for cherry, lyra and Katie following the other ponies. L+K lose the ponies, and shelter in an alley for the night. That's where Im starting...

Faint streaks of sunlight danced across my black vision. Muttering a blurred "five more minutes" I rolled over on my side and covered my face with my hand. I was able to lay there peacefully before I felt a hoof prodding my in the side. I reluctantly opened my deep green eyes and glared at the minty unicorn standing above me. I sat up and stretched.

"You're finally up" Lyra grinned, sitting back on her haunches. I gave her a drowsy nod. "I have to show you something," She grinned even larger, tapping her horn, " I figured out how to use it." Those words made me really wake up.

"Its about time!" I said excitedly, "All that thing has dome so far is create little sparks that set out dinner on fire once." I crossed my arms, and Lyra gave a pink blush.

"Well, I learned how to levitate small things, watch this." She brought her gaze to a small rock. She shut her eyes and concentrated. A gold light surrounded her horn, and soon the rock. Lyra scrunched her eyes harder and sweat rolled down her forehead. Soon I saw the rock slowly rising. My mouth gaped open. The rock was floating in mid-air! It moved around in small circles, and two more smaller rocks lifted about an inch. Lyra let out a gasp soon after and the rocks dropped to the ground. I could her muttering something about headaches. I gave her a smile.

"That was awesome!" I congratulated her, " how long did it take you to figure out that?"

She blushed, "I just had a dream about it, that's all." I cocked my head, but she didn't notice. "We should keep moving," she insisted, "I don't want to lose them like we did when they went to the park to meet that guy." I rolled my eyes.

"Fine."

I curled up tighter, while feeling something jabbing me in the side. I was able to hear the thing say something like, "beshychoub," and didn't pay any attention. The thing prodded my harder and I was able to hear what it was saying more clearly, it sounded excited. "Cherrycloud!" At hearing my name I gave the stranger a look, and widened my eyes at who it was.

"Thunderlane!" I shouted happily, "Thank celestia you guys finally came!" I stood up and glanced back at my not-very-comfortable bed of cement with a newspaper pillow. Thunderlane followed my gaze.

"Wow, must've been hard sleeping somewhere like that." He sat and pointed a hoof to the sky. "The clouds are much better. I raised my eyebrow.

"Last time I checked you couldn't fly."

He gave a blush, "Well I was practicing a little on the way here, Im not to good yet, but I can reach the clouds sometimes."

I smirked.I was wondering when I would be able to show off.I thought. "Watch this," I spread my wings and gave them a few flapps to get rid of the stiffness from last night. I raised them high and gave a mighty heave. I felt the ground disappear below me and I gave another flap, not as strong as the last one. I glanced down at thunderlane, and my mouth dropped open almost more than his. I didn't know I was so high! I looked upward again and murmured to myself "don't look down" and I kept flapping. Soon I found a soft ball of white in front of me. I gave one last flap and landed gently on the cloud. I leaned over and stuck my tongue out at thunderlane. He rolled his eyes.

I grabbed the cloud and slowly fluttered down with it. Soon my hooves touched the ground again and I put the cloud down. I glanced at thunderlane, whos jaw was all the way to the concrete floor. I couldn't surpress a giggle. Finally his jaw shut and he stumbled for words.

"How did-where could-since when-I don't-Whaa?"

I shrugged,"I met some other ponies and they showed me what to do." His mouth gaped open again.

"You found others!?" He shouted, waving his hooves in the air, "Why didn't you bring them!?"

I shrugged again, "They had a house and everything, it seemed mean to take it all away just for my sake."

He huffed and muttered something under his breath. Then he turned and glanced down the sidewalk. "We're lucky its night, otherwise all this shouting would draw attention, and Im pretty sure we've at least woken one person up." I nodded in agreement, then suddenly a thought popped into my head.

"Wheres Katie and Lyra?" I asked, realizing for the first time they weren't here.

Thunderlane kept glancing from side to side as he answered. "We split up, those two went after some other ponies. I came to find you." I opened my mouth to give an angry reply, then realized that's what I would've done too. I sighed and looked at thunderlanes flank. It still bore the thundercloud with lightning. I gazed back at my own flank. It was a spoon and a spatula crossed, with an ice cream cone above them with a cherry, and had wings sprouting from the sides of the cone. I smiled to myself. The others were confused about it, but I somehow knew what it meant. The spoon and spatula are my love for baking, but since they're crossed like swords it also shows my competitive spirit. The criss crossed lines on the cone represent my mixed personality, but its all covered up by a layer of sweet. The cherry shows I always like to top it off with a big finish. And the wings aren't because Im good at flying, but instead I can take a simple idea and make it better so it kinda, takes flight. I grinned, and looked back at thunderlane, who seemed done thinking of a way to move.

"Okay, so if we stay to the shadows, we would only have a chance of being seen where there are light gaps. My guess is that they're either staying at some crappy hotel or something, or an isolated house. if we can find some sort of-" He was cut off as a pink blur flashed by us. I got a quick peek at what it was. I think thunderlane saw it too. He muttered, "That's one of the ponies." He sprng to his hooves and began to gallop after the pink pony. I spread my wings and followed him in the air. Somehow, we lost her. I heard thunderlane cursing to himself, while I looked around for any traces the pony may have made. I couldn't find any clues as to where she was going, but I found some tracks that showed where she came. I landed next to some mud. There were hoof tracks in it, too big to be mine, but too small to be thunderlanes. I glanced over my shoulder to see him approaching me.

"How could we have lost her!" He growled angrily, "we were so close!"

"Well, there are occasional mud puddles, and she seems to have stepped in some." I signaled to the puddle with the hoof prints. "If we followed them we could find out where she was living, cause Im pretty sure you said there was more than one." He grinned at the plan and nodded eagerly. I glanced down the sidewalk and saw the next puddle. I thought to myself, We'll figure this out soon, I can just feel it.
