Oh, so you're a GIRL dragon?
A few extra ponies had just arrived 3 days ago, 3 in total, to be exact. One of them was Mateo. A 24 year old stallion. No-one knew much about him, only his name, and his cutie mark. A simple pony, with a blue coat, and a black mane. The next, misfortune. Rumors state that he abandoned ponyville after some sort of accident, and donned a mask. Nobody knows what he looks like. Most of the ponies assumed they wouldn’t find out anytime soon. The final pony was an alicorn named Lightning Secret. Strange thing about her though: she wasn't a princess. She was probably the most social of them all. She'd find herself walking down the streets, having small talk with every vendor, and frequently helping rarity with dress-making. "Fashion is our passion!" The phrase was uttered frequently whenever the two had collaborated on an extravagant dress, and they stepped back to admire their work. Elsewhere however...
Journal Entry 1:
My name is Victoria DragonSinger, dragons call me DS. I am 1600 years of age. I am a person whose name, says it all. I sing to fellow dragon and to wild animals, taming them and making people forget about the problems in their life. My guitar is everything to me and i take it everywhere i go. My best friend is my sister, Summer. No-one understands me but her. People make fun of me cause all i do is sing a song. She doesn’t care, when the other dragons don’t let me eat gems, she gives me hers. I don’t eat a lot of gems...i only eat emerald, ruby or sapphire. Some dragons think its a good idea to pick a fight with me...then they find out i can actually hurt a person..Summer ran away somewhere so i’ve been on my own for a while..i feel like this is all i have now... -DS
“Victoria get out of your room and come down here!!” a female voice squawked out. It sounded like nails on a chalkboard to DS.
“You can’t make me!!” Victoria said as she took out her guitar and was singing to a song her mother hated to.
“Victoria get down here now!! I’ll take your guitar!!” The elder dragon yelled.
Victoria opened the door and stared at her mother. She grabbed the guitar.
“No!! Give it back!!” Victoria screamed.
All she did was walk away.
Victoria slammed her door and was staring at the roof. She reminded herself,.
“My name is Victoria DragonSinger. People call me DS. I am a blue dragon with purple claws. I am 1600 or i guess they can say 16.” She said and stopped. She looked at her claws that were sometimes covered in blood from all the times she played the guitar.
Fast forward to that night. Victoria quickly flew through the house and grabbed her guitar before her mother could react.
“VICTORIA!!!” her mother yelled.
Victoria just continued flying. She flew out of the dragons’ village. She honestly didn’t know or care where, just away from everyone. The weather was getting rough so she stayed in a cave about 3 miles away from ponyville. From all the strain she put on her wings, she passed out.
For what seemed like an eternity, she floated in darkness. She was all alone and she liked it. as unsettling as it was to not hear your own breathing or feel your own heartbeat, Victoria felt like she was being rejuvenated. It was until her body was ready to come back out from its coma-like state she heard a few voices. She couldn't see but her hearing was coming back to her--slowly.
“Mateo...Whaddo I do with this one?”
“Nothing yet. He’s just asleep. Set a bonfire.”
“gotcha.”
“Dude, he has a guitar, do you think he plays it?”
“Oooor its a guitar from ONE OF HIS VICTIMS!!”
Laughter.
“What do you think happens when he wakes up?”
“We’re screwed?”
“yeah, seems about right.”
DS’ vision blurred once more as she slipped under.
Silence for a few hours.
“Dude he’s wakin up!!”
“if anything happens don’t be afraid to shoot.”
“dude, it’s a dragon, I’ve been having an itchy trigger finger.”
An awkward silence. DS’s vision was still blurred but she tried to stand, only to be met with the barrel of an ithaca m37 in one of her eyes.
“don’t even think about it.”
She didn’t say anything. She just sat back down against the cave.
“well you’re obviously not scared of a dragon.”
“I AIN’T AFRAID A NO DUNGEON!
She stood up once again, and yawned, stretching her wings and letting the sound escape from her mouth.
“Oh SHIT!”
“well, we’re fucked.”
“Shoot him bro!!”
“My friggin gun’s jammed! just take the shot Misfortune!”
He took a shot, and the slug just grazed her.. She had a sword the whole time and she used it to have the metal block the bullet.
“DUDE HE FREAKIN BLOCKED IT!”
“SHOOT AGAIN!!”
The masked one took one more shot, and she blocked it again.
“Now, did your mothers tell you it wasn’t right to SHOOT a woman!? “ She yelled as she sheathed her sword.
“Oh...so you’re a giiirl dragon.”
“Who knew a girl could dodge a bulle-” He was then elbowed in the gut by the black-maned pony.
“Now who said I dodged ALL the bullets?”
She moved her hand and her shoulder was covered in purple blood.
“And the guitar?”
“It’s my guitar, what’d you think it was the guitar of someone i ate!?”
“....noooooo”
“Ugh you idiots, anyways, call me DS.”
“What’s your real name?”
“I won’t tell you that!”
“Heh, my name’s Mateo and the guy who got elbowed here is Misfortune.”
“Sup.”
Misfortune wore a mask. It had those red glowing irises where his eyes should be, looked as if he was going for an eerie feel. If it weren't for the bonfire it would’ve worked.
“Why are you guys in this cave anyways?”
“Well we were gonna hunt a dragon...but seeing it’s a giiirl...i dunno”
The blood on DS’s arm didn’t stop bleeding, so eventually she passed out from blood loss.
“Do....you think she’s dead??”
“Dunno....dude what if we killed her?”
“Hey I didn’t shoot the gun, this is all on you.”
“HELL YEAH I JUST KILLED A DRAGON!!...oh wait...I just killed a dragon...a female-”
“1600 years old...she’s only a teenager”
“ I JUST KILLED A TEENAGER DRAGON!”
“Or did you..dude I think she’s still alive..”
“Dude should we take her to Ponyville??”
“Don’t we have the supplies to fix her up?”
“I left them back at home, I thought we wouldn’t need them!”
“Dammit, Misfortune....but I don’t want to carry a freakin dragon!!”
“Just get a cart from Ponyville, I’ll stay here and make sure she doesn’t die.”
The crackling of the bonfire started to lull Misfortune to sleep. It'd been a while since he'd done that and right now just seemed like a good time, after all--he never knew when he'd sleep again. Right before he was about to enter the REM sleep, Mateo had ran back up the hill and into the cave, with a triumphant and loud "DID IT!" coming out from his mouth. Misfortune jumped awake with a yelp and grabbed the closest thing to him, which happened to be a pointy rock. "Holy BALLS Mateo! Don't do that again..." Misfortune yawned. "We Terrans gotta keep you new conglomerate rebels in line somehow." Mateo replied, a snarky smirk forming on his face. Misfortune sighed and walked over to DragonSinger, and motioned for Mateo to come over. "Do you REALIZE how heavy dragons are?" he said. After a couple of tries to lift Victoria to no avail, Mateo walked over, and grabbed her hind legs. "on 3...1..2...3!" they both lifted with all of their strength and to their surprise actually got DS up in the air, and into the cart. "push but keep quiet, nobody knows what's in these woods." they both had to push, because the combined weight of the Mining Cart and Victoria through rolling hills for 3 miles. After a while, their knees gave out an they had to rest. "How much do you think she weighs?" Mateo asked, in between his deep breaths. "I'd guess about 800-900 kilograms..." Misfortune replied. 900 kilograms wasn't necessarily a lot, especially for an NC and a TR soldier to PUSH, but the added weight of the cart and since there were rolling hills instead of a straight down push, fatigue was inevitable. "We packed food, right?" Mateo asked. Misfortune checked his supply pack, and gave a nod. "We should probably get back first though." Misfortune said. With that, they both got up and got back to pushing.

The sound of wheels on dirt changed to wheels on cement, and pavement after a while. To Mateo and Misfortune, it sounded all the same. "Did we make it?" Misfortune asked. "Yeah..we did...but where is everyone?" Mateo replied. They both took a look around, and not a single peep could be heard. The occasional leaf would roll by as the wind softly blew, but other than that, it seemed like the entire town had just...up and left. This put Mateo on edge; even when the town was empty on the outside you could still hear its heart beating, you could still hear the hooves on wooden floorboards and family chatter from various houses.
He couldn't.
A crunching leaf-- which was due to misfortune moving--had taken Mateo out of his trance, and a hand on his shoulder made him jump. "Payback. It tastes sweet." Misfortune said. Both of them shared a chuckle until a crunching leaf could be heard behind a building. "I'll go check it out." Mateo said. With that, he left to investigate, and that's when Victoria had jolted awake.
