A long time ago, Discord ruled Equestria. He was defeated by the celestial sisters wielding the Elements of Harmony against him. But what if the collision of the worlds strongest harmony and chaos changed the rules of magic?

Fast forward over a thousand years, and you have a very different Equestria. Every sentient creature can perform one unique magical ability, and that ability is unique to only one living soul at a time. Two thirds of the planet is inaccessible, hidden behind a perpetual wall of storms. The land is fragmented, floating islands make up the only solid ground, suspended over a monster infested sea.

In the skies, two ships are more famous than any others.

The Falling Star: the largest and fastest ship in existence. It's a merchant ship known for carring only the most luxurious and important goods.

The Sky Kraken: the most vicious pirate ship in existence. It drags it's victims up to altitudes above which magic no longer works, robs them, and lets them plummet to their death.

Pipsqueak is the captain of both ships, because they are THE SAME SHIP. (Magic)
