When two worlds collide, you just want a cookie
It started out as a typical Monday, but when I got back home took a wild turn. That's when Pinkie Pie asked for a cookie. No, wait, I think I skipped something. Just a moment please...
I opened the beautiful mahogany door to the fresh scent of chocolate chip cookies that always seemed to linger around my home. I went through the living room over the carpet that felt as soft as velvet and through the dining room, dropping off my keys and bag at the carved oak table. I retired to my bedroom, even though it was only four. I went to the bathroom next to it so I could wash my face and teeth before sprawling out on my bed to enjoy five continuous hours of movies. But something peculiar hand happened; while on my way to my bed, my long mirror that was slightly taller than me didn't show my reflection.
It showed something like a green horse with a tattoo on its rump. It's mane and tail were lime green but it's body a light mint color. "Mint..." I thought to myself, like I should know something abut that. Suddenly my plain black glasses fell and snapped behind me. "Snap... snapping? Snap.. hmmmm... Mintsnap?" There was something special about that, like it belonged to me as much as my own name. The pony smiled upon hearing that name, which I guess is what I'll name that hallucination.
I figured that if it was a hallucination it may as well be a happy one. So I reached out to the mirror to try and stroke the pony.
My fingers slipped right through the glass.
Being one in curiosity's favor, I tried again with the same result of my fingers slipping through once more. I closed my eyes and stepped in to what I think to be some sort of portal, though I still have no idea why it appeared in my room, of all rooms.
