"Where am I and who are you?" I said sternly "I'm Nurse RedHeart and your in the hospital." "I'm in a hospital.....why?" "Well me and the doctor were tending to a patient with a broken wing when we saw you lying out in the middle of the road,you were passed out so we got you in here to make sure you were safe." "May I ask you something?" "What is it?" "Who...am I?" As I finished my sentence there was a moment of silence she looked confused and kinda worried she finally raised an eyebrow and said "you don't know who you are?" "No" I said "I have no idea who I am what my name is where I came from and I was kinda hoping you knew." "Weeeell" she said while sighing "I would be able to know if you remembered your name because then I could probably look up a file on you but since you don't know your name I can't really help much more than I have already" I looked down at my self and saw dark green hooves like dark green grass and suddenly a memory hit me. "Mom can we go to the park today?" I said happily "Sorry dear mom has to work" she said calmly "But moooom you always have to work" "I know sweetie but its what I have to do I'll be back later maybe we can play then" "Buuut moooom I wanna play now" "I know Crezo but mommy has to work ill be back soon you stay safe and remember what I told you to do if someone is in the house you don't know?" "Break there kneecaps with the wooden board you gave me" "That's my boy now i'll be back home later see you soon sweetie" "Bye mommy" As the memory ended I saw Nurse Redheart waving her hoof in front of my face "hey you okay?" she asked "Yeah i'm fine just had a flashback" I said "hey you said you needed my name right?" "Yes I did." "Well my name is Crezo" "O good you remember your name maybe I can find something on you now i'll be back" she darted out of the room leaving me there by myself. I waited....and waited....and waited....finally I said "Jeez how long does it take to find a file on me, I didn't think I wasn't the only pony who doesn't know me" She finally walks back in the room she looked confused and kinda sad. After a moment of silence she said "ummm well I have some bad news" she said in a quiet tone. "What is it?" I said questionably. "we can't really find.....a file on you at all" "WHAT!" "Just take it easy we don't understand either because everypony always has a file, but for some reason you don't" "Why wouldn't I?" "The only logical explanation we have is that you've never entered your self into anything for instance it seems you have no identity no medical files no nothing your unknown to society" I sat there silent wondering how would I not have been entered into well anything it didn't make any sense. Then suddenly it hit me "Redheart is it possible to have anyone and I mean anyone get those files?" she looked at me confused "well yeah if they want to do it illegally and get arrested" "hm well looks like I got nothing on myself do you mind if I get some fresh air" "As long as your healthy then yeah I don't mind, do you have a place to live?" "I don't know" "Eh should of guessed huh" she said mockingly "don't worry about it here ill give you my address you can live with me for a little bit until you get a job and a house of your own" "Are you sure I don't want to intrude on anything" "Don't worry about its the least I can do also i want to learn more about you i'm kinda interested" She handed me a piece of paper with her address on it. So I get to live with a nurse that's interesting to say the least. Well hopefully we'll get to know each other better, more importantly where do i start...to get to know my self better. Chapter 2: A new world to meAs I left through the hospital doors I saw the town everypony seemed happy nothing to out of the ordinary I think I can get used to this nice peaceful town. I walked down the road looking at a variety of shops food,couches,supplies, pretty much anything you'll ever need. This all was peaceful to me for some reason I don't remember living a peaceful life where I came from was always loud but i'm not sure what that place is. Then i realized something...where am I going. "umm yeah I need to find someone for directions" I said "O hey pink pony excuse me." She looked at me as if concentrating trying to figure out something. "Umm do you mind like giv..." i was cut off by her gasping and zipping off into nowhere "Well okay then" I said confused. I was looking around for some other pony to at least explain the town i'm in "wait what am I doing I can just ask Redheart i'm sure she'll tell me what I need to know" I said feeling like an idiot just about so I started looking for Redhearts house and on my luck it was just around the corner. "alright lets get inside and.....its locked right she hasn't given me a key to the house nor will she probably trust me with one yet well i guess I wait here till she comes home can't be to long for that" O boy was I wrong. ================================================================== A few hours later i'm just sleeping on Redheart's porch until of course I get woken up. "Hey sleepy wake up" a girl voice said to me "HUH...wha, who, where, when, o Redheart hey" I said while yawning "Why were you sleeping on my porch?" "Well the doors locked and I don't know this town at all so I just waited for you to come home must of passed out what time is it" "Its midnight" I sat silent for a second "what" "Its midnight I usually work to midnight on the week and on weekends I work till ten unless of course i have a day off" "Heh your a busy girl...anyways can we go inside its starting to get cold" "O yes of course" She opened the door and we both walked in I was actually surprised to see the inside of her house hardly any decorations no photos of parents no plants just the basic stuff a couch, a t.v, a dining table, and kitchen appliances nothing to out of the ordinary. "Hey Redheart why don't you have any photos of family or friends.....or even animals?" I said. "I'd rather not talk about it" she said looking down. "O sorry I di...." "No no its fine you didn't know" "Okay um where do I sleep" "Well I hope you don't mind but all I got for you right now is the couch I only have one room and that's where I sleep" "eh no worries I've probably been though worse" "I'll go grab you a blanket and a pillow" she walked into another room I sat down on the couch and good lord was it comfortable. "Wow Redheart this couch is amazing" I said excited "Yeah I know I usually sleep there when i'm really tired because its so soft even softer then my own bed witch is weird" We both chuckled as she handed me a pillow and a blanket "Thank you" I said "Eh don't worry about it" she said stretching "No I mean thank you for everything you've done for me taking me into the hospital, bringing me into your home till I get back on my hooves.....for some reason I don't feel like anyone has been this nice to me" "O well yeah its what I do please other ponies cause i'm just that kinda pony, now you get some sleep" "Same goes for you" We chuckled once more as she went off to her room I was really happy for what shes done for me. I lied down and closed my eyes and with a smile I drifted off to sleep. Chapter 3: How did I do itI woke up but not in the house in the middle of some sort of....war ground. I had no idea what was going on but there was no pony around just me in silence nothing to talk to. I got up from where I was lying and looked around buildings were destroyed ,ponies bodies all over the place as if the world ended and i was the only one left alive. As I looked around some more I found a picture of me and my mom but there was a piece missing from the photo. You are gaining more of your past. "O great you again what do you want and what is this place" I yelled. This place used to be your home "My...my home?" Yes destroyed by one person "Who destroyed it?" You did After that I woke up so fast poring in sweat wondering how did I do it. I looked around it was quiet no pony around. I looked at the table beside me there was a note on it from Redheart. Hey morning hope you slept well sorry i'm not home I had to go to work early due to a missing nurse. I heard you were having problems in town yesterday from a certain pink pony so I left a map of Ponyville for you. Enjoy the rest of your day. O and if your hungry help your self to the food in the kitchen. sincerely Redheart I picked up the map and saw everything i'll need the hospital, sugar cube corner, the library, sweet apple acres, and even the market place I was in yesterday. However I didn't really care for this right what I cared for was how I did what I did in my dream. I thought....and thought.....and thought then yelled "HOW DID I DO IT" I punched a hoof on the wall when I said that luckily she didn't have any breakables on the wall. I was furious I just couldn't explain to myself how I did it "how did I destroy that whole town how did I do it" I said confused but then looked up and saw a horn "wait i'm a unicorn" just then I had another flashback. "You'll do good son just try and pass don't think about failing" a man said "Yeah I know dad but magic is hard" I say sadly "Don't worry son you'll get the hang of it just remember all the lessons I taught and you should be fine" "Okay dad ill try" The memory ended with me hugging my father "is it possible my magic destroyed that town is my magic that strong" I pondered to myself for hours thinking all day not knowing what time it is. Then suddenly the door opens on instinct I grab a wooden board. "Who's there" I asked "Its....me um why do you have a wooden board in your hoof?" asked Redheart she seemed a little down about something almost on the verge of tears. "Sorry instinct what's the matter you look like your about to cry" "Its nothing I just had a bad day at work is all" "What happened?" "S....Som......Somepony died today" she said as she ran over to me and hugged me. "Yeah that happens I know" I said returning the hug. "No you don't understand" "What do you mean?" "The pony who died.......was my father" Chapter 4: Tragedy strikes"Your.....your father?" I said concerned "Yes" she said while crying "I...i'm so sorry I didn't......I wasn't.....I ju-" she stuck her hoof up by my mouth "Don't worry about it its just me and my father had a falling out then he shows up at the hospital like hes been through some sort of war he was so badly damaged I highly doubt he even knew I worked there" "Through some....war?" "Yeah why is there a problem with what I said" she said a little bit snippy "No its just....I had a dream where I was in a place and this place happened to be where I lived but destroyed and it looked like it went through some sort of war, coincidence?" "Huh strange" she finally stepped back and wiped the tears from her eyes "i'm sorry I did that its just he was the only family I had in Ponyville and its just so....so tragic to loose something like that I just couldn't take it after he left me I just wanted to make things right and..and I just wan-" this time I cut her off "Don't think about it much more then you have to, you'll just grieve over it more. Now how bout you get some sleep k?" "Yeah....yeah your right ill deal with it tomorrow, you know you can be a really nice guy sometimes" "Eh I try to be you know i'm just that kinda pony" She chuckled "hey I said that" "I know just had to make you smile, now you get some sleep" "Thanks for being so nice to me, I can't believe I let a stranger into my house and he becomes such a good friend" she hugs me again as I hugged her back. I really felt I accomplished something I've never done before Its weird I have feelings that I've never done anything good. ======================================================================== Morning came and no dreams for me it seems I get a day off from all this nonsense that's been happening, suddenly I smell something cooking. "Redheart you still home?" I asked "Yeah I called in sick" she said from the kitchen "I just can't work today the doctor understands so i'm making you and me some breakfast" "Okay, what ya making?" "Just some hay bacon and some toast" "Well it smells nice" "Yeah I know" After she got the food to the table we started eating, it tasted amazing unspeakable goodness "Dang girl this stuff is amazing why weren't you a professional cook instead" I said with enthusiasm. "Heh heh I get told i'm a good cook a lot" she said "I do what everypony else does" "Well somehow you manage to do it better" she started blushing "O stop it its just ordinary food" "Hey i'm just trying to make you happy" "You did good, hey may I ask you something?" "Of course what is it?" "Do you mind....walking....with me today?" I froze for a second then responded "what do you mean?" "Like just around town I gotta return some books to the library and I want someone to talk to" "Yeah of course, I don't mind were friends after all" After our meal I cleaned the dishes for her for being such an awesome cook really though shes good. =========================================================================== A few moments later we were at the library she was returning some books and I was browsing while she did so. I saw some good books but nothing really caught my eye until I saw one labeled The Day The Town Fell It seemed interesting so I picked it up. "Found a book I see" said a purple unicorn "Yeah I did do you mind if I borrow it?" I said "Go ahead I've read it a million times, names Twilight Sparkle by the way" she raised a hoof "Crezo" I said as I shook her hoof "You seem new has Pinkie seen you yet?" "Uh if you mean a pink pony with three balloons on her flank the yes I have" "O boy are you in for a surprise" I raised an eyebrow "what do you mean?" "You'll see" she said walking away. I was confused but none the less I have a book to read now. Redheart and I left the library and walked around town silent while background ponies talked and talked. I looked over to Redheart who hasn't said much to me or anypony for that matter. I finally work the courage and asked "hey you alright you haven't said very much?" "Yeah" she said in a quiet tone. "Okay just remember if you need to get anything off your chest i'm right here" "Yeah I know" "Okay stop" "What is it" "We can't just have some partypooper walking around come on cheer up, have some fun, I understand your father died but if you keep grieving over it your never gonna be happy again" "Your right.....your right, man how do you know just what to say?" "Like I said i'm that kinda pony" We crossed into an ally way for a quicker way back home. As we made it home everything was quiet to quiet but we really didn't even notice. We walked in the home silent for a second "Glad to be home" Redheart said. "Hey your smiling" I said mockingly "Yeah cause I have a good friend" "Heh heh I try to be a good fri-" "CREZO BEH-" Before she could finish her sentence I was out cold that last thing I heard was the both of us hitting the ground. Chapter 5: The long way homeI finally woke up rubbing the back of my head but not at Redheart's home no in some sort of stone building or room not sure, but something tells me were moving. I look over to Redheart who's still out cold "looks like its up to me for now" I said quietly. What I didn't know is where to start. I looked around the room frantically but nothing no doors, no windows, no nothing just some holes in the roof. I had no idea what to do at this point "eh might as well wake her up" I said "Redheart Redheart wake up" "Huh what" she said shaking her head "You all right?" "Yeah where are we?" "I'll be honest I have absolutely no idea" "Well that's great" she said kinda rudely "Just relax there's gotta be someway out of here" "What about the holes in the roof?" "To high up" I sat down thinking not saying a word at all Redheart just looked at me thinking I was having another flashback. "Hey Crezo" she said "Yeah?" "Can I ask you something?" "Sure what is it?" "What's with your cutie mark I've never seen anything like it" "I have a cutie mark?" I looked at my self and saw a white sad face it looked familiar. Then suddenly flashback. "No one has ever had this before" a scientist said "I understand can you at least explain what it means?" said my father "Not really not everypony has a tragedy mask as a cutie mark" "WELL I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT MEANS SO I CAN HAVE MY SON BACK" my father yelled The flashback ended I looked over to Redheart and said "the mark stands for tragedy. I don't know what my talent is, but I have that mark and that's what it means" "O my so maybe it means you.....cause tragedy" she said in a scared tone "Don't be afraid of it I don't think that's it. It could be acting skills maybe" "True, okay back to getting out of here" "Right um" I sat silent once more looked around but there's nothing in sight that I can see to use. "I have an idea" I said she looked at me "what is it?" "I can levitate you up to the ceiling and you can tell me what you see" "Is your magic that strong?" "I hope so, do you trust me?" she paused for a second to think "of course I do" I get another feeling as if someone has never said that to me "alright then i'll levitate you up" I used my magic to levitate her and it seems I was having no problems with it at all as if she was just a feather. "What do you see?" I asked "Eh I see a bunch of clouds but were moving I can tell you that much" she said "O wait I see Rainbow Dash" "Who?" "Not important right now levitate me something to throw" "Uh here a rock should do" I levitated her the rock. "Alright just one good throw" she threw the rock I was hoping for succession "yes got her attention, RAINBOW DOWN HERE" "Careful don't yell to much" "Shes coming shes coming" she said clapping "Yo whats going on" said Rainbow "O rainbow thank goodness you gotta get us outta here" "Whoa nurse take it easy I got this just let me se-" "HEY STOP HER" some voice said. "O shoot" Rainbow took off "I'LL TELL MY FRIENDS GUYS DON'T WORRY" "Well good effort" I said while levitating her down. "Yeah...thanks" she said softly. "Hey don't worry were gonna get out of here I promise" ===================================================================== The thing were in stopped as if dropped somewhere we saw a wall open "o a camouflage door, clever" I said. We walked out into an even bigger room nothing to see nothing to hear. I looked around to see if there was an exit but didn't find anything. "Well looks like this is gonna be hard" I said "any ideas?" "I got nothing" she said "Rainbow did say she was gonna tell her friends so my idea would be just to wait" "Well we gotta try something cause they probably don't even know where we are" "I know but what can we do" as she said that I had another flashback. "Your son sir has a substantial amount of magic power he can pretty much break anything" the scientist said "That's great and all but whats with the cutie mark I want to know" my dad said angered "Its simple really with his magic being so strong he can cause tragedy thus explaining the mark" "Are you saying my son is a danger to society? cause if so you better hope he can control it or you'll be his first victim" The flashback ended I looked down at my hooves wondering how could I of everyone have this much magic power it didn't make sense. Redheart looked at me "hey you okay Crezo?" "Yeah......i'm fine" I said in a depressing tone "You don't sound li-" "You were right" I interrupted her "you were right about me I cause tragedy that's my talent" "Wha.....what?" "In this flashback I just had my magic is so strong it cause tragedy and apparently someone wanted me to forget about it so I wouldn't find it out, but its to late now I know what I am and i'm........getting us out of here" "Well how are you go-" Before she could even finish her sentence I blasted a magic blast making a huge hole in the wall "that's how" I said "THERE ESCAPING STOP THEM" a guard shouted "Crezo" Redheart said concerned I started laughing menacingly "you want some guards bring it on" Redheart looked at me confused and scared. All the guards charged in at once "YOU'LL NEVER HURT ME OR HER SO.....LEAVE....US....ALONE" on that last note I let out some sort of shock wave pushing all of the guards back. most were dead, some heavily injured, some scared for there lives "now were gonna walk out of here and your gon-" Redheart tackled me. "Crezo snap out of it" she screamed "Snap out of what this is who I am this is what I become you can-" she slapped me "Redheart I-" "Crezo please your not like this you can be better. Just cause your cutie mark tells you that's your talent doesn't mean you have to listen to it. Go back to who you were a nice guy the guy I knew the guy.......I loved." Chapter 6: The journey back"You...love me?" I asked "Yes" she said "I don't know what it was, but you were being so nice I just couldn't help myself my feelings just made me love you" We both sat silent I returned to my senses everything was calm. "I'm sorry" I said "Don't wo-" I interrupted "No i'm sorry for what I just did a flashback just made me snap into what I was instead of staying who I am" She stepped off of me and I stood up "however i'm finding out where we are" I walked over to one of the guards that brought us here. "Where are we?" I asked him "I'll never tell you" he said. "You sure about that do you not see what I did to your friends. As far as your concerned I could do it to you to so tell me where we are" "Fine, your far from Ponyville, Canterlot, even Manehattan" "Is that so then where do we walk to get back?" "Down that road leads you back" he said pointing "but its not the easiest travel nor safest" "Safety is not a matter to me right now. One more thing, who sent you?" "That i'm not telling" "Tell me now before you become one of your friends" "No matter how much you try to scare me I wont tell you" "Hm very well" I hit him in his neck, he fell to the ground unconscious "Let's go Redheart" "Okay" she said. We started walking down the road nopony in sight no towns in sight just trees and clouds. As we walked I looked over to Redheart who was keeping her distance from me. "Your still scared?" "Yeah" she said softly "I understand if after all this you never wanna see me again after what I did back there. I'll gladly leave your life if you so wish" She stood silent thinking of what to say "I don't want you to leave" "What, not even after that stunt back there you still want me here?" "Yes like I said when we first met I want to know more about you and i'm not gonna let that slip away just because you pulled off some outstanding powers that I've never seen before" I smiled "well that's great. I really thought you would never wanna see me again" the sun went behind a hill "well we better find some shelter" "Where we're in the middle of some sort of forest" "Hey let's just make one we gotta get some rest or were never gonna make it home" We went between some trees to start making a shelter in the woods. I grabbed some firewood and some rocks while she sat down to rest. I put the sticks and wood in the circle of rocks I made and stared grinding rocks together to make fire. "Come on fire" I said "You should really find flint" she said. "Where am I gonna find flint out in the mid-" she held out a piece of flint to me "how long have you had that?" "It was right by where I was sitting" she smiled, I facehoofed "Anyways" I used flint and a piece of rock and got sparks to start a fire "There we got fire, now i'm gonna grab some branches to make a shelter" I used my magic to break some branches of the trees. I made a nice shelter out of branches and leaves. "Lets hope this holds" "Yeah lets" she said "Ladies first" I said jokingly. "Well thank you my gentlemen" she said jokingly We both chuckled and got in the shelter "you know Redheart after all this time you have been nice to me as well" "What do you mean?" she said "Well you brought me into your house, you got me all fixed up from being passed out, and you don't even care that I scare the daylights out of you, you still wanna be my friend and it makes me happy" "Its what i'm not so known for" "And whats that?" I asked "Being so....forgiving" she scooted closer to me but I wasn't paying attention. "I see you like that" I said smiling. She looked at me smiling "you know what I said back there?" "That you loved me" "Yeah that, I hope it didn't effect anything about us" "Of course not we're still who we are" "Can I ask you something?" I was ready for a certain question Do you love me to Is what I thought she would say so here goes. "What is it?" I ask "Can we....stay close together its getting cold" "Oh.....yeah of course" I said kinda confused "Did I say something wrong?" "No no just, you asked me something different then what I was expecting" "No its just cold it doesn't mean anything I swear" "Its fine I understand" she moved in closer to me the point where we were touching. She started to hug me but I didn't mind I just wanted to go home. We both drifted off to sleep and I started dreaming once again. Because your father told me not to I woke up at that moment seeing the sun in the sky and Redheart right in my face. "Redheart" I said "Mmm what" she said barley opening her eyes. "Ahem look down" She looked down "O....my" "Care to explain why your on top of me?" "Its not what you think I swear" "Hey hey take it easy I know nothing happened, but do you mind getting off?" "O yeah sorry" We both got up and looked around "looks like were safe lets get a move on" I said. "Wish we had some food right now" she said while her stomach growled. "Once we get home trust me i'm gonna eat everything in your fridge then buy more food to restock it then eat that as well" we both chuckled and on that note we made our way down the path to get home faster. We still haven't seen anypony and we were kinda hoping to see Rainbow again but she never came back to us. We soon ended up at a split path. "O great" she said "now what?" "Maybe I should of asked that guy for a map" I said feeling like an idiot "I say we go left" "And whys that?" "Gut feeling" "Alright i'm trusting your gut then" We went down the left path not knowing what is gonna be ahead. The day suddenly got darker. "Maybe I was wrong" she said "We should turn back" "No" I said "He said its not the safest path so we might have to take this to go back and plus i'm right here if anything happens ill stop it" "Okay now i'm trusting you" We walked deeper into the dark forest following the path in front of us not stopping for a minute. "Well it seems safe so far" I said. "Yeah I guess" "Its actually kinda peaceful I really expe-" my words were cut off by a loud sound "What was that?" I asked "I-I don't know" she said worried. "Well lets keep on GAAAAH" the floor broke from under us. "O GOD WERE GONNA DIE" Redheart screamed in fear "JUST CALM DOWN" I levitated her to me "Listen I have an Idea but its not the safest" I started moving broken pieces under us making a stable floor "hold on tight" I said. We landed on the floor I made safely "well that works now time to get us ou- um I cant levitate it up" "Come on Crezo don't mess with me" "I'm not I really can't go up. O boy this is gonna hurt um BRACE FOR IMPACT" We hit solid ground hard breaking what I made "ow" I said getting up. "Redheart you okay? Redheart..............Redheart?" I looked around but couldn't see her "REDHEART" I yelled. "Crezo" she said softly I turned to look and somepony had a sharp blade to her neck. However this was no ordinary somepony it.....was my dad. Chapter 7: My own Family"D-dad!" I was surely surprised "O so my son still lives" he said "I thought you would of never known me" "Whats that supposed to mean?" "I'm the one who wiped your memory" "What. why, why would you do that?" "I wanted you to be safe" "SAFE MY FLANK" "Just take it e-" "No father just.....no.....let her go now or as you said to that scientist you'll be my first victim" "You'll just hurt her I was getting her out of the way of you" "shut up" "Its true to you are the master of tragedy" "shut up" "And what you did back at that camp I wouldn't be surprised if you hurt her to" "SHUT UP" "O is my son angry because I had him captured" "I SAID SHUT UP that's enough from you" "Well if that's the case the girl dies now and there's noth-hnng" I levitated the knife away from Redheart and put him to a wall. "I'm shocked father you wanted me back now you want to make my life a living hell WHY!?" "I'm trying to save you son your power will return and ruin everything just like when you ruined your own home" "I......I don't care, I want to never EVER see you again and I swear if I do I will end you" "Your powers are unstable son you can't control them" "So you made me forget them I get it, ill find a way to control them and I kind of already have since I haven't destroyed more then a little camp" "I know but there's a memory you don't want which will make you snap and destroy Ponyville unless your stopped" I was silent thinking to myself wondering what to do if my fathers right I have to stop myself but if I can control my powers why listen to him. Finally I say "No father I will live my life, I will control my powers and there's nothing you can do about it" "But son if you just li-" I interrupted "I'm done with you now how do we get out of here?" "But son I ju-" "ENOUGH how do we get out!?" My father sighs "through that tunnel over there takes you straight to the surface" "Thanks you now one more question, why are you down here?" "I set a trap for you and her I had to stop you but it seems I can not" "That's all I need" I dropped him to the ground "now I never want to see you again please just......go" "Son I ju-" "GO" I shouted at him. He stood up and walked away. I felt Redheart looking at me, I turned to her, she was frightened of what I just did to my own father. "I'm....sorry, I just couldn't stand you getting hurt" I said sadly. She started walking toward me "Its okay I wasn't scared of what you did" "What?" "I was scared of your father trying to kill me. but you saved me and i'm thankful for that" she wrapped her hooves around me. I was actually shocked its like she was never scared of what I've done. I hugged her back though I felt water on my shoulder. "Are you crying?" I asked, She nodded "why are you crying?" "Cause i'm....happy you saved me" she looked at me in the eyes "I was so scared Crezo I knew you would do something to stop him and I thank you for it" she started to lean back to my shoulder but I stopped her and looked into her eyes. "Your welcome Redheart" as I said that we kissed under the light. It was a pretty long kiss and I gotta say shes not bad. She hugged me tighter now and I hugged her as well, but the moment got broken by a familiar voice. "There you guys are" said Rainbow "Where have you been" I said "Getting my friends, some of them are earthponies and unicorns, they had to run this whole thing so give me a break" "Yall need some help down there" an orange pony said "Uh yeah we do" I said "Well here's a rope" a rope came swinging down in front of us. I grabbed on holding Redheart. "Alright everypony pull hard" said Twilight, they pulled hard enough that we got to the top fast out of this trap that my father set for us. "Why didn't we follow your father?" asked Redheart. "Because I don't want to follow him down that path as far as I know it could of been trap" I said. We both stood up and started walking down the path to get home hoping no more problems will come up. "Okay before we continue" I said "I know two out of the five that are here so introducing party time" "I'm Rarity darling" she said "Applejack partner" the orange one said "I'm.....Fluttershy" the yellow Pegasus said "Good now I know you all, now tell me you guys have a fast way back" I said "Were all ready here" said twilight "Um how exactly?" "Well you guys weren't to far off from Ponyville you were just at the end of the Everfree Forest" "I thought that looked familiar" said Redheart "Well at least we'er home" I said walking to Redhearts house "and no more surpr-" "SURPRISE" said a familiar pink pony. Chapter 8: No surprises would of been nice"I was hoping for no more surprises" I said "why wouldn't you want a surprise there soooooOOOOooo funerific" Pinkie said "I think I've had enough for one day" "O come on Crezo" said Redheart "its a party might be nice after what we went through" "Yeah I guess so, but whats this party about?" I asked "Its about you silly billy for moving into Ponyville" said Pinkie "For me? huh well that's weird I've never would of expected this Pinkie" Suddenly I got a flashback. "Mommy daddy its my birthday" I said 'Yes it is champ" my dad said "Happy birthday son" my mom said They went back to there conversation. My flashback went through ever birthday I've had but not a single party. I had no idea my life was so boring I still don't know where I came from but I would like to know. "Hey Crezo wake up" said Redheart "you okay?" "Yeah just another flashback to my party less life" I said "YOU NEVER HAD A PARTY FOR YOURSELF" she said in shock "Nope not a single one for my birthday or anything" "That's so sad your partying tonight like it or not" "I'm done for tonight I just wanna sleep" "O no you don't" she grabbed me by the hoof "your gonna either dance with me and party or you gonna at least stay out here and enjoy yourself" I looked at her in the eyes I could tell she wasn't telling a lie. "Alright, but suddenly I remember being a good dancer" I said with a smirk. "O is that so prove it to me then" "Your on nurse" I said all smug =========================================================== After the party witch took til midnight, Redheart and I were both sitting on the couch breathing heavily for we were out of breath. "Well.....you wanted me to prove that I can dance" I said out of breath "You proved it all right I didn't know you could actually dance I thought you were kidding" she said "Heh heh yeah, all right lets get some sleep I don't know about you, but i'm tired" "Yeah.....can I ask you something?" "yes you can, what is it?" "Can....you sleep....with me tonight?" My head turned her way so fast I thought my brain was gonna fall out of my ear. "What?" "Will you sleep with me tonight?" "Just sleep?" "Yes" I sat silent for a second thinking "You don't have to i'm just asking" she said "Yes" "What?" "Yes I will sleep with you, its what we did in the little shelter that started this isn't" "Yes it was fun to sleep by somepony, I usually sleep alone for I have no pony come over to stay the night" "I thought it was fun to but this time your not gonna be on top of me right?" "No I promise that wont happen again" "Alright then" as we made our way to her room she stopped for a second. "What is it?" "Uh can you give me a second I gotta put something away in my room first" she said wile sweating "Um sure" she darted in the room fast enough so I couldn't see what was inside. I waited patiently I heard her moving something around but I wasn't to sure what it was. "You alright in there?" I asked through the door. "Yeah hng fine" she said struggling to put something away. "Doesn't sound like it" "No no i'm fine just putting something on a top shelf that's all" "I have magic you know I can help you" "No its fine" I was starting to get curious what she was trying to hide was it something I really shouldn't know about. "Okay you can come in now" she said, I walked in the room and like the house nothing on the walls just a lamp and a table by the bed, a dresser, and a closet that's locked shut. "So what were you trying to put away?" I asked "Just some pri-I mean um a heavy box that's all" she said nervously. "Alright then i'm just gonna get some sleep and ignore what happened in here k.....k" We both climbed in the bed she put the covers on both of us for I was already asleep and wouldn't you guess it dreaming. "I'm here again?" Yes you are and you've done well "I know who you are now step out and face me" As you wish A figure stepped out of the shadows and who would of thought I was right. "I had a feeling it was you all along......mother" Chapter 9: An unexpected guest"How long?" I asked. "How long what?" my mother asked me. "How long were you gonna hold back and not tell me this whole time it was you in my dreams?" "I was hoping you would find out sooner so I could tell you sooner" "Hm, alright new question why not tell me everything about me why make my father hold you back?" "He had me threatened Crezo I couldn't do anything to help you or else he would of killed me" "TO HIS OWN WIFE WHY WOULD HE DO THAT WHAT HAPPENED TO DAD!!?" "He became corrupt with power and lost his mind" "O so that's why he tried to kill Redheart" "Yes exactly and he was trying to kill you to in the process" "Can he be fixed?" "No" "Will I see him again?" "Yes" "Will he try to kill me again?" "Yes and everypony you know" "I have to kill him first don't I" "Yes" "Now your being straight with me why not before, why not tell me you were the one telling me what to do, how do you know everything that's going to happen, why don't you te-" she put her hoof by my mouth. "Like I've said before the answers will come to you" "BUT WHY NOT JUST TELL ME!" "Because they will come to you either way and its easier for them to come to you instead of them being forced into you" "Alright fine ill wait then is it morning yet I want to wake up" "It is morning before you wake up though" "What is it?" "Keep this Redheart girl close shes your type" "Mooom" I said like a 5 year old as she chuckled. I woke up actually confused was my mom right, how does she know all of this, why doesn't she just tell me what I need to do, and Redheart is hugging me. I looked over she was smiling happy as can be I couldn't disrupt this, it was just nice to see. Her eyes slowly opened and she realized what she was doing but she didn't care she just kept on hugging me. "Morning Redheart" I said "Yeah morning" she said quietly "Your still-" "I know I am" "Are we gonna get up soon?" "Yeah yeah just...let me lay here for a second" "Alright" we laid in bed for about ten minutes before she finally got up. "Sorry bought that just you know been rough" she said. "I understand completely" I said in agreement We went out to the kitchen and she started making breakfast "you better be making a feast" I said jokingly. "Trust me I could eat whole field of hay right now" she said as we both chuckled. She sat down my food in front of me and I can't tell you how heavenly it looked, its like I got a gift from the heaves I was so hungry. After we ate our meal we sat back on the couch and I thought FOOD WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN. "That was really good Redheart" I said satisfied "I surprised myself this time" she said "man I was so hungry. Hey I just realized something" "What is it?" "My house is a mess" the house was torn apart. "Looks like we didn't clean up last night" I said nervously. "Yeah no worries ill clean this up" "Not alone i'm going to help you like it or not" "Alright" ===================================================== It took us hours to finish cleaning up the house, but none the less it was clean. I looked on the table and saw something I got long ago. The book that I borrowed The Day The Town Fell I haven't read it yet and I would like to now that I have the time to relax. I picked up the book and sat back on the couch. I opened the book to start reading, but I saw something kind of familiar the first line said "A little colt not knowing his true powers will lead to the destruction of his own town" it was like this book was based off my life. I was interested now to see how accurate this book was so something tells me i'm gonna be here all day reading this book. ====================================================== Night time came and I closed the book. Redheart looked at me and saw I was confused more or so sad. "Whats wrong?" she asked. "This....book" I said quietly. "What about it?" "Its...so...so... accurate" "What do you mean?" "Its like my life written in a book" "How is that even possible?" "I...don't know" "Well don't worry about it to much" she sat down next to me. "Redheart do you understand this book tells everything that's happened in my past" "Well do you know more then?" "No.....it only told the memories I know now.....nothing else" "Well then why be so worked up about it?" "Because...how is this conveniently what I know now, it just doesn't make any sense, its like I was meant to find this book in my life....as if its some sort of sign" We both sat silent thinking of how accurate this book was and what other sign I may get. Then there was a know at the door. "I got it" I said, I reach my hoof for the door and opened it "hello...............father" "Son I need t-" I tackled him to the ground "son wait I need to te-" "Shut your mouth old man i'm done with you" Redheart heard the commotion and came out to look "time for you to die" "WAIT SON LISTEN" "Ok ill listen, you got thirty seconds before I rip off your head from your tiny little neck" "Son I just wanted to say............i'm sorry" I looked at him shocked "wait.....what?" "I'm sorry for what I did to you it hurt me eve-" "DON'T YOU FEED ME LIES" "I'm not telling you lies I really am sorry" "If your trying to make me believe you its not going to work" "That's what you said to your brother" "B......brother" A flashback came to me that very moment. "Brother if your trying to make me believe you its not going to work" I said in anger "I'm telling the truth my young one your powers are unstoppable and your father is holding that back from you" my brother said evilly "But....why brother, why do you have to be evil, WHY DID I HAVE TO KILL YOU "It happens to be your destiny to kill me and your family" "Is that why......I destroyed my own home town of.......Whitetail city" "Yes it is and that's why you shot me with your magic causing you a tragedy" My flashback ended, I looked down at my father. "You sick bastard" I said with anger He laughed menacingly "that's what happened and its going to happen again......to her" "I WOULD NEVER HURT HER" "O but you will once your power unleashes again that's why I have to stop you" I sat in silence looking at my pitiful father wondering what should I do next if hes right I can hurt Redheart which I don't want to do. "Father" I said quietly. "Yes son?" "How....how do I die?" Epilogue: Am I deadRedheart took me to a hospital. "DOCTOR DOCTOR" she screamed. "Whats....o jeez. GET HIM TO THE I.C.U NOW" the doctor shouted ==================================================== Hours later the doctor came out to Redheart. "He's-" he was interrupted "Please tell me hes not dead" she said sadly "Would you like to see for yourself" She walked into the room I was in. The heart monitor was beeping. I turned to see her. "Hello Redheart" I said very softly She walked over to me "your going to make it right?" "No promises.......I don't feel to well" "Please you have to make it I can't live without you" "Redheart....just...be.....safe" "Crezo I-" "Shh no more I want you to live your life as happy as can be no matter if i'm gone or not" "Crezo please I don't wan-" "I said no more" I reached my hoof to her chest "ill be right here" my hoof fell straight down and the heart monitor went flat. "Crezo.....no please no" "Hes moved on Redheart" said the doctor. "No please no not Crezo anyone but him" "Hey Redheart he left you this if he passed on" Redheart took the note from his hoof and unfolded it. Hey Redheart if your reading this i'm gone now but hey nothing to worry about ill be with you always. Also I figured out my birthday it was on October tenth. Stay happy Crezo Redheart looked at a calender and saw the date was October tenth. She left the room with a note by my body saying the words Happy Birthday PrologueDo you remember? "Remember....what?" I say with a really quiet voice. Who you are? "Who..I...am....no I don't." Where your from? "Where....I'm..from...no I can't remember." You'll see soon your past will return "what...are you talking about how do you know so much about me" I said furiously. You'll find out soon enough now wake up its time. "Wait i'm not done I want to know more about me" I said a little bit angered. There is no more I can tell that is for you to find out. "WHY why do I have to obviously you know so tell me." It stayed silent nothing was talking to me I couldn't hear anything just myself. "So then i guess I'll just wake up and find out for myself." On that very note I woke up in some sort of room it was empty until I saw.....her. Chapter 10: Its what has to be doneMy father looked at me smiling like the evil man he is "so you finally see it my way" he said. "I.....do" I said depressed "Good then i kn-" "Before this happens, I gotta get one thing out at you" "What is it" "Sucker" "Wait wh-" I shot a magic blast at him pounding him into the wall "did you really think I was going to just let you kill me?" "I had a feeling it wouldn't be easy" "Well good your about to not have any feelings at all" "Just remember son" he shot me with a magic blast "I taught you everything you know I may not be as strong but I can kill you if I have to" "Bring it old man" On that note we started in a magic duel. I shot my magic blast as he shot his, we were even all that's left is to end this. "You can't stop me son, there's nothing you can do to stop me" my dad said confidently. "Your right but I want us to get out of Ponyville to make sure it stays safe" we were still clashing with magic as I made him step out of Ponyville, what I didn't know is that Redheart followed. "Son what are you doing?" "I'm going to end you and me in this process so I never have to see you again" "ARE YOU CRAZY" I laughed "Yes I am, I cause tragedy and you know that" "Looks like your memory of your brother was the one that made you snap back to yourself" "I'm still who I am father its who I always will be" "Well then lest see if you even can finish it" "You know i'm glad we'er going out this way" "O and whys that?" "Cause then I know you can't hurt my friends or my mother when your gone" "Wait what I thought you said you were going to kill us both" "Yes but not the way your thinking, REDHEART NOW" Redheart threw a rock at him disrupting his magic. My magic surrounded his body as I walked closer. "Why son?" "Because if i'm such a danger I don't want to be around" "So your going to kill me and yourself?" "YES" as I said that an explosion happened blowing up me and my father. A giant crater was in the ground now and that's where I was laying down. Redheart slid into the crater to come see me. "Crezo please don't be dead, Please don't be dead" she said with tears in her eyes. "R....Redheart" I said struggling "Crezo" "Don't grieve over me" "But Crezo your hurt your on the verge of death" "I know.....but I want you to live your life even if i'm not around, i'm sure you'll be fine" I closed my eyes in her hooves. "Crezo.......Crezo................CREZO" she screamed. She laid her head on my chest....no heartbeat.
Chapter 1: Where am I"Morning sleepy" said this female who i'm still not sure who she is. "Where am I and who are you?" I said sternly "I'm Nurse RedHeart and your in the hospital." "I'm in a hospital.....why?" "Well me and the doctor were tending to a patient with a broken wing when we saw you lying out in the middle of the road,you were passed out so we got you in here to make sure you were safe." "May I ask you something?" "What is it?" "Who...am I?" As I finished my sentence there was a moment of silence she looked confused and kinda worried she finally raised an eyebrow and said "you don't know who you are?" "No" I said "I have no idea who I am what my name is where I came from and I was kinda hoping you knew." "Weeeell" she said while sighing "I would be able to know if you remembered your name because then I could probably look up a file on you but since you don't know your name I can't really help much more than I have already" I looked down at my self and saw dark green hooves like dark green grass and suddenly a memory hit me. "Mom can we go to the park today?" I said happily "Sorry dear mom has to work" she said calmly "But moooom you always have to work" "I know sweetie but its what I have to do I'll be back later maybe we can play then" "Buuut moooom I wanna play now" "I know Crezo but mommy has to work ill be back soon you stay safe and remember what I told you to do if someone is in the house you don't know?" "Break there kneecaps with the wooden board you gave me" "That's my boy now i'll be back home later see you soon sweetie" "Bye mommy" As the memory ended I saw Nurse Redheart waving her hoof in front of my face "hey you okay?" she asked "Yeah i'm fine just had a flashback" I said "hey you said you needed my name right?" "Yes I did." "Well my name is Crezo" "O good you remember your name maybe I can find something on you now i'll be back" she darted out of the room leaving me there by myself. I waited....and waited....and waited....finally I said "Jeez how long does it take to find a file on me, I didn't think I wasn't the only pony who doesn't know me" She finally walks back in the room she looked confused and kinda sad. After a moment of silence she said "ummm well I have some bad news" she said in a quiet tone. "What is it?" I said questionably. "we can't really find.....a file on you at all" "WHAT!" "Just take it easy we don't understand either because everypony always has a file, but for some reason you don't" "Why wouldn't I?" "The only logical explanation we have is that you've never entered your self into anything for instance it seems you have no identity no medical files no nothing your unknown to society" I sat there silent wondering how would I not have been entered into well anything it didn't make any sense. Then suddenly it hit me "Redheart is it possible to have anyone and I mean anyone get those files?" she looked at me confused "well yeah if they want to do it illegally and get arrested" "hm well looks like I got nothing on myself do you mind if I get some fresh air" "As long as your healthy then yeah I don't mind, do you have a place to live?" "I don't know" "Eh should of guessed huh" she said mockingly "don't worry about it here ill give you my address you can live with me for a little bit until you get a job and a house of your own" "Are you sure I don't want to intrude on anything" "Don't worry about its the least I can do also i want to learn more about you i'm kinda interested" She handed me a piece of paper with her address on it. So I get to live with a nurse that's interesting to say the least. Well hopefully we'll get to know each other better, more importantly where do i start...to get to know my self better.
Chapter 2: A new world to meAs I left through the hospital doors I saw the town everypony seemed happy nothing to out of the ordinary I think I can get used to this nice peaceful town. I walked down the road looking at a variety of shops food,couches,supplies, pretty much anything you'll ever need. This all was peaceful to me for some reason I don't remember living a peaceful life where I came from was always loud but i'm not sure what that place is. Then i realized something...where am I going. "umm yeah I need to find someone for directions" I said "O hey pink pony excuse me." She looked at me as if concentrating trying to figure out something. "Umm do you mind like giv..." i was cut off by her gasping and zipping off into nowhere "Well okay then" I said confused. I was looking around for some other pony to at least explain the town i'm in "wait what am I doing I can just ask Redheart i'm sure she'll tell me what I need to know" I said feeling like an idiot just about so I started looking for Redhearts house and on my luck it was just around the corner. "alright lets get inside and.....its locked right she hasn't given me a key to the house nor will she probably trust me with one yet well i guess I wait here till she comes home can't be to long for that" O boy was I wrong. ================================================================== A few hours later i'm just sleeping on Redheart's porch until of course I get woken up. "Hey sleepy wake up" a girl voice said to me "HUH...wha, who, where, when, o Redheart hey" I said while yawning "Why were you sleeping on my porch?" "Well the doors locked and I don't know this town at all so I just waited for you to come home must of passed out what time is it" "Its midnight" I sat silent for a second "what" "Its midnight I usually work to midnight on the week and on weekends I work till ten unless of course i have a day off" "Heh your a busy girl...anyways can we go inside its starting to get cold" "O yes of course" She opened the door and we both walked in I was actually surprised to see the inside of her house hardly any decorations no photos of parents no plants just the basic stuff a couch, a t.v, a dining table, and kitchen appliances nothing to out of the ordinary. "Hey Redheart why don't you have any photos of family or friends.....or even animals?" I said. "I'd rather not talk about it" she said looking down. "O sorry I di...." "No no its fine you didn't know" "Okay um where do I sleep" "Well I hope you don't mind but all I got for you right now is the couch I only have one room and that's where I sleep" "eh no worries I've probably been though worse" "I'll go grab you a blanket and a pillow" she walked into another room I sat down on the couch and good lord was it comfortable. "Wow Redheart this couch is amazing" I said excited "Yeah I know I usually sleep there when i'm really tired because its so soft even softer then my own bed witch is weird" We both chuckled as she handed me a pillow and a blanket "Thank you" I said "Eh don't worry about it" she said stretching "No I mean thank you for everything you've done for me taking me into the hospital, bringing me into your home till I get back on my hooves.....for some reason I don't feel like anyone has been this nice to me" "O well yeah its what I do please other ponies cause i'm just that kinda pony, now you get some sleep" "Same goes for you" We chuckled once more as she went off to her room I was really happy for what shes done for me. I lied down and closed my eyes and with a smile I drifted off to sleep.
Chapter 3: How did I do itI woke up but not in the house in the middle of some sort of....war ground. I had no idea what was going on but there was no pony around just me in silence nothing to talk to. I got up from where I was lying and looked around buildings were destroyed ,ponies bodies all over the place as if the world ended and i was the only one left alive. As I looked around some more I found a picture of me and my mom but there was a piece missing from the photo. You are gaining more of your past. "O great you again what do you want and what is this place" I yelled. This place used to be your home "My...my home?" Yes destroyed by one person "Who destroyed it?" You did After that I woke up so fast poring in sweat wondering how did I do it. I looked around it was quiet no pony around. I looked at the table beside me there was a note on it from Redheart. Hey morning hope you slept well sorry i'm not home I had to go to work early due to a missing nurse. I heard you were having problems in town yesterday from a certain pink pony so I left a map of Ponyville for you. Enjoy the rest of your day. O and if your hungry help your self to the food in the kitchen. sincerely Redheart I picked up the map and saw everything i'll need the hospital, sugar cube corner, the library, sweet apple acres, and even the market place I was in yesterday. However I didn't really care for this right what I cared for was how I did what I did in my dream. I thought....and thought.....and thought then yelled "HOW DID I DO IT" I punched a hoof on the wall when I said that luckily she didn't have any breakables on the wall. I was furious I just couldn't explain to myself how I did it "how did I destroy that whole town how did I do it" I said confused but then looked up and saw a horn "wait i'm a unicorn" just then I had another flashback. "You'll do good son just try and pass don't think about failing" a man said "Yeah I know dad but magic is hard" I say sadly "Don't worry son you'll get the hang of it just remember all the lessons I taught and you should be fine" "Okay dad ill try" The memory ended with me hugging my father "is it possible my magic destroyed that town is my magic that strong" I pondered to myself for hours thinking all day not knowing what time it is. Then suddenly the door opens on instinct I grab a wooden board. "Who's there" I asked "Its....me um why do you have a wooden board in your hoof?" asked Redheart she seemed a little down about something almost on the verge of tears. "Sorry instinct what's the matter you look like your about to cry" "Its nothing I just had a bad day at work is all" "What happened?" "S....Som......Somepony died today" she said as she ran over to me and hugged me. "Yeah that happens I know" I said returning the hug. "No you don't understand" "What do you mean?" "The pony who died.......was my father"
Chapter 4: Tragedy strikes"Your.....your father?" I said concerned "Yes" she said while crying "I...i'm so sorry I didn't......I wasn't.....I ju-" she stuck her hoof up by my mouth "Don't worry about it its just me and my father had a falling out then he shows up at the hospital like hes been through some sort of war he was so badly damaged I highly doubt he even knew I worked there" "Through some....war?" "Yeah why is there a problem with what I said" she said a little bit snippy "No its just....I had a dream where I was in a place and this place happened to be where I lived but destroyed and it looked like it went through some sort of war, coincidence?" "Huh strange" she finally stepped back and wiped the tears from her eyes "i'm sorry I did that its just he was the only family I had in Ponyville and its just so....so tragic to loose something like that I just couldn't take it after he left me I just wanted to make things right and..and I just wan-" this time I cut her off "Don't think about it much more then you have to, you'll just grieve over it more. Now how bout you get some sleep k?" "Yeah....yeah your right ill deal with it tomorrow, you know you can be a really nice guy sometimes" "Eh I try to be you know i'm just that kinda pony" She chuckled "hey I said that" "I know just had to make you smile, now you get some sleep" "Thanks for being so nice to me, I can't believe I let a stranger into my house and he becomes such a good friend" she hugs me again as I hugged her back. I really felt I accomplished something I've never done before Its weird I have feelings that I've never done anything good. ======================================================================== Morning came and no dreams for me it seems I get a day off from all this nonsense that's been happening, suddenly I smell something cooking. "Redheart you still home?" I asked "Yeah I called in sick" she said from the kitchen "I just can't work today the doctor understands so i'm making you and me some breakfast" "Okay, what ya making?" "Just some hay bacon and some toast" "Well it smells nice" "Yeah I know" After she got the food to the table we started eating, it tasted amazing unspeakable goodness "Dang girl this stuff is amazing why weren't you a professional cook instead" I said with enthusiasm. "Heh heh I get told i'm a good cook a lot" she said "I do what everypony else does" "Well somehow you manage to do it better" she started blushing "O stop it its just ordinary food" "Hey i'm just trying to make you happy" "You did good, hey may I ask you something?" "Of course what is it?" "Do you mind....walking....with me today?" I froze for a second then responded "what do you mean?" "Like just around town I gotta return some books to the library and I want someone to talk to" "Yeah of course, I don't mind were friends after all" After our meal I cleaned the dishes for her for being such an awesome cook really though shes good. =========================================================================== A few moments later we were at the library she was returning some books and I was browsing while she did so. I saw some good books but nothing really caught my eye until I saw one labeled The Day The Town Fell It seemed interesting so I picked it up. "Found a book I see" said a purple unicorn "Yeah I did do you mind if I borrow it?" I said "Go ahead I've read it a million times, names Twilight Sparkle by the way" she raised a hoof "Crezo" I said as I shook her hoof "You seem new has Pinkie seen you yet?" "Uh if you mean a pink pony with three balloons on her flank the yes I have" "O boy are you in for a surprise" I raised an eyebrow "what do you mean?" "You'll see" she said walking away. I was confused but none the less I have a book to read now. Redheart and I left the library and walked around town silent while background ponies talked and talked. I looked over to Redheart who hasn't said much to me or anypony for that matter. I finally work the courage and asked "hey you alright you haven't said very much?" "Yeah" she said in a quiet tone. "Okay just remember if you need to get anything off your chest i'm right here" "Yeah I know" "Okay stop" "What is it" "We can't just have some partypooper walking around come on cheer up, have some fun, I understand your father died but if you keep grieving over it your never gonna be happy again" "Your right.....your right, man how do you know just what to say?" "Like I said i'm that kinda pony" We crossed into an ally way for a quicker way back home. As we made it home everything was quiet to quiet but we really didn't even notice. We walked in the home silent for a second "Glad to be home" Redheart said. "Hey your smiling" I said mockingly "Yeah cause I have a good friend" "Heh heh I try to be a good fri-" "CREZO BEH-" Before she could finish her sentence I was out cold that last thing I heard was the both of us hitting the ground.
Chapter 5: The long way homeI finally woke up rubbing the back of my head but not at Redheart's home no in some sort of stone building or room not sure, but something tells me were moving. I look over to Redheart who's still out cold "looks like its up to me for now" I said quietly. What I didn't know is where to start. I looked around the room frantically but nothing no doors, no windows, no nothing just some holes in the roof. I had no idea what to do at this point "eh might as well wake her up" I said "Redheart Redheart wake up" "Huh what" she said shaking her head "You all right?" "Yeah where are we?" "I'll be honest I have absolutely no idea" "Well that's great" she said kinda rudely "Just relax there's gotta be someway out of here" "What about the holes in the roof?" "To high up" I sat down thinking not saying a word at all Redheart just looked at me thinking I was having another flashback. "Hey Crezo" she said "Yeah?" "Can I ask you something?" "Sure what is it?" "What's with your cutie mark I've never seen anything like it" "I have a cutie mark?" I looked at my self and saw a white sad face it looked familiar. Then suddenly flashback. "No one has ever had this before" a scientist said "I understand can you at least explain what it means?" said my father "Not really not everypony has a tragedy mask as a cutie mark" "WELL I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT MEANS SO I CAN HAVE MY SON BACK" my father yelled The flashback ended I looked over to Redheart and said "the mark stands for tragedy. I don't know what my talent is, but I have that mark and that's what it means" "O my so maybe it means you.....cause tragedy" she said in a scared tone "Don't be afraid of it I don't think that's it. It could be acting skills maybe" "True, okay back to getting out of here" "Right um" I sat silent once more looked around but there's nothing in sight that I can see to use. "I have an idea" I said she looked at me "what is it?" "I can levitate you up to the ceiling and you can tell me what you see" "Is your magic that strong?" "I hope so, do you trust me?" she paused for a second to think "of course I do" I get another feeling as if someone has never said that to me "alright then i'll levitate you up" I used my magic to levitate her and it seems I was having no problems with it at all as if she was just a feather. "What do you see?" I asked "Eh I see a bunch of clouds but were moving I can tell you that much" she said "O wait I see Rainbow Dash" "Who?" "Not important right now levitate me something to throw" "Uh here a rock should do" I levitated her the rock. "Alright just one good throw" she threw the rock I was hoping for succession "yes got her attention, RAINBOW DOWN HERE" "Careful don't yell to much" "Shes coming shes coming" she said clapping "Yo whats going on" said Rainbow "O rainbow thank goodness you gotta get us outta here" "Whoa nurse take it easy I got this just let me se-" "HEY STOP HER" some voice said. "O shoot" Rainbow took off "I'LL TELL MY FRIENDS GUYS DON'T WORRY" "Well good effort" I said while levitating her down. "Yeah...thanks" she said softly. "Hey don't worry were gonna get out of here I promise" ===================================================================== The thing were in stopped as if dropped somewhere we saw a wall open "o a camouflage door, clever" I said. We walked out into an even bigger room nothing to see nothing to hear. I looked around to see if there was an exit but didn't find anything. "Well looks like this is gonna be hard" I said "any ideas?" "I got nothing" she said "Rainbow did say she was gonna tell her friends so my idea would be just to wait" "Well we gotta try something cause they probably don't even know where we are" "I know but what can we do" as she said that I had another flashback. "Your son sir has a substantial amount of magic power he can pretty much break anything" the scientist said "That's great and all but whats with the cutie mark I want to know" my dad said angered "Its simple really with his magic being so strong he can cause tragedy thus explaining the mark" "Are you saying my son is a danger to society? cause if so you better hope he can control it or you'll be his first victim" The flashback ended I looked down at my hooves wondering how could I of everyone have this much magic power it didn't make sense. Redheart looked at me "hey you okay Crezo?" "Yeah......i'm fine" I said in a depressing tone "You don't sound li-" "You were right" I interrupted her "you were right about me I cause tragedy that's my talent" "Wha.....what?" "In this flashback I just had my magic is so strong it cause tragedy and apparently someone wanted me to forget about it so I wouldn't find it out, but its to late now I know what I am and i'm........getting us out of here" "Well how are you go-" Before she could even finish her sentence I blasted a magic blast making a huge hole in the wall "that's how" I said "THERE ESCAPING STOP THEM" a guard shouted "Crezo" Redheart said concerned I started laughing menacingly "you want some guards bring it on" Redheart looked at me confused and scared. All the guards charged in at once "YOU'LL NEVER HURT ME OR HER SO.....LEAVE....US....ALONE" on that last note I let out some sort of shock wave pushing all of the guards back. most were dead, some heavily injured, some scared for there lives "now were gonna walk out of here and your gon-" Redheart tackled me. "Crezo snap out of it" she screamed "Snap out of what this is who I am this is what I become you can-" she slapped me "Redheart I-" "Crezo please your not like this you can be better. Just cause your cutie mark tells you that's your talent doesn't mean you have to listen to it. Go back to who you were a nice guy the guy I knew the guy.......I loved."
Chapter 6: The journey back"You...love me?" I asked "Yes" she said "I don't know what it was, but you were being so nice I just couldn't help myself my feelings just made me love you" We both sat silent I returned to my senses everything was calm. "I'm sorry" I said "Don't wo-" I interrupted "No i'm sorry for what I just did a flashback just made me snap into what I was instead of staying who I am" She stepped off of me and I stood up "however i'm finding out where we are" I walked over to one of the guards that brought us here. "Where are we?" I asked him "I'll never tell you" he said. "You sure about that do you not see what I did to your friends. As far as your concerned I could do it to you to so tell me where we are" "Fine, your far from Ponyville, Canterlot, even Manehattan" "Is that so then where do we walk to get back?" "Down that road leads you back" he said pointing "but its not the easiest travel nor safest" "Safety is not a matter to me right now. One more thing, who sent you?" "That i'm not telling" "Tell me now before you become one of your friends" "No matter how much you try to scare me I wont tell you" "Hm very well" I hit him in his neck, he fell to the ground unconscious "Let's go Redheart" "Okay" she said. We started walking down the road nopony in sight no towns in sight just trees and clouds. As we walked I looked over to Redheart who was keeping her distance from me. "Your still scared?" "Yeah" she said softly "I understand if after all this you never wanna see me again after what I did back there. I'll gladly leave your life if you so wish" She stood silent thinking of what to say "I don't want you to leave" "What, not even after that stunt back there you still want me here?" "Yes like I said when we first met I want to know more about you and i'm not gonna let that slip away just because you pulled off some outstanding powers that I've never seen before" I smiled "well that's great. I really thought you would never wanna see me again" the sun went behind a hill "well we better find some shelter" "Where we're in the middle of some sort of forest" "Hey let's just make one we gotta get some rest or were never gonna make it home" We went between some trees to start making a shelter in the woods. I grabbed some firewood and some rocks while she sat down to rest. I put the sticks and wood in the circle of rocks I made and stared grinding rocks together to make fire. "Come on fire" I said "You should really find flint" she said. "Where am I gonna find flint out in the mid-" she held out a piece of flint to me "how long have you had that?" "It was right by where I was sitting" she smiled, I facehoofed "Anyways" I used flint and a piece of rock and got sparks to start a fire "There we got fire, now i'm gonna grab some branches to make a shelter" I used my magic to break some branches of the trees. I made a nice shelter out of branches and leaves. "Lets hope this holds" "Yeah lets" she said "Ladies first" I said jokingly. "Well thank you my gentlemen" she said jokingly We both chuckled and got in the shelter "you know Redheart after all this time you have been nice to me as well" "What do you mean?" she said "Well you brought me into your house, you got me all fixed up from being passed out, and you don't even care that I scare the daylights out of you, you still wanna be my friend and it makes me happy" "Its what i'm not so known for" "And whats that?" I asked "Being so....forgiving" she scooted closer to me but I wasn't paying attention. "I see you like that" I said smiling. She looked at me smiling "you know what I said back there?" "That you loved me" "Yeah that, I hope it didn't effect anything about us" "Of course not we're still who we are" "Can I ask you something?" I was ready for a certain question Do you love me to Is what I thought she would say so here goes. "What is it?" I ask "Can we....stay close together its getting cold" "Oh.....yeah of course" I said kinda confused "Did I say something wrong?" "No no just, you asked me something different then what I was expecting" "No its just cold it doesn't mean anything I swear" "Its fine I understand" she moved in closer to me the point where we were touching. She started to hug me but I didn't mind I just wanted to go home. We both drifted off to sleep and I started dreaming once again. That's for you t- "NO I know you know so tell me where did I come from NOW" I cannot i'm sorry "And why can't you?" Because your father told me not to I woke up at that moment seeing the sun in the sky and Redheart right in my face. "Redheart" I said "Mmm what" she said barley opening her eyes. "Ahem look down" She looked down "O....my" "Care to explain why your on top of me?" "Its not what you think I swear" "Hey hey take it easy I know nothing happened, but do you mind getting off?" "O yeah sorry" We both got up and looked around "looks like were safe lets get a move on" I said. "Wish we had some food right now" she said while her stomach growled. "Once we get home trust me i'm gonna eat everything in your fridge then buy more food to restock it then eat that as well" we both chuckled and on that note we made our way down the path to get home faster. We still haven't seen anypony and we were kinda hoping to see Rainbow again but she never came back to us. We soon ended up at a split path. "O great" she said "now what?" "Maybe I should of asked that guy for a map" I said feeling like an idiot "I say we go left" "And whys that?" "Gut feeling" "Alright i'm trusting your gut then" We went down the left path not knowing what is gonna be ahead. The day suddenly got darker. "Maybe I was wrong" she said "We should turn back" "No" I said "He said its not the safest path so we might have to take this to go back and plus i'm right here if anything happens ill stop it" "Okay now i'm trusting you" We walked deeper into the dark forest following the path in front of us not stopping for a minute. "Well it seems safe so far" I said. "Yeah I guess" "Its actually kinda peaceful I really expe-" my words were cut off by a loud sound "What was that?" I asked "I-I don't know" she said worried. "Well lets keep on GAAAAH" the floor broke from under us. "O GOD WERE GONNA DIE" Redheart screamed in fear "JUST CALM DOWN" I levitated her to me "Listen I have an Idea but its not the safest" I started moving broken pieces under us making a stable floor "hold on tight" I said. We landed on the floor I made safely "well that works now time to get us ou- um I cant levitate it up" "Come on Crezo don't mess with me" "I'm not I really can't go up. O boy this is gonna hurt um BRACE FOR IMPACT" We hit solid ground hard breaking what I made "ow" I said getting up. "Redheart you okay? Redheart..............Redheart?" I looked around but couldn't see her "REDHEART" I yelled. "Crezo" she said softly I turned to look and somepony had a sharp blade to her neck. However this was no ordinary somepony it.....was my dad.
Chapter 7: My own Family"D-dad!" I was surely surprised "O so my son still lives" he said "I thought you would of never known me" "Whats that supposed to mean?" "I'm the one who wiped your memory" "What. why, why would you do that?" "I wanted you to be safe" "SAFE MY FLANK" "Just take it e-" "No father just.....no.....let her go now or as you said to that scientist you'll be my first victim" "You'll just hurt her I was getting her out of the way of you" "shut up" "Its true to you are the master of tragedy" "shut up" "And what you did back at that camp I wouldn't be surprised if you hurt her to" "SHUT UP" "O is my son angry because I had him captured" "I SAID SHUT UP that's enough from you" "Well if that's the case the girl dies now and there's noth-hnng" I levitated the knife away from Redheart and put him to a wall. "I'm shocked father you wanted me back now you want to make my life a living hell WHY!?" "I'm trying to save you son your power will return and ruin everything just like when you ruined your own home" "I......I don't care, I want to never EVER see you again and I swear if I do I will end you" "Your powers are unstable son you can't control them" "So you made me forget them I get it, ill find a way to control them and I kind of already have since I haven't destroyed more then a little camp" "I know but there's a memory you don't want which will make you snap and destroy Ponyville unless your stopped" I was silent thinking to myself wondering what to do if my fathers right I have to stop myself but if I can control my powers why listen to him. Finally I say "No father I will live my life, I will control my powers and there's nothing you can do about it" "But son if you just li-" I interrupted "I'm done with you now how do we get out of here?" "But son I ju-" "ENOUGH how do we get out!?" My father sighs "through that tunnel over there takes you straight to the surface" "Thanks you now one more question, why are you down here?" "I set a trap for you and her I had to stop you but it seems I can not" "That's all I need" I dropped him to the ground "now I never want to see you again please just......go" "Son I ju-" "GO" I shouted at him. He stood up and walked away. I felt Redheart looking at me, I turned to her, she was frightened of what I just did to my own father. "I'm....sorry, I just couldn't stand you getting hurt" I said sadly. She started walking toward me "Its okay I wasn't scared of what you did" "What?" "I was scared of your father trying to kill me. but you saved me and i'm thankful for that" she wrapped her hooves around me. I was actually shocked its like she was never scared of what I've done. I hugged her back though I felt water on my shoulder. "Are you crying?" I asked, She nodded "why are you crying?" "Cause i'm....happy you saved me" she looked at me in the eyes "I was so scared Crezo I knew you would do something to stop him and I thank you for it" she started to lean back to my shoulder but I stopped her and looked into her eyes. "Your welcome Redheart" as I said that we kissed under the light. It was a pretty long kiss and I gotta say shes not bad. She hugged me tighter now and I hugged her as well, but the moment got broken by a familiar voice. "There you guys are" said Rainbow "Where have you been" I said "Getting my friends, some of them are earthponies and unicorns, they had to run this whole thing so give me a break" "Yall need some help down there" an orange pony said "Uh yeah we do" I said "Well here's a rope" a rope came swinging down in front of us. I grabbed on holding Redheart. "Alright everypony pull hard" said Twilight, they pulled hard enough that we got to the top fast out of this trap that my father set for us. "Why didn't we follow your father?" asked Redheart. "Because I don't want to follow him down that path as far as I know it could of been trap" I said. We both stood up and started walking down the path to get home hoping no more problems will come up. "Okay before we continue" I said "I know two out of the five that are here so introducing party time" "I'm Rarity darling" she said "Applejack partner" the orange one said "I'm.....Fluttershy" the yellow Pegasus said "Good now I know you all, now tell me you guys have a fast way back" I said "Were all ready here" said twilight "Um how exactly?" "Well you guys weren't to far off from Ponyville you were just at the end of the Everfree Forest" "I thought that looked familiar" said Redheart "Well at least we'er home" I said walking to Redhearts house "and no more surpr-" "SURPRISE" said a familiar pink pony.
Chapter 8: No surprises would of been nice"I was hoping for no more surprises" I said "why wouldn't you want a surprise there soooooOOOOooo funerific" Pinkie said "I think I've had enough for one day" "O come on Crezo" said Redheart "its a party might be nice after what we went through" "Yeah I guess so, but whats this party about?" I asked "Its about you silly billy for moving into Ponyville" said Pinkie "For me? huh well that's weird I've never would of expected this Pinkie" Suddenly I got a flashback. "Mommy daddy its my birthday" I said 'Yes it is champ" my dad said "Happy birthday son" my mom said They went back to there conversation. My flashback went through ever birthday I've had but not a single party. I had no idea my life was so boring I still don't know where I came from but I would like to know. "Hey Crezo wake up" said Redheart "you okay?" "Yeah just another flashback to my party less life" I said "YOU NEVER HAD A PARTY FOR YOURSELF" she said in shock "Nope not a single one for my birthday or anything" "That's so sad your partying tonight like it or not" "I'm done for tonight I just wanna sleep" "O no you don't" she grabbed me by the hoof "your gonna either dance with me and party or you gonna at least stay out here and enjoy yourself" I looked at her in the eyes I could tell she wasn't telling a lie. "Alright, but suddenly I remember being a good dancer" I said with a smirk. "O is that so prove it to me then" "Your on nurse" I said all smug =========================================================== After the party witch took til midnight, Redheart and I were both sitting on the couch breathing heavily for we were out of breath. "Well.....you wanted me to prove that I can dance" I said out of breath "You proved it all right I didn't know you could actually dance I thought you were kidding" she said "Heh heh yeah, all right lets get some sleep I don't know about you, but i'm tired" "Yeah.....can I ask you something?" "yes you can, what is it?" "Can....you sleep....with me tonight?" My head turned her way so fast I thought my brain was gonna fall out of my ear. "What?" "Will you sleep with me tonight?" "Just sleep?" "Yes" I sat silent for a second thinking "You don't have to i'm just asking" she said "Yes" "What?" "Yes I will sleep with you, its what we did in the little shelter that started this isn't" "Yes it was fun to sleep by somepony, I usually sleep alone for I have no pony come over to stay the night" "I thought it was fun to but this time your not gonna be on top of me right?" "No I promise that wont happen again" "Alright then" as we made our way to her room she stopped for a second. "What is it?" "Uh can you give me a second I gotta put something away in my room first" she said wile sweating "Um sure" she darted in the room fast enough so I couldn't see what was inside. I waited patiently I heard her moving something around but I wasn't to sure what it was. "You alright in there?" I asked through the door. "Yeah hng fine" she said struggling to put something away. "Doesn't sound like it" "No no i'm fine just putting something on a top shelf that's all" "I have magic you know I can help you" "No its fine" I was starting to get curious what she was trying to hide was it something I really shouldn't know about. "Okay you can come in now" she said, I walked in the room and like the house nothing on the walls just a lamp and a table by the bed, a dresser, and a closet that's locked shut. "So what were you trying to put away?" I asked "Just some pri-I mean um a heavy box that's all" she said nervously. "Alright then i'm just gonna get some sleep and ignore what happened in here k.....k" We both climbed in the bed she put the covers on both of us for I was already asleep and wouldn't you guess it dreaming. "I'm here again?" Yes you are and you've done well "I know who you are now step out and face me" As you wish A figure stepped out of the shadows and who would of thought I was right. "I had a feeling it was you all along......mother"
Chapter 9: An unexpected guest"How long?" I asked. "How long what?" my mother asked me. "How long were you gonna hold back and not tell me this whole time it was you in my dreams?" "I was hoping you would find out sooner so I could tell you sooner" "Hm, alright new question why not tell me everything about me why make my father hold you back?" "He had me threatened Crezo I couldn't do anything to help you or else he would of killed me" "TO HIS OWN WIFE WHY WOULD HE DO THAT WHAT HAPPENED TO DAD!!?" "He became corrupt with power and lost his mind" "O so that's why he tried to kill Redheart" "Yes exactly and he was trying to kill you to in the process" "Can he be fixed?" "No" "Will I see him again?" "Yes" "Will he try to kill me again?" "Yes and everypony you know" "I have to kill him first don't I" "Yes" "Now your being straight with me why not before, why not tell me you were the one telling me what to do, how do you know everything that's going to happen, why don't you te-" she put her hoof by my mouth. "Like I've said before the answers will come to you" "BUT WHY NOT JUST TELL ME!" "Because they will come to you either way and its easier for them to come to you instead of them being forced into you" "Alright fine ill wait then is it morning yet I want to wake up" "It is morning before you wake up though" "What is it?" "Keep this Redheart girl close shes your type" "Mooom" I said like a 5 year old as she chuckled. I woke up actually confused was my mom right, how does she know all of this, why doesn't she just tell me what I need to do, and Redheart is hugging me. I looked over she was smiling happy as can be I couldn't disrupt this, it was just nice to see. Her eyes slowly opened and she realized what she was doing but she didn't care she just kept on hugging me. "Morning Redheart" I said "Yeah morning" she said quietly "Your still-" "I know I am" "Are we gonna get up soon?" "Yeah yeah just...let me lay here for a second" "Alright" we laid in bed for about ten minutes before she finally got up. "Sorry bought that just you know been rough" she said. "I understand completely" I said in agreement We went out to the kitchen and she started making breakfast "you better be making a feast" I said jokingly. "Trust me I could eat whole field of hay right now" she said as we both chuckled. She sat down my food in front of me and I can't tell you how heavenly it looked, its like I got a gift from the heaves I was so hungry. After we ate our meal we sat back on the couch and I thought FOOD WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN. "That was really good Redheart" I said satisfied "I surprised myself this time" she said "man I was so hungry. Hey I just realized something" "What is it?" "My house is a mess" the house was torn apart. "Looks like we didn't clean up last night" I said nervously. "Yeah no worries ill clean this up" "Not alone i'm going to help you like it or not" "Alright" ===================================================== It took us hours to finish cleaning up the house, but none the less it was clean. I looked on the table and saw something I got long ago. The book that I borrowed The Day The Town Fell I haven't read it yet and I would like to now that I have the time to relax. I picked up the book and sat back on the couch. I opened the book to start reading, but I saw something kind of familiar the first line said "A little colt not knowing his true powers will lead to the destruction of his own town" it was like this book was based off my life. I was interested now to see how accurate this book was so something tells me i'm gonna be here all day reading this book. ====================================================== Night time came and I closed the book. Redheart looked at me and saw I was confused more or so sad. "Whats wrong?" she asked. "This....book" I said quietly. "What about it?" "Its...so...so... accurate" "What do you mean?" "Its like my life written in a book" "How is that even possible?" "I...don't know" "Well don't worry about it to much" she sat down next to me. "Redheart do you understand this book tells everything that's happened in my past" "Well do you know more then?" "No.....it only told the memories I know now.....nothing else" "Well then why be so worked up about it?" "Because...how is this conveniently what I know now, it just doesn't make any sense, its like I was meant to find this book in my life....as if its some sort of sign" We both sat silent thinking of how accurate this book was and what other sign I may get. Then there was a know at the door. "I got it" I said, I reach my hoof for the door and opened it "hello...............father" "Son I need t-" I tackled him to the ground "son wait I need to te-" "Shut your mouth old man i'm done with you" Redheart heard the commotion and came out to look "time for you to die" "WAIT SON LISTEN" "Ok ill listen, you got thirty seconds before I rip off your head from your tiny little neck" "Son I just wanted to say............i'm sorry" I looked at him shocked "wait.....what?"
