Reign of Fire: Equestria

Leviathan made his way to the library at the center of town walking through the town he thought back to Dark Moon she was at the doctors getting an ultra sound done its been around 3 and a half months sense they found out and after talking to multiple ponies he learned that the average time for a ponie verys. He had learned that Earth ponies are born within five months, unicorns takes around five and a half months while pegasus take six and a half months sighing he and Dark Moon were expecting the child soon from what the doctors said there child would be born in six months. Looking up he sighed the doctor hasn't said anything about the child.

Opening the door to the tree house he saw Twilight Sparkle standing in the middle of everything holding a letter from the princess frowning she said "Leviathan the princess wants you to check out a mountain range on the edge of the Ever free forest."

"Why ?" Leviathan asked picking up the scroll and reading over it slowly.

"Well she says a base has gone quiet and she doesn't know why only that its been a month sense they last reported in and all communication has been stopped."

"I see but why send me and not her own soldiers ?"

"Well Leviathan you've proven that your powerful and capable of taking control of certain scenarios."

"I see but from what i can tell this is around a good seven day flight there and back."

"Yes i know you want to be with Dark Moon but this base is the only thing keeping the Bat empire from having an upperhand if they start a war."

"Okay but this flight it will take to much time !!!" he snarled moving forward getting eye level with Twilight glaring at her backing away she used the one thing that would get him to go "What about Dark Moon and the child we know that the king is after her and if we lose the base she will be in danger along with your child." sighing knowing he had been beat Leviathan turned and began to walk to the door stoping he turned to Twilight and said "For the time i have been here i have met many ponies and so far there are only two i trust Twilight you and Dark Moon so i ask this of you please protect my mate."

"I will Leviathan with my life if i have to."

"Good because if anything were to happen to her you would be my next dinner."

With that Leviathan shut the door and left leaving Twilght to digest those words picking up a phone she called Dark Moon "Hey do you mind if i stay at your house for a little ?.......Why oh nothing just wanted ot help you with anything i could.................what no it...........yeah.......okay................so you understand ?...................thanks i'll be over there in a minute." shuting the phone Twilight sighed happy that Dark Moon understood her situation with her mate.

(Seven and a half days)

Landing a mile outside of the base Leviathan was asked to scout he used his vision to spy on it it looked unharmed from the outside no fire, no sturctural damage, vehicles left in the parking lots un moved, but from what he could tell everything was locked down sniffing the air he smelt nothing which disturbed the great predator most. Flapping his wings Leviathan took off into the air gliding down to the base landing outside he began to explore the outside looking for a way in everything was sealed shut the windows shudders were down and sealed the doors sealed shut after a few minutes of searching he found a door that seemed loosest out of all of them forcing it open Leviathan began he exploration.

(4 hours later)

Walking up to a console Leviathan sent a transmission asking Celestia to send renforcements for the base sense everyone had disappeared he got back a message saying it would take one or two days to get the guards assembled to replace those before him. Looking over the maps after recieving the message Leviathan saw a sub basment below the base that was the size of Ponyville rubbing his chin he decided to go and check it out walking down toward the stair case Leviathan looked around once more before descending the stairs. Moving along the stairs Leviathan began to see damage bullet holes, blood stains, drag marks but the most disturbing thing was walking past all this damage there was not a single body only damage and blood no limbs, clothes, or bodies even the weapons were gone as if what ever happend here was a prank if not for the blood.

Walking up to a set of massive steel doors walking up he punched in a code on a key pad next to the door the door hissed open walking throgh Leviathan felt a cool air hit him. Stepping into the room the floor felt soft looking down he saw a black material picking it up it felt sticky and wet looking it over it was organic and had no markings that showed it could be clothes or a piece of one of the pony guards. Dropping it to the floor it mad a wet smack walking forward he looked to the walls the looked the same as the thing he picked up but sculpted sniffing the air he couldn't smell anything growling he pushed forward until he came to a massive 'cavern' sitting in the middle of it was a giant monster (Imagnine the Xenomorph queen from aliens) stopping he looked around to see guards strewn up along the walls pinned up most dead other on the edge growling he began to move towards the beast.

Leviathan felt something slam into his chest sending him fly backwards into the wall falling to the wall he caught his breathe looking up he saw the creature standing up taking up a defensive stance pushing himself up Leviathan got ready for a fight. Rushing forward the beast tackled Leviathan with its massive head pushing him back into the wall while it clawed at him blindly dodging the attacks as best as he could Leviathan punched the creature head cracking the exoskeleton skull screeching in pain it reared back taking the chance Leviathan swung around hitting the creature with his tail sending it crashing onto its back flailing about it screamed out turning he saw a rifle (Pulse Rifle from Aliens) picking up the weapon he check the ammo 56 rounds pointing it at the beast he opened up on it emptying the clip into the massive thing pocket of green blood dripped onto the groudn causing it to hiss.

This thing was like what he had fought back in ashland but bigger and probably the final product which meant taking a deep breathe Leviathan lit the entire roome ablaze burning everything turning Leviathan ran making his way to the door hitting a few codes he sealed every know and unknown way in and out of the room shut taking a deep breathe he allowed himself to relax.
