When will they come?
Applejack was waiting, as she did at this time every year, for her mom and dad to come by. Every year she came to that spot where they swore to return to, and every year her parents did not appear. Her parents had left when Applebloom was just a filly, leaving them on the shoulders of granny smith. She hoped this time would be different, but knew it was in vain. Then apple bloom came along and said “ya know that you're just making things worse for yourself applejack.” Applejack replied “I know Applebloom, Its just that I need some hope of them returning. And this place, and this time are the only things left.” then Applebloom sight “suit yourself applejack” and walked away.
But Applebloom had a idea. She walked to twilight's library and knocked at the door. Twilight opened the door, ruffling her new wings while doing so and said “Hi Applebloom, what can I do for you?” to which Applebloom replied “Can you use your magic to find someone?” “possibly” said twilight with a small smile “who do you want to find?” “my parents.” Twilight just  looked confused and asked “Don't you know where your parents are?” “no, and its getting to apple jack. Ya see, our parents promised her that they would come back to a certain tree at a certain time to see us, but they never have.” A look of pity went across Twilights face, to turn into a look of determination. “ Don't worry Applebloom, I’ll find a spell to find your parents.” then she darted to the library and started to tear through the books like a chainsaw.
Before long, she found a finding spell. “here it is, now this is a special spell, and to use it, I need just one thing” “what?” said Applebloom excitedly “Something that was close to them, anything that they were in contact with at least once a week for a year.” “Granny Smith still has some of mom's old earrings.” Perfect, now I just need them and we will find your parents.” “right away, twilight.” Applebloom had a hard time explaining to granny smith what she needed the earrings for, but after she did, granny gave them over joyfully saying “ To have ya ma and pa back would be wonderful, just be careful with the earrings now.”
After she got back to Twilights house, it was nearly dark. Applebloom knocked on the door, which was promptly opened by Twilight. “did you get the earrings?”  “yes” “then lets begin.” They walked inside and twilight drew a circle on the floor for her parents to appear in, then began the spell. An aura appears around her horn and around the earrings and then, a fuzzy image appeared in the circle. Applebloom ran toward the circle as the images grew more solid and then, well, lets say after this, Applebloom, Applejack, and Big Macintosh had the best day ever.
