She was using her friend Applejack, as a model for one of her designs. “Just a little bit longer, dahling! I have to make this design absolutely stupendous! I mean, it IS for the princess.” Rarity exclaimed. “As long as I can get back to the Acres for harvestin season in time.” Applejack added. “Hey! Rarity! Applejack! Meet my friend Thunderlane from the wonderbolts academy! He’s here as a tourist!” Rainbow dash yelled. A dark gray stallion pegasus walked in behind Rainbow dash. “Oh my goodness, he is as good looking as Prince Jerkblood.” Rarity exclaimed excitedly, staring abnormally wide eyed at the newcomer stallion. “Hey.” Thunderlane said to Rarity, smirking. Rarity blatantly fanned herself with her hoove. “Haven’t I seen you before?” Rarity asked, batting her eyes. “Maybe in a dream.” Thunderlane said, winking. The door opened, and Spike the dragon came in, with a mouthful of gems. Spike eyes Thunderlane and Rarity and some gems drop out of his mouth. “WHOSSTTTH THISSTTHHH?” Spike said, narrowing his eyes angrily. “Oh, only the most wonderful stallion pegasus in the world!” Rarity said, staring at Thunderlane. “OH GREAT, NOW I HAVE COMPETITION.” Spike thought angrily. Spike picked up one of the gems he dropped and crunched it in his mouth aggressively. Spike spit the remaining pieces out into Thunderlane’s mane. Thunderlane whipped his head around angrily. “ And, You are?” The Pegasus stallion shouted at the baby Dragon. “uh, uh, I am Spike, I’m a friend of Rarity’s.” Spike said. Thunderlane looked back at Rarity. Rarity gave him a shy smile. “Who’s Rarity?” He asked her, literally confused. “Oh, I am of course, dahling!” Rarity exclaimed. “Oh, I thought your name was Pretty Pony.” Thunderlane said, smirking. Rarity blushed. “OH, FORGET IT.” Spike yelled. The baby dragon sat down on a chair in the corner of the room. Rainbow Dash looked over at Applejack. Applejack suddenly looked back at Rainbow Dash. The two of them quickly and quietly trotted out of Rarity’s Cottage. “You sure do know a way with words, Thunderlane.” Rarity exclaimed. Rarity and Thunderlane were both staring into each others eyes. “UGH. This is pathetic.” Spike yelled angrily. Rarity heard Spike’s statement,and broke her gaze from Thunderlane. She trotted over to Spike. “Spike, I need you to go to Twilight Sparkle and get me the book on stitching, alright?” She said, batting her eyes at him. Spike couldn’t resist and left the cottage. Chapter 4: Sister, Sister (rarity & thunderlane)Rarity’s sister, Sweetiebelle, barged into Rarity’s cottage. Rarity was working on her design from earlier. Thunderlane left to go back to the wonderbolts academy. “Rarity, Rarity!” Sweetiebelle yelled. Rarity turned to find her filly sister covered in mud. “Oh my, what happened?” Rarity asked. “I was running to catch up with scootaloo, and woah, who’s this?” Sweetiebelle said, looking at a wonderbolts magazine. On the cover was Thunderlane. Rarity pushed the magazine away, blushing. “No one, no one of interest.” Rarity said. “Why are you blushing, then?” Sweetiebelle asked. “Sweetiebelle, dahling, don’t you have somewhere ELSE to be? I have a lot of work to do.” Rarity said, pushing her sister out of the door. “No, I-” Rarity closed the door on her sister. She loved her sister, of course, she just thought it was awkward if Sweetiebelle knew about Thunderlane and Her. The door slams open again. This time it was Rarity’s friend, Pinkie Pie. “HEY! HEY! HEY RARITY! ARE YOU COMING TO MY PARTY? ARE YOU? ARE YOU?” Pinkie asked, yelling. “Pinkie, dear, didn’t you have a party last week?” Rarity asked. “I have parties every week, silly! Parties are so much fun!” Pinkie said, jumping up and down like a spring. “Oh, well, Pinkie. I don’t know if I can go to your party this week.” Rarity said. Pinkie stopped bouncing, and sat down beside Rarity. “Are you absolutely sure you can’t come? It’s going to be so much fun!” Pinkie said, with a smile. “Now, What did Princess Celestia say she needed? Blue? Or red?” Rarity said to herself. “I am sorry, Pinkie, but I am really busy with things right now. The princess is coming in a few days, and I am in charge of designing the outfits.” She added. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Pinkie said. “It’s fine.” Fluttershy said, straightening up. “I am headed to Sweet Apple Acres to talk to Applejack! Would you like to come with me?” Pinkie asked. “I was just there this morning, I-” and before Fluttershy could finish her sentence, she was getting pulled away by Pinkie to Sweet Apple Acres. When they arrived at Sweet Apple Acres, Pinkie ran to Applejack. Fluttershy on the other hand, stood at the entrance. She saw Big Macintosh working. She wanted to talk to him, but she couldn’t. Big Macintosh spotted her. He jumped in the air and ran behind an apple tree. “Oh, I’m sorry...” Fluttershy said. Big Macintosh peeked out from the tree. “Eeyup.” He said. It was the only thing he could say right now. Chapter 6: The visit (Rarity & thunderlane)Rarity felt sad. She didn’t want Thunderlane to go back to the wonderbolts academy. Fluttershy trotted over to Applejack’s little sister, Applebloom. “U-um E-excuse me?” Fluttershy said, this time a little louder. The filly looked up at fluttershy, with a smile. “Howdy Fluttershi!” Applebloom shouted, which made Fluttershy jump. “Wh-Where’s A-Applejack?” Fluttershy asked. “She is helpin Rarity with her designin.” Applebloom responded. “Do you need somethin?” “Y-yes um, I was wondering if um, I could have an apple or two?” Fluttershy asked, grinning. “I don’t know. You could ask my big brother, Big Macintosh if you can!” Applebloom replied. “Oh, okay.” Fluttershy said. Fluttershy trotted over to the Stallion, who was pulling something with his neck. “Um, Hello, um, Applebloom told me to ask you if I could get some apples for my pet, Angel’s, breakfast.” Fluttershy said, shyly. Big Macintosh didn’t hear Fluttershy. “Um, okay, I can see you are busy. I will come back later then.” Fluttershy said. Applebloom saw that Big Macintosh wasn’t listening and tried to get his attention, by throwing an apple at him, which hit him right on the snout. Big Macintosh looked up at Fluttershy, with an angry face. Fluttershy squeaked in fear. Big Macintosh then looked at his sister. “Fluttershy was wonderin’ if she could have an apple or two for her pet’s breakfast. “ Applebloom said. Big Macintosh looked back at Fluttershy. “Eeyup.” He said, pushing three apples towards Fluttershy. “Thank you, Big Macintosh.” Fluttershy gratefully said, kissing the side of Big Mac’s snout. Big Macintosh rubbed his hooves together nervously. “Who was that pony that came here to get some apples earlier?” He asked, now digging his hoof into the dirt. “Oh, the Pegasus? Why, that’s Fluttershi! She’s a friend of Applejack’s.” she said. “Fluttershi! That’s a beautiful name! Oh, does she live in ponyville?” He asked Applebloom curiously. “Why in the hay do you care so much about Fluttershi?” Applejack asked her brother.
