Chapter 1: The Dawn of a New Day

My name is Kyle Grimley, and my head fucking hurts. I just got home from another boring day of Middle School, with Math and whatnot. Well, P.E. was okay, but still most of it was boring. Anyways, I guess I should tell you who I am, the oddity that God decided to create. I'm twelve years of age, my interests are Video Games, Hockey, Halo, Doctor Who, and night time. I'm not exactly tan, but not exactly pale either. I have an average build, and emo, long hair. Speaking of which I might get cut, i'm not sure. Anyways, I went into the kitchen and made myself a sandwich. I'm not a sexist sonofabitch. After I made my glorious sandwich, I ran upstairs to watch some Doctor Who. I was re-watching the entire series from the Tenth Doctor played by David Tennant, when it started pouring.
So I guess I watched about ten episodes when I decided to check the time. It was 10:00 PM, and at that very moment a lightning bolt stuck the power box or some shit and the entire house went dark. "Fuck my life sideways with christ in a hand basket." I grabbed my Navy Blue hoodie, put the hood up, and walked outside to see what happened. Well, as soon as I did step outside I was abused by the high winds and the powerful rain. I couldn't see five feet in front of me, and any rational person probably would've went inside. As God would have it, i'm a moron. So I kept walking, I might've tripped over a rock or two..... fuck you. Anyways, I went towards where I heard the boom from, and I couldn't see absolute shit. So I turned around was about to head back inside when Zeus decided to yell from the heavens "I'M GOING TO SHOCK YOU IN THE DICK!". As my luck would have it, I was the target. The odd thing was, this bolt was purple. A purple lightning bolt, shocked me in the dick. The only thing I though before I passed out was one word. One word, that every Human on Earth has used at least once in their lifetime. The one word, that expresses all of your hate, sorrow, and rage. The one word I uttered before I passed out...... "Fuck."
I woke up to the sound of.... Birds? Yes, birds. Okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I attempted to sit up, only to fall back down, my attempt in vain. I opened my eyes, but the sun just so happened to be right there, so I squeezed them shut. I stayed awake and just listened to my surroundings. Nothing special, birds, leaves blowing around in the soft wind, and the sound of screaming..... WAIT WHAT THE FUCK? I bolted upright, despite my bodies protests, got up, and ran as fast as I could to the screams of terror. Now don't get me wrong, I wasn't going top speed, but I wasn't going slow either. My body was screaming for me to stop, but if there's one thing I don't like, it's people unhappy. I strive to make people just live a good life, not one of pain, sorrow, or despair. So I kept running, determined to help the two voices. If I hear correctly, which I hope I do after what just happened, There should be two of them, and female.
After arriving at what seems to be predator V.S. prey, there is a GIANT FUCKING MANTICORE. Yes, you have heard my correctly, a giant Manticore. There would also appear to be two Horses, who would appear to be screaming. I was about a foot taller than the Horses I think, but I can worry about that later. The first horse that was screaming had a White coat, Purple styled hair, and appeared to be the louder of the two. The other one, who happened to be Orange, was pinned down by the Manticore. The White Horse was making a shit attempt to save her friend by throwing rocks at the Manticore, but that just pissed it off. Knowing that I had to do at least something to help, I ran straight up to the Manticore and slugged it right in the face. Granted, probably not my best idea but i'm not willing to die just yet. It didn't do much, but from the looks of it, It at least did SOMETHING. I backed up, just in case the beast would charge, and it would appear I was correct. The Manticore ran at me, probably thinking more meat, but I wasn't going to go down without an attempt of survival. I leaped to my left and rolled, I looked up to see the Manticore smash into a tree. I thought out this tactic and how many times I could use it, but it probably wont work for long. It charged me again, but this time I rolled to the right. There wasn't a tree like last time, so I got up quickly and jumped on it's back, hoping to get a grip. I grabbed it's ears and pulled. It let out a howl of pain, obviously not enjoying it's ears being yanked. I reached out and grabbed a tree branch, but not without a few cuts. It took me a few tries, but I got the stick jammed in it's right eye. After that though, It shook me off and pounced on me. I rolled over to protect my face, and got slashed in the back straight downwards. "OH GOD FUCKING DAMN IT THAT HURTS LIKE A BITCH!" I swear that could be heard for miles. I couldn't see the Manticore, but I rolled over to see it tangled up in a rope held by the Orange Horse. I guess she dropped the Stetson earlier or I didn't notice it till' now, but it's there. After making sure the Manticore wasn't going anywhere for a bit, she walked up to me.
She offered her hoof to help me up, which I gladly accepted given the circumstances. "Thank's for helpin' back there pardner." I was surprised at how she could talk, and couldn't help but ask. I also had another question on my mind. "No problem, but I have a few questions if you don't mind." She nodded, giving me the chance to shoot my questions. "Thanks. One, How can you even talk? Two, Where am I? Three, any chance I could get patched up? This hurts quite a bit." She answered in the same form I asked. "One, Ah don't know, Ah just can. Two, Yer in th' Everfree Forest. Three, We can get ya' patched up, but we gotta get to Ponyville first." The fuck kind of a name is Ponyville? Oh well, gotta keep going. "Okay, can you lead the way?" The look on her face told me she couldn't, so I had to ask why. "You cant, can you?" Her reply was "Sorry, but no. You see, mah friend and I our lookin' for our sisters. They decided ta' run in here, and we can't just leave em' here." "Sound fair, i'll help you find your sisters if you can get me to town." Not long afterwards, I heard three high-pitched voices coming towards us. Now the three cutest little things ran straight past me and up to their sisters and gave them each a long hug. Well, two of them did anyway, the third one was Orange with Purple hair. It seemed like she didn't have anyone, so she kinda just stood off to the side. After some interesting introductions, we went on our way to the town, with me limping behind. I just hope I don't pass out..... Fuck.
