Nothing! “Hmm, I could have sworn I heard a reply from out here”. “Down here?” I hear the voice; I looked down, the next thing I know I’m out cold. **************************1 day before.***************************** Hi my name is ‘Ignis Saltator’ (Latin). I know it’s a funny name for a person but that was my parents fault for they love unique names and as you can see that was I’m named. Oh please don’t let me ramble I have more important things to talk about than my name. Anyways back to the story, I woke like any other day. Got up, had breakfast, went to school, came home and then messed around till bed time. But today was different – Don’t ask why because I don’t know either – today just felt different, It was all routine, until I saw something, it was small and colorful, that’s all I saw before it vanished and never saw it until later when at school, it was at lunch I was just walking along during lunch when I saw it again and I got the weird feeling it was watching me, but like every-other time I looked at it directly it hid from sight. I was staring so intently at the place I saw it last that I never saw the guy that came by and decided I’d be good as any to beat up. His name was Crash, James ‘Crash’ Jones the school bully. He loved to wail on the other kids and the teachers and principle did Jack! Well anyways he came by and to my embarrassment, decked me and stole my bag with my recent project in it for my Geography class. “What we have here ‘burn-out’” he says “nothing, why?” I say as meekly as I can so he leaves me alone and not think me worth it. (and oh by god I was wrong). The next thing I know is I’m thrust into the ground and him sitting on the small of my back going through my things. “hmmm, there are some nice things in here ‘burn-out’, you mind if I ‘borrow’ them?” crash says in a menacing voice. “no I don’t mind, just don’t hurt me ok?” I plead. “Maybe, but I won’t!” Hitting me. “ouch- come on, leave me alone?” I plead. “why should I d-?”. He was abruptly stopped by a glowing beam throwing him off me. I looked in the direction it came from and what I saw nearly scared me. It was a ‘pony’? “What the hell?” and it was gone in a flash. The rest of the day was not very eventful and I never saw that strange ‘pony’ again. I got home and thought it may have just been a hallucination from being hit in the head, but alas I couldn’t forget the fact that it saved me from the bully – In which frightened and ran off afterwards – (blubber-puss). Anyways after getting home I went to my, going online, searching for Hell knows what! “I wander” I hear behind me. I turn around and what I see, it’s that same ‘pony’ that saved me that day. “Who are you?, What are you? And how are you talking?” I ask this strange ‘pony’ in the most chill voice I could (I was really not chill). What he answers baffled me, “I am you” he answers with a straight face. “And I am here to bring you back with me; I need you for something that is really important”. “Woah, Woah,woah, you still haven’t answered me! I’m not going anywhere until you tell what you are, how you are speaking and who you are?!” I nearly shout out. “Fine my name is FireDancer, I am a magic user (not unicorn, answer later, don’t care for the ridicule) from Equestria. I have come here asking for your help, also to answer your question for how I speak, i'm sure you are familiar with the show ‘My Little Pony’” FireDancer asks. “Yeah, sure I know of it, is it actually real, of course it is if you’re here!” I nearly freak! “Come with me!” He tells me. “I should really think on it?” “I’ll let you know in the morning” I say, I’m going to bed. “I wasn't asking” AND THERE WAS BLACKNESS!! *************************************************** And here we are again, back where we started after a strange day then wake up in a unfamiliar destination. "Uuuuugh" i complain as i wake up in the middle of a doorway, having no idea why i passed out. "a-are y-y-you OK?" i hear whispered from somewhere nearby. I look around for the voice. "Where am I?" i ask to no one in particular. "Your in my home" I hear voice whisper again. Can you come out whoever you are?, I wanna see who's speaking to me! "O-OK" and to my disbelief a canary yellow 'Pegusus pony' walks out from the end of the hall. "Woah. Who are you?" i ask this strange creature walking up to me. But all she does is hide behind her cute light-pink mane. "Come on. I heard you speak before, why aren't you now?" I asked in a soft voice while moving closer. All she did was hide further behind her mane. "Wait a moment, I know who you are. How did it slip my mind!" in a joyous voice in which very unnerved the poor 'Pegasus'. "H-h-how d-do y-you know me?" she asked. "I dunno, I just have an unnerving feeling that I know you for some reason?" "Is your name Fluttershy?" I ask. "Y-yes" coming out from behind her mane and gave me the cutest face, I swear i have an instant diabetes. "Hello" holding out my hand. "My name is Ignis" Chapter 2 - Meeting the friends (part 1)"Hi" came the shy reply from Fluttershy. "No need to be scared i'm not going to hurt you. Actually how did i end up in there?" I asked generally curious. "I found you outside dumped in the tree" Fluttershy said. "Really! How did you get me down and into your house without me waking up?" "You were pretty out, at one point i thought you did wake up but you were babbling in your sleep.." "What did I say?" I ask quite nervously. "Nothing much. Just stuff about chicks and cars. No idea what you meant by that, please don't be mad" she answers truthfully and slightly frightened of my reaction. "OK that's fine then, actually i'm famished can we have some 'brekkie'?" "Brekkie?" "w-what? oh, breakfast,yes come along, if you really want to?" We both head over the the kitchen where Fluttershy started putting together breakfast for her and myself. When shes done she set them down on the kitchen table for us. "Thank you so much" I say before digging in to a delicious breakfast even for a vegetarian one this one was good. "T-that's fine, I was wandering unless you don't want to?" she replies "What is it you wanted me to do?" I ask her before she get to nervous. "Oh, no its nothing." "Oh come on, you can tell me, I won't bite." "Well ok, umm uh, I-I w-was wander w-whether you wanted to come with me to meet my friends?" "Sure, I'd love to" I say happily. "We can go after Brekkie" "Great! well ok, if that's what you want?" bashfully. After Breakfast was done, we went out to see Fluttershies friends. She decided on us seeing Applejack first for she was closest. We walked for about 10 minutes till we finally ended up outside the Apples farm. In the trees close by we could hear somepony bucking trees. We walked in to see who it was and found Applejack bucking some apples. "Hello" I call out before coming out of the trees. "Howdy, who is---?" "CONSARNIT WHAT ARE YOU?" she cries in surprise. "Hi my name is Ignis, oh i'm also a human, Fluttershy found me and decided to show around to all her friends." I answer. "Well it's nice to meet y'all then, sorry for that outburst" Applejack says apologetically. "Thank you" I say back. "Well it is really nice to meet you, wait a minute! Where's Fluttershy?" "Here I am" Fluttershy says from behind a tree. "Why are you back there?" I ask her. "I hid because of when Applejack yelled, it scared me" she said while coming out of hiding. "Really! well come on out, it is fine" i called over to her. "ok" while coming out form behind a tree. All of a sudden i hear a rushing sound, something very close to a fast moving plane. The next thing i notice is being flung off my feet, into a tree and passing out. ****** Fluttershy******** "Rainbow!, why did you do that, i was in no danger, you really gotta stop doing this!" I say in a scolding tone. "I dunno Fluttershy, i was just, uhh umm, I thought it was gonna hurt you!" she cries defensibly. "Well I appreciate the gesture, what I don't appreciate is that you had to go ahead and do that!" I almost shout causing the others to just in surprise. "OK, Ok im sorry Fluttershy, How about me and AJ help drag him over to the farm house?" Apologetically. "Thank you Rainbow". I say to her. After a bit of struggle we managed to drag him over to the barn, where we set him down in the hay waiting for him to wake up. It was about 2 hours when he did wake up though for it was just pushing high noon. "Uuuugh, why do i feel like I have been just been flogged over the head by a bulldozer?" Ignis says while holding his head with a grimace. ****** Ignis******* The first thing i feel upon waking up, is the feeling a titanic orchestra playing in my head, causing me to grimace as pain shot through me. "Uuuugh, why do I feel like I Have been just flogged over the head by a bulldozer?" I say which causes me to grimace in pain and hold my head. At which point I look around to see I was not where i was before. I was in a room of some kind, filled with tools and Hay. "Where am I?" I say to myself. at which point a pair of bright green eyes assault my face. "Your in Aj's barn, sleeping off what happened to you." I hear coming from the pony with the green eyes. upon further inspection I look at her and see shes a light blue (cyan) and her - i think is a she - mane is Rainbow and Disheveled like it hasn't been brushed in year. "Who are you?" I ask through clenched teeth. "What!, Why I am the one and only Rainbow Dash. The fastest flier in all of Equestria." Rainbow Replies in a cocky voice. "That's 'nugh Rainbow!" called Applejack from the other side of the barn. "What happened to me?" I ask nopony in particular but Rainbow Dash decides to answer me. "I-I umm M-may have Knocked you out" she finished quickly, I nearly didn't hear it till Applejack called up. "Rainbow said she tackled ya into a tree" Applejack says causing Rainbow to wince. "YOU WHAT!!" I roar at Rainbow causing her to panic and fly into a wall. At that moment I was really tempted to smack her in the jaw for that. "Its OK Ignis, please don;t be mad at her?, she's just very protective of me" Fluttershy says after coming out from hiding behind a stack of hay to calm me down. "Ok, Ok I was Blindsided and nearly killed and you want me to calm down!?" "Well then, fine ill be calm but i'm out of here!" And with that I Left the barn and walked off to find a place to calm down. I walk down a dirt path and not even looking where i'm going find myself walking into a town. At my first step into town the entire populace freak out and start hiding within homes and boarding up windows. "Well this is turning out to be a fun day!!" Chapter 3 - Meeting the friends (part 2)Wandering through the town, I noticed a few things. For one it was slightly different from what i remember of it. It was just, umm, how can i describe it. It is more realistic as i could expect just as I saw with the Ponies here but I digress. As I walk through town I decide to get a feel for the place so if I had to run I can at least get away. I got about half-way through town when I saw a pony I hoped I'd never EVER see, PINKIE PIE!! to be exact. Well she saw me and what do you think the first thing she did was, hmm, Yes she gasped and flew away while seeming to break the laws of physics. "Oh god! I can only guess what's gonna happen next" I say to myself, in which I have a habit of doing. "If she is doing what I think she's gonna do I really don't wanna be here". (but alas she will) "Well i guess i will have get out of here before mistress Pie! gets me". I turn to go in the other direction when I happen to see looking around the corner of a building what seems to be a small purple lizard. "Well might as well meet the rest of the gang, for what I remember of Pinkie is that if she wants something, SHE GETS IT. Just great" I silently call to myself. Loosing the internal argument I gave myself, I followed the small green lizard, I mean Spike the dragon back to the library. "I always wanted to see this place in the flesh" I say to myself before walking to the door and knocking. "Hello~ anyone home?" I call through the door for after i hear shuffling of someone trying to hide. "I know who you are Twilight, can i some in? I promise i won't bite" I almost tease at all their reaction upon seeing me enter the town. "H-how do you know my name?" I hear coming from said pony on the other side of the door. A slight tad frightened and to try to alleviate that fact I call back. "I know a great many things. My names Ignis, can you please open the door for me? I just wanna talk before Pinkie Pie come and whisked me off to god know where?" "I promise no harm to anypony here if I can't help it. OK." "Fine you may come in but please do behave!" I hear through the door. "I don't expect any less" I say before I see the door glow in a purple aura and opening. I walk inside to find the place as I expected. Neat, orderly yet still with the slight showing of Organised chaos in the back for where I bet Twilight was before Spike warned her of my arrival. Said dragon was seen cowering under the table where Twilight was hiding. Said pony finally thought better of hiding and came out to meet me. "Hello, My name is Twilight Sparkle, I'm sorry for that, just nervous that ah~" "Human thank you, I am Human" I interrupt. "Oh ok well... WAIT!, did you just say human?" She cried In what I thought was surprise. "Yeah I did, Why you heard of my species?" I ask her intrigued on her reaction. "Well I thought your people were a Myth!!" Twilight says to me. "Oh Tartarus, now i'm gonna have to apologize to Lyra". "Lyra?" "oh wait is she human obsessed one?" I ask before I cover my mouth and nearly back out of the room from what i said. "Yeah she is, how do you know that?" Twilight asks me in a rather wary tone as though she may want to back away from a dangerous animal. "Uhh~, Umm~, I think I may leave now bye!" I call before running for the door but having it blown open in my face by a mint green pony, that I REALLY didn't want to see more than Pinkie. "Did somepony say HUMAN!!" Lyra cries before tripping over my body where I lay after being bowled over by the door. "UUGH, why does this keep happening?" I cry out, holding my head in my hands where the door hit me oblivious to the fact that Lyra was Gawking at me as though i'm a Rare gem. "OH MY CELESTIA!!!, I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG, YOU MUST COME WITH ME, I HAVE TO SHOW YOU TO BON-BON". Lyra pretty much screams in happiness to my face making me feel WAAAAY worse. "I may but you have to stop yelling at me, your only making my head hurt worse". At that moment, Twilight rushed over and stopped next to me. "Are you ok. That was quite the hit you took there". Twilight says to me, worried for me. "Yeah I'm fine, but i'm gonna leave now, I'll talk to you later". After that i got up and walked outside following Lyra. After a little while Lyra lead me to a sweet shop near what I could see to be Sugar-cube Corner, walking in I am assaulted by the sight of every single type of confectionery possible and seeing a Cream white pony turned away cleaning behind the counter that I remember being called Bon-Bon. "Hey Bon bon, I got somepony you gotta meet. Its a live human". Lyra yells over enthusiastically. "OH Celestia, This had better not be another one o~" (O//o?) When she sees me, I swear she must have had minor heart attack. "W-what t-t-the T-tartarus a-a-are Y-Y-Youu?" Bon-bon says to me while trying not to panic (badly). "He's a Human. "Well if there isn't more, I think I may make my leave not, cause i reckon any moment now Pinkie is going to appear and ask for me to head to SugarCube Corner for a party. "WooW, He's goooood!" I hear behind me, I turn around and standing behind me almost nose to nose is Pinkie herself. "GAAAAAH, How, how did you get there?" I cry out in surprise. any more and I'm gonna feint. "I-I umm M-may have Knocked you out" she finished quickly, I nearly didn't hear it till Applejack called up. "Rainbow said she tackled ya into a tree" Applejack says causing Rainbow to wince. "YOU WHAT!!" I roar at Rainbow causing her to panic and fly into a wall. At that moment I was really tempted to smack her in the jaw for that. "Its OK Ignis, please don;t be mad at her?, she's just very protective of me" Fluttershy says after coming out from hiding behind a stack of hay to calm me down. "Ok, Ok I was Blindsided and nearly killed and you want me to calm down!?" "Well then, fine ill be calm but i'm out of here!" And with that I Left the barn and walked off to find a place to calm down. I walk down a dirt path and not even looking where i'm going find myself walking into a town. At my first step into town the entire populace freak out and start hiding within homes and boarding up windows. "Well this is turning out to be a fun day!!"
Chapter 3 - Meeting the friends (part 2)Wandering through the town, I noticed a few things. For one it was slightly different from what i remember of it. It was just, umm, how can i describe it. It is more realistic as i could expect just as I saw with the Ponies here but I digress. As I walk through town I decide to get a feel for the place so if I had to run I can at least get away. I got about half-way through town when I saw a pony I hoped I'd never EVER see, PINKIE PIE!! to be exact. Well she saw me and what do you think the first thing she did was, hmm, Yes she gasped and flew away while seeming to break the laws of physics. "Oh god! I can only guess what's gonna happen next" I say to myself, in which I have a habit of doing. "If she is doing what I think she's gonna do I really don't wanna be here". (but alas she will) "Well i guess i will have get out of here before mistress Pie! gets me". I turn to go in the other direction when I happen to see looking around the corner of a building what seems to be a small purple lizard. "Well might as well meet the rest of the gang, for what I remember of Pinkie is that if she wants something, SHE GETS IT. Just great" I silently call to myself. Loosing the internal argument I gave myself, I followed the small green lizard, I mean Spike the dragon back to the library. "I always wanted to see this place in the flesh" I say to myself before walking to the door and knocking. "Hello~ anyone home?" I call through the door for after i hear shuffling of someone trying to hide. "I know who you are Twilight, can i some in? I promise i won't bite" I almost tease at all their reaction upon seeing me enter the town. "H-how do you know my name?" I hear coming from said pony on the other side of the door. A slight tad frightened and to try to alleviate that fact I call back. "I know a great many things. My names Ignis, can you please open the door for me? I just wanna talk before Pinkie Pie come and whisked me off to god know where?" "I promise no harm to anypony here if I can't help it. OK." "Fine you may come in but please do behave!" I hear through the door. "I don't expect any less" I say before I see the door glow in a purple aura and opening. I walk inside to find the place as I expected. Neat, orderly yet still with the slight showing of Organised chaos in the back for where I bet Twilight was before Spike warned her of my arrival. Said dragon was seen cowering under the table where Twilight was hiding. Said pony finally thought better of hiding and came out to meet me. "Hello, My name is Twilight Sparkle, I'm sorry for that, just nervous that ah~" "Human thank you, I am Human" I interrupt. "Oh ok well... WAIT!, did you just say human?" She cried In what I thought was surprise. "Yeah I did, Why you heard of my species?" I ask her intrigued on her reaction. "Well I thought your people were a Myth!!" Twilight says to me. "Oh Tartarus, now i'm gonna have to apologize to Lyra". "Lyra?" "oh wait is she human obsessed one?" I ask before I cover my mouth and nearly back out of the room from what i said. "Yeah she is, how do you know that?" Twilight asks me in a rather wary tone as though she may want to back away from a dangerous animal. "Uhh~, Umm~, I think I may leave now bye!" I call before running for the door but having it blown open in my face by a mint green pony, that I REALLY didn't want to see more than Pinkie. "Did somepony say HUMAN!!" Lyra cries before tripping over my body where I lay after being bowled over by the door. "UUGH, why does this keep happening?" I cry out, holding my head in my hands where the door hit me oblivious to the fact that Lyra was Gawking at me as though i'm a Rare gem. "OH MY CELESTIA!!!, I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG, YOU MUST COME WITH ME, I HAVE TO SHOW YOU TO BON-BON". Lyra pretty much screams in happiness to my face making me feel WAAAAY worse. "I may but you have to stop yelling at me, your only making my head hurt worse". At that moment, Twilight rushed over and stopped next to me. "Are you ok. That was quite the hit you took there". Twilight says to me, worried for me. "Yeah I'm fine, but i'm gonna leave now, I'll talk to you later". After that i got up and walked outside following Lyra. After a little while Lyra lead me to a sweet shop near what I could see to be Sugar-cube Corner, walking in I am assaulted by the sight of every single type of confectionery possible and seeing a Cream white pony turned away cleaning behind the counter that I remember being called Bon-Bon. "Hey Bon bon, I got somepony you gotta meet. Its a live human". Lyra yells over enthusiastically. "OH Celestia, This had better not be another one o~" (O//o?) When she sees me, I swear she must have had minor heart attack. "W-what t-t-the T-tartarus a-a-are Y-Y-Youu?" Bon-bon says to me while trying not to panic (badly). "He's a Human. I told you they were real!!, AHAHAHA I knew it" Lyra cries in triumph. "i have so many questions but those must wait" "Why do we need to wait?" I ask her. "Cause I haven't thought of any yet, to Riled in the excitement to remember". "Oh well, was the only reason i was dragged here was so you could gloat to your friends that were right? If yes then go ahead". "But right now I think now would be a as good as any to go out and find Firedancer. You dont happen to have seen his have you?" "The strange Pony with the strange ability to use elemental magic, then no I haven't". "You know where he lives?" I ask them before me. "No, Not really all I really know that he said that he lives up in Canterlot. Why you wanna find him so bad?" Bonbon says. "I dunno Bonny, maybe cause I wanna ask him why he brought me here". I tell them. "Uh why did you call me 'Bonny'?" She asked me. "Well i kinda thought calling you bonbon seems a little silly, since that reminds me of Christmas bonbons, aaaaand Now with the name bonny I can have some fun with it Bonnnnnney".I joke. "Oh my Celestia, with all this excitement I forgot to ask for your name, Care to share?" Bonbon "Oh sorry I forgot myself there too. My name is Ignis, it is Latin for Fire I believe". I answer. "Well if there isn't more, I think I may make my leave not, cause i reckon any moment now Pinkie is going to appear and ask for me to head to SugarCube Corner for a party. "WooW, He's goooood!" I hear behind me, I turn around and standing behind me almost nose to nose is Pinkie herself. "GAAAAAH, How, how did you get there?" I cry out in surprise. any more and I'm gonna feint. "Well I read ahead in the Chapter and decided to pop up as i'm instructed" She answers enthusiastically not even aware of what she said. "Ahead of the Chapter?" "Go with it, or you will get a headache. Believe me" I hear Lyra say behind me. "Ok then, Well Tallyho and see you later". I wink to the two mares behind me and walk outside heading to where I know what will be quite not surprising-surprise party. (oh how I was wrong!!).
