Mistress Rarity
The intro
Load Full StoryEven equestria houses the darkest of hearts. But those hearts aren’t always dark though it always seems so. On a business trip to Canterlot for her fashion business, Rarity didn’t seem like it was business. Of course when you have fun doing your job you’re not really working are you? But regardless, she was on a trip for her fashion business. Talking to Hoity Toity, she was discussing what all would be the best idea for her business. “Oh, I do appreciate having moved here to Canterlot, but my friends come first. I can’t leave them.” Rarity said. “Oh don’t worry, I’m not talking moving your business, I’m talking about expanding it. Putting up shops all around Equestria of your business.” He explained.
Rarity put a hoof to her chin. “Hmm…Give me some time to think about it. I don’t know why, but I just feel like it would be a bit too much if we spread it all over Equestria. Delivery from ponyville is a bit faster in my opinion.” Rarity replied. “Well yes that is true. Well this has been quite a lovely evening miss Rarity.” “Excuse me…” A voice interrupted. Hoity Toity looked behind him. “Ah, hello Crimson.” He said. A pale white alicorn stallion wearing formal wear and a black cape with a large collar behind his head. Rarity looked at him with interest. “Hello, Hoity Toity. Who’s your friend here?” He asked. “Oh! Rarity, let me introduce you to a good friend of mine. This is Count Crimson.” Hoity Toity introduced. Crimson held out a hoof to Rarity. Rarity did the same to him.
Crimson took her hoof and kissed it. “Charmed to meet you, miss Rarity.” Crimson said. Rarity blushed. “Pleased to meet you, Count Crimson.” Rarity said. “What brings you here my friend?” Hoity Toity asked. “Oh just out for a stroll. I saw you from down the street so I decided to say hello. But may I say, you’ve made quite a lovely friend here.” Crimson said looking at Rarity. Rarity blushed again, smiling bashfully at the count. “Rarity, I’m terribly sorry that this drug out longer than it was intended to be.” Hoity Toity apologized. “Oh it’s fine I should be able to check in one more time at the hotel before it closes.” Rarity said. Crimson got a look of opportunity on his face. “Oh don’t worry about that. You could stay at my manor.” Crimson offered. “Oh, no. Don’t trouble yourself with little old me.” Rarity said bashfully. “No, I insist. The train just left. I saw it a few minutes ago.” He continued.
Rarity looked away. “Well I-I…” She started. Crimson looked into her eyes. “Don’t be shy, my dear. It’s no trouble at all.” The count insisted. “W-Well alright. If it’s no trouble.” “It’s no trouble at all my dear.” Crimson said once again. They all sat down at the table together. “Have you ordered yet?” Crimson asked. “Oh yes, we’re just waiting for our bill.” Rarity said. Suddenly the waiter came up, and set a piece of paper on the table. Rarity and Hoity Toity looked down at it. “Oh dear…I guess we ordered a bit too much.” Hoity Toity said. Crimson’s horn glowed and a bag floated up t the table. “Don’t worry, my friends. I’ll deal with it.” Five gold coins floated out of the bag and next to the bill. The waiter looked at him with his mouth agape. “Keep the change, sir.” The waiter nodded, took the bill and the money and walked away.
“Crimson, you didn’t have to do that.” Hoity Toity said. “ Oh nonsense, it’s the least I can do to help out some friends.” Crimson said. “Well, I’ll be seeing you tomorrow Rarity. Again, I’m terribly sorry to have you miss your ride back home.” Hoity Toity said again. “It’s alright. It’s not like I’m never going to get home.” Rarity said. “You see? That’s the spirit.” Crimson said. “Although, I believe that train was headed for the appleoosa wasn’t it?” Rarity asked. “Well, I’m afraid so. But I’ll make sure you keep enjoying yourself until the train comes back around.” Crimson said. “Thank you very much.” Rarity said. “Well, I wish you good luck in your business, Rarity. And farewell.” Hoity Toity said as he walked off. Crimson looked at Rarity, and held a hoof out to her. “Shall we m’lady?” He asked. Rarity nodded and smiled as they walked off together. “Thank you, for letting me stay at your place. You don’t really have to.” Rarity said. “I know. But why wouldn’t I for such an attractive mare such as yourself.” Crimson said, making Rarity blush.
Along the way they, talked a lot and stopped by a few other clothing places. When they finally reached Crimson’s manor, Rarity trotted into the manor. She froze in place upon entering feeling an eerie atmosphere of the gothic manor. She looked around. “Oh dear. I feel like there’s something a bit off about this place.” Rarity said. “What do you mean?” Crimson asked. “I’m not sure…I just feel like there’s something strange about this place.” Rarity said. Crimson closed the door, and all of the candles flickered to life. “I love that little contraption. Someone enters when it’s dark, and the candles flicker on automatically. I don’t quite understand how it works myself, but it was built when ever this manor was built.” Crimson explained.
Rarity yawned. “You tired?” “Yes. I’ve had such a lovely time here in Canterlot, and especially tonight.” Rarity said following Crimson to a spare bedroom in the manor. Being a large building that it was for some reason, Crimson lived alone. Not a soul in the house, save their own. As they ascended the stairs, Rarity noticed a portrait of a mare that looked exactly like her. “I-Is that…?” “My wife. Well, my fiancé. We were engaged long ago, but she died. She was brutally murdered. I never saw the killer. They knocked me out, and killed her while I was out cold. The cowards!” Crimson said sullenly. “Goodness. But you said long ago…How long ago was it?” Rarity asked. Crimson stopped outside a door, and opened it for her. “Oh, why thank you.” Rarity said as she entered. Crimson entered after her, and shut the door.
Rarity looked behind her, and saw Crimson staring at her, menacingly. “Crimson?” Rarity asked. The count walked toward her. Seeming darker the closer he got to her. “Crimson?” Rarity asked again. The count hissed and flew toward her, tackling her, and sinking his fangs into her neck. “Ahhh! Crimson!” Rarity screamed. Rarity could feel the blood leaving her body, as he drank the life from her. She began to get weak. “No…Crimson!” Rarity let out, as she fought to see. Her vision began to get fuzzy. “Oh dear…I-I feel rather faint.” She said as she began to lose consciousness. Crimson released her, and looked at her. “Crimson…W-Why?” Rarity asked. “Shhhhhh…You’ll be just fine…Don’t worry. I won’t keep you here if you don’t want it…But I will give you this.” He said. He brought a foreleg up to his mouth, and bit down on it. Then brought it to Rarity’s mouth. His blood poured into Rarity’s mouth. The taste was sweet.
Rarity bit down, drinking the blood. Her stomach began to growl, as she drank hungrily. Rarity opened her eyes, and they glowed a blood red, before returning to their normal blue color as she released Crimson. She panted for air, showing a pair of fangs in her mouth where normal teeth used to be. She tried to stand, but everything went black as she went limp.
