Blood Rain

Cody entered a 'dream state' as he dreamed of every memory he had taken from all of his victims.

He was on a public road. Cars driving by.

He looked around for a building until he saw his house.

Cody was confused why his house would be in another person's memories.

He entered the house seeing a family, him, his father, mother, and someone he recognized as his brother.

"Hey, can you hear me?" Cody asked the family.

No response.

He saw himself when he was 13.

He walked into a room that he knew was his.

"Well look like this is long gone."

He fell to his knees as he cried.

A figure ran through leaving a mist behind it.

"Max?" he asked himself.

Cody saw his brother grab a piece of duct-tape and leave the room.

He followed Max to the kitchen.

Cody's younger self was in the kitchen, holding butcher knife behind his back.

It walked towards his mother.

"Cody don't." he said to his younger self, but it didn't help.

Cody closed his eyes as he realized this was the night he killed his mother or rather Brandon did.

Then he saw Max come in and hand Brandon the duct tape to him.

Brandon duct taped Max to the kitchen table and left.

Cody woke up, vanishing from his dream.

He looked around the room seeing the door wide open.

Then he heard someone in the house.

He grabbed a knife that was on the floor of the kitchen.

And walked to a room that he heard the commotion.

He looked in the room, he saw Dr.Whooves walking back and forth along the room, looking for something.

"Hey,  Whooves. What are you doing here?"

The Dr. saw him and trotted towards Cody.

"Its Nightmare." the Dr. began, "She is ill."

"What happened?" Cody asked, worried.

"Well. Its her sister. Nightmare can't take much of the sun anymore." Whooves suddenly put his hooves on Cody's shoulders, "Your the only one who can bring forth the night."

Cody's eyes widened. "So your saying-"

The Dr. interrupted, "Yes, you are the Prince of Night."

Whooves handed him and blackish crystal, inscribed with constellations, "This will help you with your future quest."

Dr.Whooves walked out.

Cody looked at the object that Whooves had just given him. When his eyes became a dark-blue...He was turning again...And this time for good....
