Note: Had to rewrite the beginning for this chapter. I give 100% credit for the new beginning of this chapter to WingPwny he helped me out big time. Thank you very very much WingPwny I appreciate it a lot.This is my very first story and I hope you all like it. I will be having other characters from other stories like Alex from a New Hero, but before I can do that I need to ask him first before I can put his character in the story, in later chapters. So for now enjoy the story and be ready for more later on. Also just to let you all know I was inspired by Alex's story to write this. You should check him out and give him a lot of support on his stories. He deserves it :). Enjoy. P.S. I am redoing this chapter. So if you see something incomplete I must apologize...but i will complete it so yeah....anyway, enjoy the story :D

Prologue

Vast plains of ice, ravaged by wind and wrapped with storm clouds, stretched toward an invisible horizon. Hard, icy snow whipped around occaisonal crystalline peaks before disappearing in the colorless haze. One jagged structure was noticeably different - it pulsed with darkness, as if, resting behind it, were a lightbulb that worked in reverse, stealing the light from the world instead of giving it.
That wasn't far from a horrible truth. A horse's form was slumped against the back, barely shielded from the blizzard. Rusted plates of armor hummed, their numerous dents and cracks catching the wind and singing a dying tune - inside them rested the battered, burned, but almost intangible body of King Sombra. Despite the environment, emerald fire flickered in his eye sockets, and a fire burned in his mind that he couldn't quench. He, the undisputed lord of big-ass fart clouds and mexican hats, had been vanquished not once, but TWICE by cute little ponies that he was born to rule. It was unjust. It was unnatural. It couldn't be allowed to continue. However... the king knew, though he hated to admit it, that he was too weak to have any hope of regaining his lost dignity and power - only a shadow of his former self remained.
At that moment, something changed. Sombra's immaterial ears shot up and swiveled, hearing more of the spirit world than the real one. A cry of pain, a voice chuckling. He could feel the schadenfreude reverberating through him, the joy of the antagonist - a joy similar to his own. "Perhaps," the king whispered, "perhaps this is one who I could relate to. One who could possibly heal me... might come at a price..." He had always been cautious of other great powers such as he, but here, a thousand years in the future, there were so few. "I need help... we all need help... damn it, this is my only chance."
The armor-clad figure surged to his feet. His head spun, but he shook it off and scanned the spectral plane's horizon for the source of the feeling. Blackened spikes of ice grew around his hooves as his internal compass spun, homing in on a point southeast of his position. With no other choice than to follow the darkness, his body disintegrated, armor flaking into elemental iron and aluminum. The mist of particles hovered up toward the clouds, fighting the wind, then vanished into the dim, white light of dawn.

Mean while at the source of that evil....

"This is completely outrageous! My subjects are dying one by one because of our lack of food! If only that blasted Twilight Sparkle didn't ruin my plans! Shining Armor could have been mine and we could have had enough food to last us forever! Not to mention this freezing temperature! Me and my subjects not only have a lack of food but we can not escape this imprisonment because of Shinning Armor and Princess Cadence spell that not only sent us flying, but also had a sealing spell to lock us up in this freezing waste land! If only there was a way for us to break out of here! I would do anything to break out of here and take my revenge on Princess Cadence and that little brat Twilight Sparkle!" Queen Chrysalis said as she was about to give up and end her pitiful life once and for all. In till....
Anything thing huh?
Queen Chrysalis turns around and sees a dark shadow hovering at the other side of the force field.
"Who are you?"She said in a slightly scared tone.
"Let me introduce myself." The shadowy figure said.
The shadowy figure transformed into a dark unicorn with glowing green eyes.
"My name is King Sombra former ruler of the crystal empire and you are?" He said with a grin.
Queen Chrysalis was quite surprised when the shadow transformed into a unicorn, but was still able to respond.
"My name is Queen Chrysalis ruler of the Changlings and consumer of love" Queen Chrysalis said.
"Please to meet you Queen Chrysalis. How about I set you and your Changlings free, in exchange to help me get rid of the Elements of Harmony and help take over all of Equestria?" He said with a grin on his face.
"It would be my pleasure to get revenge on those goody two shoes once and for all." Queen Chrysalis said while having an evil smile on her face.
"Then it's settled." King Sombra said with a grin.
He then used his dark magic to destroy the force field with one blow.
"But wait a minute, how are my subjects gonna fight when we have no food?!" Queen Chrysalis said in a worried tone.
"Don't worry Queen Chrysalis, your subjects can feed off of my dark magic for now in till we have conquered a town or two." he said. "Not only where they will have some energy to fight, my dark magic will also make them stronger!" He said with an evil smile on his face.
"I thank you King Sombra for helping us, we are in your debt." Queen Chrysalis said while bowing to him.
"Now then, let us be off, we need to find more allies for us to destroy and conquered all of Equestria." King Sombra said with an evil smile.
"Lets." Queen Chrysalis said also having an evil smile on her face.
They both started laughing and then flew of in the night sky.

Mean while in Canterlot....

"Princess Celestia!" a guard said while running in panic with a letter hovering above him.
"I have urgent news from Los Pegasus, they sent a SOS saying that they where under attack by a pack of Diamond Dogs." He said in a very scared tone.
"Diamond Dogs?! That's impossible, those dogs are dumber then dodo bird. How where they able to attack Los Pegasus, they couldn't have been able to because that's the seventh most safest place here in Equestria!" Princess Celestia said in a very shocked tone.
"There are about 107 royal guards there protecting it from harms way, how in the buck were they able to conquer Los Pegasus? What makes these dogs so different from the rest?" Princess Celestia said in a concerned tone.
"They where stronger, faster, and very well organized! They also just sent this message to you princess. It's from there leader." The guard said as he began reading the message.
"Greetings Princess Celestia, my army has conquered Los Pegasus and we are not done yet. You should surrender now or all of Equestria will suffer our wrath!" Signed King Sombra.
"King Sombra! But that's impossible! Twilight and her friends defeated him at the Crystal Empire! He should have been destroyed! I don't know how he has survived but we must let the others know right now!" Princess Celestia said in a very concerned voice.
She pulled out a letter and started writing.
"To my dearest and most faithful student Twilight Sparkle. I need you and your friends to come here immediately! This is very important! Bring the Elements of Harmony with you, since you will need them in the journey that I will inform you of when you all get here." Signed Princess Celestia.
She then sent the message immediately right after she finished it.
"I do hope they get here quickly." She said in a worried tone.

1 Hour later....

"Princess Celestia! We came here as soon as possible! I am sorry for the wait Princess." Twilight said as she almost lost her breath from running so much.
"Don't worry about it Twilight. Now the reason why I called you all here is because I have terrible news. King Sombra has returned and he is not alone." Princess Celestia said in a concerned voice.
"King Sombra!" the main 6 said in a very shocked tone.
"But we defeated him at the Crystal Empire, how is he still alive!" Twilight said in a very shocked tone.
"I don't know how Twilight, but he is back and he has an army. It seems like he has allied with the Diamond Dogs and I don't know who else yet, but they already took over Los Pegasus. It seems like he made the Diamond Dogs much more powerful using his dark magic." Princess Celestia said in a concerned tone.
"Excuse me Princess, but..... HOW IN THE HAY ARE WE GOING TO FIGHT AN ARMY!?" Applejack yelled.
"Ya what are we going to do? Its not like we have a secret weapon or somepony that can help us win this war.Do we?" Rainbow Dash said with a worried look on her face.
"Sadly we do not have a secret weapon Rainbow Dash, but maybe there is somepony who can help us." Princess Celestia said with a small smile
"Who?! they all said in a surprised tone.
"Not much is known about this alicorn...but he may be able to help us. For what i can remember is that this Alicorn...is Death himself." Princess Celestia said with a grin.
Fluttershy's eyes widen "D-death?...H-he sounds kinda scary." Fluttershy said in a very scared tone.
"Well...all i can remember for his personality is that, he is a very kindhearted pony, who protects ponies from harms way. But......I'm not sure how he will react to us.." Princess Celestia said in a worried tone.
"Well that Alicorn is all we have to help us win this war... Where is he?" Twilight said as she looked at the princess with a concern look*
Celestia sighed "Sadly....nopony knows where his whereabouts are....but before this situation started, i was looking through Star Swirl the Bearded library, when I found a secret chamber hidden behind a book shelf." Princess Celestia said as her tone was a bit shaky as if she was embarrassed of something
Twilight looked at her mentor with a confused look as why her mentor sounded embarrassed "How where you able to find it Princess?" Twiligh said as she looked at her mentor with curiosity in her eyes
Princess Celestia's eyes widen after she herd her student asked her that "W-well um...y-you see..um....." Celestia said in a shaky voice as if she embarrassed to say how she found it "Um...oh, now i remember! I pulled out a book and when I did, the book shelf um...disappeared, and the chamber was revealed! Yes that's it, I pulled out a book and that's how i found it, heh...." Celestia said as she rubbed the back of her head with her hoof as she looked away for a second as if she was completely embarrassed about something.
All of a sudden the doors opened behind them and spike came running through it, holding a letter in his hand. "Twilight!!!! I have a message for you!!!"
Twlight turned around and saw spike running towards her. "Spike?! What are you doing here? We all ready got the message from Celestia that we need to come here!" She said as she looked at spike as he stopped to catch his breath.
Spike took a couple of deep breaths as he stood there in front of them. After he'd finish catching his breath he began to speak. "I know, I know..but this is from Princess Luna!" Spike said as he handed her the letter.
Celestias eyes widen at the letter, because she knew what her sister must have written in there. But just before she had the chance to stop them from opening the letter, it was to late. When twilight opened the letter a magic holographic picture of Luna emerged from the letter and began to speak. "Dear Twilight, I am guessing thou has made it to thy throne room by now and are speaking to my sister. By now my sister must have told you a lie on how she found that hidden chamber thou has spoke of." The holographic Luna looked up at towards Princess Celestia who was sweating a bit but looking at the holo-Luna with anger.
After 5 seconds of Celestia glaring at holo-Luna and holo-Luna smirking at Celestia, holo-Luna spoke again. "Sister, you mustn't lie to our friends and subjects, what kind of example are you setting as Princess of thou Sun? You must show them thy truth, instead of lies, or else I will have to show them my self. Its your choice Sister. Take care everpony!" Holo-Luna grinned before her image disappeared. Celestia was quite upset but instantly cooled down after seeing, her student and her friends looking at her with concern eyes.
"Princess, tell us what really happened." Twilight said at her teacher with a bit of disappointment in her teacher for lying.
Celestia sighed and looked at them with a bit of sadness and guilt. "Fine....I'll will tell you what happened......better yet, I'll show you what happened..." She said as she used her magic to show them what really happened on a magic hologram from her memories.
What really happened
When she used the spell, it showed her memories in third person view. After 6 seconds Celestia started to speak. "There has to be a spell in one of these books that lets you be great at video games! I'm tired of my little sister always beating me at them!" Celestia said with frustration in her voice as she looked at the book she was looking through for that certain spell that may not even be there, or even exist! When suddenly a pesky fly started to bother her bye flying around her. "...Grrr, I'm can't concentrate with this fly bothering me!" She said with anger in her voice.
She started to try and shew the fly away "Shew! Go away and bother somepony else!" The fly continue to bug her multiple times until....She snapped and started to use the Royal Canterlot Voice "THAT IS IT!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!! THOU HAS TICKED ME OFF FOR THEE FINAL TIME!!!" She said with complete anger as her mane bursts into blueish and light purplish flames. The fly then started to fly away from her as if it was scared of her now.
She looked at the fly with complete anger and hatred "THOU SHALL NOT ESCAPE ME!!! PREPARE TO BE VANQUISHED FOUL BEAST!!" Celstia said as she then fired a big fire ball at the fly which was on a bookshelf.The fireball incinerated the entire book shelf including the fly. Celestia immediately calm down as she saw what she had done. Smoke came from the ashes from what was previously a bookshelf. Her eyes widen with complete shock as she made a very big uh oh.
Everpony started bursting up with laughter. When they herd her call the fly a foul beast.
"Oh no....WHAT HAVE I DONE!!! THOSE BOOKS COULD HAVE BEEN IMPORTANT!! What should I do?! If any pony found out about this, it would ruin my reputation as a princess!!" Princess Celestia panicked from her big uh oh and tried to think of a way to fix this uh oh or cover it up like it never happened. But as soon as the smoke cleared up, there was a small chamber that was behind the wall. Her eyes widened again once she saw the small hidden chamber. She walked forwards towards it slowly, since she didn't know what was in it.
"I don't remember this chamber being built here, nor have I even knew about it in the first place." She said as she entered the small chamber. As she looked around she saw many old books, that were at least 1,000 years old or so, dust covered every book and cobwebs hung from the ceilings. "Oh my....when i get out of here, I'm going to have my maids and servants clean this place up. This place is completely dirty 100%!" She said in a disgusted and concern voice. Suddenly she saw a small light up ahead "Huh?....I wonder what that could be?" Celestia said as she got closer to the small light.
As soon as Celestia turned the corner of where the light was at, she saw candles that had blue flames on them, as if they were made of magic, the candles seemed to have melted a little, but not as much as you would have seen with normal candles. The candles stood on and by a desk that was at the end of the camber wall, Celestia was surprised to see this, and decided to take a look what was on the desk. Once she had arrived at the desk, she saw a very dusty looking scroll that was wrapped up. "Hmm....I wonder what this could be?" She said as she picked up the scroll with her magic and opened it to see what was written inside.
After Celestia opened the scroll, she began to read what was written on it. "To whom may ever find this scroll, a great evil will awaken once more, darkness shall fall all over Equestria and possibly, every living thing there is in existence. The reason I know this is because I knew the pony who sealed that evil away, which came with a price for him sealing that evil away. He said to me before he turned to stone, was that he saw a vision of a war....a war against that same evil he had sealed away. He didn't know when and how...but he knew it was going to happen...that is why I am writing where you can find him, and possibly...release him so that he can help you win this upcoming war. Tia, if your the one who found this, here is what you must do in order to release him from his slumber." Celestia was shocked to see that a great evil was coming, especially surprised that the writer knew her nick name.
She shook her head in order for her to snap her out of her shock. She then began reading again. "There are 5 important things you must have in order to awaken him from his slumber. The first thing you will need to do is that you must have the Elements of Harmony. I know you will do well on finding the 6 chosen ones that will reactivate the Elements of Harmony and help bring peace and harmony in Equestria. The second thing you will need is to use your's and Lu Lu's magic since you will need both the magical energy of the sun and moon. The Third thing you need is the chaotic energy of a Draconequis. I'm sure your friend discord may help on that part. The forth step you must do is past the three trials of the Grim Colt, but I'm sure you all do quite well on them. The very last step is the most important of them all! After you have revived him, you must help him destroy the 10
"The Everfree Forest!" The main 6 said in a very scared tone.
"But that place is dangerous at nighttime and very scary!" Fluttershy said now shivering in fear.
"I know it is, that is why i am coming with you, you will need my magic to wake him up too.We shall depart when the sun goes down Luna and Discord are all ready there waiting for us. We will need Discords Chaotic power and my sisters magic to wake him up as well." Princess Celestia said a grin.
"Then let us be off then, shall we everypony?" Twilight said in a nervous but happy tone.
"YEAH!" They all said.
"Then lets go save Equestria!" Twilight said with a smile.
They all cheered and set off towards the Everfree Forest.

Mean while in Los Pegasus....

"King Sombra, we have intel from our Changling spy." the Diamond Dog intell chief said.
"Good, what does he say?" King Sombra said in a pleased tone.
The Diamond dog began to read the letter.
"He says that the Elements of harmony and the Princess sisters are heading to the Everfree Forest to wake up this.....ummmm, sir, are you sure you want to find out what they are going to wake up?" the Diamond Dog said in a very scared and worried tone.
"YES YOU IDIOT!" King Sombra said in a very angry and concerned voice.
The Diamond dog got very scared from King Sombra yelling at him.
"O-ok....i-it says they are going to wake up some kind of Alicorn that can help them beat us to a pulp." the Diamond Dog said with a worried look.
"You think some kind of Alicorn like that can help them?" He said in a slightly anger tone.
"Ummm maybe." the Diamond Dog said in a very scared and worried tone.
"WRONG! My powers has gotten stronger since the last time I was alive, and I found a secret power that I had just unlocked a while ago. This new power of mine can let me open a portal to another dimension. I can get more allies from those other dimensions and also take them over too."King Sombra said in an angry tone. "But just to be on the safe side, we should head out to the Everfree Forest and stop them from waking this Alicorn up. What time did he say they were heading out?" King Sombra said in a concerned tone.
"He said they are heading out when night begins to fall." the Diamond Dog said.
"Good, tell him to keep following them and tell him as soon as they arrive to where they are suppose to go,he should let us know. We should be waiting at another entrance there that I found a while back." King Sombra said with a grin.
"Right away my king." the Diamond Dog said as he was getting ready to leave.
Just when he was about to leave King Sombra called him again.
"Come here, there is one more thing." He said.
"Yes my king?" the Diamond Dog said in a worried tone.
"Bring me one of those magical hand cuffs, we are going to capture Princess Luna so I can extract Nightmare Moons energy so I can bring her back once again. She will be another great allie to us." King Sombra said in a pleased tone.
"Yes my king, but what are we going to do with Princess Lina after we took Nightmare Moon from her?" the Diamond Dog said in a concerned tone.
"We kill her,it will be a warning to everypony in Equestria. Also get my Shadow Dragon ready and put this machine on him as well, so that just in case somepony tries to save her, we will still be able to have Nightmare Moons energy." He said in a pleased voice.
"Right away my king." the Diamond Dog said as he left.
As soon as the Diamond Dog left, King Sombra started laughing in a evil way
"They won't know what hit them Mwahahahahahahaha!"

The Awakening of A New Hero Part 1.

Everfree Forest Entrance.....
"I see the Everfree Forest up ahead girls, and look! it's Princess Luna and Discord!" Twilight said with a grin.
They all started walking towards them and was about to greet them until......
"SURPRISE!" Discord said poping out of nowhere.
"AAHHH!" the main six said in a very spooked tone.
They where very surprised when they just saw Discord or should I say Discords pop up in all of the main sixes faces.
"What the, but we just saw you over there talking with Luna!" Twilight said still in shock from the scare.
"All part of the plan me and Luna made. She wanted to know what a surprise was since she already knows how to scare. So me and Luna came up with a plan. We decide to use my magic to make six clones of my self for each of you to surprise with and I let one of the six clones pretend to talk to her and the original, which is me by the way, scare you my dear Twilight Sparkle. Hahahahaha you should have seen the looks on your faces!" Discord said while he was still laughing at them.
"That was so much fun Discord lets do it again next time." Luna said while she was still laughing as well.
"Hahahahaha!" Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were both laughing.
"They sure got us good. you should possibly join us next time for some pranking around Ponyville, you two would be perfect!" Rainbow Dash said while she was still laughing.
"Ya, that sure was a surprise, usually I do the the surprising but this was my very third surprise from somepony else hahaha!" Pinkie Pie said as she was giggling on her back.
"Everypony, if we're going to win this war, we all need to focus on the task ahead of us!" Princess Celestia said in a somewhat angry tone.
"My apologizes Tia. Me and Luna just wanted to have some fun before we set out to wake up this new Alicorn of yours." Discord said in a sorry but annoyed voice.
"Yes my sister, its not Discords fault, I just wanted to know what a surprise was, its my fault." Princess Luna said in a sad voice.
"It's alright Luna, I can never stay mad at you, but we have to get moving before it's to late." Princess Celestia said in a concerned tone.
"Can we please get going now?" Rainbow Dash said in an impatient tone.
"But It's so dark in there, I really don't want to go in there again" Fluttershy said while she was cowering in fear.
"Sorry Fluttershy, you got no choice, we have to if we are going to win this war" Twilight said in an upset tone.
"Are you sure we are going to be okay Twilight?" Fluttershy said as she was worried about what might happen.
"Absolutely Fluttershy, what can possibly go wrong?" Twilight said in a positive mood
"Alright Twilight, i-if you say so" Fluttershy said as she was still scared of the forest ahead of them.
"But before we go we have to have a plan to go in there just in case we are attacked by a wild animal, okay." Twilight instructed.
But before Twilight was able to tell what the plan was, Pinkie Pie did this.
"All right everypony lets do this PIIIIIIIIIIIKEEEE PIIIIIEEEEE STYLLLLEEE!" Pinkie Pie said as she ran straight into the Everfree Forest willy nilly, just like that.
Everypony just stared in shock as Pinkie Pie just ran in there with out knowing where the temple was at.
"Did she just ran in there?" Twilight said as she was still in shock from what just happened.
"Eeyup." Applejack said as she was still in shock as well.
There was only one word everypony could say except for Fluttershy, and that one word was.....
"BUCK!" Everypony said, except for Fluttershy since she was completely frozen to what had happened.
Twilight grabbed Fluttershy with her magic and placed her in the cart of supplies that the two royal guards where pulling and they all started running into the forest after Pinkie Pie.
However they didn't know they left one royal guard behind which really wasn't a royal guard. It was the Changling spy.
It then started to change back to its original form and flew off towards King Sombra and the others.
30 minutes later.....
"King Sombra! They just started heading out towards the temple, but there was kinda of an awkward moment there." the Changling spy said with awkward look on his face.
"Good let me see." King Sombra said with a very pleased tone.
He placed his horn on the Changling and saw what he saw. He even saw the awkward moment with Pinkie Pie and was also a bit shocked by the look on his face Derp.
"Wow, that was kinda awkward." King Sombra said still in shock from that too.
"Well then, never mind that now, lets get going to that temple and stop those pitiful ponies. Be sure you keep an eye on my dragon and follow it, you do not want to get lost in these woods at night time alone, and what ever you do, DO NOT PICK UP ANY PIECES OF PAPER WITH WORDS ON IT OR ELSE YOU ARE A GONER!" King Sombra said in a very concerned voice.
"Yes my king." they all said except for one Diamond Dog who wasn't paying attention at all, he was kinda spacing out that time.
"Lets move out!" King Sombra said as he flew of with his shadow dragon.
They all headed out towards the temple themselves except for that same Diamond Dog still spacing out.

"I can't believe we are at war with those ponies, I can't wait to slaughter them all, they will be begging for mercy hahahaha." he said in his mind.
"Well then I better stop thinking to myself and pay attention to my king." he said to himself in his mind.
As soon as he was done spacing out and was about to listen to his king he noticed they all left him behind.
"Aw shoot they left me, I better go see where they went, also, what did my king say something about paper?" he said to himself.
"What ever you do pick up all the papers you see and slaughter any pony you see Diamond Dogs." the fake flash back of King Sombra said.
"I think that's what he said." he told himself and started wandering into the Everfree Forest by himself.

Note: Your probably saying to your self right now "man that is one stupid Diamond Dog there." and yes he is very very stupid indeed but he is very good at slaughtering things with out thinking. That is all. Now on to the rest of the story of Part 1 of the chapter.

"Ah haw Found a piece of paper, huh what the, Don't Look at it or it will take you away, what the heck does it mean by that?" he said to himself.
Suddenly he herd some hoofsteps behind him
He turned around to see a pale white pony in a tuxedo. It stood 20 feet away from him, he was just staring at him doing nothing at l but just stare at him with a blank white face.*
"Ah haw! It time for me to slaughter a PONY ahahaahaha! he said out load.
He then started charging at the pony who was still standing tilting it head in confusion. Usually ponies or other creature run in terror running away from her, but this was a first for SlenderMare. As soon as the Diamond dog got 5 feet away from it, he was about to strike, but then all of a sudden he froze and fell to the ground. As soon as the Diamond Dog opened his eyes, he saw two hooves standing right in front of him. He started looking up and to his shock he noticed tenticles coming from the pony he was about to kill. The last thing he saw was a pale white face from that pony and the last thing he said before he was killed was........

Deep Inside the Everfree Forest....
"Pinkie Pie! Where are you?!" They all said still looking for her in the dark forest.
"Oh I do hope she is alright, I hope nothing bad happened to her." Twilight said in a very worried tone.
"You said it sugar cube. Who knows what else might be out here. Especially after we herd that scream we herd!" Applejack said still spooked from that scream.
It seems like everypony was still scared of that scream they herd especially Discord and the Princesses. When Fluttershy herd that scream she got more scared and froze up again. So Twilight had to put her in that cart again.
All of a sudden....
"BOO!" Pinkie Pie said jumping out of a bush that was in front of them.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" They all said in a very scared tone.
"Hahahahahaaha I got you guys good hahahahaha." Pinkie Pie said as she was still laughing on her back.
"Pinkie Pie you almost gave us a heart attack!" Rarity said in an angry and scared tone.
"We thought you where the one that was screaming a while back and thought something bad happened to you!" Twilight said also in a scared and angry tone.
"Sorry everypony." Pinkie Pie said in a somewhat sad tone.
"We forgive you Pinkie Pie, but you must never do that again. We were very worried about you." Princess Celestia said in a slightly upset tone.
"Oh great, where lost! Its all because we had to look for you Pinkie Pie! Now we are never going to find that dumb temple!" Rainbow Dash said in an angry tone.
"Temple? You mean this one over here?" Pinkie Pie said as she started walking away from them.
Pinkie Pie went over to a giant bush uphead and pushed them aside to reveal a giant temple that looked like a giant pony skull. The doors where its teeth and there where blue flames that seemed to be lit for a very long time.
"When in Equestria did you find it Pinkie!" Twilight said in a surprised yet shock tone.
"Oh I found it right after I herd that scream a while back. It kinda scared me a bit." Pinkie Pie said with a smile on her face.
Fluttershy had just snapped out of being frozen from her fear. In till she saw the temple.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Fluttershy screamed in horror as soon she saw the temple.
She was about to run away in till Applejack and Rainbow Dash stopped her from running away.
"Come on sugar cube, we have no choice but to go in there and wake up this Alicorn." Applejack said trying to calm her down.
"Ya, we got to wake up whats his face if where going to save Equestria." Rainbow Dash said in an annoyed tone.
"B-but it looks so scary from the outside, I can't even imagine what it looks like inside. It might look very scary in there." Fluttershy said in a very scared voice.
"Oh, I hope it's not dirty in there. I don't want get dirty from possibly all that dust in there. Not to mention the cobwebs, yuck." Rarity said in a disgusted voice.
"Hmmmm It does actually look pretty scary to me, and I'm the lord of chaos, I hardly get scared." Discord said trying to look brave.
"Yeah sure, about that Discord? You sure weren't brave when Pinkie Pie scared us all. You kinda looked pale when she scared us. It looked like you where about to faint." Applejack said trying to hold back a laughter from it.
Discord blushed while they where all laughing at him.
"Well then everypony, shall we be off? Princess Luna asked them .
"Yeah!" they all said.
They all started walking towards the temple doors which where giant old teeth. Fluttershy was still scared of the temples appearance but stilled managed to go into the temple.
As soon as they walked in they saw a long hallway that looked very suspicious. It has torches with the same kind of flames as the ones outside of the temple. There were also pony skulls with candles in them, but with different colors lit like red, blue, green, orange, yellow, purple, black, and white, all on each side leading towards another door. But that's not all they saw, they saw strange stone tiles on the ground. There were only do different ones. One looked like angel wings and the other that looked like devil horns. There was also a pedelstal that had a stone book on it.
"Huh, whats that?" Twilight said as soon as she saw the book.
She began reading it
"It says, Are you good or are you bad. Who are you, at where you stand? What the hay does that mean?" Twilight said in confusion.
"Hmmmmmm I wonder." Princess Celestia said in curiosity.
Princess Celestia used her magic to pick up one of the skulls that were laying around on the ground and threw it towards the devil horns. When the skull landed on the devil horns, giant black flames came up from that tile and burned the skull into nothing but ashes in a second.
"Ooh my." Fluttershy said as she saw the skull burn like it was nothing.
"Don't step on the devil horns! If you do, you burn just like that skull!" Princess Celestia said with warning.
"Can't we just fly over?" Rainbow Dash said as she pointed at her wings.
When Rainbow Dash tried flying over she was instantly pulled to the ground.
"What the hay!?" she said wondering why she was pulled to the ground.
"This is a very magical and sacred place Rainbow Dash. Flying and magic won't work for this part of the test." Princess Celestia said with great instruction.
"Wait a minute princess, did you say tests?" Twilight said in a confused tone.
"Oops, I may have forgotten to tell you all that this wasn't going to be easy to wake him up and that there where going to be tests in this temple." Princess Celestia said in embarrassment.
"Ack!" They all said as they fell to the floor because Princess Celestia could have warned them about the tests.
"I am truly sorry that I didn't tell you before. I was just to worried about this war, that I forgot to tell you about the tests. Heheh, sorry." She said rubbing her hoof behind her head in embarrassment.
"How many tests are there princess?" Twilight asked with great concern.
"As to what I can barely remember, I think there are only three. I can't remember what they are. But they get more harder then the last." Princess Celestia with a worried tone.
"So what are they about Princess?" Twilight asked.
"Sadly I don't remember Twilight. But it seems like this one wants to see if you walk the side of good or evil. That's what the angel wings and the devil horns mean." Princess Celestia said.
"We must be very careful at where we step. One false step on those devil horns and your a goner." She warned.
"Okay then, lets get going before the night is over everypony!" Princess Luna said with anticipation.
They all started jumping on the angel wings one at a time. There where a few close calls, but they managed to get across the tiles. Fluttershy had a very hard time getting across, but Pinkie helped her out with the old a hop, skip, and a jump tactic. Good thing there wasn't any cliffs in the way this time.
"Few, we finally made it. So whats next?" Rarity asked
"Lets find out. The next test should be in the next room." Princess Celestia said as she was pointing to the door.
They went through the door and to their shock they saw a graveyard with caskets that where closed. There they saw another pedestal with another stone book on it.
"Goodness me this place is really starting to creep me out a lot." Rarity said with scared tone.
"I r-really w-want to hurry t-this up now, p-please i-if you d-don't m-mind." Fluttershy said while shivering in complete fear of this place.
"Alright, lets get this test over with shall we." Twilight said while they walked to the stone book.
"Lets see what this says hmmmmmm. It says the ones of the fallen shall rise again, lay them to rest or else your dead! What the hay does that mean or else your dead?" Twilight said in confusion.
Just as soon as she finished reading from the book they noticed all of the caskets rise upward facing them.
"Whats happening Twi?" Applejack asked as she was now starting to get very scared.
"I don't know!" Twilight responded.
All of a sudden the caskets opened to reveal 10 undead skeletons. The skeletons started to move on their own towards the group.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" They all screamed when they saw the skeletons move closer to them.
"What are we going to do! Without our magic and wings were doomed!" said Rarity as she was about to faint.
"There just nothing but bones! We can take them!" Rainbow Dash said as she started charging at them with great force.
Rainbow Dash ran straight into all of them and they all fell apart like they where nothing.
"See, what did I tell ya, that was way to easy." Rainbow Dash said from her accomplishment of defeating them.
"Yeah, to easy to be exact." Discord said as he was expecting the bones of one of them.
All of a sudden the bones started shaking and rose up from the ground. As soon as they did, Discord backed off from them.
"It's not over yet everypony!" Twilight said as she was preparing for them to put them selves back together again.
"What are we going to do sister? We can't destroy them!" Princess Luna said as she was holding onto her sister in fear.
"I don't know my dear sister. But it seems like we may have met our match." Princess Celestia said while holding her sister around her.
Twilight then noticed the caskets were still opened. A spark came from her eyes and she realized what they must do.
"I think I know how to defeat them!" Twilight said with a grin on her face.
"How Twilight?" Princess Celestia asked with great concern
"Remember what the book said! The ones of the fallen shall rise again, lay them to rest or else your dead. Lay them to rest, that's it! It wants us to put the skeletons back into the caskets!" Twilight said with a grin on her face.
"Twilight your a genius!" Princess Celestia said with great pride for her student.
"I know." Twilight said with a smile on her face.
"Here's the plan. Pinkie do you have your party canon?" Twilight asked.
"I never leave home with out it!" Pinkie said as she pulled it out of no where.
"Good. Applejack and Rainbow Dash, I want you two to keep on taking those skeletons out and make sure they don't get up." Twilight instructed.
"On it!" The two of them said as they went to keep the skeletons knocked down.
"Rarity, can you watch over Fluttershy?" Twilight asked.
"I'll do my best Twilight!" Rarity said with a smile on her face.
"Discord, I want you to get near the caskets and close them as soon as they are inside of them! Twilight said with great concern.
"You betcha my dear Twilight!" Discord said happily as he got near the first casket ready to close it.
"The rest of us will pick up the bones and load them into Pinkie's party canon so that she can blast them straight into the caskets. But we have to pick them up quick or else they will regenerate." Twilight said with great concern.
"Lets do this everypony!" Princess Celestia said.
"YEAH!" They all said and went forward with the plan.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash made sure they did't get up. The rest of them got the bones of each skeleton with great heist and put them inside of Pinkie's party canon one at a time. Pinkie Pie then shot each of the skeletons into their caskets. Discord finally closed each of them as soon as they went inside.Rarity was calming Fluttershy down from what was happening.Then with one finale blast from Pinkie's party canon, she shot the last skeleton into his casket. Discord closed the last one and all of a sudden, they noticed all of the caskets glowing with a white light from inside. Then all of a sudden a door appeared out of no where.
"We did it everypony, lets get going to the finale test!" Twilight said with a big smile on her face.
"Yeah!" They all said.

They all walked into the next room and to there surprise was a giant throne room just like Princess Celestia's Throne room. The Grim Colt's Chamber Room
As they continued walking down the hall, they noticed 4 stain glass with some strange pictures on them. It seemed like it was telling the story of The Grim Colt and how his life went before he went into slumber.
"Wow, this place is amazing!" Twilight said as she continued looking at the windows.
"I wonder what they mean?" Discord said as he got closer to them.
"Well then, lets find out what that book says." Twilight said as they continued walking to it.
When they got closer they noticed a statue of an Alicorn. To there surprise they noticed that the horn of that Alicorn was not on his forehead, instead it was on top of his nose. What even surprised them more is that the Alicorn's wings and tail was made out of what seems to be bones. Also his top part of his face was hidden behind the top half of an unknown skull. On his two front hooves, they noticed he was wearing some kind of armor that had three sharp metal claws.
"Oh.......my. H-he looks very s-scary." Fluttershy said as she hid behind Rarity in fear.
"So this is what he looks like. Huh, I have to admit, he does look kinda scary." Rainbow Dash said as she observed him.
"All right then, shall we see what this book says?" Twilight asked them.
They all nodded yes in reply to Twilight.
"It says, Long ago when Equestria was made, the great Creator of all life in made ponies, plants, and animals. He gave these ponies special talents know as Cutie Marks To represent their special talents. He made ponies with wings to fly which are called Pegasuses , ponies with horns to control magic tat are called Unicorns, ponies without either of them, but made them fast and strong on their legs that are called Earth Ponies, and some ponies with both wings and horns that are called Alircorns. The great Creator couldn't take the souls of ponies when they died, so he made a very special Alicorn. He named him The Grim Colt. He gave The Grim Colt a Death Scythe that lets him take the souls of ponies when they die." Twilight said in amazement as she continued reading the book.
Twilight continued reading. "One fateful day, an evil Alicorn named Shadow Fang , had spread evil across Equestria with his dark magic. The Grim Colt fought Shadow Fang's evil. The battle lasted 10 days. On the Tenth Day, The Grim Colt used all of is magic to seal away Shadow Fang away for a very very long time. He split Shadow Fang into 10 dark fragments and sent him across 9 Dimensions at random. The last dark fragment is hidden some where in Equestria. But when he sealed Shadow Fang away, it came with a price." Twilight and the others were very surprised at what they herd.
Twilight began reading the last part of the story. "The price was that The Grim Colt had to lose his physical form.He would still have his spirit form so that he can still collect ponies souls. When the great Creator saw The Grim Colt's good deed, he made a temple in honor of him. He also put three tests in order to protect him from evil ponies who wants to destroy him. Only good ponies could past the first two. But for the third test, just in case an evil pony got through, he made sure that when it was midnight and the full moon's light entered the chamber room. That pony would be trapped in there for the rest of his or her life! The only way to escape this imprisonment was to free The Grim Colt's physical form. That is last test for this temple to see if you are truly the ones to free him." Twilight finished reading the book.
They where all in shock from what they all herd especially Princess Celestia.
All of a sudden, the moons light hit the statue signaling the last test has begun.
"All right every pony! We don't have much time in till the light from the moon disappears. So we have to do this now!" Twilight said with great concern.
"Right!" They all said.
Twilight gave the Elements of Harmony to the other five.
They all got into their positions and waited for Twilight's command.
"Everypony ready?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah!" They all said.
"Alright, lets do this!" Twilight instructed.
They combined all of their magic together and hurled it straight towards the statue.
When the magic hit the statue, the statue started glowing very brightly.
When the statue stop glowing it seemed like it didn't work. But then it started cracking.
The statue began shaking and the eyes of the statue opened up to reveal yellow and blue eyes. Then all of a sudden, there was a blinding white light that lit up the entire room.
They all covered there eyes when the light hit. When they opened their eyes they saw The Grim Colt alive and staring right at them with a very angry glare.
They were all very scared when they saw this.
All of a sudden, he summoned his Death scythe and started running straight towards them.
He leaped into the air and attacked. They didn't know who he had attacked because they had their eyes closed when he did.
They opened their eyes and turned around in shock as they saw him kill a Changling that was about to kill Fluttershy from behind.
The Changling was shocked when it was stabbed in the heart by The Grim Colt's Death Scythe.
"Buck you!" The Changling said towards The Grim Colt right before it died.
He turned around with a grin on his face towards Fluttershy still in shock from what just happened.
"Greetings." He said.
As soon as he said that Fluttershy fainted from complete fear.
"Was it something I said?" He asked in confusion.
They all had their mouths hanging from what just happened.

Crisis In The Temple Part 1
Note: I hoped you all like part 2 of The Awakening of A New Hero! I am sorry to say that this Chapter is another two parter because I don't have enough time today for the full chapter. Crisis In The Temple Part 1....

"What is taking that Changling so long? That special dagger I gave him can kill anything with one stab. He should have been done killing them by now!" King Sombra said in an angry tone.
King Sombra noticed an intel Changling flying straight towards them with a somewhat scared look on his face.
"King Sombra! I have grave new from Queen Chrysalis. She says that the Changling assassin she gave you, is............ dead." the Changling said with a sad look on his face.
"That's impossible! Who killed it! I demand to know!" King Sombra said in a very angry tone.
"She says he was killed by.......him." The Changling said with a very scared look on his face.
As soon as that Changling said him, King Sombra's face grew with anger.
"That's it! We are going in! I just have to charge up my magic, so I can teleport us all in. It will take some time though." King Sombra said with an angry tone.
"Understood!" They all said.

Mean while in the temple.......

"Are you all alright?" The Grim Colt said with a worried look on his face.
They all snapped out of their shock and nodded yes in reply to the Grim Colt's question.
"That's good. Now what are your names. I must know who I am thanking for freeing me from my imprisonment." He said with smile.
The first one to speak was Pinkie Pie.
"HI I'M PINKIE PIE! she said with a big smile on her face.
"Why hello there Pinkie Pie, nice to meet you." He said with a smile one his face.
"Howdy their partner. Names Applejack." Applejack said while she tipped her hat.
"Howdy to you to Applejack." He said tipping his hood trying to greet her the same way.
"Names Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in Eqeustria and future Wonderbolt captain!" Rainbow Dash said proudly.
"Nice to meet you Rainbow Dash. How about we race next time. I do need to practice my flying again." He said with a grin.
"Sure why not." Rainbow Dash said with a grin on her face.
"Hello there darling, my name is Rarity pleased to meet you. I can make you a new robe if you want. That robe looks very old and beaten up." Rarity said while inspecting his robe.
"Oh you don't have to Rarity, I'm perfectly okay with what I am wearing." He said with a smile.
"Oh I insist. Your an Alicorn. You deserve a brand new robe." Rarity insisted.
"I guess, but instead of making a new one, could you fix it up. The great Creator gave this robe to me. It is very precious to me." He said.
"Oh, I didn't know how precious it is to you. I make sure it looks brand new." Rarity said with a grin.
"Thank you kindly Rarity." He said with a warming smile to her.
"Your welcome." Rarity said with a smile.
"Greetings, my name is Twilight Sparkle." She said with a smile on her face.
"Greetings Twilight. Wait a minute, Aren't you an Alicorn?" He asked her with a confused look on his face.
"Why yes, yes I am." Twilight answered
"Aren't you a princess then?" He asked with a confused look on his face.
"Yes, why do you ask?" She said with a worried look on her face.
"Then shouldn't I call you Princess Twilight Sparkle?" He said with a confused look.
"Oh no, that's alright. Twilight is fine." She said with a heartwarming smile on her face.
"Okay then, as you wish Twilight." He said with a smile.
"My name is Discord. How do you do?" He said as he bowed to show his respect.
"Grand Discord, just grand." He said with a smile.
"That's good to hear." Discord said with a smile.
"My name is Luna,Princess Luna, ruler of the night and this is my older sister." Princess Luna said while she look at her sister.
"Greetings, my name Celestia, Princess Celestia, ruler of the day. Me and my sister, Princess Luna, rule over equestria side by side." Princess Celestia said with a warm smile to the Grim Colt.
"It's honor to meet you Princess Celestia and Princess Luna." He said with a smile.
"Who this one?" He said looking at Fluttershy, who was still fainted from her fear.
"Fluttershy!" They all said as they ran to her.
"I can't believe we forgot about her! We were so in shock from what just happened, that we forgot that she fainted! Twilight said with an upset look on her face.
"Fluttershy huh. Is she alright?" He asked with a worried look on his face.
"She should be. She only just fainted. She should wake up right about.......now." Rarity said with a slight worried look on her face.
Just like Rarity said, Fluttershy woke up just like that.
"What, where am I! Was it just a dream?!" Fluttershy said with a slightly frighten look on her face.
"No, my dear Fluttershy, It's real alright. Look for yourself." Discord said to her with a grin on his face.
Fluttershy turned around and looked straight at the Grim Colt who was looking at her with a friendly smile on his face. As soon as she saw his mask she screamed in horror.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Fluttershy screamed with a very scared look on her face.
"GET THAT SCARY MONSTER AWAY FROM ME! HE GOING TO HURT ME!" Fluttershy screamed while having a few tears running down her face from fear.
When The Grim Colt herd her say that, a very sad look appeared on his face. They saw him shed one little tear from his mask.
"Oh, well sorry to frighten you then." He said with a very sad look on his face.
As soon a she herd that, she felt very guilty for what she said to him that she started walking towards him.
"Oh, I-I'm sorry that I c-called you a monster. It's just that, I am afraid of very scary things." Fluttershy said with a sad look on her face.
"That's alright, ponies make mistake." He said with a heartwarming smile towards her.
When Fluttershy saw this, she smiled back now less afraid of him.
"Your name is Fluttershy right?" He asked her.
"Oh, um y-yes. It's n-nice to meet you." She said with a smile.
"It's nice to meet you too Fluttershy." He said with another heartwarming smile towards her.
"Now then, let me introduce myself. My name is called Grim Colt,The Grim Colt, but you can call me Grim." He said with a grin.
"It's good to meet you Grim." They all said with a smile.
"Likewise." Grim said with a smile as well.
"Well then, shall we inform our new friend about the war?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah." They all said looking towards Grim.
"War, what war?" Grim asked with a worried look on his face.
"Well you see Grim, there is war that's going to happen against good and evil and we need your help." Princess Celestia informed.
"A war against good and evil huh? Who are you fighting?" Grim asked with a concerned tone.
"We are fighting against, three or more evil leaders. We do not know how many though.
"Do you know any of the names of those villains so far?" Grim asked with a concerned look.
"Only three so far." Discord said.
"Their names are?" Grim asked.
"King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, and Captain Rip Jaws." Discord said
"Tell me about them?" Grim asked with a very concerned look.
"King Sombra is a unicorn with a heart as black as night. He is the main leader of their group."Princess Celestia said with an upset look.
"Queen Chrysalis is the ruler of the Changlings." Princess Luna said also with an upset look.
"That thing you killed Grim, that was going to kill Fluttershy is a Changling. Changlings have the power to transform into any pony at will." Twilight said with a concern tone.
"That Changling was going to kill me?!" Fluttershy said with a surprise and scared look.
"Yes, but Grim saved you by killing that Changling before it even had a chance." Twilight said with great concern.
"Oh.......my. Um t-thank you Grim." Fluttershy said while blushing a tiny bit.
"Anytime Fluttershy." Grim said while smiling at Fluttershy.
"Captain Rip Jaws is the leader of the pack of Diamond Dogs. He may be stupid but they don't call him Rip Jaws for nothing." Discord said with a slightly scared look on his face.
"Why is that?" Grim asked with a confused look on his face.
"The reason why they call him Rip Jaws is because of................him ripping ponies to shreds with his giant and very sharp teeth." Discord said with a very upset look.
"Well then, they are all going to pay for what they have done." Grim said with an angry look on his face.
"Well then, lets get going already. We haven't got all day." Rainbow Dash said trying to hurry them all up.
"Wait a minute. If that Changling followed you ponies here, then that means..........he wasn't alone!" Grim said with a shocked look on his face.
All of a sudden, a dark arua formed on the other side of the room. Then all of a sudden, figures started to come out the dark arua, especially a very big one. It was then revealed that a group of shadow Diamond Dogs and a group of shadow Chanlings popped out. That very big figure was a Dragon, and riding on top of it was King Sombra!
"I'm here to take what is mine and destroy you pitiful ponies once and for all!" King Sombra said with a very evil smile on his face.

Important Note From the Author
I am sorry to say everypony but Crisis In The Temple Part 2 will be delayed for a while I don't know how long though but I am very sorry for it. There are four reasons why. The first reason is because I had to fix my previous chapters so that they can sound better. The second reason is because I have to look for the right songs for my next chapter since their is going to be a lot of fighting and the chapter is going to be very long. The third reason is because I am still trying to think of how the next chapter is going to be. The forth and last reason is that I can't think straight right now because of school and other stuff in my life. I truly apologize for the delay of my next chapter.
