I heard them. The cry of thousands trying to capture me, I picked up the pace, running at top speed; even so my pursuers were in the air too.

I panted as my hooves picking up dust,

wind whistled past me as I ran. I felt my eyes starting to water, but not from crying no. Definitely not from crying. I do not cry. But as the dirt and dust sprayed up into my face my vision started to blur.

If I were stupid I would keep on trying to out run my pursuers, but I was smarter than that. When I approached a stone wall I had an idea.

I pulled to a sudden halt then ducked, "Blam!" half of my flying pursuers had missed me and slammed into a cliff, giving me some room to breathe.

But when I thought I was safe I heard a familiar voice; "Get her! She must be destroyed!" my heart smashed, I turned right around to see Ivin.

Ivin, was not the boy from my youth any longer; his fangs speared out like dragon teeth and a deeply cut scar ran down his face. "Charge! While she recovers!" Ivan ordered
