When we last left our hero, she was up against a sky full of changelings. Let's rejoin the action, shall we? The battalion of changelings in the sky bolts toward Venom Moon. Venom Moon gives a loud roar as the battalion dog-piles upon her. (I should also mention that, while all this is going on, Babs Seed is video taping the entire incident!) Venom Moon uses a symbiote smash to knock the pile of changelings away from her. The changelings fly in all directions, smashing into buildings and the statue of Celestia holding a torch. The changelings that remain conscious after that attack begin to grow weaker and weaker as Venom Moon feeds off their magic. A group of changelings tries to fly away, but Venom Moon stops them by webbing their wings together. Venom Moon begins pounding on the changeling Super that had grabbed Babs Seed. As she is about to deliver the final blow, Babs cries out, "Noooooo!" She tells the creature not to kill the changeling, even though it is "garbage". She says it would be wrong. Luna's will breaks through the symbiote's control and Venom Moon continues on her way, flying off into the night. I know, I know. This looks like the end of the story. But trust me, there's more. So, stick around! End of Chapter 2. //-------------------------------------------------------// Final Chapter: Ponyville //-------------------------------------------------------// Final Chapter: Ponyville Hi there, folks! This is the end of the road, so let's see what goes down in Ponyville..... Three and a half hours till day break and Venom Moon has one more stop... Ponyville. Venom Moon hovers in the night sky, the black suit blending into the shadows, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, and Apple Jack run toward city hall as Mayor Mare screams. When they get to city hall, two Mayor Mares stand snarling at eachother! Twilight says, "One must be a changeling!" Rainbow Dash exclaims, "No duh. But which one?" Apple Jack adds, "How'r y'all gonna figure it out?" The five ponies hear a load roar as Venom Moon smashes through the wall. She grabs the Mayor Mare on the right with webs and with a hissing voice says, "Get over here!" Venom Moon "web-slams" the fake Mayor to the ground and she transforms into a changeling! What follows is a "web-slinging, plot-kicking"! Venom Moon pummels the changeling into metaphorical dust! But this changeling sent out a distress signal just as Venom Moon first grabbed her. And now, reinforcements have arrived! A swarm of changelings descends upon Venom Moon. The changelings closing in all around her, Venom Moon activates "symbiote spikes!" Skewered changelings fall to the ground. The hidden changelings in Ponyville reveal themselves and move in on Venom Moon. Her precognition activates and she uses "symbiote smash" to push them back. Venom Moon gallops toward waves and waves of changelings. She gallops and flaps her wings to gain speed, and kicks changelings to the side as she runs. She sends out tentacles to grab each changeling around her and pulls them in. She then shouts out, "FEED!" and drains the changelings of their magic. Over and over, she repeats this process until the changelings are all weak and defeated. With nothing left to do, the changelings limp away. Venom Moon has won another battle. With dawn minutes away, Rainbow Dash shouts out (as seen in MLP: FIM episode 1), "ARE YOU A SPY!?" Venom Moon rushes toward Rainbow Dash and roars in her face, "RRRRRAAAAAAA!" And she flies away to avoid the sun. Back at Canterlot castle, Venom Moon collapses onto Luna's bed. The symbiote retracts and Luna is herself again. The memories of that night flash through Luna's head as she tries to sleep and she wakes up screaming. Okay, readers. You get the picture of what happens next, since you've already read my first story, Venom Moon! If you haven't read it yet, read it NOW!!! End of Final Chapter. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: That Fateful Night //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: That Fateful Night Well, well, well. Look what Opalescence dragged in: it's our readers! Well, I'm sorry, so very sorry, but I don't have a story for..... HA! HA! HA! HA! Sorry but I could not write that with a straight face! Well, any way, on with the story.... We start with some classical music orchestrated by Octavia... The princess of the night visits every filly and colt in the their nightmares, to help fix their problems. However, there seem to rarely be any nightmares. Which is good. I mean, nopony wants nightmares! So the goddess of the night flies from one city to the next. As it draws close to the rise of the sun, Princess Luna grows weary. Half asleep, she flies back to Canterlot castle. Meanwhile, a meteor hurdles through the darkness of space, bounces off the T.A.R.D.I.S., and enters the air space of the outskirts of Canterlot. Then, as suddenly as it entered, BANG! It hit! The cosmic rock hit! I believe you remember what happened in my previous story, Venom Moon. So I'll just skip to what happens when Luna's vision goes dark... After the symbiote attaches itself to Luna, she passes out. The symbiote takes control over Luna's motor skills. As they fly toward Manehattan, Babs Seed sees the silhouette of the creature against the moon. Babs Seed is then attacked by a changeling Super. Venom Moon detects the attack using the precognition power and rushes in for an attack. She grabs the changeling Super with her webs and tosses the changeling Super into the air. This is quickly followed by a "downer cut". Then, the changeling Super calls in his squad. The sky filled with changelings. End of Chapter 1. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Fillydelphia //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Fillydelphia Well, here we are again: you, me, and the characters in the story. Here we go! START THE STORY! We join our hero on a route to Fillydelphia. As she flew from one city to the next, the symbiote seemed to be getting more and more control over Luna. Venom Moon finally arrived at Fillydelphia. As a young mare confesses her love to the dashing stallion in front of her, Venom Moon swoops in, picks him up, and drops him. When the dashing stallion hits the ground, it is revealed that he is a changeling. The changeling gets up and attacks Venom Moon. Venom Moon and the changeling engage in high-speed, hoof to hoof combat in the air. Every blow is blocked by the others' blows. Then, Venom Moon blinds him using webbing. She grabs the changeling and rams her back knee into the his stomach. She begins to feast on his magic, because it is strong from the love of the mare below. After weakening the changeling, Venom Moon puts him into a sleeper hold. It takes her about a minute to put him to sleep, then she drops her prey to the ground. And with a loud roar, she leaves Fillydelphia and the poor mare is left to mourn her loss. As you can see, the changeling did not even have time to send out a distress call before being dispatched by Venom Moon. So this area was secure and Luna moved on to the next. We now join Princess Celestia in her bed chamber. The sound of a scroll being sent via dragon wakes her up. Celestia, a little dazed after waking from a long sleep, sees the video crystal sent by Babs Seed. The crystal reveals to Celestia an alicorn-shaped monster dispatching battalions of changelings. She exclaims, "Oh, my! What could that be?" But now Celestia must get ready to raise the morning sun. She brushes her mane and tail and gets on her crown. She says to herself, "Perhaps I can investigate this after I start the day." End of Chapter 3.
