(Major spoilers for Mother 3!)
It was all over for Lucas, perhaps in a good way. The end of the world as we know it was happening, most of his family was dead, but at least he still had his companions. What if some unknown force we have yet to grasp gave him a second chance? What if it wasn't all over? That is where our story begins.
