It was mid-day, wonderful and warm. The heat was quite intense, actually. I was out walking with my friends, getting ready to help Chie with how to use her Shikai. A Shikai is the first release of a Zanpakuto in which it allows the user to use new abilities. A Zanpakuto is a sword that Soul Reapers use, each one is unique to each Soul Reaper and is kinda a piece of their owner in a way that I still have trouble grasping. Despite how much I look into. Eventually, we arrived at our training spot and had Chie ready herself. Rika, Makato, Maki and I all prepared ourselves for the training session.

"You ready, Chie? We'll start whenever you're ready." I shouted. Chie drew her Zanpakuto and held it in front of her, and released her Shikai.

"Blaze, Doragen!" She called as her Zanpakuto glowed. The blade was now longer and was leaking fire, the heat that radiated from it was horrific when combined with the sun from that day. The girls and I drew our own Zanpakuto and attacked. Chie had fired fireballs at us right off the bat. Rika had avoided them easily, but the rest of us had to jump back to dodge Chie's attack. As Rika attacked, fire burst from Chie's blade and nearly burned her. She had jumped back and pointed her finger at Chie.

"Way of Destruction No. 1: Thrust!" She shouted as a small beam of energy pushed Chie off balance. Rika took the time to attack, but was surprised when her opponent had blocked the attack. "You have improved, Chie." Rika said with a sense of pride in her voice. She must have been happy that her friend was getting used to recovering from these small and somewhat annoying attacks.

"Thanks, I have been working hard on recovering from that. I always had trouble!" Chie had knocked her back at this point and slashed at her, who had dodged the attack with ease. I decided to stop watching and start fighting, so I rushed in with the new technique I learned. Flashstep. I had actually met up with the "Flash Master" Yoruichi Shihoin and somehow convinced her to help me learn the Flashstep technique. There was a lot of practicing and yelling. At this point I had appeared behind Chie, and waited for her to notice me. When she finally looked back, her eyes had widened in surprise. She swung her Zanpakuto at me, but I managed to block the swing. I pushed her back and swung my Zanpakuto at her. She dodged, but I had used Flashstep again and appeared behind her. She predicted my moves quickly, though, and countered me. She shot me with a fireball, but it wasn't to serious. Chie, being the girl she is, quickly rushed over to me to see if I was okay.

"I'm fine," I told her. "I'm just surprised you were able to keep up with my weaker Flashsteps." I told her. She, once again, gained a look of surprise.

"Flashsteps? How on Earth did you learn to use that technique?!" Makato yelled as she ran over to me. I grinned at this and stood up.

"Well, I had Yoruichi Shihoin teach me when she was walking around Soul Society. However, I believe that the only reason she decided to help me was because I wouldn't stop pestering her about it. She probably dislikes m-" I couldn't finish my sentence before Maki had punch me in the gut.

"Why didn't you teach us how to use it?!" Maki shouted.

"Because I'm still not good at using it. I only learned it a week ago." I tried to be calm about getting punched in the gut, since I have been told my attitude is pretty bad.

"You could have at least told us!" Maki retorted. She wasn't the best at making good points in arguments.

"I couldn't, if I had I wouldn't have been able to use it on Chie and still have it be a surprise." I answered. Maki had almost immediately went from a form of jealous anger to a state where she actually thought about what was happening.

"Oh, well that actually makes sense." She said in a defeated tone. Rika, Chie, and Makato all laughed as I only grinned. Maki was always out to make herself seem like she was better than me, when I thought it was blatantly obvious that it wouldn't do her much good. "Well, should we continue training or not?" She asked.

"Of course!" Makato shouted. Rika nodded in agreement while Chie followed her lead.

"Fine with me. Chie get ready, we're gonna go a little harder on you now. Okay?" I said as I had raised my Zanpakuto. At this point, I had taken into account that I was the only one of us to have a kodachi as my Zanpakuto's standard form. A kodachi is straighter, and smaller then a Katana. I had somehow never noticed it until then, but that didn't stop me.

"Well, let get going!" Makato had shouted before rushing in. I smiled and rolled my eyes.

This is gonna be a good day. I thought to myself, but I wish I only knew how wrong I would be.

____________________________Equestria

At the same time that we trained, unknown to us, there was a disturbance in the land of Equestria. Usually, everything was peaceful. Ponies singing, dancing, playing, and just having a good time. But today was different, there was something amiss, and none of them knew it. At the Southeastern part of Equestria, a figure concealed in a long black robe appeared in a dark room. The figure looked around to see everypony she called in for this "operation". They had all been chatting among themselves for a while now, but when the figure held a hoof up, they all turned to her and stayed silent. The figure looked around and waved her hoof, and out came Discord. Beaten, bloody, and trapped in a magic field. None of them could see this figures face.

"I know that you have no idea why you are here, so I will tell you what I plan and why I selected you." The figure said in a voice that couldn't be qualified as a male or female voice. "I have chosen you because you all have a problem with the Elements of Harmony, each of them has done something to you to make you outcasts by ruining your names. They made you poor, hated, and ridiculed." The figure said, they all nodded, but payed a lot of attention to Discord. Quickly, a light blue unicorn raised her hoof.

"E-excuse me? If you don't mind me asking, who is that?" She asked whilst pointing her hoof at Discord.

"This is the spirit of disharmony and chaos, Discord. A being of incredible power." The figure said in triumph. It was silent for a moment. the silence allowed the unicorn to hear Discord moan from intense pain.

"If he is so strong, then how did you get him here?" A griffin asked.

"I was able to fashion a seal for his magic, so now he is completely useless and can only use magic for what I want!" The figure exclaimed before recomposing. "Anyways, you all have a grudge against the Elements. I can help you get even with them by taking control of this 'peaceful' little kingdom. Celestia has always tried keeping things safe, and failed miserably at times. I want those who have a reason to help me fight against her. You all have a reason to fight her, it is because she never did anything to justify what happened to you. Either that, or she brought harm to you when you were trying to complete your goals." The figure said in a calm manor. They all nodded.

"So, how will we defeat the Elements and Celsetia?" A large black insect pony asked.

"Well, through my free time I was able to make a spell in which I could look into other universes. Though, only for a short time. I could not enter them or take anything from them. However, I knew that if I had Discord's help, I could take the things I want."

"And What would 'the things I want', be?" A deep voice asked from the back of the room.

"Zanpakutos." The the figure said. Everypony in the room had a confused look on their face.

"What are 'Zanpakutos'?" A Minotaur asked.

"Special swords used by beings known as Soul Reapers. They only exist in one other universe and are unique to their owner. Each one has a name and has special properties. While we can't take Zanpakutos from the living, we can take them from the dead." The pony said.

"What do you mean? From the dead?" a Pegasus asked. The cloaked pony turned to her and explained.

"There was once a war between the Soul Reapers and this rogue Soul Reaper named Aizen. He took two other Soul Reapers to the land of Hueco Mundo. This odd land houses beings called Hollows and Arrancars. Hollows are basically corrupted souls with supernatural powers, and Arrancars are Hollows that have removed their masks in order to gain Soul Reaper powers. During the war against Aizen, Aizen had collected the strongest Arrancars. Those Arrancars were known as Espadas. If we were to take the Zanpakutos of the Espadas, we would have similar abilities. However, we would not have the exact power that they had." Everypony looked at each other. "I will leave you to decide. Just know, that if you don't accept, I will wipe your memory clean of this ever happening." The pony said upon leaving. The room was silent, all for the whimpering of Discord.

"Well, I'm in." Said the insect pony. The unicorn and pegasus turned to each other to talk at this point.

"What happened to you?" The unicorn asked the pegasus.

"That jerk Rainbow Dash got me kicked out of the Wonderbolt academy and now I can't get a job! What about you?"

"That dumb Twilight Sparkle made me the laughing stock of all of Equestria!" She shouted before burying her face in her forelegs.

"So, are you two gonna do this?" The griffin asked. The two ponies looked at one another and nodded before turning back to the griffin.

"Yeah, definitely." The pegasus said.

"Well, I may as well join in since I have nothing to do. Seriously, that Fluttershy ended up getting my business shut down and now I'm poor." The Minotaur said. Everypony in the room looked over to the last pony in the room. He sat quietly while weighing his options. Discord, looked up at him, but just so that it still seemed like he was whimpering with his head to the floor.

"I don't have any plans, but I fear that something may arise from this that might get us all killed. However, if we do keep Discord and that pony is as powerful as I believe than I will also join." He finally said.

"Good." They all heard. They whipped their head towards the last pony and saw the figure. Discord almost ended up blowing his cover. "Then we can begin."

Yeah, expecting some dislikes. I hope for some feedback and I hope you like it. I'll get started on fixing "A Colt's Darkness" soon. Also, if you don't understand any of it, go do some research about the anime Bleach and then you might understand it.
