Darkedge awoke with a splitting headache and no memory of the night before, the grey-ish purple unicorn stumbled from his bedsheets and poured himself a glass of water. he shook his purple hair and put on his waistcoat and hat. there was something off about today but he couldnt put his hoof on it, all the windows were open and his room was a mess
"wow, what happened to me last night?" he said as the looked around for some explanation of what happened.
darkedge stepped into the hall almost tripping from his unnerved feeling of waking up in this predicament, the wind hit him like a train as he walked across the hall and down the stairs
"at least downstairs is tidy" he chuckled to himself as he took his keys, ipod and wallet then headed outside listening to some music.
Trottington was a town just southwest of manehatton and it was normally quite quiet so he could hum along and noone would care, there wasnt much to do in town but darkedge had to go get the weekly food so he decided to make it somewhat entertaining, his friend typhlone a bright green pegasus with yellow hair would be meeting him in the middle of town. when darkedge arrived he gave his pal a bro-hoof and they walked towards the town.
"last night was so heavy i cant believe you did that dark" typhlone said laughing.
shocked darkedge asked "what exactly DID happen to me? i cant exactly remember much about it"
typhlones jaw dropped "you really dont know? nothing bad happened so you needn't worry"
there wasn't much left to get so they started heading back to darkedge's house, once there they said thier goodbyes and darkedge trotted inside, he wasn't the kind of pony to go outside that much but his talent didnt need it, he was a coder, he had a machine where he would press the buttons and stuff would happen on the box, darkedge had learned alot of what the different keys did and he could make games and such for other ponies to play.
the screen turned on and a box for text arrived on the screen, a flurry of hoof blurs appeared as darkedge started work on his next game known as a "apocalypse shooter game" there wasnt that many ponies who played his games but the few who did really enjoyed them and asked for more, darkedge had also found a way to let ponies play them on the go called the "gamepony", which he sold in a shop next to his house along with selling the games seperately which ponies didnt mind, he had a large choice of products so people often wanted to try them all, luckily it was easy to copy the games.
luckily darkedge didnt have work today so he decided to organise a trip for next month, he felt that a break was nesesary because he was feeling tired from work, darkedge got out his pen and paper and started writing down ideas of places to go and fun things to do when only one thing came to mind to go to the beach, he left the notes on his desk and jumped on his bed to take a nap.
