Celestia's early morning sun emerged from the seemingly infinite distance as the yellow coated pegasi quietly exited her small cottage door. The woodland creatures crawled out of their little tunnel-like homes as they yawned softly then began to roam their friendly neighborhood. Fluttershy wandered her cottage grounds in search of any animal in need of her assistance until she heard the tweet of a baby bird. She looked to the nearest tree to see a small, nearly featherless chicks . "Dawww!" Fluttershy thought to herself as she continued to adore the sheer cuteness of the baby bird, until a sudden gale of strong wind shook the tree sending the chick descending to it's doom. Galloping at top speed to the what would be the chicks landing spot, she made a jump as she had with Fillamena and caught the chicklett, just in time too. Fluttershy let a sigh of relief as she carefully placed her feathered friend inside his cozy little home. In a minute or 2 the mother bird showed up and gave Fluttershy a friendly grin.
"Hello there, I think you should know that your nest may need a little more twigs because your chick almost fell out." Fluttershy said in the most kind manor. The mother bird turned to her little hatchling, then to her nest, then to Fluttershy, then made a little sound imitating the words. "Can do!" And with that the mother bird spread her long lusterous wings and took off into flight. Though she was too kind on the outside, she facehoofed on the inside,"You know I could've gotten twigs while the mother bird watches her chick, but noooo hmph." She snorted letting out a steam of hot air, but after a half an hour or so she calmed down and turned to enjoy the cuteness of the chick once again. When the mother bird returned and thanked Fluttershy she headed on back to her cottage to take a quick nap, or perhaps have some nice, hot home made tea. The idea of it made her gallop, at what seemed faster than when she galloped to save the chick. Fluttershy arrived at the doorstep in about 3 minutes. She stretched out her hoof to open the door, but it opened by itself, she looked left, right, up and...down. There, patting his feet up and down on the hardwood floor in annoyance, was none other than Angel. The little white bunny looked at her, expecting her to do something. It took about 5 seconds for her to realize, then it hit her. "Oh my!! I am so sorry Angel, I forgot to feed you breakfast, I'd been so carried away with my chores I forgot all about it, don't worry I'll get started on lunch right away and I'm so sorry, oh wait did
I already say that? Well anyways I'm still sorry!" Angel had begun patting her hoof with his tiny foot. "Oh right, sorry about that." And with that, she hovered to her kitchen. She threw in some lettuce, tomatos, potatoes, and much more then began stirring them up into one big salad. She entered the room where Angel was and gave him the salad in a bowl. "Again, very sorry, and don't worry, I'll be back to make dinner, promise." She called out before exiting the cottage door. Fluttershy looked out for any animals needed help with something, until she heard a distant howl. She shuddered lightly, but then just shook it off. "They can't be real, it's just my imagination." She nervously muttered to herself as she walked along. But far in the distance was a creature she knew she'd have to face sooner or later. Her mind, laced with thoughts at the moment, began to drift off, until she heard the soft meow, she headed off to find the little putty cat. That was, until the soft meow, turned into an ear piercing shriek. Fluttershy picked up the pace and soon before her was the putty cat, high in a tree clinging to a branch. She immediately flapped her wings and took off from the ground.Her hooves stretched out, just inches from the kitty until,....the little putty cat let go of it's grip. It was a now or never situation, Fluttershy took a daring dive downards but the cat was falling too fast, the kitty was 6 feet from the ground, 5 feet, 4 feet, time seemed to slow down as the kitty fell it's last 3 feet. Fluttershy covered her eyes from the tragdic scene as she hovered down, until she heard............a soft put. There standing on all fours, was the little putty cat, still in one piece. The scene brought a smile to her face as she teared lightly.
" I forgot that cats always land on their feet." She managed to giggle as the kitty walked away then settled in a small patch of soft grass.

Glazes of orange and yellow tinted the sky as Fluttershy tended to a small porcupine whom had fallen flat on his back. She carefully picked him up from his sides and gently placed him right back up. The little spiky fellow replied with a warm smile as if to say "Thank You"
"Oh it was nothing, really," She modestly spoke. "Now you be more careful from now on okay?" The porcupine nodded in agreement then slowly walked to his home as the barely audible pitter patters of his feet faded away. Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief before she began, "Phew I'm beat, it's getting dark so I'd better be heading home now and feed Ang-" She was cut off by a sudden howl. Her eyes widened as turned to the forest trembling. There before her, were dozens of glowing green eyes staring directly at her. She'd heard Granny Smith's story about them, but refused to believe that such beasts lived in the Everfree. Now, the only thing standing between her and the lurking Timber Wolves, was a rough 10 feet. One reaction she'd always chosen to do in a time of peril............PANIC!!! And with that she set off for her cottage in a dead run her wings frozen in place due to fear from the Timber Wolves, closing in from behind.

Fluttershy didn't stop to think about anything except the door to her cottage, at least until she saw Angel stepping out of the door and gently hopping to her, not noticing the growling Timber Wolves closing in from Fluttershy's flank. She didn't have the breath to talk, even less to shout of the oncoming danger to him so she lowered her head and plopped him up onto her back, but he was barely able to grip her mane before he turned his head to see the ferocious and terrifying pack of Timber Wolves. Fluttershy was about 6 feet from the door, she prepared to do as Pinkie Pie taught her to leap. A hop, she began, a skip, she maneuvered, and a -. Fluttershy felt a slight pain as the pull on her mane pulled extremely tight. Tighter, and tighter.....then nothing. She turned her head to see Angel being pulled by his foot into the heart of the pack then disappearing completely from her sight.

"NO!!" She shrieked at the top of her lungs, as she spun around and stared directly at the once fierce Timber Wolves, now startled and confused at this pony's sudden suicidal act. Fluttershy continued to stare at them as they now began to shudder in fear from the ponies menacing glare. "Nopony," she muttered quietly as her breathing intensified, "I said nopony,..HURTS MY FRIENDS!!" And with that she jumped right on top of the 2 front wolves pinning them down then bucking madly at the group of dazed Timber Wolves. Not for even a second did she tire from her one pony army attack. Eventually some began to regain their composure as nearly 3 quarters of the pack had fallen victim to the enraged pony. Fluttershy took a bite to her flank then to her right front hoof, but nothing stopped her as she bucked the last 4 wolves out of consciousness. Several seconds later she snapped back into the kind little pony she was then began digging madly for Angel through the mountains of unconscious Timber Wolves until she noticed a white, barely visible patch. Fluttershy quickly scooped up the unconcious, but alive little bunny, then searched his body for any bite marks. The only bite she could visibly see was one near his foot from where he's been tugged, which was now bleeding vigorously. She began trotting to her cottage.
" Don't worry Angel, your gonna be alright, we just need to clean your cut then put bandage over it," She weakly spoke.
"Everything's gonna be alright. I promi-" Fluttershy couldn't finish the sentence as the world around her darkened and she fell to the ground. "How could I have forgotten about my own wounds. Fluttershy, you clumsy dunce. I'm sorry Angel, I'm so sorry."
Were her final thoughts, before she blacked out.

The feint sounds of ponies speaking laced Fluttershy's ears as she fluttered her eyes open as well as the low beeping sounds of some medical device. The blinding hospital lights were her first view of the scene, her body felt weak and her voice as well. She managed to look down at her bandaged flank and hoof trying to remember what had happened.
"I was running, running from Timber Wolves." She muttered quietly as she began to recollect her thoughts. "Then there was Angel-" Her eyes widened, then roared like a lion. "WHERE'S ANGEL!!"

She looked left and right to the hospital beds. Tears began forming in her eyes as her worst fears began crawling out of the shadows of her brain and becoming real life. All the doctors were surprised by this sudden awakening. They all nervously looked at each other as a pain, more pain than 1,000 bites from a Timber Wolf could ever do to her, began forming in her heart. "Where is he?" She choked out as her breathing had become rapid as tears trickled down her face. Nopony spoke, not a sound came from the entire hospital as Fluttershy sat there, waiting for an answer. And that's just what she got, not from the doctors, but her 5 best friends whom entered the room quietly. Again silence, or so Fluttershy thought until Twilight spoke up. Time seemed to slow as Fluttershy savored these last moments before knowing the fate of her beloved Angel. The one she'd saved during her 4th Winter Wrap Up when the pegasi melted the snow too early. The one she believed was much more than a pet, but as her family. "Fluttershy," Twilight began, desperately holding back her own tears. "Angels gone."
Fluttershy's eyes widened at the realization of it all. Just knowing that she would never hear, see, or feel him, ever again. She let out a cry of pure agony , not from the infliction of any physical pain, but the pain of loss. Fluttershy turned her head into her pillow and began to sob for what seemed like an eternity. She didn't care about anything anymore, her life, her duties, her animals. Suddenly she felt an warm embrace of hooves. She didn't need her eyes to know the friendly touch of her friends who patted her back in comfort. For several minutes this went on until the doctor asked the 5 ponies to leave and give Fluttershy her rest. It pained her to lose the warmth of her closest friends, but not as nearly as much as losing Angel. Fluttershy slept the night, a hole in her heart, and not a force in Equestria could fill it in ever again. She turned her head to the window then began her prayer to him, to my little Angel, she thought to herself.
Angel...at least you're safe in heaven now. My little Angel, you were always so nice, such a good friend...I'm sorry you had to leave...I'm so so sorry...I just want you to know that I shall always love you, from the bottom of my heart.
Outside the hospital, Fluttershy's dearest friends slowly trotted on home. "Do you think she'll ever be the same again?" Twilight began. "I dunno sugarcube, but all we can do is hope for the best." Replied Apple Jack hanging her head in sorrow. Pinkie was looking the worst. "Maybe if my Pinkie senses had acted faster, then maybe Angel wouldn't be ......." Her thoughts trailed off. And hope is all that they could do, though nothing could prevent the horrors of tomorrow.
"Well Fluttershy, we're checking you out today," The Doctor spoke as he entered the room. " Just don't do anything too drastic for few days,okay?" " Yes Doctor I promise." She replied, her soothing voice returning to her slowly. Fluttershy got up from the bed and slowly stood up for the first time in the last 24 hours. At first she felt a bit wobbly, but then began to regain control. "Thanks for everything Doctor." Fluttershy called out as she left the hospital door. After about 5 minutes walking she could see her cottage in the distance. Home, home sweet home. She thought to her self as she opened the door, but midway while she was opening it she realized. My animals, my home, I hope everything is okay with them. She held her breath, then saw her friends waiting inside, they turned to her, but then Rainbow stepped up.
" Hey Fluttershy," Rainbow Dash began, " We tended to your animals for you while you were in the hospital, so don't worry about it." "Oh, thank you, I'm not sure what I would do or what would become of my animals." Fluttershy spoke, then Rarity started "We were very sorry about you losing Angel," Fluttershy cringed at the mention of the name," So were having the funeral tomorrow, then aft-" Rarity was cut off, "THEN WERE HAVING A SUPERDUPERCHEERUPFLUTTERSHY SURPRISE PART-" Apple Jack stuck her hoof in Pinkie's mouth to silence her. "Were having no party whatsoever." Apple Jack lied awkwardly, looking upwards as to not make eye to eye contact with Fluttershy. And with that said the 5 ponies left the cottage, saying their good byes then heading off home. Fluttershy hovered to her couch and lay their, alone. No Angel to talk to, no pony to talk to. She stared to a picture of her and Angel together smiling. Oh how she missed those good times. When she was happy, truly happy.
The next day as Rainbow got up real early to clear the sky of all clouds, as to not bring more darkness and sorrow to the funeral as there already was. Almost everypony in town sat on the benches as the funeral began. The mane 6 sitting up front, all of them looked teary, and Fluttershy was just barely holding back her tears.No, I must stay strong in front of my friends, she thought to herself as ponies began walking up and dropped the roses next to the coffin, for if upon him, they would surely bury him. Almost none of the ponies had much to say about him for they had not lived as close to nature as Fluttershy. The speeches truly began when the mane 6 came up. One by one they each came up to the coffin, now light tears trickling down their faces. Twilight came up first to the microphone. She sniffled a little then began. " I have to admit that before now, I truly didn't know much about him, or spend time with him, other than our weakly pet play date, but now I know what kind, helpful, friend he really was. Though I haven't been here as long as many of you, I feel it is only right to honor and cherish the memories we've had with him when he was with us. Thank you Angel." She ended looking to the coffin. Now Apple Jack stood up to the microphone. "To be honest, I never paid much attention to Angel, and I'm pained to know now that I never will. I'm not much for speeches, but if he was a friend of Fluttershy, he was a friend of mine and I respect him for his support in Fluttershy's life." Apple Jack ended and stepped down. After the 2 sorrowful and meaningful speeches, the Rainbow, Pinkie, and Rarity passed and sat on the benches. Fluttershy looked at the coffin, not even looking at Angel yet, and then she stood and spoke into the microphone. Tears awash her face, while she sniffled slightly. " Angel was not just a pet, not just a friend, but as a family member to me. He was always so responsible while I was so forgetful and clumsy," Fluttershy mumbled to herself. She was now lightly sobbing,but continued to speak. " I remember when I first got him, it was my 4th Winter Wrap Up, when the pegasi melted the ice too early," Rainbow looked down, ashamed. "The animal's homes flooded and many of them died. I was able to get one bunny, he was pure white and it was as if he had wings to fly up to my hooves when I reached for him. And so I named him Angel. I will never forget the good times we had and am not quite sure how I can go on without him." Everypony could tell she was pouring out every inch of what she had been holding up inside. " But I know, with the help of my friends, as Twilight said, 'There's nothing we can't overcome as long as we work together.' And that is what I believe in, my friends." She stood down from the microphone then finally walked up to the coffin. She quietly muttered while stepping up to the coffin,

"Hush now quiet now," 3 steps away from the coffin, and her beloved Angel, "It's time to lay your sleepy head," 2 steps, "Hush now quiet now," 1 more step," It's time to go to bed-" Her eyes looking directly at her Angel, not a sign of him moving. The memories of all that has happened to her these last 2 days seemed too unreal. Reality itself seemed like an illusion as her eyes filmed with tears. It was all too much for her, the stress, losing Angel, his funeral. Just then a sheering pain overtook the little pony's heart. She let out a little shriek before the pain silenced her. Fluttershy a few seconds ago,standing next to the coffin, now on her side clenching her heart, as her eyes slowly fluttered shut. Then all was still........
“FLUTTERSHY!!!” Rainbow Dash cried as she rushed to her friend’s side. “Everypony! Anypony! Help! Call a medic! Hurry, please!!” She continued crying out desperately, “Not Fluttershy, please, not her.” Rainbow sobbed quietly. The once courageous and brave pony, now torn apart at this sudden crisis. The other 4 friends rushed to get help while the rest of Ponyville did the same. About 3 minutes later, medics, ambulances and many more arrived to the scene. Rainbow, weeping over her friend’s body. “ She’s….. she’s…” She sniffled before breaking down into more heart breaking sobs, as the medics confirmed, Fluttershy was dead.

The next day the remaining 5 friends had Fluttershy’s funeral, along with Angel’s, as his had been interrupted by the horrible event of Fluttershy’s passing. As they entered sat down on the familiar bench from yesterday, Pinkie’s hair was deflated as pangs of regret passed through her mind. “Maybe if I had acted quick enough, then Angel wouldn’t be gone, and Fluttershy wouldn’t have been so depressed and had the heart attack.” Her thoughts trailed off as they stepped up to her coffin. An unexpected filly now stepped up to the microphone and spoke, on the verge of tears, Sweetie Bell began. "I still remember the sleepover we had at Fluttershy's house, how she sang us a lullaby, and saved us from a cockatriz. Now I feel it is my turn to thank her with a farewell song to her." Sweetie Bell gave a slight cough then surprisingly for everypony Big Macintosh stepped up with her and began their meaningful song.

The 2 stepped down, and now....... it was Rainbow’s turn to speak as she stood up to the microphone, tearing drastically. “All throughout my life, since I was a filly, I stood bravely, and fearless in the face of danger and prideful and competitive when challenged,” Rainbow took a deep breath, “But never have I possessed the true will power to go on in life. It was Fluttershy’s kindness that kept alive my meaning in life, my dreams alive, and my spirit thirsting for adventure. But now, with the kindness of my-, no, our lives” Rainbow turned to her friends whom had been touched by their friends words, “Times ahead will be difficult, but having known Fluttershy, to be her friends, has touched us and our lives. We will carry on in life wielding small fragments of the kindness Fluttershy shared with us the moment we were joined together, in friendship. Goodbye Fluttershy, you’ve been the best friend a pony could ask for.” And with that, Rainbow bowed her head low and left the crowd of ponies speechless. None of her friends could even speak, due to Rainbow’s inspiring speech, and due to their constant sobs. Shortly minutes later, everypony said their goodbyes, looking one last time at their life long friend before the coffin closed along with Angel’s as they followed their coffins to the graveyard. The tear stricken ponies, once laughing together and going on adventures together, now crippled from the loss of the kindness in their lives.
Twilight hung her head in sorrow as she slowly walked to her home. "How had it gone so wrong?" She asked herself several times. There had to be an explanation, some sort of evidence, but some things in life, don't need to be. She now let out a sigh of defeat as she used her magic to open the door to her library door. Apparently Spike had left early, teary and depressed, after Rainbow's speech. His pillow was soaked from crying himself to sleep. Twilight pitied him. At such a young age, this would probably scar him for the rest of his life. Not just him, but the others 5 as well. And who will take care of the animals? She continued her thoughts while settling down in her bed. "Why me," She whispered to herself as to not awaken the sleeping dragon. " Why do I have to face the hardships of life, instead of the friendships? Oh Fluttershy, why'd you have to go." Twilight cried into her pillow, but after a while she decided she would meet up with her friends and have to face a world, a world without her friend's kindness, a world without her care and compassion. Twilight thought sorrowfully as she dozed off into a dreamless sleep.

Rainbow Dash gazed into nothingness as she wallowed in a puddle of her tears on her cloud bed. "Why Fluttershy, why?!!!!!" She cried, sobbing loudly, not caring if anypony hears her or not. It didn't matter anymore,her life, her dreams, the Wonder Bolts, all of them as meaningless and worthless as the wind. "Maybe if I'd- I could've-" She was now breathing intensly, blathering out her guilt, what she could've done to prevent Fluttershy's death. Only to be stopped by one fact, that she couldn't have done anything. Her spirit and willpower, utterly, gone with the wind, gone with Fluttershy.
Below Rainbow's house, Ponyville was, not the same and may never be, thought Twilight as she walked into town. The ponies around her, looked down, still trying to accept the life they would live without Fluttershy.
I'll visit Rarity, maybe she'll be faring better than the rest of the town. And with that, the purple mare set off trotting off onwards her friend's home. Minutes later, Twilight stood at the door of Carousal Boutique, she knocked 3 times on the door with her hoof and what she saw next was startling. There before her, was a mare with a filthy, yet white coat. Her mane as messed up as Twilight's was when she met her for the first time. "Oh hello Twilight, it's nice to see you." Rarity began weakly. " You too Rarity, I was just wondering how you gals were doing after Fluttershy's," Rarity twitched," passing. I'm inviting you to come meet up with me over at the spa with the others." Normally Rarity would be jumping up and down, speaking the pleasures and relaxations of going there, but instead, there she stood, simply, nodding in agreement. Nothing more, as Twilight said her good bye and headed off to Apple Jack's place.
Twilight, expecting the Big Macintosh and Apple Jack to be bucking apples, instead saw an empty, desolate field of apple trees. Oh no! Not Apple Jack too! Twilight thought while galloping to the red barn door.
"Apple Jack! You there!" She called while knocking on the the door. Instead of Apple Jack emerging from the door, a tear stricken filly stepped up to Twilight, her red messed mane, and wrinkled eyes were the first things she noticed about Apple Bloom. "Oh hey Twilight," She began sniffling shortly, "How are ye doin' today?" Apple Bloom asked, trying to sound positive. "Oh just fine, would you happen to know where Apple Jack is?" "As a matter of fact ah have, she's right in here, come on inside." With that Twilight stepped in through the red barn door. Apple Jack, muttering to herself in a corner.
"Hey Apple Jack," Twilight greeted as Apple Jack's ears perked up at the sudden arrival of her dear friend. "Howdy Twi, what can ah help ye with?"
"Oh nothing really, just wondering how you were doing and all?" The unicorn replied. "Just fine Twilight, and I take it your doing the same?" Apple Jack answered quickly trying to change the subject. "That's great Apple Jack, would you like to meet up with me and Rarity over at the spa?"
"Of course ah would, can't wait to go, well I gotta, ye know, harvest the apples." And with that Twilight left her to supposedly, harvest the apples. 2 down, 2 to go! Twilight thought to herself as she trotted her way to Sugar Cube Corner to visit Pinkie Pie.
Knock! Knock! Knock! Twilight knocked on the candy decorated door, thinking positive thoughts.
She won't be as bad as Apple Jack and Rarity were, no no no of course not. She's the element of laughter after all. "Though that is just what she got when she was greeted by a certain pink pony at the door. "Hey Twi, what's up, oh wait, the sky's up, heeheehee." Pinkie giggled to herself. Twilight on the other hand was dumbfounded, how had Pinkie coped with such a horrible event in life. "So, Pinkie, um how have you been doing since the fune-" Out of nowhere Pinkie's hair deflated as she broke down in sobs then hugged the purple unicorn. "Twilight! I can't take it anymore, I've never had such a horrible thing happen to me since my fillyhood. I'm not sure I can go on!" Pinkie continued to sob. Twilight patted her on the back as Twilight teared lightly, but more and more as she spoke. "Oh Pinkie, knowing that you can't handle this, I just don't know what to do!" Twilight was now sobbing with Pinkie. The mane 5, the elements of harmony, now truely, and utterly broken.

Rainbow Dash was now up to the point of muttering to herself alone in her Clouds Dale house. Recollecting her thoughts, reliving the nightmare of Fluttershy's death. How had it all happened? She thought to herself, but it quickly changed to Who's responsible for this!? An instinct, a necessity Rainbow had never felt she wanted before, even more than joining the Wonder Bolts now swept through her. She wanted.....Revenge. Revenge on the Timber Wolves! Rainbow screamed in her mind as she dashed out her window, in the direction of the Everfree Forest.
At that same time, Twilight began her ascent to Rainbow's house on a hot air balloon. Just as she was about to cast the walk on cloud spell on herself, a rainbow colored blur wisped by her. Rainbow Dash? It can't be he. Why would she be going to the Everfree forest, unless..........- Realization struck her mind like a lightning bolt as her thoughts trailed off as she quickly killed the fire and landed on a patch of green fluffy grass. Twilight jumped out then started in a dead run in the direction Rainbow had flown off to. Rainbow..........you better be alright when I get there!! The thought of losing another friend gave her infinite strength in her daring dash to the forest.
Off ahead of Twilight, Rainbow entered the thick, leafy opening through the forest. Those bucking wolves are dead!!! Rainbow cried maniacally in her mind. She didn't have time to think and common sense at the moment was just as worthless as those murderous scoundrels lurking in the forest. "WHERE ARE YOU!! THE LOT OF YOU TIMBER WOLVES!!" She shouted to the distance ahead of her. Her voice echoed loudly as she dashed farther and farther into the depth of the forest. In the midst of her blind anger, Rainbow's leg got caught in a vine. She stumbled, rolling violently across the hard cold forest floor. Rainbow breathed heavily, now recollecting her thoughts as her senses came back to her. What have I gotten myself into? She thought as she lay battered and bruised, her wings were sore and useless for the time being and she was alone and helpless, as well known predators lurked in the shadows, awaiting their shining moment...to attack the cyan colored pegasus lying in the middle of Timber Wolf territory.
"RAINBOW!!" Twilight called desperately, galloping through the forest until she saw a cyan colored figure in the distance. She let out a sigh of relief, until it hit her. Why's Rainbow on the ground, please tell me she's not- She couldn't bear to continue her thoughts as ran to aid Rainbow until........ Out of nowhere, a pack of hungry looking Timber Wolves jumped out of nearby shadows and set off in a dead run for their prey, Rainbow Dash. No! Twilight shrieked in her head as she raced to Rainbow. I'm not gonna make it in time! She teared lightly as the Timber Wolves began circling Rainbow. "Get away from me you creeps! Hey I said back off!" Rainbow Dash screeched, until one Timber Wolf jumped into the air to pounce on Rainbow. "Ahhhhhhhhh!!" Rainbow covered her eyes with her hoof as she waited for a surge of unbelievable pain to strike her, but instead she got silence. She opened her eyes again as she saw the Timber Wolf, still in mid-air, surrounded by a purple aura along with the rest of the pack, suspended in the air. "Run Rainbow, I'm not sure how long I can hold it!" Twilight called to Rainbow her horn flowing madly with magic. The cyan colored pegasus had learned her lesson not to fly in the Everfree Forest from before so she galloped at top speed to the entrance of the forest. Rainbow looked back one last time at Twilight as she fell to the ground in exhaustion and the Timber Wolves were free from their air born prison. Immediately Rainbow thought they would pursue her, but instead they surrounded Twilight. "Keep going Rainbow!! Forget about me just GO!!" But Rainbow couldn't, her body was paralyzed from an unknown force she had never had before, even worse than revenge. Fear She couldn't run away, she couldn't even help Twilight, for all she could do was watch one of her best friends killed, murdered, in front of her eyes. The Timber Wolves began creeping closer and closer as Twilight cried in fear, shivering, and waiting for her fate. So this is how it ends? I really wanted to write one last letter to Pri- Princess Celestia!! She screamed in her mind as a blinding flash of light overtook the forest. The Timber Wolves cowering and astonished at this sudden event and the pony, no full blown goddess horse that hovered above them out of nowhere to the scene. Celestia shot a beam of energy at the pack of Timber Wolves, sending them flying a good 10 feet from Twilight as she swooped down picking up the purple mare with her magic then again for Rainbow Dash. After exiting the forest, Rainbow and Twilight were both shocked and overcome with joy as they were welcomed by the sight of their other 3 friends as they lighted down on a soft patch of grass ready to hear what the Princess had to say about their suicidal act and what their friends would think of them after this was all over.

"Twilight, why would you go in there? What were you thinking?" The Princess snapped at her pupil until Rainbow stepped up. "Don't blame her Princess, it was all my fault. After Fluttershy's death, I wanted revenge, revenge on those Timber Wolves. Then Twilight came after me, and everything went wrong But I learned my lesson that you should never choose revenge." She looked to her friends. "Ah'm just glad that we're all safe. If it weren't for Pinkie Pie and her quick thinking when her senses were a tingling, we might not have sent the letter to the Princess in time." Apple Jack said.
Then Rarity began speaking. "Oh Rainbow Dash, you could have come to us, your friends. We would've understood." She gave Rainbow a warm smile. "Thank you, thank you all." Twilight looked around to her friends. I'm so lucky to have such good friends. She thought to herself until finally Celestia spoke up, smiling upon all of them. "Well it seems a lesson has been learned, now if you'll excuse me, I'm expecting some mail today." The Princess grinned before flying off into Luna's starry night sky then disappearing in a flash of light. Suddenly, Spike came running to Twilight's side. "Spike, take a letter please." Twilight began. "With pleasure" He replied cheerfully.
"Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned a lesson that deals with friendship and loss. When you lose somepony in your life, it's important to go on in life and not dwell on the past. Think about what that pony would want you to do." Rainbow began now. "Like our friend Fluttershy, when I went to avenge her, I didn't stop to think what she would want, I just took over the situation and if she is looking upon me now, I'm sorry for being so foolish." Now Twilight began once again. "And though she is not with us physically, she'll always be in our hearts, and it's the memories we've had with her that matters. Being scarred by her passing was a tragic event, but like all scars, they never go away which concludes that I- we, will always remember the kindness she showed us and we will continue life with the blessing of having known her, being her friend, and learning about the magic of friendship.

Tears were now in Twilight's eyes as she finished the letter, as well as her friends. And with that Spike let out a green fire upon the scroll and then it was gone in a wisp of smoke. From that moment on, Twilight knew that nothing would be the same about her friends, until Pinkie screamed. "LET'S ALL HAVE A SPECTACULAR-ISTIC SUPER AWESOME REUNION PARTY." Well, some things never change. Twilight thought as the group of friends nodded in agreement while falling flat on their backs bursting into laughter. After a while, they took a moment to admire Luna's beautiful night sky, until suddenly they saw a constellation none of them had ever seen before, even Twilight was dumbfounded by this new constellation, but then they all noticed that it formed the image of a, butterfly. "It's dazzling!" Rarity exclaimed followed by Apple Jack. "Ah guess you were right Rainbow, she is watching over us." They all took a moment to admire it's beauty, then said their good byes to each other and trotted to their homes, their friendship, unbroken and repaired by the memories of Fluttershy's kindness and the company of each other.

The next day, Rainbow, Apple Jack, Twilight, and Rarity all walked together to Sugar Cube Corner. "Ah can't wait to get there, it's really been a while since we all came together just to hang out, ye know." Apple Jack exclaimed cheerfully as Twilight replied. "I do too! I wonder what kind of random ideas Pinkie has thought of now?" As they walked up to the candy decorated building. The door opened slowly as a certain pink pony emerged, her hair as frizzy and puffed up as ever as streamer and baloons exploded out of the door.
"Hey guys! Come on in!" Pinkie began as they entered. Apparently, the whole town seemed to be invited to the party. Ponies such as Carrot Top, Ditzy Doo, Colgate, and many more danced and chatted with each other. "Wow Pinkie, you've really outdone yourself darling!" Rarity spoke to Pinkie, admiring the banners, and baloons, the table of delectable cakes, candies, and fruit punch. "Well this one's extra special, and I wanted to make it up for the party we were going to throw for Fluttershy." Nopony cringed at the name, yet they still yearned for the kind, loving pony. "Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to PART-EY!" Pinkie screamed as she sprang onto the dance floor, the other 4 friends laughed in delight at Pinkie's enthusiasm. Later on through the party, they split up, either playing pin the tail on the pony, (which Rarity was at.) or fussing over what to eat, (which Apple Jack was doing.) all of them enjoying the party except Twilight who stood by an open window peering upon the night sky, wondering about the constellation, and about Fluttershy. Until a wisp of smoke entered the window, then forming a scroll. Twilight caught it in mid-air with her magic then unraveled it.
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
It is I, Princess Luna. It has come to my attention that you and your friends have discovered the new constellation I have made, in memory of your dear friend Fluttershy, whom aided me in fitting in on nightmare night, and I felt it would be an honor to form a new constellation in her name. I am deeply sorry for your loss and wish the best for you in the future. Now please, enjoy life, and enjoy the party.
Princess Luna
As soon as Twilight finished reading the letter, she looked to the sky once again, to see Princess Luna herself waving hello to her then disapearing into the night sky. "Hey Twilight, we're going bobbing for apples, wanna join us?" Rainbow asked, the other 3 right there beside her. Twilight didn't waste a second to reply. "Of Course!" She replied, as she joined her friends, savoring every moment of their friendship, and spreading kindness in the name of her dearest friend, Fluttershy.
