Episode 1:

The mysterious pony! A new friend and lost past! Part 1

Another shining day in Equestria and another shining day in Ponyville. The cutie mark crusaders are trotting their way through Ponyville trying to think of new

ideas to get their cutie marks.

"So... what do you think Scootaloo? SweetieBelle? Have any ideas for today?"

"Got nothin..." said Scootaloo sighing.

"Nope..." said SweetieBelle also sighing.

"Well... I guess we should take the day off today. Hey! Let's go to sugarcube corner and get some cake!" AppleBloom said trying to lift her friend's spirits.

"Ye-" Scootaloo was stopped by a sudden howl in the sky.

"What was that?" asked SweetieBelle.

All of a sudden, many ponies started running in the opposite direction. That's when the ground itself shook so much that it broke apart, launching Scootaloo and

SweetieBelle away from AppleBloom, also tipping over AppleBloom.

AppleBloom looked up in absolute horror as a large, spiked, and by the looks of it, not very friendly, beast that was larger than a building.

The monster rose up it's massive, clawed paw and sent it down.

AppleBloom screamed as she closed her eyes hoping that this would be over.

After a few seconds she opened her eyes to a different kind of a surprising shoke. A colt, by the looks of it was the exact same age as her, stopped the

monster's claw with his hoof. He had red fur(darker than her brother, Big Macintosh's), a black mane, and a tail that looked like fire and was yellow and orange

and flowing.

"So you wish to disturb the peace of this town?" the colt said. The monster, failing to press down his left claw on colt, began to raise the right.

"DO YOU BELIVE I'LL LET YOU HARM THIS PONY AND EVEN THIS TOWN AND JUST GET AWAY WITH IT!" He shouted in anger.

The monster sent down his claw but it didn't have time to even come to close to the ground before he took a hoof kick to the face which sent him sliding

back. He grabbed AppleBloom and her friends and in a dash set them on the roof of a building that was a good distance away from this destruction.

"Stay here until help arrives, I deal with him." said the colt. All three noticed something amazing before he took off, the colt now had two tails that looked

like they were ablaze.

"Okay then let's see now, either you leave or I make you leave!" He shouted at the beast.

All that was followed by the beast was loud roar.

"That's all I needed to hear." said the colt.

The Colt looked behind him, four tails, he had begun to grow the eleven tails. He thought to be careful, he knew what would happen if all eleven tails were lit.

He rushed towards the beast at blinding speed, catching it off guard, and knocking it off it's feet and into the air. Six tails.

SweetieBelle, Scootaloo, all the ponies in Ponyville, especially AppleBloom, watched the sky as the beast and the small colt battled it out.

"Eight tales..." the colt thought.

"I need to finish him quickly... before the eleventh tale..." The young colt had now tripled in size in mid air and used his now eight large tales to slam the beast

to the ground. AppleBloom made it to the street from the roof with Scootaloo and SweetieBelle.

"We gotta go help him!" said AppleBloom.

"There's nothing we can do!" said Scootaloo trying to hold back her friend from rushing into danger.

Meanwhile, Princess Celestia had arrived to make sure everyone was okay, but froze in place looking at the young colt in the distance who was easily

defending himself from the rampaging beast in the middle of the town. She looked at the colt...

"Eleven-"

"TAILS!" the colt said.

"Darn! No! Not now! Gah!"

A blinding light first came off the colt followed by a blinding flash in which consumed the entire chaotic scene. AppleBloom broke free of Scootaloo's hold and ran

towards the scene.

"Hey! Where are ya'll?!" AppleBloom said frantically.

The smoke cleared away with the wind, a crater was in clear view. The monster was gone, but where was the colt? AppleBloom could see the colt in the middle

of the crater, she went down a lifted him up, not knowing if he was gone.

2 days later...

"I she's still here." said AppleJack.

"She hasn't left the colt's bedside since his condition became stable yesterday" said Nurse Redheart.

RainbowDash, PinkiePie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and even the newly royal Princess Twilight Sparkle came to the room all with a look of sadness on their faces. This

small colt almost was destroyed saving Ponyville from that mysterious powerful monster. AppleJack walked up to AppleBloom who was right beside the bed of

the colt.

"How he doin'?" asked AppleBloom with a very worried tone in her voice.

"The doctors say he's stable, he's gonna be alright." said AppleJack softly.

"Thank good-" AppleBloom was cut off by a small whisper from the colt. Everyone was frozen silent.

"A-are... y-you... okay?" He asked looking right at AppleBloom.

"Ima be fine, ya'll should be restin, savin ya strength." AppleBloom said in a quiet but hopeful voice.

"D-don't worry about... me... I just needed to know... that you're... safe... that is what's important to me..." The colt drifted back to sleep.

AppleBloom and everyone else in the room were nearly brought to tears. AppleJack took AppleBloom home.

The colt awoke to the sight of that same girl in the room the next day, along with a few others that he did not recall to see.

Nurse Redheart could see that he was awake and was somewhat aware of his surroundings although still had his vision clearly focused on AppleBloom.

"I am going to try and ask you some questions deary, now you can try your best to answer okay."

He had turned his attention to Nurse Redheart so she started. They watched in anxiety to see what was he was going to see what he was going to say.

"I hope the kid will be okay," thought RainbowDash.

"What is your name?" Nurse Redheart said slowly.

"I am sorry, I do not have one." he said. Everyone was shocked at the reply, how could he not have a name?

"Where are your parents?" she asked slowly.

"Vanished after the day I was born." he said. This was a huge shock to everyone, this colt had no name and his parents disappeared after he was born?

This was more than awful.

"Um..." Nurse Redheart tried to say something, but was too choked up to even let out a word.

"Do you wanna name?" said AppleBloom who had broken the shocking silence with an equally shocking question.

He looked at AppleBloom.

"You would do that for me?" said the colt.

"Yep, uh... RedTails!" she said enthusiastically.

"Now Apple-" AppleJack was quickly silenced as she the young colt stumble out of bed and hugged AppleBloom.

"Th-thank you so much, that's the nicest thing anypony has ever done for..." RedTails had become wobbly again.

"App-Apple..." he tried to say her name.

"Don't ya worry I got ya." said AppleBloom with a gentle voice.

Twilight took AppleJack aside.

"AppleJack, when RedTails recovers, I want you to take him to Sweet Apple Acres, to keep a close eye on him and... she paused

he would be best with AppleBloom there."

AppleJack was unsure at first but she knew Twilight was right.

"Alright," AppleJack said.
