Long before the founding of Equestria, when the northern land was still a vast plain of grass and fertile soil. This land was occupied by ponies of all kind. The ground was occupied by the earth ponies, the pegasi lived in the sky and the unicorns were high in the mountain range.

The three tribes never saw eye to eye, but even so they still lived together in peace for many years. This is a long tale that explores the history of pony kind.

Also, since the character tool of Fimfiction doesn't have my main characters I will name them here because they are well known. "Commander Hurricane, Private Pansy, Clover the Clever, Princess Platinum, Chancellor Puddinghead, Smart Cookie, as well as Starswirl the Bearded."
