Cruel World

Three days later, The ponies were finally waking up from a deep slumber that had begun as they were sucked into the portal. The sky was royal purple and the grass was a much darker shade. The buildings and many other familiar structures had disappeared. Rainbow Dash rubbed her forehead with a hoof. She blinked, her blurry vision slowly adjusting. "Pinkie? Wh-Where are you?" She mumbled quietly, her tongue not feeling quite right. She winced as she tried to get up, and a stabbing pain went through her side. Eventually, ignoring the pain, she sat up. Her leg was somewhat twisted and broken and she gasped when she saw it. Near her, was Derpy she had seemed to have a bloody nose and her nose and face were caked with evidence. She saw Pinkie was now getting up and rubbing her eyes as they adjusted. "Hey! Rainbow Dash!" said Vinyl who had obviously made good use of the empty plain's extra long grass as a cast for her broken back leg.

It seemed that there was not a single other thing in sight but hundreds of slumbering, waking, and awake ponies. A few lone trees were scattered about and one of them had apples on it. In the distance, Celestia was standing there, her normally kind eyes a bright, angry, red. She had a frizzled mane and she was pacing around. Dj-Pon3 looked over at her, then back to Dash and shrugged when she looked quizzically at her. "Celestia went all cuckoo clocks!" said Pinkie who was now very awake and had seen Celestia pacing. Rainbow fashioned a weaved cast and put it on with a very confusing jumble of hoof movements. "DJ-PON3 you have a horn. WHY DON'T YA GIVE ME A HOOF!" Rainbow Dash said a little bit angrily. "Uh... Rainbow Dash? Pinkie? DJ? Look over there.." Derpy said, she had apparently gotten up and been rather quiet. She pulled off her mailbag and finished her muffin. "Celestia's comin' she looks really really mad." Derpy noted after finishing the muffin. "Oh gosh..." Rainbow said, trailing off. Her glowing red eyes, her blood-caked wings and her tangled matted hair, frizzy was an understatement.

"Hello, Ponies!" She said with a wild and evil look in her eyes. she lifted a sharp object with her horn, and raised it to  the ponies. "AAAIYEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" All four of them shrieked as they ran off extremely quickly. Vinyl Scratch used her magic to lift them into a tall tree, away from Celestia's vision, momentarily confusing her. She paced for another hour, then left." I don't think it's going to be very safe down there, I mean Celestia's all insane and such." Vinyl said. "Well, duh we should stay," Rainbow Dash said "plus this is the apple tree." She said as she picked a juicy red apple. "Ugh, why are we in a strange world, and governed by an insane Alicorn Princess?" Derpy asked, because to tell it honestly, she too was deeply confused and wanted her answers. All four ponies just sighed and looked around, Rainbow Dash crunching and munching extremely loudly, much to the annoyance of the others. "Ugh. What should be try and do?" Pinkie asked. "I don't know..." Was her only answer. Suddenly, they heard hoofsteps. "Celestia...Isn't it?" Vinyl said.
