The Moon and her Daughter
The small pegasus foal stumbled through the streets of Noctus. She wanted to catch a glimpse of The Lady Luna. Her sister The Princess Celeste was coming to grace the city with light for one day. She hated getting "graced" with light. Celeste didn't understand. She didn't love the shadows like the people of Noctus. She found her way to the great road, the one Celeste only walked upon. Sunlight cascaded around the road, Celeste could not exist in the shadows. "Here arrives Lady Luna!" The most glorious mare walks into her sight. A midnight purple coat glowing in the shadows, a flowing mane of dark blue and purple. A silver blue armor coating her. "Her Princess Celeste." People mutter about how the light is coming. Luna looks around at her beloved city. Her eyes glimpse the small silver blue pegasus pony watching her in awe. She spreads her midnight wings and soars over the crowd. She lands in front of the foal.
"What is thy name?" she asks gently.
"I... I dont have one M'Lady." She responds.
"Poor, poor foal. Thy may come with Us." She says, sweeping her on her back, and flying over the crowd to the road. "Thou's name shalt be... Lunar Eclipse. Eclipse." The duo flies back to her glowing black palace. They fly through the palace, and Luna arives at her room, and pushes her gently in. There was a small bed next to Luna's.
"This shalt be thy bed."
"Thank you my Lady Luna." Eclipse says shyly.
"Thou may call us... Mommy." The foal almost burst with joy.
"Mommy!" She exclaims as Celeste Enters the room.
"Who is this Luna?" Celeste asks.
"This is Eclipse. My Daughter."
"Luna, she is very powerful, let me train her." Celeste said.
"No!" Luna says quietly yet fiercely.
"You always got what thy want! Mother and Father loved thy more, and the Great Elder Blessed thy with the power, and when I get something great, thy always took it. This stops now. I learned when I was Nightmare Moon, I am no pushover. If this means war, so be it." Luna says.
"So be it!" Celeste says.
"My Lunar Warriors are stronger. You can not deny that." Luna says.
"I have more!" Celeste says.
"You always had more." Luna retaliates. "Nothing new there."
"War. So be it." Celeste says.
"So Be It."
The Next Day.
"My troops, we come to war with my sister Luna. She has betrayed my Trust and is to be not trusted. She has an alliance with the changelings, but we have the crystal ponies."
"My dear Lunar Ponies, It has come to war with my sister Celeste. She has almost taken our Princess, Eclipse" She says. A mutter of outrage spits the night. They had come to love the Princess. We have allied ourselves with the changelings, our sisters. Feed them love, and they will fight. War it is. So Be It!!
