Distant Worlds
Chapter one:A Silent Passion.
Everything's gone to hell since people started disappearing, rumour has it that the people just vanished overnight with these horse like creatures in their place. Some of mankind hasn't treated these 'Ponies' to kindly, it was all over the news...
Human or not what kind of people would allow such cruelty, the news reports had covered murder, rape, abuse and what was just plain torture of creatures that looked confused and frightened.
“Tch. It's shit like this that makes me sick.” I said to no one in particular, switching of the TV. I sat in the living in my run down apartment. I wasn't exactly well off money wise but I managed, besides it was nothing a little DIY couldn't fix and I kept it as tidy as I could.
Ever since people started disappearing, the world has just gone to hell it was as if humanity changed for the worse overnight, like that 'spark' of goodness was gone. Even my friends and family were effect by this change, everyone just seemed to go their separate ways...
The living room was dim, damn light was going again...I watched the clear night sky wondering what was happening to this grey chaotic world.
“Help...please...” I could have sworn that this was the voice of the wind, but I was inside after all. The gentle voice was faint like it was some distance away. I don't know what go into me but I grabbed my jacket and headed out.
I soon found myself at the nearest park, it was one of the few places that still had any beauty in this part of town. The chilling autumn breeze blowing the earth coloured leaves was a wonderful sight compared to the greys that seemed to consuming the town.
“Help...me please...anyone...” I followed the heart breaking sobs and pleas for help into a deep part of the woodland portion of the park. I could of thrown up at the sight in front of me...
A beaten and broken midnight blue pegeasus unicorn, lay tied to an old oak tree. It's wings looked broken and it's horn looked like it was snapped clean off. You could smell the blood from the cuts across it's body. I took a step forward snapping a twig on the leaf covered ground, alerting it to my presence.
“A-are...you here to help me?” It asked in it's gentle feminine voice. I could see the fear in it's clear blue eyes. “Yes I am.” I reassured her, “Hold on I get you out of this rope.”
“Your not like the others?” She asked, “No. To do something this cruel to a living thing makes me sick to my stomach.” I replied, I soon had her out of the rope, “C'mon I'll get you out of here.”
We were about to leave, but sadly the person responsible came back to have his 'fun' with the injured alicorn.
“Run!!” I yelled, she hesitated for a moment and ran as fast as she could with her injuries.
“So...Your the son of a bitch responsible for this?” I taunted, the man growled, given his shabby appearance he must have been one of the local thugs. “Ya little shit, ah'll fuckin' kill ya fer interrupting mah time wiv mah toy.”
“A toy?! God your a sick fuck.” I dodged his lunge, and kicked him in the back of the head. He cursed harshly under his breath. Next thing I knew he grabbed my arm, yanked it out it's socket and threw me in to the tree.
“Fuck...” I cried in pain. “Afta ah've delt wiv ye, ah'm ganna find mah toy and ride 'er like the horse she is.” The thug grinned evilly, what followed was a size 10 boot stamping me into the ground and a beating that left me half dead.
The last thing I heard before blacking out was as single gun shot.
“How bad is it?” A voice asked, “Broken right arm, dislocated shoulder, several broken ribs, crushed pelvis, damaged spine and a broken jaw...he was beaten enough to the point of a coma.” the doctor replied.
“When will he wake up...?” The doctor shook his head, “Days, weeks, months or years...I can't say really, he's lucky to be even alive.” The voice began sobbing, “My baby boy how could someone do this to you...”
The hospital was silent, aside from the footsteps of the staff that worked there on the night shift. One by one each nurse and doctor fell into deep sleep, as the soft clopping of hooves was heard approaching the room I lay comatose in.
“This must be it.” A gentle voice whispered, the clopping got louder as she entered the room. She took a moment to examine my comatose and broken body. “I am sorry this had to happen to you, because of me you were nearly killed by that monster.” She said to my still form, “My sister said I should return the favour, but...there is a condition. If I help you...you cannot go back to how you were before...” She explained crestfallen, “I am truly sorry for what happened, and for what is about to happen.”
The remaining part of her horn began to glow gently, illuminating the room in a bluish hue.
I could feel myself getting warm all over, as the injured parts of my body began to repair itself, something felt a little off though. It was like everything was changing as it healed, as if it was becoming something new.
I woke up to find myself in my own bedroom back home, “Oh dear god, what a strange dream...” I said in slightly higher more feminine pitch, “The hell's up with my voice?” I asked in confusion. I got out of bed and fell straight on the floor as I tried standing. “What the hell is going on?” I looked down at myself and found I had...hooves? “Alrighty then I'm officially frightened now.” I panicked, I did my best to walk on all fours towards the mirror and found myself a bit taller than my desk, meaning I now stood at roughly 3ft 11 inches in height. I gazed into the mirror and saw a unicorn with light blue fur, bright blue eyes and a dusty blonde coloured mane and tail with a some sort of mark depicting a old console controller across a pen drawing a line upon my flank.
“What the fuck...?” I exclaimed, I turned around to examine my now ponified body, and went crimson when I saw my...erm...when I realised I was now a unicorn mare of all things. “Note to self:get some clothes to cover nether regions...” I said to myself embarrassed.
I took a few steps backward. “What's happened to me?” I heard the sound of muffled clopping of hooves against the carpet, “I see your awake and well now.” I turned to see where the voice came from. “Your that pony from the forest, then all of that really happened.” She nodded, “Yes I am, and it's all true I'm afraid.” I frowned, “Then wasn't I beaten into the ground? How come I'm like this?”
The alicorn took a moment to get comfortable on my bed, “I'm responsible for your new form, needless to say it was better than the alternative.” She explained with an utmost serious look, “You would have been comatose for years.” I sighed, it was that bad...”Your body was damaged beyond repair, so I transformed you as way of saving your life considering you saved mine.” She examined me, and with an amused look in her eyes, “I expected to find a unicorn stallion when I cast that spell on you, but you changed into a unicorn mare. I'm sorry but I can't help but wonder why?” I blushed a little, “The spell I cast brings out the true you in a manner of speaking, I imagine this is something you've kept deep inside you locked away for whatever reason.” I nodded reluctantly, “Yeah, I guess I've kept that part of me locked up.”
“Do you have a name?” She asked, I nodded, “It's Mark, but as I am I don't know anymore this feels like I've been stripped of my identity.” She gave an understanding nod, “Well where I'm from, ponies often take names that are meaningful to us. Given that you've kept this side of you quiet and the kindness you showed me in that forest, I guess Silent Passion would be fitting. Don't you agree?” I nodded, I honestly liked the sound of the name. “I like that name, it's a pleasure to meet you...erm.” She gave a soft chuckle, “I'm Princess Luna.”
“I have to ask Luna, what brings you here in the first place?” I asked, “Things haven't been going well in Equestria, portals to this world have been opening all over and creating all sorts of chaos. According to our research into the matter our worlds seem to be fusing together.” Luna explained, “If we don't do something to stabilize the situation both this world and Equestria will suffer horrific amounts of damage, but to do that we need the Elements of Harmony of this world.”
“Elements of Harmony? Good luck there, this place has nothing but chaos since people have been disappearing.” I scoffed, “Can you tell me more?” Luna inquired, I nodded. “I think it's better your see for yourself. Follow me.” I led her into the living room and switched on the TV.
The news reporter explained that more people have vanished and the end result wasn't pleasant, Luna looked horrified at what she was seeing happen to the ponies that had been found by the cruelty of humanity some people were showing lately. “H-how can somepony do this, it's naught but horrific!?” the princess looked on in disgust, “And this has been happening because people have been vanishing and ponies found in their place.” I nodded, “It's not just that people have been acting strangely as if the worst of their personalities have been brought out, and I think the people that vanished are the ponies they're torturing.”
“Isn't there anything we can do about this?” Luna asked, “I guess if we found the Elements of Harmony of this world, everything would go back to how it was.” I suggested, after all if all this was linked then solution was obvious. Luna gave a hefty sigh, “In our current state we'll not be able to accomplish much, we would have to travel back to Equestria before we make our next move but that would take another week before I would have enough magic to send us both there.”
“How come?” I asked, “With my horn broken, my magic is severely limited it took a lot just to transform you.” Luna explained, “And sadly the illusion I cast will give out in another week before they come looking for you.” So that's why no one came looking for me...”We could always go to my parents, this chaos doesn't seem to be effecting them. I'm sure they would help us out.” I suggested.
“Yes that does seem to be the best course of action right now.” Luna agreed, “It would be best if we left at night though.” It made sense, I don't think either of us want to end up like those ponies on the news. “If you don't mind Silent Passion, I need to rest.” Luna gave a sigh, “It'll be a month before my horn can be repaired and my wings in less time.” A curious look painted my features, “A month? You mean the next full moon?” Luna nodded, “An alicorn and unicorn's horn will repair itself over time but it repairs significantly faster when exposed to magic.” I looked thoughtful for a moment, “So why can't I use magic to speed the repair up?”
I had a valid point, since I am technically a unicorn now, but Luna shook her head in disagreement.
“While yes you are a unicorn now, but you don't know how to use your magic nor will the magic you do have will be enough. The attempt alone would surely kill you, I would imagine only my sister could preform such a deed.” Luna explained. I decided to change the subject, “I suppose I should know my limits of my new body then?” I asked, Luna looking a little more comfortable now nodded in agreement.
“As an unicorn, your body will naturally draw upon magic from nature around you and the some have access to unique magic based upon their individual talents which is usually indicated by their Cutie mark such as my own.” I gazed upon Luna's flank at her moon Cutie mark. “I take it that’s why you need a full moon then?” Luna nodded and then continued, “Considering you are now for all intents a mare now...”
I turned beet red, knowing where this conversation is going and gave a small groan...
Over the course of the night Luna told me everything about a mare's body, and of what Equestria was like. I almost slapped myself when I found out she was royalty in Equestria. In turn I told her what I knew about human society and about myself, my family and ambitions.
I could tell humanity had left a bit of a sour taste in both our mouths, given the fact I tended to stay away from other people and my ability to go unnoticed was well known amongst the friends I did have. Eventually we decided that we would visit my parents the next evening considering we would have less trouble travelling at night.

Chapter 2: A Shard of Loyalty part 1: A Moonlit Oath.
Luna pretty much slept the day away whilst I familiarised myself with walking on four legs and attempting to use magic to move things around. Luna explained that it was like grabbing something mentally, it got easier with practice and it felt like I was moving it as if it was a part of my body.
Luna came down refreshed from her rest, “How are you feeling Silent Passion?” She asked, “I'm fine, just trying to get my head sorted that's all.” Luna gave me a concerned look, “Afraid of what others will say?” I nodded, “It's best we get going, it's dark out now so we shouldn't run into any problems.” Luna nodded, she knew I was trying to change the subject. So we headed out into the comforting night.
A few lamp posts lit the streets outside, giving where I lived there was very few people out at this time of night. As we ran past various cars and buildings I could have sworn we ran by a few people, but given my apparent ability to go unnoticed and disappear in the crowd when I needed to in the past I merely chalked it up as that. Luna was probably using some sort of magic to keep herself hidden.
It would be another hour before we reached my parents home at the speed we were travelling at. It's been over a year since I've been to this part of town, it was no different from home...endless greys of concrete from the roads and buildings it was depressing, what happened to the colour, the liveliness of the town I grew up in. The only colour was the soft blues given of by the moonlit sky above us and the warmth of the street lights.
“Luna we're here.” I said coming to a halt and pointing to the two story house in front of us, I was kind of relieved that Dad kept the front garden so vibrant I never would admit that to him though. “C'mon over here.” I beckoned, taking a moment to survey the garden. Dad's car was gone he must be on the night shift this week. We both approached the front door, but I hesitated...how would Mom react seeing her son like this? “Are you okay, Silent Passion?” Luna asked concerned, “I don't know how Mom will take this Luna, honestly I'm a little frightened.” I said simply, “Would you like me to explain?” I nodded.
Luna knocked on the door and waited for my Mom to answer, soon enough the door opened. Mom stood there in complete shock, “May we come please?” Luna asked, Mom just nodded dumbfoundedly and let us in.
In the living room which was as cosy as I remembered it, I curled up on my favourite pillow on the chair in the corner, Luna on the couch by the window. Mom came in an looked at me, “I'm sorry but my son doesn't like people sitting there.” I sighed, “I know Mom...” I answered.
Mom looked speechless, “H-how your in the hospital comatose...?!” I turned away ashamed, “I do believe I can explain this.” Luna exclaimed, “Silent Passion...I mean Mark, saved my life the other night and I simply returned the favour.” Mom looked outraged, “But turning him into this!!” she shouted pointing at me, “Mom! That's enough if it wasn't for Luna I would've been in a coma for who knows how long!” Mom calmed down, and hugged me. “Oh my baby boy, it'll be alright we'll find away to turn you back...”
“I'm sorry to say that is not possible, the condition of the spell I cast is that it is permanent. Her former body was destroyed as a result and cannot be undone.” Luna explained sadly, Mom looked at me and then back to Luna. “Why would you do this...” Mom asked again, “Because kindness such as hers is apparently rare in this world, from what I've experienced.” Luna explained with a sour look, “What you see in your son now is her true form if she was born in my world.” Mom looked me again mouthing words like 'she' and 'her'.
“I'm sorry, but I hardly understand any of this.” Mom said simply, “To put it simply the spell I cast, brought out a side of your son she locked away because she was afraid of how people see her.” Luna explained, “This again...I thought you put that all behind you Mark...but I guess this is your truth now, isn't it?”
“I think you should see this honey.” Mom nodded, turned on the TV and put on one of the news channels.
“...Across the world people have been disappearing and in their place these ponies have been appearing claiming to be the missing people, the ponies that have been rounded up by animal control and taken to a secure location where they will be studied.”
Luna and I looked at each other with concern on our faces. I'll be honestly surprised if Luna doesn't decide to drop the moon itself on Humanity if this sort of thing continued, pushing the thought aside we continued watching.
It was disturbing to say the least, the ponies they had rounded up and caught were clearly afraid and had no idea of what was going on. I think it speaks for itself that some humans in general are bastards, more so if animals are involved.
“You know the more I learn about all this, the more thankful I am you turned me into a pony Luna.” I stated, “I can't imagine what sort of impression you have on humanity at the moment, but I'm certain it's not a good one” Luna gave a short nod.
“Current research shows that these pony like creatures will group together in herds in an effort to protect themselves and others of their kind.” The news reader continued. I asked Luna what this meant.
“When ponies create a herd in Equestria it means that ponies trust and help each other. A pony can join a herd by crossing their front hooves and bowing.” Luna explained, “Do humans do something similar?”
“On occasion yes, but when a human does it usually seen as an act of loyalty to those they will willingly follow.” I answered. “Mom can Luna and I stay for the night?” Mom nodded, adding that no matter my appearance her son is always welcome here.
Luna and I had to share my old bedroom, and needless to say the news and the other night gave us plenty to think about. It was a small but cosy room with various posters, art reference books and games stacking the shelves on the sky blue walls. This room basically said it all about me, everything in here had sentimental value and memories of I had of when I was younger chilling out or having fun with my friends.
“I know dealing with all this is hard, but you needn't worry yourself about what I think about Humanity.” Luna said, attempting to break the ice, “It's not that Luna, it's just seeing those ponies scared like that not knowing what happened to them...It makes me sick that other people would treat others like that...” Luna stayed silent whilst I ranted, “These are people we are talking about here not some mindless beast. I know humans have done some terrible things, but there are good and kind people in the world...”
“I know there is your one such pony,” Luna added, a sincere smile on her face. “Thank you Luna that means a lot to me”
“Can you tell me why this bothers you so much, Silent passion?”
“My old man taught me how important it was to never abandon the people you care about...” I said flatly, “It was ironic how he taught me that lesson, because one day he just left no goodbye, no note nothing.” Luna put a wing over my shoulder to comfort me, “Did you ever see him again?” I nodded, “He didn't recognize me though...”
The rest of night was quiet, my thoughts kept drifting back to the news, what Luna had said about the situation and eventually to what I had told Luna. Nothing made any sense to me any more, and next to me was the only person who could make sense of everything that happened.
If anyone else saw me as I am now, what would they think? Would I be treated like those ponies on the news? It all came back to what Luna did to save my life, I literally owe her my life....
I got up from the bed, Luna watched me carefully. “Is there something wrong, Silent passion?” She asked, but I remained silent and turned to face her, crossed my fore legs and bowed.
The shock Luna's face was apparent. “Silent passion, do you know what you are offering?” I nodded, “As a human I hereby offer my very life to repay a debt to you and you alone, as a pony I will do my best to aid you in gathering the Elements of Harmony to prevent any one being hurt by our worlds fusing, and anything else you wish of me.”
Luna looked thoughtful for a moment, “Are you sure you want this Silent passion? Once you have made this decision you cannot go back on it.” I nodded in confirmation, “Very well then, Silent passion as princess and co-ruler of Equestria I hereby recognise your request and welcome you as member of our kingdom.” Luna's broken horn glowed brightly and touched my horn with hers causing it too to glow in confirmation. This in turn caused a silver ribbon form between us.
“I haven't seen that in over a thousand years.” Luna admitted, I asked what that ribbon was. “It represents our bond, the ribbon's colour symbolises the type of bond we have...silver represents absolute trust and loyalty.” Luna smiled happily, “With bonds like this we can recreate the Elements of Harmony little by little.” I asked what the other colours meant but Luna said it was better explained as they appeared.
After our pact was made, I admit I felt warm and safe by Luna's company alone. It was the kind of warmth a child must feel when they are being comforted by a parent. I eventually drifted to sleep...
I didn't know my mother was watching us the entire time, she signalled Luna over to talk.
“What did that all really mean?” Mom asked, Luna looked thoughtful for a moment. “Where I am from, when a pony offers themselves to make a pact like that. They are not only joining a herd but entering a covenant with pony they made it with. Since I am royalty this ultimately means she is now one of my students and is under my care and protection.”
It took a while for it to sink in, but Mom got the message.
“How old is your son?” Luna asked, “21. Why did you ask?”
“Silent passion's new body is roughly identical to adolescent mare, which would be roughly 14-17 years in a humans lifespan.” Luna explained, “A ponies life span is roughly around 80-100 years in this worlds time.” Mom let out relieved sigh, “Further more, as she is now my student I will be teaching her pony etiquette, culture and magic. Given the situation and how humanity is treating us she will be learning how to defend herself and others.”
“You mean he'll might have to...” Luna could see the horrified look on my mother's face, “If it comes to that yes we'll have to...but hopefully we won't have to go that far.” Luna reassured her, “It would be best if we both retired for the remainder of the night. We all have a busy night ahead of us tomorrow.” Mom nodded and watched Luna return and curl up next where I was sleeping. As Luna draped a wing over my sleeping form, Mom could've sworn she heard a soft purring coming from me.

A Shard of Loyalty part 2: of Identity and Black Flames
*Chapter 3: A Shard of Loyalty part 2: of Identity and Black Flames.
A soft patter of rain could be heard from outside, not loud but enough to wake me up. I could hear the sound of running up and down stairs, most likely my little brother annoying his sister as usual.
Out of habit I got up walked downstairs and told them to shut up, people are trying to sleep. The silence that rang through out the house was deafening, it didn't take me long before my little sister screamed.
“Oh my god, I finally have my very own pony!” she nearly crushed me with that hug of hers, but what do you expect from an overexcited 9 year old little girl. Johnny, my younger brother was absolutely gob-smacked at the sight before him.
It didn't take long for the racket to wake everyone else up in the house. Dad came thundering down in a foul mood, which is typical of him considering he works night shift. I could've practically predicted what he would have said in the usual situation, but given the sight in front of him he simply mouthed a silent “what the fuck”.
Now here was an opportunity I could not pass up smirking at, the look on the old man's face was priceless. Instead of the normally indifferent look upon his face was a complete confusion, it was rare to see him like this and was nice to see him show a little emotion for once.
Another soft clopping of hooves made their way down the stairs. I greeted the sound with a “Good morning, Luna.” and she replied in kind. Ellen upon seeing Luna, began acting as if she was told she was going to Disney world, I mouthed a silent “I'll explain later” to Luna.
We all made our way into the living room, but before Luna could begin explaining what's going on Mom came in and greeted Luna and I good morning, but she referred to me by name which got everyone’s attention, bar Luna’s.
“How are you here if your still in a coma at the hospital?” Dad asked, confusion apparent on his face. I looked towards Luna.
“What is there is nothing but a temporary illusion, it'll fade within a week.” I guessed that answered the question but I made note to ask Luna about that later. Luna told a slightly altered version of what she told me, making it sound like she was sent to investigate these disappearances in our world instead of finding the humanity's Elements of Harmony.
The old man was unconvinced, but let it slide possibly coming to the idea Luna had her reasons, his gaze turned towards me. I considered the fact he had worked with horses in his youth I knew he would ask me about my condition. As if on cue...
“I can understand your a unicorn of all things now, but why are you a mare?” I turned to Luna for an explanation, as this was going to hit a sore spot for sure with the old man. Mom had a curious look on her as well.
“The spell I cast upon your son, changing her into what you see know brings out how a person sees themselves mentally in pony form.” I knew this was going to be taken the wrong way by the old man...
“So all this time, my stepson has seen himself as a woman?” I have to admit I never really given it much thought, the idea I was transgender on some deep subconscious level had me thinking if anything I felt a lot more comfortable in this new pony body than my human one.
The look on the old man's face was a grim one, but he kept whatever he was thinking to himself.
“So what's going to happen now?” I asked Luna, “Exactly one week from now, my horn should have recovered enough to allow us speak with my sister. In the mean time we are going to draw out your magic into a more personal form.” In my current condition, the most I could do was simple telekinesis.
“When do we start?” I asked “Immediately.”
An hour later, Luna and I sat in my old room. I briefly wondered how we would go about doing this.
“What we are going to do, is dive into the deepest part of your being and draw out your potential.” I allowed myself to get comfortable, and focused my magic. The next thing I knew I was floating down to a large blank platform in the middle of endless black void.
I landed safely I took in my surroundings there was nothing but myself, I took a few steps forward and noticed I was in my human form again. “Luna?” I cried, my voice still sounded feminine on closer inspection I realised that while I was human again, I was a human woman.
“Well it's about time you showed your true colours, Mark.” I looked around, trying to find where that voice was coming, it sounded like my old male voice but more twisted with a slight echo to it.
“Who are you?” I asked simply, “Me? I'm the part of you that you readily hide away from others, the real you!” It let out an insane laugh. “Every little thing that disgusts you, every betrayal, and every little lie that you have told yourself make up a part of me.”
A thick blueish black miasma oozed from the ground slowly becoming a very recognisable form, it was very clearly a mirror image of my male form, it's face covered with a simple grey mask only leaving it's gold coloured eyes visible.
“I am a shadow, the true self!” It introduced itself, it paused briefly, “I am fully aware of why your here, what you can do to me and who is helping you. Make no mistake I'm not happy with what has happened to us or what is about to happen, but the things to come you will need my help whether either of us like it or not!” I was surprised to say the least, “I take it this comes at a price?”
It nodded in confirmation, a twisted smile across it's features, “More like a limit, everything she teaches you will be yours to use as you please, what I offer on the other hand will only come when it's needed most. Now what do you value most?”
“My hopes and dreams, trust and loyalty, the people I care about!”
“And what will you give up in return? I suggest you think carefully.” I could tell a sneer was forming under that mask. It had point though what would I give up? It awaited my answer for what seemed like hours, I soon realised my answer...
“My gender, the male me, the old me! Everything bad that has happened in my life, happened because I couldn't accept who I really am!” I cried, “Yes!! That was the answer I have been waiting for all these years!! As you wish my mistress I am yours to do with as you see fit.”
It took a few steps towards me putting its hand on my shoulder, as it removed it's mask revealing a genuine smile upon its face before fading away.
“Here's to the world, the bonds we make from this point on will be forged with everlasting loyalty, together as one we will make this our pact!”
The blankness beneath me began glow and break apart revealing what looks like stained glass depiction of my true self surrounded by blank panels with the exception of one depicting a star and moon with a silver outline around it.
I extended my hand forward, reaching out...
“With the lies, hardships and betrayals bringing the world into flames, I will undo it all with the Lightning!” I grabbed the air as it became an ornate rapier in a flash of light.
I admit this all felt a little anti-climatic, guess I was fully expecting an all out battle in the centre of the mind or something...
I was engulfed in a flash of light, the next thing I knew I was staring at Luna. I took a moment to examine my appearance realizing I was back in my pony body. I had told Luna what happened but she dismissed the masked spirit as something normal for a human.
Over the week that followed I got me familiar with the magic Luna was teaching me, while I'm not a natural I got the simpler spells down easily but I have a lot trouble with the more complex spells. Luna did ask me why, I told her it was a little like a role playing game earning me puzzled look.
“It's a human thing, sort of like a story only your playing main role.” I explained, “I tend to favour supportive spells more than offensive ones.” It was true though, what I couldn't do with a sword or bow, I made use of defensive magic or spells that hinder my opponent.
“I see...” Luna give considered this for a moment, “So what offensive spells could you learn?” I honestly didn't know what to say really. “I would imagine a simple ranged spell would be useful, some sort of magical arrow maybe, so far you've taught me telekinesis, cloud walking, cast light, a magic weapon enchant, hush, lesser heal and force.”
“What about your own magic?” Luna inquired, I admit I haven't had much opportunity to use my own personal magic yet, “The most I can do is summon my sword, and my ability to seemingly go unnoticed.”
“I suppose we're as ready as we'll ever be then.” Luna sighed, I felt like I disappointed Luna a little. “I'm sorry...just give me more time to improve, please.” I pleaded, “I know you will Silent passion, you've only began to get used to having magic.”
“What will we do once that illusion fades? I mean we only have till tomorrow night before they start looking for me.” I asked, “Tomorrow night we will leave, I will ask my sister for advice. My magic has recovered enough to open a portal to Equestria, from there we will devise a plan to rescue those ponies.” I nodded in confirmation, “I have already sent word to my sister, I should warn you that this is a massive risk. There are things in the realms in-between that will attack us should we be careless, the spells I taught you will help you protect yourself.”
We both began preparing for tomorrow night, I didn't bother telling my family anything other than that I had to leave with Luna. I admit I didn't like the idea of leaving but time was running out with that illusion in place, and I can only do so much right now.
A few hours later Luna began to cast spell that would take us to Equestria, she explained that I would I have to deal with anything that came through the gate, as well the attention it will surely attract.
The sky began to crack and split apart. Luna and I cast the cloud walking spell, and galloped as fast as we both could towards the opening rift. Luna was right I did attract a lot of attention, I followed Luna through the seemingly endless crossroads...but something was wrong.
“Should the crossroads be shaking?” I shouted over the noise. “Behind us!! Just RUN!!”
SKKKKKKRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
The creature emerged behind us, I caught a glance of it...”SHIT!! That's Kalame'et!!” I recognised it from Dark Souls, “The hell is that thing doing here!!”
It roared as it shot black flames at us both, “Use it now!!” I knew that familiar voice. In response I summoned my sword, as Kalame'et began to catch up with us, “Luna!! Aim for the eye, Blind it!!” Luna shot a barrage of moonlit arrows, but couldn't get a direct hit on the pitch black dragon. All it did was get it to focus it's attention on Luna as it sped past me, roaring and howling preparing to turn Luna its next meal. I picked up my pace to catch up with the beast.
“FORCE!!” I cried, sending a shock wave of energy towards it wings knocking out of the air, buying us a couple of seconds to get ahead. It didn't take long for it to catch up to us...
“Silent passion! Ahead of us!” Luna shouted over Kalame'et's enraged roars, was that the Equestria? My thoughts were cut as Kalame'et was shot down by a fiery ball of white light as it knocked the dragon out of the sky. We both jumped out of the rift as it closed behind us.
“Sister!” Luna cried happily, I took one look at Luna's elder sister “Praise the sun...” being the last words to escape my mouth before passing out from exhaustion.

Equestrian life part 1: Adjustment
Chapter 4: Equestrian life part 1: Adjustment.
When I came to a few hours later, I took a moment to gather my surroundings. A large ornate bedroom decorated in various shades of blue making it reminiscent of a night sky. Various tomes and books lay scattered on the desk and floor, judging from the colour scheme alone I would have guessed it was Luna's bedroom though the fact Luna's Cutie mark was emblazoned on the quilt pretty much summed it up for me.
“It's good to see you awake, Silent passion.” Luna greeted as she entered the room, along with her sister Celestia, “So this is the young filly you told me about Luna?” Celestia took her time examining me, “Well my little pony, it seems we have much to discuss regarding the situation.”
“Well where do I begin your highness?” I told Celestia of what happened to Luna, myself, the disappearances and what happened to the captured ponies in my own world. Luna had a question of her own...
“How did you know what that dragon was?” she asked, “I recognise Kalame'et from a piece of fiction of my world, called Dark Souls. My only concern was how a piece of fiction of my world, came to attack us?” Celestia looked thoughtful for moment, “Perhaps what is fiction in one world is reality in another?” It was possible after all, and I suppose it was the best conclusion we could all come to.
“Now, my dear Silent passion. Luna has informed me of your situation and it would be best if you had a medical check up from one of our doctors.” I couldn't argue with Celestia, so I agreed to the check up. “Frostlit shard, can you come here for a moment.” A ice blue pegeasus pony entered the room, “Can you show Silent passion here to the hospital? I've already sent word ahead and their expecting you both.” Frostlit shard gave a curt bow towards the two princesses, and I followed her out of the room.
“So Silent passion? What brings you here to Canterlot?” She wasn't much of a talker I guess, but it was no better way to start a conversation. “I met Luna in my world, and I offered to help her.” Frostlit shard had look of surprise across her features, “There's ponies like us in your world?” she asked, “Not normally no, but ponies such as yourself have been appearing in my world.” surprises turned to confusion. “You mean there isn't any ponies in the human world, but what about yourself?” I paused for a second, “Well, I'm was human, but now I'm as much a pony as you are inside and out.” Her emerald eyes lit up in happiness, this was short lived however as she bumped into something.
“Ya'll want to be a bit more careful miss.” I turned my gaze towards a red coated stallion with a short blonde coloured mane and apple Cutie mark upon his flank. “Sorry Big Macintosh, I kinda got distracted, we're on our way to the hospital.” Big Macintosh pointed towards a huge white building just behind him, “Mind if I joined y'all, ah gotta see if AJ is alright she done gone worked herself to hard again.” Frostlit nodded in agreement, it couldn't hurt after all he seemed like a good pony I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be the strong silent type.
A few minutes later arrived and said our goodbyes to Big Macintosh. We arrived at the reception, and from the looks of it they just came out of an emergency. “I take it there was a few injuries whilst Luna was in my world, Frost?” she nodded, “It took a lot for the princess and the others to stabilize Equestria”
From what I've seen so far, I had expected to be more damage than this but I guess this was the work of the Elements of Harmony. I made a note to ask Luna about that later on.
“Silent Passion?!” A nurse called, “The doctor will see you now.” I made my way into the examination room, and was greeted with a simple take a seat. The doctor reassured me that this is nothing more than physical, as the doctor examined me various “Hmm's” “Aha's” and “I see's” could be heard followed by the snapping of a rubber glove....
“SWEET JESUS THATS COLD!!!”
I felt violated...”Well Ms Passion, you are for all intents and purposes a perfectly healthy mare, but given your situation though you won't be able to have foals and from the looks of it you have abnormality with the lense of your left eye. Did you by any chance wear glasses before your change?” I nodded in confirmation...while I doubted I could have foals in the first place, I was a little upset being told the piece of news.
“There's only one more thing to do and we are done!” the doctor said with an all to happy smile for my liking. He pulled out a syringe...oh god it's an injection...I hate injections...I loathe injections...I despise injections...
“help...” I whimpered.
Various sounds of crashing, screaming and crying ensued. Frostlit Shard sighed as the chaos inside the room continued for, while the other patients were laughing their asses off. It took 5 other nurses to hold me down as the doctor now a little battered gave me the shot.
“You really had to make this difficult didn't you?” Frostlit was on the verge of laughing on the floor when she saw my misfortune. “I hate injections... so very, very much...” I simply stated, “We shall never speak of this evil again 'kay.”
“Y’all okay over there? Ah heard all that racket you were makin'.” We turned to see Big Macintosh looking round at the damage, “Nothing was injured bar my pride, how's your sister doing?”
“She'll be up an at'em within a day or two, She's a stubborn that sister of mine.” Grinning he was about to take his leave, “Ah reckon I'll be seein' you two later, if y’all don't mind ah got mah errands to run.” with that he took his leave.
“Wow, that has got to be the most I've heard him say.” Frostlit said in amusement, “C'mon Silent Passion we have one more stop before we get back.” Frostlit was definitely...a spirited mare to say the least, but nonetheless I followed her to our next destination.
We eventually arrived at what seemed to be a boutique, shaped like a carousel? “Well that's something I haven't seen in years.” Frostlit Shard went in first, and I followed suit. “Welcome to the grandest tailor and boutique in Canterlot.” she said in awe, I looked around seeing various pony shaped manikins, sketches of dresses, and various types of fabric. Frostlit said she was going let the owner we were here.
In the meantime I walked over and examined some of the sketches, whoever the designer was is definitely talented. I looked over them with a critical eye, good colour schemes, shapes that flattered the body, the use of gemstones however was not to my taste...was it the signature of the artist? I took note of an unfinished drawing, it was a long flowing dress separated into two parts, uncoloured
and lacking the gemstone it had a simple feel to it, which I liked...
“Darling, it is very unladylike to go snooping through another mares things.” I turned to see a marsh mellow white unicorn mare with a purple mane and three gemstones for a Cutie mark. “Are you the designer of these dresses?” I asked, she nodded with a small smile, “I see you have an eye for fashion deary, did anything catch your eye?” I pointed to that unfinished piece, “Oh sadly I have been in ever the most frustration with that piece, I can't seem to come up with a theme for it.” I took another look at it, “How about blue for the outer layer with black for the inner layer, possibly a thin gold edge to make them stand out more?” The mare took a look at the design, nodded “It's simple but genius!” she exclaimed in excitement, “but I must ask, are you a designer?” I was but not the kind she was thinking of, “I am a designer of sorts, but I don't specialise in the kind of designing you do though.” I said embarrassed, “Any way, Frost why are we here?” I asked to change the subject.
“The princesses are holding the annual gala at the end of the week, so we are here to pick you up a dress.” Frost said that a bit to enthusiastically for my liking, “Fair enough, but why am I going?” I asked, “Well Princess Luna did mention that this would be a good chance to learn about our culture so to speak.” Well that cinched it, who am I to argue with Luna, she must have her reasons after all.
“Hang on a second! With all the chaos going on in both worlds why are we holding a gala of all things?” This was bothering me a bit, “The princesses decided to let life carry on as normal here to avoid a mass panic. There's very few that know what's going on, in fact most ponies don't even know you're originally Human.” she added. “Oh so your the mare I've heard so much about, I'm Rarity by the way.”
“Silent Passion, it's a pleasure to meet you Rarity.” Unfortunately we were interrupted by a...unwanted guest. “Why hello there, and what can I do for you lovely young fillies on this wonderful day.” I could practically hear Rarity mutter something about rotting in a ditch under her breath. The stallion gave a mischievous grin, good lord did he think he was god's gift to women. “And, you are...?” I asked, “I am prince Blueblood, at your service my fine lady.” Rarity gave a quick whistle and soon enough, a small white grumpy looking cat entered the room. “Opal dear this is Blueblood.” Rarity said pointing a hoof a the stallion in question, “Could please make like a squirrel?” That cat just hissed and launched itself at him like it possessed. “Your going to have to teach me how you got your cat to do that, Rarity.”
Various cries of pain could be heard as Rarity, Frost and I was laughing,
There was awkward moment of silence between us all after the laughter subsided. He limped off in a huff, good riddance for all I care, “Who let him out of his cage?” I said simply, “Oh don't you worry about him deary, he's just a pest that's all.
...if he does so much as look at me with that lecherous look again, I'm going to castrate him...again
Now do you have any ideas which dress you want?” Rarity pulled out a catalogue of various dresses she had designed, but none took my fancy. “How about that unfinished one?” I asked, and she was ecstatic of the idea, “Oh darling, I promise you, you'll be the bell of the gala once I'm done!”
We bid Rarity goodbye, and headed back to the palace. “Do you have any idea of where to look for the Elements of Harmony in your world, Silent?” Frostlit asked, “Honestly I have no clue, Luna and I think we can recreate them from shards but how though remains to be seen.”
The evening was a little uneventful, so I retired to my room for the time being. Looking out at the evening sky you wouldn't think I was in different world now...I wondered how my family was doing briefly. I closed my eyes I could faintly hear the sound of music and a choir? The music was beautiful, yet familiar to me...ah yes I recognise the piece: Memoro de la Stono. Given the mood I did something well foalish of me, something I don't openingly do around anyone...I sang.
I didn't realise I had company, as I had been lost in moment while I was singing. I turned round and saw I my singing had caught the attention of Celestia. I immediately turned the brightest shade of red possible from embarrassment, “That was wonderful singing, definitely something that came from the heart. I'm beginning to see why you took the name Silent Passion, though sadly that isn't why I'm here.” Getting over my embarrassment, I asked, “Why are you here then? Is there any news of my world?” She shook her head, “I'm afraid not sadly, but I have good news...Luna has found a Shard of Harmony.” This was unexpected. “How?”
“It was created, when you entered in that covenant with my sister. Thus making you an Element bearer in the making.” Celestia stated with a bright smile, “My little pony, the Elements of Harmony are created and strengthened by the bonds we have with others. Be it pony or humankind it's those bonds with others that make us who we are.”
“So by making bonds with others, we can remake an Element. I would imagine it would have to be a genuine bond though.” Celestia nodded, “Yes, this is something that cannot be forced nor faked.”
“I'm glad you decided to help Luna, on that night. Although you lost your former body, you were rewarded with a chance to start again, as the person you were meant to be.” Celestia was right, ever since I woke up in my new body, I felt...free to be to who I really am. As the old me, I was afraid of myself, of what people thought, confused about my place in the world...on the worst days I couldn't even look at my own reflection.
Although I made a few friends, I wondered how this would change how they saw me. It was because of my friends, the bonds I had with them that made it all bearable.
“I swear never to abandon those who I cared for, to protect those bonds with my very life!” I remembered that promise, those words were carved into my very being that day...
“We're friends no matter what happens, right mate.” Words like that gave me strength, when I needed it most...
“With the friends I have, being loyal is the least I could be. To betray some like that goes against everything I believe!” Celestia's warm smile grew bigger, “That's who you are, but that is only one part of who you really are. The rest will come in time.”
“Now my dear Silent Passion, it would be best you get some rest, Luna fully intends to work you hard over the next few days. In the meantime the rest of us will be setting up for the gala.”
Celestia was right, over the next few days Luna practically schooled me in Equestrian history, magical theory and applications, how to look after my own body, and simple etiquette for the upcoming gala. There was a few visits from Frostlit Shard and Big Macintosh who I got to know better, unfortunately I also had visits from Blueblood under the pretence of 'getting to know the new girl'.
“Look, I know your reputation, and how you treat other mare's. I'm not interested so back off!!” I practically shouted at him, he looked outraged, “Just who are you! To talk to me like that!” he sneered, “I'm Silent Passion! And just who are you to think I'm some trophy you can claim!!”
He left in a huff, good riddance.
Mean while with Celestia...
“I hear I'm not the only human turned pony here?” A voice asked, “I've heard the rumours flying around this place are they true?” Celestia nodded, “It seems my dear sister picked up a new student while she was in the human world, by the way have you decided on a name yet.”
“Considering I'm now in your service your majesty, I guess Solaire would make do for now.”

The gala was about to start. It was grand ceremony to say the least, if a bit too fancy for my tastes. Frostlit Shard seemed to be enjoying herself chatting with a seemingly shy yellow pegeasus with a pink mane. Macintosh, as I started to call him was chatting with me. I admit for some-pony who doesn't talk much he does like to talk when you get his interest in something.
“How is your sister doing by the way?” I asked, “Mah sis is doin' fine, she just needs to stop bein' so stubborn and ask fer help.” Considering he has a thick accent, your first impression of him would be the typical uneducated farmer. Once you get to know him though he is very intelligent and I admit it is nice to have an intelligent conversation, talking about stuff like science, technology and psychology was kind of a wasted attempt with my family.
Blueblood, unfortunately decided to pay us a visit. You could practically tell Macintosh didn't like him given the unamused expression on his face. “So tell me my dear, are you enjoying the evening? My beloved aunt really knows how to throw a grand ball wouldn't you agree?” I couldn't argue, I had to admit she did know how to throw a party. “I have to admit Celestia does know how to throw a party, it's far grander than anything I've ever been to.”
“If you excuse me, I have other...matters to attend to.” Yeah right more like try to get your leg over Blue balls. “Thank god he's gone.” I muttered. The rest of the evening, was wonderful aside from that fight that broke out near the punch bowl.
“Macintosh, I think something is wrong.” Macintosh looked at me quizzically, “How'd y'all mean?”
I looked around, looking for any sign of Blueblood, “Correct me if I'm wrong, Blueblood strikes me as the type of pony who go for anything female am I right?” Macintosh nodded, “Now look around, here we are in a room full of the best looking mares in Equestria and yet Blueblood is nowhere to be seen, does that strike you as a bit odd?” Macintosh looked round to see if he could spot him, “Ah can see what yer tryin' to get at. As much as ah hate him I could've sworn he was involved in that scuffle by the punch bowl.” Speaking of which I was getting thirsty, “Fancy getting a drink?” I asked.
We grabbed a drink each, and chatted with Frostlit Shard and the shy pegeasus Fluttershy. “Ms Passion, are you okay?” asked the shy pony, I didn't to be honest. I had only had a few drinks of the punch, it tasted a bit funny but I passed that off as normal for an alcoholic drink in Equestria. “I'm fine, my body does feels a little warm though.” Macintosh looked at me worryingly, “You know now that y'all mention it some of the cake tasted a bit funny as well.” okay I was worried now, “You mean some-pony spiked the food and drink?” Macintosh nodded, I felt myself getting frustrated at the situation and I felt a little warmer again, “Frostlit would y'all be kind to let the guards know that the food and drink has seemed to be spiked. I'm gonna take Ms Passion back to her room.” Frostlit and Fluttershy nodded, and headed of to find one of the palace guards.
“Thank you Macintosh.” I was grateful for his help, “How are you holding up, you said you had some of that spiked food to.” I couldn't take it, my body felt hot all over and getting increasingly frustrated. “Ah feel a little hot under mah collar if y'all know what I mean.” What the drink spiked with an aphrodisiac? “I don't know how but I think Blueblood is behind this.”
We entered my room, “Macintosh can you get me a drink of water please. My Mom always did say to keep your fluids up when you get like this. It especially helps with the hangovers.” He nodded and went to get the water.
God this frustration and heat was getting worse, I felt like...well as Macintosh put hot under the collar. If it was an aphrodisiac it would explain the heat and this sudden urge to...no I'm not going to go there...
Macintosh came back with the glass of water, he looked just as bad as I must do right know with all this heat. “Thank you.” “Y'all welcome.” As I drank I took notice of his features, might be the heat talking here but I could definitely could consider him handsome for a pony, I mean I am still mentally a human right? Or is this all starting to get to me...more likely it was the punch.
If it was an aphrodisiac, then all I'm feeling right now will only get worse if what Luna said was right, to the point of where I'll more or less fuck anything near by, there was one solution to the problem and I'm not sure if I liked the idea...
“Macintosh, I think the food and drink was spiked with an aphrodisiac and its putting us both in heat.” Macintosh agreed, “It's a very common tactic fer any-pony who is desperate enough.” I didn't like thought of what Blueblood had in mind if he was responsible for this, “This'll only get worse if we don't do anything, Macintosh and I don't want to be known as that sort of mare. Not with everything that's happened recently.” Macintosh grimaced, “Ah know how y'all feel, but y'all do know what your implyin' now?” I nodded, “Yes I do, I'd rather do that with you than let Blueblood have his way with me.” “But what if y'all get pregnant?” I shook my head, “I can't the doctor said I was infertile.” I wasn't going to say why, I wasn't sure if he knew about where I was from. “Ah understand, jus' don't be surprised if ah get clingy on y'all. It's sorta a downside to being a stallion in heat.” I couldn't hold the feeling back any more so I just caved.
“Urgh...dear god my head...I haven't had a hangover or felt this sore since university” I moaned, I felt a warmth next to me, oh god I didn't did I...”Well that would explain why I'm sore.”
I had quick look of what I could see: books thrown across the floor, a badly damaged desk, and...was that hoof prints on the ceiling? “How in the...?” Okay Passion think what happened last night.
Lets see, attending the gala, chatting with Macintosh, that fight, then with Frost and Flutters, having a few rounds...of...punch. “I'm going to kill him.” I muttered darkly.
“How y'all feelin'?” I turned towards Macintosh, “I'm fine, thank you for helping me last night.” I blushed slightly. “I hope this doesn't make anything awkward between us, Mac.”
We were interrupted by knock on the door, “May I come in Silent Passion? Frostlit Shard and Fluttershy told me what happened last night.” It was Luna, naturally she would check up on her students.
“What do we do Macintosh?” I whispered, “Only thing we can do is jus' explain what happened, ah got ya back no matter what.” he was right, god this was going to be embarrassing.
“You can come in Luna...” she entered, Luna went wide eyed in shock at our situation, the state of the room and who I was sharing my bed with. “What is the meaning of all this...mess?”
“You know how Frost and Fluttershy told you that the food and drink was spiked, well we found out it was spiked with an aphrodisiac a little too late...” I could feel my self turning the same shade of red as Macintosh's fur. “So you slept with Applejack's brother?” I nodded...”It was either him or the alternative, and given the alternative...I-I would rather it be him than some strange pony.” I admitted.
Luna looked a little disappointed with the both of us, “Well I can't say I approve of your decision, but given the situation it wasn't your fault. Alas though you are going to deal with the consequences.” Luna gave a small smile, “You do realise by letting an alpha or herd leader do that to you, he will be overprotective of you from now on, more so over the next few days.” I looked at Macintosh, to which he nodded in confirmation. “Even if you express no interest doing that again with him. To put it simply, he's claimed you as his even if you are only friends, you are for all intents part of his herd now as much as you are mine.” she giggled.
Why do I get the sudden feeling his sister is going to kick my ass..., any how I got out of bed to get myself cleaned up, Luna and Macintosh just watched as I limped to the bathroom...
“And you can wipe that smirk of your face Macintosh!” I yelled from the bathroom, “Once I'm done Blue Balls is getting a lesson on how to treat mares properly!” This of course had Luna in hysterics.
Dear lord, what have I gotten myself into...I tried my best to remember what happened last night...I went bright crimson at the memory. I ran the shower on cold, yep his sister was going to kill me...and worst thing about it was I didn't regret it...
As soon as we were ready we both headed off to find Blueblood, So we first stopped by Rarity's as from what I could gather they have a history with each other. “Silent Passion, Darling are you okay? Fluttershy told me what happened last night, whoever did this is nothing more than a leach.” Rarity looked concerned, “I'm fine Rarity, do you know where Blueblood is? We think he's responsible for spiking the food and drink.” Rarity looked furious, “It isn't the first time he's tried that underhanded tactic to get what he wants, some poor mare was found raped of all things after the gala.” Does Celestia know about all this? That sick fuck is going to get it big time. “Rarity I think we might have to see the princess about this.” She nodded, “I think we should find Frostlit and Fluttershy as well.”
When we arrived back at the palace, we saw Blueblood talking with Celestia. He turned to look at us “There he is aunt! The lowly stallion who spiked the food and drinks.” He accused, “Stop lying, Macintosh was with me the entire night, as well as Frostlit Shard and Fluttershy. If anything we should be accusing you spiking the food and drink, considering you disappeared after that fight broke out!”
Celestia turned towards her nephew with a scowl across her features, “Is this true?” She asked him, he turned to face me with the utmost malice across his features, “Your nothing more than a fucking whorse to that farmyard hick! You could have had a real stallion rutting you!” he ranted like a lunatic.
We didn't notice Applejack and Luna enter the room amongst the arguing...
I scoffed, “Is that right, if I do recall I did have a real stallion rutting me last night! And if given the opportunity I would let him do so again! Macintosh is more than stallion than you'll ever be!” Room went completely silent and looked in my direction, and it just clicked what I had just said. I went bright crimson upon realisation, god...oh god it felt like I was going to breakdown.
Macintosh took a few steps towards me and nuzzled me, “Don't y'all worry, everything'll be all right!” He reassured me.
“Blueblood, what y'all did to the food and drink last night was unforgivable! Don't y'all realise that some poor mare was raped because of some foalish thing ya did out of spite!” Macintosh accused the mad prince, “R-raped?!, I-I only wanted Silent Passion...” This made me more furious, “Even if you didn't rape that poor mare, the fact you would resort to drugging another pony just because they weren't interested in you is nothing short of sick!” Celestia turned towards Blueblood, a stern look on her face, “Blueblood, prince or not you realise you have to be punished for your actions. Guards take him away I will deal with him later.” She ordered.
Celestia took a moment to compose herself, “I'm sure that everyone's tempers are at a high at present. Can you explain to Applejack what happened last night.” We all turned to the orange mare, who was currently in shock of my admission earlier.
“Rarity, would y'all take Silent Passion back to her room, she's getting shaken up from everythin' that's happened.” Rarity nodded, and lead me back to my room with Fluttershy, Frost and Luna in tow. As we left Macintosh was explaining what happened to his sister and Celestia.
“How could you let that happen?” Luna asked me, “I remembered what you said about being in heat, that it gets worse over time. Once we realised what the food and drink was spiked with, I panicked I didn't want to go through that with some strange pony...” The room was silent...
“Silent Passion, we realise your situation that you were originally a human male and now your very much a mare for the rest of you life. We must ask do you have any regrets?” I shook my head, “No I don't. Ever since you changed me into a mare I've never been more happy, because you all I could finally accept myself as a person and a pony.” Luna smiled, “Darling you've got whole life ahead of you, your a wonderful kind mare who cares deeply for others and the loyalty you show is rare indeed.” Rarity added, “And I'm sure Macintosh will be a perfect fit for you...”
“What happened last night was a one time thing with us...” I stated simply, Rarity gave a knowing smile, “Darling, it isn't as simple as that...Macintosh has claimed you. Even if either of you don't pursue a relationship...oh how do I put it...your friends with benefits now.” I turned crimson again, how would my parents react to this? “You basically asked him to do that with you, and in our society it's one of the highest forms of trust.” I didn't know what to say, I looked to Frostlit Shard and Luna for answers.
“Well I guess I'm gonna have to help you from now on, after all I can't have my friend hurt by people like Blueblood” Frostlit said cheerily, I smiled, “Aren't you a compassionate one.” I giggled at her enthusiasm, “Thank you Frost.”
Unbeknownst to us Luna, Fluttershy and Rarity all had a knowing smile on their faces. “If you excuse us, we have to discuss something with my sister.” And with that they all left Frostlit Shard and myself alone in my room.
“Why do I get the feeling we've missed something.” I muttered. Frost and I chatted with each other and got to know each other better. She told me she had been helping Fluttershy looking after her animals as an apprentice, and how she came to hear about what was going on in my world, and like myself she had promised the princesses to help recreate the Elements of Harmony in the human world. Given our situations we decided to be partners in crime from that point on.
Soon Macintosh, came back into the room to check up on me along with his sister, Applejack. “Y'all okay?” he asked, I nodded and turned towards Applejack. “Big Mac 'ere told me what happened to ya, ah admit it'll take a while to get used to all this, but y'all be good to mah bro 'ere and well get on like apple cider and a thirsty pony.”
I walked up to Macintosh, and kissed him, “Thank you for everything, Macintosh.”
Mean while with Blueblood...
“What in Equestria are you doing!!” He barked, “I would advise you stay away from my friend, Blueblood or so help me we'll both find out how true your namesake is! ” The voice growled, “Your aunt will be here to deal with you soon.”
“That's enough, Solaire. I shall take it from here.” Celestia ordered as she entered the room, Solaire noted Celestia had look of clear and calm fury on her face. “Why don't you catch up with your friend, I'm sure you have quite the tale to tell her.” Solaire nodded and left with a “Yes your majesty.”

Chapter 6: A Shard of Honesty part 1: Lost and Found.
A few more days passed by, Celestia and Luna called us into the meeting room to discuss the issue of the people turned ponies of my world and our progress on finding the Shards of Harmony.
“Now my dear subjects, it has come to our attention that three of the human Element's of Harmony have began reforming and strengthening.” Three? I was only aware of one part of an element being found, “What's the other element?” I asked, “Compassion, or kindness as some would call it. It seems your interactions with our dear Frostlit Shard and Macintosh has began the recreation of the Element of Compassion, and in turn strengthened the Shards of Loyalty you possess.” I was confused, “So who holds the Shards of Compassion?”
The princess walked over to Frostlit Shard smiling, “It would be our dear Frostlit Shard here.” however as good news as this was, “Unfortunately, it would seem another of the Shards has reappeared in the Human world. Where though we have no idea, we have a way to find it though, or to be more precise you do, Silent Passion.” I was going to ask how but...
“I suggest you leave that to me.” I heard a familiar voice speak, “No...that couldn't be...?”
“Ah Solaire, I'm glad you could finally join us.” I turned to face our guest, a dark grey furred earth pony with blue eyes, and blonde mane and tail with red streaks running through parts of it. His Cutie mark was single sword with a sun behind it.
He took one look at me, “Have we met before?” I was a little insulted, but given my appearance I'm not surprised. “Dunno you tell me blondie
An hour later Solaire came up to my room to catch up. Good god I hated it when he had that smirk on his face. “So care to explain how you ended up in my situation, Mark?” He asked, “Well Shane, I was beaten within an inch of my life and Luna saved my life. I'm more interested in how you got here?” I asked in return, “Nothing special, I was looking into these disappearances out of curiosity and...” He hesitated, “You fell down the rabbit hole didn't you?” I finished, a little amused with his situation curiosity always was his downfall.
“I do have one question though? Why are you a mare?” He pointed his hoof at me, causing me to blush a little. I mumbled something, “I can't here you.” Tch fine...”I said, the same spell that was cast on you bases it's form on the targets personality unlike you though my body was destroyed by said spell.” Solaire gave a thoughtful pose, “Gender flipping aside, How have you been mate?” he asked.
“Honestly, confused as hell and a little sore still.” We caught up with what happened over the months of Solaire's disappearance, how his family missed him and what happened with my family and how I met Luna. “So, what's up with you and Macintosh then, did something happen?”
Oh god no...if I told him this, he would freak big time...”Shane if I tell you, you have to promise me that will no tell anyone especially my parents! Cause if you do I will damn well make sure you never have any kids do you understand me?” I made my point clear, causing him to take a few steps back out of fear. “Macintosh and I are...I mean...we had...sex that night, due to Blueblood's stunt with the food and drink...” I explained going bright red. “Do you regret it? Be honest here.” Solaire asked sternly, he always was protective of others. “That's the thing, I don't. I'm really fucking confused here...I mean sure I'm both a woman and a mare now, how am I supposed to deal with that? Even if I could return to being human, my body was destroyed Shane! It would be a women's body I would be returning to. You know how my parents are with the LBGT thing.” I felt like I was going to break down again...keep it together Passion. “Ah...that issue, not gonna lie here I'm little freaked out but I understand your situation.” He reassured me, “Besides I'm not the kinda guy who ditches his friends due to something as petty as that. Just go with what feels right, and you'll be fine.”
“C'mon I imagine they're all waiting for us.” Solaire gestured to follow.
In one of the meeting rooms we were greeted by Luna, Macintosh and Frost. Macintosh made his way over towards me and led me to my seat next to him, Solaire kept a expressionless look as he watched us...
“At least he's treating her well...”Solaire mused, making a note to chat with Macintosh later. “Luna can I ask you something?” Luna gestured as if to go on, “Silent Passion has informed me of what happened that night, but I have to ask how come she is acting like well...a mare?” Solaire asked curiously, “The spell in question didn't affect her personality or her mind, she is only acting like that because it's natural for her.” Luna explained, “Ah...So was she transgendered?” Solaire wondered to himself, “No wonder she was nervous earlier.” he muttered.
Soon enough we were joined by the Equestrian Elements of Harmony, “Would y’all mind keepin' that there mushy stuff down?” Applejack asked as she entered the room, “Oh hohoho? What do we have here, you've only been here only a week and you've already bagged a stallion? Darling we simply must chat later.” Rarity added when she saw us.
“LOOK OUT BELOW!!!!” shortly after a light blue, rainbow coloured maned pegeasus crashed into the room, “Dashie! I thought I told you to slow down!” A purple alicorn scolded at the pegeasus, “I do apologise, Rainbow here is a little bit of a speed freak.” The pegeasus, Rainbow responded with a smirk on her features. “Aw, but Twi I thought you love it when I go hard and fast?” The alicorn blushed heavily.
A few minutes later we were joined by Fluttershy and a hyper active pink blur of an earth pony, moving and hopping around at speeds that would make a certain hedgehog jealous. “Now that we are all here why don't you all introduce yourselves?” Luna asked.
“I'm Silent Passion, a pleasure to meet you all. I'm apparently holding the shards of the human element of Loyalty.” This caught Rainbow's interest, “I've already met Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack.”
“I'm Solaire, I hold the shards of the human element of Honesty. Passion and I go back a few years.” Solaire explained bluntly.
“We've all met already, but I hold the shards of the human element of Compassion. Even though I'm not human originally.” Frost happily quipped.
“As Ms Passion as stated, she has already met me, Applejack and our dear Fluttershy. I hold the Element of Generosity, Applejack has the Element of Honesty and Fluttershy has the Element of Kindness.” Rarity explained, Solaire gave Fluttershy a quick look. “Hey Passion, 20 bits says Fluttershy here is the most dangerous one in the room.” I shot him a glance, “Deal.”
“Any how, I'm Twilight Sparkle, I hold the Element of Magic, and over here is Rainbow dash.” Twilight pointed to Rainbow Dash. “Element of Loyalty at you service.” She said as she puffed her chest out proudly.
“Ooo, Ooo, do me, do me!! My turn!!!” The hyper pink pony giggled madly, “I'm Pinkie Pie, but you can call me Pinkie, I'm the Element of Laughter you got that?” Pinkie all but rushed that sentence, “Um okay...I'm happy to meet you, Pinkie.” The pony in question, giggled madly, “I got my eye on you, I bet your as fun as Dashie. Okie-dokie-lokie.”
“Pinkie that ain't no way to talk to our guests.” Macintosh said sternly, “So your the mare that bagged Big Mac?” Rainbow asked, “Do you really want to go down that route, Dash?” I warned, “Bring it! In fact what can you tell us about all of us element bearers?” She dared.
“Your sleeping with Twilight even though may or may not deny it, AJ isn't to happy with me at the moment due to incidents I won't say out of respect of present company. Rarity is a brilliant designer I hope to work with in the future. Pinkie can and will end me if I break any sort of promise most likely with some sort of baked good.” I shivered, “Flutters here wouldn't surprise me if she could pull of a Shun Goku Satsu, and Twi here would like to dress you up as princess Celestia just so she could have her way with you.” I said flatly.
POMF!!
Every one turned to Twilight, whose wings were now fully erect and spread out. She was blushing and drooling a bit too. Damn I was making up that last one. Solaire gave a chuckle, “You'll have to forgive my friend there, she doesn't like her privacy invaded by anyone.”
“Any how...” Luna coughed, “You are all aware of our situation, and our first priority is rescuing those human turned ponies and finding the remaining shards and the remaining elements. Solaire I understand you have some information to share.”
“Yes, when I started investigating these disappearances I was attacked by a some monsters.” Solaire explained, “Normally I would be freaked out but I recognise those monsters...they were straight out of a card game...” He didn't mean that game did he? “Another case of fiction becoming reality?” I mused, Solaire gave me a quizzical look. “On the way here Luna and I were attacked by Kalame'et.” I explained, the look on his face said it all. “Then we'll need back up big time.” Solaire stated flatly.
“That is why I am coming with you.” Luna insisted, “We don't know what else we would encounter.”
“Speaking of which?” Solaire tossed a deck of cards in my direction, “I believe these are yours. If we are going to be fighting monsters from that particular game, then why not fight fire with fire?” Luna gave Solaire a curious look, “If those particular monsters are appearing then someone is summoning them. I reckon if we find him we'll get some answers.”
I took note of what Solaire was saying, “but what about keeping hidden, ponies aren't exactly welcome back home.” I added, Solaire gave me a funny look. “What do you mean?” Luna grimaced, “It would seem humans aren't exactly treating our kind with kindness.” She said simply, “Even so leave that detail to my sister and I.”
“What's our situation then?” Solaire asked, “Celestia as arranged a more permanent place to stay in the human world. It's just the last few details we need to prepare, any how over the next fortnight each of you will be learning to improve your talents. I must ask Solaire do you have anything to add, you've known Silent Passion here longer than us all. Can you tell me how she is a combat situation?” Luna inquired, Solaire gave a quick grin in my direction. “She's naturally the sneaky type if that disappearing trick of hers is any indication, not much of a fighter in close combat though.” I frowned at that last part, “but I would give her plenty of ranged and defensive options.”
“She's not good in close combat?” Luna gave a curious look, “Well yes and no. She has the technique down perfectly but lacks any sort of power.”
“And what about yourself?” Solaire gave a thoughtful look, “I would say I'm more of a front line fighter. Magic wise I've got nothing but what your sister taught me.” Luna nodded, “Since we'll be going against those monsters leave them to us.” I smirked I was going to enjoy that.
“Any how that is all for now. Silent Passion can I have word for you in private.” Luna asked, “If you don't mind me I'll have to see your sister your highness.” Every one left leaving just Luna and I.
“What do you make of Solaire, Silent Passion?” Luna asked, “He's a childhood friend, a little to honest for his own good but a good guy nonetheless.” Luna was quiet for a moment, “It seems I'll be teaching you a few new spells. If Celestia has been training Solaire it is almost certain he's learnt a few of the sunlight miracles.” She explained, “How can Solaire use magic? He isn't a unicorn or an alicorn.” I asked curiously, “It is most likely he entered a covenant with Celestia like you did with myself, the only difference being you have more magic to work with.”
Luna left silently thinking to herself, “Well dear sister, I guess I'll be teaching her a few of my more personal spells.”

Chapter 7: Home Sweet Home part 1: Where the Heart is...
We all began making our final preparations for our journey back to the human world. Living in Equestria was wonderful experience and to be honest it felt a little like home, Luna herself is becoming less of a mentor and more of a mother to me over the past few weeks I've been living here. The sad thing is after hearing and seeing some of the damage done I'm finding myself caring less and less about humanity, as for as I'm concerned I'm doing this to save the people I care for.
“Are you ready yet, Silent?” Solaire asked, I nodded. He gave me a sceptical look as if to say 'be straight with me here.' “I'm a little nervous Solaire, what we're about to do, my parents and our friends reactions to my new human form...you know how they are.” I said worryingly, “Try not to worry about it, mate. You know we'll have your back no matter what.” Solaire reassured.
“Ah reckon it'll be fine.” Macintosh comforted me, as he entered the room followed by Frost and Luna. “Mac's right it'll be fine if we all stick together.” Frost said cheerily, “If everyone's ready I'll go over the final details.” Luna stated, we all nodded. “My sister will be opening a portal to the human world which will take us to our temporary home Celestia has managed to obtain for us. Once we rest we'll begin to search for clues regarding these monster sighting Solaire told us about, if we are fortunate we should find some information regarding the worlds fusing together.”
“Now let us make haste to the royal throne room.” Luna ordered. This is it Solaire and I will be going home, I wonder how his family will react to seeing him back given he's been gone for so long. “Is every one ready?” Celestia asked as we entered the throne room, we all nodded. “What your doing for us, Silent Passion and Solaire. I thank you on behalf of Equestria and please watch yourselves out there.” Celestia's horn began to glow giving off a soft warm light that enveloped the room in colours that reminded me of a warm summers morning. A portal opened up like before and we all galloped as fast as we could through the disorientating pathways.
The trip was a lot safer this time round, soon enough we all found ourselves in the living room of a large apartment. I gave a quick look round, the apartment had quite a modern yet minimalist look like something you would expect a very well off person to have. “Is every pony okay?” Frost asked, “Ah'm fine, ah feel a bit funny though.” Macintosh added.
We all looked at ourselves, and found we were all...human?
Solaire looked like he did normally as human, blonde hair, blue eyes, average height and wearing his usual red and black jeans, t-shirt and trench coat.
Frost's short hair and eyes matched her usual icy hues, a little shorter that Solaire and wore a stylish denim jacket, blouse and jeggings which were coloured in various hues of pale greens and blues.
Macintosh was easily the tallest of us, with very strong but slender build, his outfit was a simple red t-shirt and black pair of jeans, he still sported his messy blonde hair though.
Luna gave of the image of woman of high class and her outfit gave her business like feeling.
“How bad is it?” I asked, Solaire pointed to a mirror. I took a look in the mirror and gasped.
I was now a little shorter than Solaire, my hair was now shoulder length styled so the back went over my left shoulder, My eye's hadn't changed much aside the fact I no longer had those dark marks around them that all my family seemed to have. Lips were a bit fuller looking and slightly pinker than I remembered. I looked down...my body hadn't changed much beside the fact I was a bit more curvy than I was normally and I was bit amused I had B-cup sized breasts.
I was wearing a dark blue dress with black jeggings, and I still had my favourite jacket on. I frowned and clicked my fingers causing two pairs of thin framed glasses to appear in front of Solaire and myself. “Much better.” I stated simply.
Macintosh gave me a quick wolf whistle, “If that's what yer look like now, ah ain't complain'.” Solaire gave him an curious look, “You do realise she used to be a guy right?” There was awkward silence, “So what if I was? This is me now, the real me. I'm as much a woman now as Luna and Frost, I know this is a subject your uncomfortable with Solaire but please bear with me here.” I added. “Sorry.” He said simply.
Moving on we had a look around the apartment, it had two floors a bathroom on each, four bedrooms on the second and the kitchen/dining room combo on the bottom. Each of the bedroom doors had our respective Cutie Marks on them so well could tell what room belonged to who. I took note of my door and blushed a little. Solaire caught this and chuckled, as my bedroom door not only had my Cutie Mark but Macintosh's as well.
While the fact that Macintosh and I slept together due to that incident caused by Blueblood was not secret amongst our group, the fact Macintosh and I found ourselves getting to know each other better during my time in Equestria was not such common knowledge as I kept that between myself and Macintosh. He came one evening and asked if I would be willing to get to know him better, and it sort of went further from there.
“Something you need to tell us you two?” Luna asked amused, “Ah ain't sayin' a thing.” Macintosh said flatly trying to hide a smirk, Solaire gave me a look and shook his head. “It's your life.” He said shrugging his shoulders.
“Shall I call your families to let them know your back?” Luna asked, Solaire nodded. “Call hers first, they'll let my family know I'm back.” Luna did just that and passed the phone over to me.
“Mom, I'm back. Shane's with me as well, could you let his mother know he's here. Okay I'll see you soon Mom.” The conversation was short and sweet, I never was one for talking. “They'll be here in the morning, if it's all the same to you I'm going to bed.” I said simply as I made my way to my room.
Inside I found that the dresser draws had been stocked full of clothing, I blushed a little at some of the contents...I really need to have a word with Rarity when I next see her. I got changed into a simple cropped vest and shorts and just drifted off.
An hour or two later I found myself curling up to something warm, with out thinking a cuddled up to it. “Mm...warm...mine...” Macintosh gave an amused smile and kissed my forehead.
“How did ah get mah self into this situation?” He thought to himself, “Meh, no matter Ah'm a very lucky stallion.”
The morning always came a little too quickly for my liking. “C'mon honey, time to wake up.” Macintosh said gently, “Mm, don't want to. Too comfy.” I mumbled tiredly.
“Passion! Solaire! Your families are here.” Luna announced, might as well get up then.
“Where's my son, is he okay?” Solaire's mother said worryingly, “Jeez Mom, I'm 24, I'm not a kid any more.” Solaire said simply as he walked down the stairs to the living room. “Where the hell have you been, Shane?” His younger brother, Andrew asked. “We'll get to that soon was his reply.”
A middle aged man looked at Luna, and asked “So where's our son then?” Luna sighed, “Getting ready as we speak.” Mom was getting anxious, “Mark will be down soon honey.”
No sooner she said that I came down out of the bedroom, and was met with silence, “Mom, Dad,” I greeted simply, “H-how?” Mom asked, “I thought you would return to how you were before?” Dad had a frown on his face, which turned into a scowl when he saw Macintosh come out of the same bedroom. Andrew's response said it all.
“What the fuck happened to you?” Solaire slapped him upside the head, “Language, Andy that's no way to talk to a lady.” Solaire scolded.
“Explain.” Dad seethed, which Luna did. After she finished Dad shook his head, “No I meant how come He.” Dad corrected pointing to Macintosh, “Is sharing a room with my s-...daughter ?” Luna was about to explain, but I caught Mom eyeing him up and down. I gave her a look to tell her not to bother. Mom had that gleam in her eye that basically meant she was up to something.
“Solaire would you mind explaining to your family how you ended up with us?” Luna asked, before turning to me and my mother glaring each other down. “This is going to give me a headache, I know it.”
I tried to come up with some made up excuse, so my parents would kill us both. Until Mom started flirting with Macintosh much to mine and Dads horror. Without thinking I latched on to his arm, looked her in the eyes and childishly said, “Mine!” Frost and Solaire were floored laughing, whilst my parents looked at me in shock. As soon as I realised what I did, I went crimson and suddenly found the floor very interesting.
Macintosh was completely speechless, and Dad being Dad was fuming. “You've been gone nearly a month and you come back as a woman and you have a boyfriend?” He stated simply, “Yes so what if I did?” I answered back, “Macintosh is kind, caring, very loyal and understanding.”
“Huh? Deja vu.” Solaire muttered, “Don't go there blondie.” I hissed, under my breath.
“Any how, how come you two kept this from us?” Frost asked, “I thought it was a one off between you two?” oh god dammit Frost...
“Given the fact we are talking about my private life here, I would rather not say anything in front of my parents.” I scolded at Frost. “And why not?” Dad asked, “Because I knew you would react like this.” I argued. “Now is not the time to discuss this.”
In the midst of the arguing, Solaire's mother told us something that silenced the room.
“You other friends have gone missing.”

“I am Misael! Come at me for the lives of your friends!!”
“I have one question before we begin, are you the one who did this to them?” Solaire asked, Misael folded his arms and shook his head, “No I do believe that Black Mist did this to them, but I have my orders.” Solaire took note of that detail, “Well then I do believe I'll go first.”
“DUEL!!”
Solaire (4000LP) versus Misael (4000LP)
Solaire turn...
“I draw. First I play the field spell Secret Village of the Spellcasters, neither of us can play a spell card unless we control a spellcaster type monster.” Solaire explained as the environment changed to match image on the card, Misael frowned knowing exactly what that meant. “Next I play Rapid Fire Magician (lv4/1600ATK) and activate Magical Blast which inflicts 200 LP damage for every spellcaster I control, on top that Rapid Fire Magicians effect activates adding an additional 400 LP damage.” Two bursts of energy shot towards Misael, swirling together as the effects merged and struck, Misael braced the impact and was knocked back a few feet by the force of the impact.

Misael let out a short string of curses under his breath, “Finally I set two cards face down and call it a turn.” Solaire said simply.

“I commend your efforts to stop me using Barian's Force, wasted as they are. Draw!” Misael stared at Solaire, but got no reaction out of him out of his comment. “I summon Lord of Dragons! (Lv4/1200 ATK), as it is a spellcaster I can play Flute of Summoning Dragon! Whilst Lord of Dragons is on the field I can activate this card to summon two dragon type monsters from my hand.”
His monster took a hold of the horn and blew into it, letting out deafening sound, “With this effect I summon Parsec, the Interstellar Dragon and Radius, the Half Moon Dragon!” Misael declared confidently, “Chain!! I activate my quick play spell Magical Dimension! This card lets me tribute a spellcaster I control and special summon another in it's place, as well as destroy one monster my opponent controls! I release Rapid Fire Magician and summon Gagaga Magician! (Lv4/1500 ATK)” Solaire interrupted, “As I chained this card to the activation of Flute of Summoning Dragon, my spell resolves first! I target Lord of Dragons!”
As Lord of Dragons blew it's horn it was destroyed by a loud magical explosion created by the shock wave of the spell that summoned Solaire's Gagaga Magician.
“Since Lord of Dragons no longer is on the field your spell is rendered useless by my field spell!” Solaire explained, Misael cursed again frustrated by the events occurring, “I will put this simply, Misael! I know who you are, I know what you capable of and I know how to stop it!”
“Tch! I set two cards and end my turn.” Misael stated annoyed.

Misael let out a small growl at Solaire, “How can he know of me? It's impossible!” he thought to himself, “HOW!!” Misael roared in frustration, “In this world...you're nothing more than a work fiction.” Solaire responded coldly, “You may not be the one who did this to my friends, but the fact you even dared to harm them is something you will soon regret!”
“Draw!!” Solaire roared, “I summon Gagaga Girl!! (Lv3/1000 ATK)” A blonde petite girl appeared next to Solaire's Gagaga Magician, “Next I activate Gagaga Magicians and Gagaga Girls effects! By declaring any level between 1 and 8 my magician becomes that level and his partner copies his level with her effect, I declare level 6! By releasing two level 6 or higher spellcasters I can summon my ace card!” Both magicians vanished in a black light becoming pitch black flames the fell to the ground and began engraving a circle of runes on the concrete floor.
“Knowledge that surpasses the blackest arts, invoke spells long since forgotten by time! Advance summon! Sorcerer of Dark Magic! (lv9/3200 ATK)” Solaire's Magician rose through the spell runes on the ground, and stared down Misael with a cold hard gaze.
“As of now anything you do is meaningless, my sorcerer's effect allows me to negate and destroy any trap card you play at my own pleasure.” Misael stepped back in fear as the magician staring him down. “I'm not done! I activate my continuous trap Call of the Haunted! This card lets me revive one monster in attack position, return Gagaga Magician! I'll follow this with Monster Reborn! Return Gagaga Girl!”
Both magicians returned in a blaze of light emerging from the ground, “Now I use my magicians effects one again! Level 8!” Solaire roared, “This next part should be familiar to you! This is what you face when you go up against a duellist of this world! I use both my Level 8 Gagaga Magician and Gagaga Girl to create an overlay nexus!”
Both magician transformed into two dark orbs of energy that converged on the opening nexus, exploding in a flash of light.
"Roar throughout the entire universe. Revive, from the source of all galaxies, that flows from far back in time!! Manifest yourself, and lead me to victory! Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon! (Rank 8/3000 ATK)."
A black pillar like object emerged from the nexus and began unfolding and unsealing taking on it's true shape. “N-no...no!...NO! HOW? I'm the only true master of Tachyon Dragon!” Misael cried in confusion and fear, as he watched helplessly as his own monster took on it's shape.
With an almighty roar that shook the very ground, the machine like dragon snarled as it stared down Misael with utter contempt. “I-I activate my trap cards...” He panicked, “Sorcerer of Dark Magic, negate and destroy them both!!” Solaire ordered, the sorcerer made a motion with his hand causing both Misael's traps to shatter into pieces.
“Sorcerer of Dark Magic! Direct Attack!” Solaire ordered, his magician spun his staff and struck the ground launching Misael into the air helplessly.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion for Misael as he heard one last cry from Solaire. “FINAL ATTACK!! GALAXY-EYES TACHYON DRAGON! END THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!!”
With another ground shaking roar, it launched itself at Misael. Charging it's breath attack as it sped towards him and firing a point blank blast engulfing Misael in super heated purple flames.
“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!” Misael screamed in unbearable agony, before falling and crashing into the floor.

“T-tch, as you won I'll release...y-you friends as promised...urgh...” Misael fell unconscious and faded away, leaving Solaire alone with Jason and Anth...
Solaire gave out a sigh of relief. “I'm glad you guy's are alright.”
With Luna...
“Thou art not leaving our presence unscathed!!” , “Prepare thyself for nightmares eternal!”
“Now let us see...” “We do believe we owe you this!”
“W-why?” He choked out through his pain and misery, “Does thou not remember us? Or what thou did to us?” “How about everything you did to our student, and how thou ruined her life!”
A look of realisation came upon him. “P-please d-don't k-kill me!” he begged pathetically.
“Kill thou?” “We aren't feeling that merciful. What we intend to do is make thou suffer horrors beyond imagining for the rest of thy insignificant and pathetic life!”
The thug was screaming louder than ever...until there was nothing but silence, with a dull thud the unconscious body fell on the ground...
“Sweet dreams...” Luna chuckled to herself, turning towards the two figures in front of here she began casting a spell to rouse them from their state of sleep.

Chapter 10: Home Sweet Home part 4: Friends Reunited.
I made my way through the empty buildings after I escaped from Black Mist's arena, running as fast as I can to find my friends. I was still angry from what Black Mist used Luna's illusion to make it seem I betrayed my friends.
Soon enough I came across a pulsing red crystal. “Is this responsible for the distortion?” I wondered aloud, if it was then it had to be destroyed. “I fear that you may be correct.” A voice said in a polite tone, foot steps echoed from the passage I came down. Soon enough a grey human like figure entered the room, “I'm sorry to startle you, miss.” He said, “But I take it you found what was causing the Barian world to force it's way into yours. I have no doubt this was Vectors doing.” He stated simply, “From what I understand your Durbe, right?” I asked, Durbe nodded in confirmation. “Are you involved in this?”
Durbe shook his head, “No, Vector has took it upon himself to do this, I sent Misael to keep an eye on him as Vector...” He drifted off, “Has a habit of manipulating others.” I finished and again Durbe nodded.
“On behalf of my associates I apologise, I have just heard from Misael what Vector and Black Mist did to your friends.” Durbe bowed, “What about this crystal?” I asked pointing behind me. Durbe frowned, “What you do to it doesn't concern me, but if you destroy it it will return the infected parts of the world to normal but I doubt you could destroy it on your own.”
Durbe was about to leave but stopped, “I must ask, have you seen a person named Nasch around here?” I shook my head, “No sorry I haven't...I hope you find him soon.” I said simply, and with that Durbe left.
“Shame about the company he keeps, Durbe strikes me as a decent guy.” I muttered to myself. Turning back to the crystal, “How am I going to deal with this?” I began making gestures...
“An unyielding passion blazes forward, emerge from the flames and be reborn! My very soul! Phoenix Gearfried!” I chanted and extended my hand forward.
A small flame shot out of my hand and fell towards the ground, in a pillar of intense flames, emerged a knight covered in red, white and gold armour with flames emitting from his sword and pauldrons.
With another gesture my own sword appeared in my hand. I noted it's appearance as a silver and blue estoc, “Great Magic Weapon!” I cried and my sword began emitting a strong blue flame like aura.
“Gearfried, attack and destroy the crystal!” I ordered and we both launched ourselves at it, striking simultaneously an creating a shock wave of magic and flames, knocking us both back with sheer force of the blow.
“Fuck!” I cursed, even with Gearfried we're not strong enough to break the damn thing.
“Need a hand, Passion?” Solaire asked as he entered with Jason and Anth in tow, “Solaire? Jason, and...Anth! Oh thank your all alright.” I cried in relief, Jason sent Solaire a confused look. “Solaire? Why is she calling you that Shane, and better yet how do you know us?” I almost forgot about that detail, “How come you weren't attacked by Mark?” Anth asked us both.
I remained silent for a moment, “The Mark that attacked you was an imposter...” I explained solemnly, “I destroyed him personally.” Jason looked shocked, “Then Mark is still missing, I thought you told us you found him Shane.” Solaire shook his head, “She's right there.”
“...” I said nothing to correct Solaire, “Look I'll explain later we need to destroy this crystal.” I stated simply. Solaire nodded, “C'mon.” Drawing his sword, it began emitting lightning, “Sunlight Blade!” He cried. I raised a brow and chuckled, “Dark Moon Blade!” I cried and my own sword began emitting a strong blue flame like aura.
“Are you going to help?” Solaire asked Jason and Anth.
“Show your supremacy, Master of Dragons Knight! Become fire incarnate, Sacred Phoenix of Nemphys!” They both cried as they summoned their own monsters to attack the crystal.
In blaze of fury the crystal began showing the strains of our attack, cracking after we launched blow after blow. “Dammit it's still not enough...” Solaire cursed.
“Daedalus! Black Rose Dragon! Attack the crystal!” A flower like dragon and leviathan joined in the assault, cracking the crystal further until it shattered into dust, exploding as it did so knocking us all back.
“Great Magic Shield!” I roared erecting a large magical barrier to protect us from the blast. The room around us began twist and turn, changing and distorting as it returned to its original form.
I fell to my knees exhausted from the strain of erecting a barrier that large. “Silent Passion are you okay?” I looked at the source of the voice, finding Luna, Jodie and Paul with her. “Oh thank goodness.” I sighed in relief, “Solaire help me up please.” Solaire lifted me up and helped me walk.
“Mark what happened to you?” Jason asked causing Jodie and Paul to look in my direction. “It's a long story, I think its better to explain when we get home. Luna could you come up with something please, I'm too exhausted to use any magic.” Luna nodded smiling and began making gestures, slamming her hand to the ground a spell circle shot out and surrounded the group and with a snap of her fingers we found ourselves back at the apartment.
“H-hey give us warning next time you all appear like that!” Frostlit Shard scolded playfully, Macintosh took a look at me, “Ah'll take care of Passion from here.” Solaire handed me over to Macintosh who picked me up bridal style, I blushed slightly of embarrassment.
“Okay can someone explain what's going on here?” Anth asked, Solaire led them to the living room and explained to them what was going on. Macintosh on the other hand took me to our room, “Are ya okay?” Macintosh worried, I nodded. “I'm just tired, I overdid a spell back there.” I explained reassuring him. “How's my family.” I asked, “They're stayin' in the rooms down the hall. Ah reckon y’all spooked 'em a bit with that dragon o'yers.” He chuckled.
I kissed him on the cheek, “Thank you for after them, now if you don't mind I need to rest.” Macintosh smiled and kissed my forehead. He soon left me to rest.
“So that's the reason of behind what we've experienced.” Jodie inquired, confirming what they were all told. “But what about Mark?”
Luna took a moment, “I'm sorry, but that's my doing. The Mark that attacked you was an illusion cast by myself to hide the fact she went missing. My guess that those people got hold of it and used it against you.” She explained.
“And what about that magic she was using?” Anth asked, “She shortly became my student, the spells you saw I taught her. In my own opinion she has very little magic compared to other people I know but makes up for it in her ability to control it.”
“I understand that our worlds are fusing together, but how are we going to help?” Paul asked curiously. Luna sighed, “As you all have been exposed to these events, you have to come with us as what we are doing is best kept between us. I'm sure you've seen the news regarding the disappearances.” They all nodded, wincing at the memory of what happened to those unfortunate ponies. “So you'll all be coming with us to return with the news to my sister.” Luna said simply.
“How's Mark?” Jodie asked, looking at Macintosh. “She's jus tired. Ah reckon that usin' that level of magic took a lot out of her.” Macintosh explained, “Can I see how she's doing?” Jodie asked worryingly, Macintosh shook his head. “Ah'm sorry miss, but it'll be best if she rests.” Macintosh yawned, “Ah reckon, ah'll get some shut eye mah self. Goodnight.”
Macintosh made his way up to his room, Jason, Paul and Anth looked shocked as he entered the same room I was sleeping in.
“Mind explaining why they are sharing a room?” Jason asked, “We haven't got much space in this apartment.” Luna lied, “Come, I'll show you where you'll be staying from now on.”
Morning came soon enough, and again I found myself cuddled up against Macintosh, who was sleeping as soundly as I was.
“Wake up!”
There was loud banging on the door, I growled a little, hugging Macintosh more tightly...
CRASH!!
The door was kicked open, with a loud kick. “Mark I told you to wake the fuck up!” Macintosh and I both shot up awake. I glared at our intruder, Jason who just looked at us both in complete bewilderment at the sight before him.
In front of him was myself and Macintosh in nothing but our respective nightwear, sharing a bed in quite an intimate position.
“What the fuck?” Jason choked.
Solaire was currently making a cup of coffee for himself and the others. Behind him Jason was running for his life as I was chasing him in nothing but a blue buttoned up nightshirt and matching panties threatening to tear his balls off magically.
Everyone watched in amusement as Jason was dragged back into the bedroom screaming, I muttered something about teaching him why it wasn't a good idea to invade couples privacy. A few moments later Jason walked out of our bedroom with a black eye given to him by Macintosh.
Solaire just chuckled at Jason's misfortune. “You alright?” He asked Jason, “Oh I'm fine, just fine.” Jason said quickly. “That isn't the first time that's happened.” Luna commented amused, “My dear nephew found that out the hard way.” She chuckled at the memory.
Soon afterwards Macintosh and I emerged from our room. Macintosh was a little more decent but I decided against getting dressed until I had my coffee, out of habit. Every one looked at us both, “What?” I asked confused.
“Erm...why are you so comfortable around him dress as you are?” Anth spoke up confused, given my usual habit of speaking with out thinking, “Why would I be uncomfortable? He's seen it all before anyway.” I said nonchalantly, the room was silent, “I've done it again haven't I” Macintosh nodded, “Eyup.”
“Oh god dammit!” I cursed. Soon enough both Solaire's and my family entered the room, Mom and Dad freaked out when they saw me as I was currently.
I finished my coffee and went to get dressed. Dad glared at Macintosh, “And just what did you do my son?” Macintosh glared back as he got up to follow me. “No harm in sleepin' with yer daughter now is there?” He said simply as he walked past Dad with a smirk.
“...”
“I suppose I should tell you Mark has taken to her new identity more quickly than I expected.” Luna stated simply, “Though the next week will be interesting for them both.” She chuckled. “Why?” Solaire asked, “One word...Heat.” She began laughing.
Solaire gave a raised brow, “Hasn't she been through that already?” Luna shook her head, “That was induced by that spiked food and drink remember. This time round she'll feel it twice as worse.” Solaire began laughing as hard as Luna. “So I take it she'll be unable to act of that next week?” Luna nodded.
“We'll all be heading back to Equestria to report to my sister tomorrow, just don't be surprised when we get there you lot.” Luna chuckled.

We all decided to spend the day to relax and prepare for the journey back to Equestria. Solaire was currently treating Jason's black eye, Jodie and Paul went out to track down Hunter the last person of our little group, Anth was chatting with Luna trying to get more info of what was going on. On the other hand however Mom and Dad pulled me aside for a 'private' chat.
“Mark we think you need to see a psychologist?” Mom said worryingly, “May I ask why?” I said harshly, “It's just that we're worried about your 'condition' I mean it's not natural.” I know I come from an old fashioned family, but were they really that old fashioned? “No Mom I won't see a psychologist, there this nothing wrong with me...at least not anymore.” I said calmly, “Does it really bother you that much?” Mom was silent, “For fucks sake boy your sleeping with another man!” Dad hissed in annoyance, “Is that all, have you ever considered that I'm not bothered by gender difference?” I hissed back, Mom and Dad looked shocked at my confession.
I got up, “Don't bother saying another word, your expression says it all. If your going to be that closed minded then bare this in mind. When I found one of the people responsible, he was using an illusion Luna cast to deceive and attack the people I care about. An illusion in the exact likeness of my previous self before Luna changed me, Do you want to know what I did to it?” I said calmly hiding the rising anger in my voice. Mom nodded worryingly, “I fucking cut it into so many pieces it was nothing more than dust.”
Mom and Dad looked even more shocked, “W-why would you do such a thing?” I shook my head and sighed, “Think about it Mom, what I saw was nothing more than everything I hated about myself.” I paused for a moment, “I can't go back to that Mom, you heard what Luna said about that spell and even I could I don't want to.” I tried to reason, “I love you both, but if such a petty thing as this bothers you so much then I'm sorry to say but I can live that fact...I'm old enough to know the world we live in isn't what you make it out to be...” I stormed off into my bedroom, Mom tried to follow but Luna stopped her, “You have to understand, she's been but into a situation she had no control over and all she's doing is trying to make the best of what she has to work with.” Luna explained gently, “I think it's best you come with us, my sister will be able to explain better.”
I was alone in my room for about half an hour, sobbing quietly. Good god when did I become so emotional, I guess it must come with my 'condition' as Mom put it. I don't understand women even though I am technically one now.
“Never try to understand women, Mark. Your better off getting to the know the person instead.” I muttered to myself. “Ah guess y'all could use some company?” I sat up, “I'm sorry you had to see me so worked up like this, Macintosh.” Macintosh sat down next to me, “Wanna talk about it?” He offered, seeing as might be better I got this off my chest.
“I'm from an old fashioned family, if anything I would say Mom was the more understanding of my parents, Dad on the other hand...” I drifted off, “Lemme guess he the overly macho type?” Macintosh inquired, “Not really if anything, he's just got a stick up his ass.” I joked, trying to brighten the mood.
“Ah can't say ah know how it is living with someone like that is, but ah reckon ah know what it's like to have family worry like that.” Macintosh explained, “They still care even though they do more harm than good.”
“I'm surprised how quiet it is outside.” I stated simply, normally even here you can hear the faint sound of chatter. “Luna and the others though it'd be better if y'all were alone for a bit. Speakin' of which has Luna told ya yet?” He asked, I shook my head. “Yer mother decided to tag along to git to know 'er eldest daughter.”
There was a brief moment of comfortable silence between us, “I have one question though?” I asked, “Hmm what is it?” I turned towards Macintosh, “I-I...umm...Oh how do I say it?” I cursed, Macintosh sat there with an amused expression. “W-what I'm trying to ask is...do remember what I said to Blueblood when he accused you of spiking the food?” I blushed. Macintosh picked me up and pinned my against the door, “Are yer sure?” He asked, I nodded awkwardly.
He began kissing me, did it really feel this good? I couldn't remember properly due that damned heat clouding my train of thoughts last time. He was slowly making his way down across my jaw line and down towards the nape of my neck, kissing and sucking as he did so...

Luna and the others finally got back after a few hours, returning with Hunter. “Your kiddin' right?” Hunter asked in disbelief, “Your tellin' me Marks a chick and she's with a guy?” before Hunter could continue his questions, Luna and Frost began laughing, “What's so funny?” He asked as he entered the room.
In front of them, Macintosh was sitting on the sofa in the living room with myself lying on the sofa using his lap as pillow fast asleep, Frost giggled and pointed at us, “That's them now.”
Hunter looked dumbfounded, “Holy shit you weren't kidding!” He exclaimed, “Ah'd much appreciate it if y'all kept it down a touch. Ah'd get up but ah'm little tired right now.” I stirred a little in my sleep mumbling something. “Mm...h-harder...I'm such...a naughty mare.”
“What just happened?” Hunter asked, Frost let out another giggle. “I'd say Passion found out why Macintosh is called 'Big' Macintosh back in Equestria.” Luna gave out sigh. “I'd really wish she wouldn't talk in her sleep.” Luna turned to the others, “As I've already said, “The spell used destroyed her original body, turning her into a pony for lack of a better term. As that's the natural state in Equestria another spell was cast to turn us human in this world.” Luna explained, “What is going to happen is the same to you all when you arrive in Equestria, as Solaire can tell you.”
“So what happened to Shane and Mark will happen to us?” Jason asked worried, “No, you'll be like me in appearance only.” Solaire added, “As far as I can tell the spell Luna cast on Mark changed how her body naturally was, so in away Mark is naturally going to experience anything a pony would experience in Equestria in a biological sense meaning...”
“She would experience heat every so often.” Jodie finished, “Exactly, so if were you I would leave her alone during that time.” Luna shuddered, “I think my sister gets it worse though.” Solaire in turned shuddered, “Y-yeah I know that first hand...” Everyone turned to Solaire surprise, “There's a reason some of the Royal guard refer to her as Molestia.” Anth gave a curious look, “Will Mark get that bad?” This comment earned him a slap upside the head from Jodie, “There is a reason she's called Silent Passion right?”
“Ah don't about that silent part, but she's got the passion part just about down.” Macintosh commented, “It's a meaningful name, Silent referring to her personality and Passion has more than one meaning.”
“Anyhow, I think it's best to use the remaining time we have to prepare and relax before our journey tomorrow.” Solaire suggested eager to change the subject. “I have an idea, it's a little spell that will tell us all what your naturally drawn to.” Luna added, “If you would all take a seat.”
Luna muttered a quick incantation and made a few gestures, causing the room to darken a little. Everyone looked around and noticed an aura coming from each of them.
Luna's was a pale blue but bright aura that shone like the moon with the occasional twinkle as it danced around her.
Frost's flickered like an icy blue flame, giving off a cold but gentle feeling.
Macintosh's was a strong brilliant green aura that radiated a healthy glow sheer power and strength.
Solaire's was similar to Luna's except it was golden giving of the feel of sunlight.
Jason's gave off a black mist like aura, that twisted around him protectively.
Paul's was fluid like water flowing around him lazily, an occasional bubble was seen every so often.
Anth gave off a intense flame like aura, brightening the room considerably with it's intensity and warmth.
Jodie's flowed and whistled around her like wind and air in a seemingly carefree manner.
Hunter gave off a dust like aura, floating harmlessly around him like sand blowing in the wind.
Every one turned to me as I was still asleep, I gave off a light blue aura that seemed be calm one moment and erratic the next giving the appearance of electricity with an occasional spark.
“Well that is interesting, I'll have to ask Twilight to look into this for me.” Luna commented, Solaire raised a brow. “Anything interesting Luna?” Luna shook her head, “It's to early to say. I suggest you all finish preparations we leave at midnight.”
A hour later Mom arrived to a completely different scene as everyone readying themselves for the Journey ahead. As she looked around room she saw Luna meditating in preparation for the spell, Solaire was polishing and cleaning his sword with focused expression, Jason and Hunter was discussing various theories of what they encountered trying to make sense of the situation.
Mom looked around but couldn't find the rest of our group, “Erm where is everyone else?” Solaire looked up at her, “Frost and Jodie have gone looking into some rumours about the missing people, Anth and Paul said something about getting supplies, and Macintosh and Mark have gone to have a private chat.” The last part caught her attention, “About what?” She asked, Solaire just shrugged, “Mark asked me to tell you, that she doesn't hold it against you for your argument this morning but don't expect her to be pleased to see you if you still have anything against her relationship with Macintosh.” Mom looked a little hurt, “I can't say I like it, but it's her decision at the end of the day.”
Mom passed the time chatting with the others in attempt to get to know them better, she silently wondered how much her son turned daughter had hid from her. It was getting close to 9pm and soon those of us that left returned. “Everyone ready?” Paul asked as he entered the living room, “More or less.” Jason added, “How'd the chat go, Mark?” Mom turned round, and saw me next to Macintosh. “It helped get me a lot more focused on what we need to do, Luna I think it's about time we told them what's going on.” Luna nodded in agreement, “What we have discovered that my world and this one are slowly becoming one, because of this people are disappearing and ponies have been appearing in their place.” She explained, “Furthermore we reason to believe that the ponies appearing are the people that vanished and as some of you release already what is fiction is this world is slowly becoming reality.” This earned a look of astonishment from everyone beside myself, Solaire, Frost and Macintosh.
“So what we saw the other day was a result of this?” Jodie asked, “Yes, however this is not the worst part. My sister and I have been trying to prevent any further damage by using Elements of Harmony but we could not stop it, we managed to prevent any further damaged and much to our dismay we soon found out that this world would suffer insane levels of damage. We decided that the best idea was to use the Elements of Harmony of this world, but the way humanity has developed must have caused the Elements to shatter so we've been gathering the shards to recreate them.” Luna finished the explanation and left the room in a state of silence.
“Think about it this way human fiction has created a lot of monsters, do you want them to be running all over the face of the earth destroying humanity?” I added with grim expression. “By using the Elements of this world, we'll be able to prevent that from happening as our worlds fuse.” Mom looked at me, seeing me serious wasn't something she wasn't used to. “You have to understand what we are up against here.” Solaire added, “We may end up doing things we wouldn't normally do under normal circumstances.”
Jodie and Anth shared a grim look, both knowing what that meant exactly. “I can't say I'm happy about what we'll end up doing, killing something goes against my morales.” I spoke up, “But if these attacks continue it's the end of everything we hold dear.”
Over the remaining hours I spoke with Mom, she asked me what happened to me over the last few weeks, and what happened between Macintosh and I. I left out the gory details, that would definitely freak her out again.
When the time came we all ran through the portal, unlike the first time thankfully we weren't attacked by Kalame'et. It felt like we ran for hours and soon enough exhausted we found ourselves in the throne room in Canterlot castle in pile on top of each other as we all lost balance.
“Is everyone alright?” Luna asked, we all untangled ourselves. “Yeah we're fine.” Jason winced as he got up, looked round and then screamed.
I have to admit I expected Mom to do that. What Jason and the others saw was a large bright open room with various earth ponies, unicorns and pegeasi. Everyone turned to each other in confusion and saw they were all ponies themselves.
Solaire and I remained looked the same during our last stay here, Macintosh and Frost looked relieved to be back to normal and Luna herself looked glad to be back home.
Anth apparently turned into a crimson red unicorn with wild fiery mane, and phoenix for a Cutie Mark. He looked unamused by this turn of events.
Jodie on the other hand, had changed into a white pegeasus with a red mane, her Cutie Mark was a single star with a spiral pattern coming from it.
Hunter was a little amused by Jason's reaction, He himself had turned into a brown earth pony with a black mane and tail. His Cutie Mark seemed to be a lions head with a crown above it.
Jason was horrified, as he was now a black pegeasus with a brown mane, a Cutie Mark shaped like a tribal dragon circling a ruby now adorned his flank.
Paul found himself, a ocean blue unicorn with a blonde mane. His Cutie Mark seemed to be some sort of sea serpent.
Mom was an earth pony, her colours matched mine but had paler tone due to age, her Cutie Mark was open book with a spatula and rolling pin forming a cross above it.
“Well I suppose that answers my question about which side of the family the unicorn part came from.” I dead-panned. A large white alicorn with a rainbow hued mane and tail approached us. “It is good to see you all again, and I see you have brought guests with you? For those who don't know, I am Princess Celestia I'm positive my little sister has told you about me.” Celestia said as she introduced herself.
Anth and Jason looked bright red with embarrassment, Jodie looked confused as Frost and I had annoyed expression. “Look I know we are all currently ponies but can you both please stop staring at our plots please.” They both looked confused, “Our asses you idiots, I'm pretty sure none of us want to look in that particular area.”
“I think it's best I show you to your rooms, while we decide what to do.” Celestia suggested in an attempt to change the subject.

Gathering Shards and the Countdown to Chaos part one: Strung along.
For awhile peace and tranquillity seemed to radiate between both worlds, ending the events caused by Black Mist seemed to stabilise both worlds for a while however they would soon find themselves deep in the insanity of the twisted number.
In an endless black void the monstrous number was reforming itself, thoughts of hatred and revenge spurred him to recovery. He couldn't help but wonder how she had destroyed him, aren't Numbers invulnerable to other monsters except another Number yet she destroyed him with a regular synchro monster? He stopped to think and plan his revenge against that cursed woman and her friends.
He smirked when realisation hit him, before laughing insanely.
After all the greed of others is such a wonderful thing...
Luna shivered slightly, she sense something was off like something malicious was watching them. It felt more sinister than the Nightmare and certainly it felt like an oncoming storm of utter chaos. She shook off the feeling and continued to watch her student explain to Celestia and the others about the monsters they could summon, Frostlit Shard and Big Macintosh seemed to take interest as did Twilight Sparkle who wanted know how such magic worked.
“I don't understand how a simple trading card game can be such a big fuss.” Mom asked confused, Solaire took a moment to explain.
“From what I understand what we fought back there was from an alternate earth, who knows what we could face in the near future.” Mom looked at Solaire with confusion, if she had been in any other situation she would have brushed it off as nonsense. “It seems that what we see as fiction is in fact another reality along side ours.”
“Oh that's so cool.” Frost bounced in excitement, “Do you think I could get to summon stuff like that?” I considered it, I couldn't see how she couldn't considering Solaire can summon with out the aid of magic.
“Sure I don't see why not. I'm sure the others could set you up with a deck.” I confirmed, “I should warn you all though if your monsters take damage you'll certainly feel it.” This caught Solaire's and Luna's attention.
Unaware they were being watched by a recently disgraced Prince Blueblood. He watched them all sneering at the utter humiliation he had to endure because of that farmyard hick's whorse, he stormed off back to his quarters to sulk in his misery.
“Well now it seems we have something in common boy. I could give you exactly what you want...” “You want to crush her don't you, to break her spirit and make her your own personal slave, don't you...I could make that happen...”
“Y-you could do that?” He asked in disbelief to what her was hearing.
“Why yes I assure you, your victory is certain with my help...” “All you have to do is let me into this world...”
“How?” Blueblood asked, the voice let out a low cackle.
“Let the Number take hold...!”
A scream could be heard from the main room of the castle foyer, before a sinister laugh could be heard. The sound of hoof steps seemed to get closer to the throne room.
“Something is very wrong...” Luna commented catching the others attention, as soon as she said it though a bright orb came slamming down and encasing them all of us besides Luna in red spheres.
“What's going on?!” I cried, I tried moving but I couldn't. The loud hoof steps seemed to get louder.
“It seems my trap didn't affect you my dear aunt Luna?” “No matter once I deal with you that whorse will be mine!”
In a flash of light both Luna and Blueblood were in human form, much to Luna's surprise.
“Why are you doing this Blueblood?!” Luna roared in anger.
“To get everything I want you useless wench!!” “Power, and more power! Everything in this world will belong to me...he promised me...” “If you want to stop me you'll have to best me in that game of theirs.”
“Please aunt! Stop me...I-I can't control myself!” Blueblood pleaded holding his head in agony.
“Silence you fool! This is my body, now be a good puppet!”
“Fine! If that is thou wishes it so be it!” Luna declared.
“Duel!/Duel!”

“Gimmick Puppets?” I wondered.
“Next I activate it's effect: By discarding 1 Gimmick Puppet monster from my hand I can either inflict 800 points of damage or have it become a level 8 monster. I'll have it become Level 8! Next I banish one Gimmick Puppet from the graveyard to summon Gimmick Puppet – Dreary Doll! (Lv8/0 ATK)”
“I'll use these two monsters to create an overlay nexus!” “Xyz summon! Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings!! (Rank 8/3000 ATK)”
“I set two cards face down and end my turn!”
Princess Luna turn...
“We draw! I play the spell card: Heavy Storm! This card destroys all spell and trap cards on the field.” Luna cried, as the two face down cards were blown away in a magical hurricane. Blueblood just frowned at the inconvenience. “We summon Constellar Pollux (Lv4/1700 ATK) to our field!” A white and gold knight wielding a twin bladed sword appeared and vanished in an instant. “We use Pollux's effect to gain additional normal summon this turn, we release him to advance summon Constellar Virgo (Lv5/2300 ATK) with her effect we special summon another Constellar monster to her aid! Come forth Constellar Zubeneschamali! (Lv5/2100 ATK)” Pollux vanished in a bright light and in his place was a female knight adorned in similar white and gold armor, along side Virgo another white and gold knight wielding claws appeared.
“Zubenschamali's effect lets us add 1 Constellar monster from our deck to our hand! Next we create an overlay nexus!” Both Virgo and Zubeneschamali transformed into orbs of bright light and entered the galaxy like nexus. “Gathering constellations converge upon the night sky, bestow upon us a knight of the zodiac, Xyz Summon! Constellar Pleiades! (Rank 5/2500 ATK)” Luna roared as her new knight appeared from the nexus. “We use his effect to detach an overlay unit and return that abomination back to the extra deck!” Pleiades used it's axe to absorb an overlay unit before blowing Gimmick Puppet of Strings back to the extra deck with an almighty swing.
“W-What!?”
“Next I activate my equip spell: Twin Swords of Flashing Light – Tryce! By sending the card we gained from Zubeneschamali's effect, Pleiades loses 500 ATK (2500 ATK → 2000 ATK) but he can attack twice this turn! Battle! Pleiades direct attack!” Pleiades slammed his axe into the ground and drew the twin swords in each hand, he sped towards Blueblood striking him once.
“ARGH!! Dammit you whorse!”
Possessed Blueblood 4000 LP → 2000 LP
“Release our nephew at once, abomination! PLEIADES BANISH THE SPIRIT POSSESSING HIM!” Luna roared as Pleiades made his final attack.
Possessed Blueblood 2000 LP → 0 LP
The possessed Blueblood was knocked back, injured but still standing.
“Tch...You pathetic wench don't think you can defeat me without another Numbers monster!”
“H-how I reduced your life points to zero!?” Luna exclaimed, there was no answer aside from chanting.
“Come forth! Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings! Number 88: Gimmick Puppet of Leo! Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Gear Grinder!!”
“God dammit!” I roared in frustration, all of us trying to get free, “For fucks sake we can't even help her!”
“Luna hold on! We'll help as soon as we can!” Solaire shouted.
“Mistress, what are your orders? We may not be able to aide you but we can help her royal highness.” I growled in frustration, the only person who could use a Numbers monster was Solaire. “Wait that's it!”
“What ya'll got planned Passion?” Macintosh asked, I didn't answer but began focusing my magic. If he wasn't going to play by the rules then why should we.
“I didn't think I would do this, I summon to Luna's field Gemini Soldier! Ryoko, Lightsworn Hunter and Morphing Jar!” All three monsters appeared before Luna and Pleiades. “OVERLAY!” All three transformed into orbs of light and flew into the overlay nexus. “Drain out and consume, the endless greed! Xyz summon! NUMBER 96: BLACK MIST!!!” A oil like blob emerged from the nexus and shot out it's arms and legs taking on it's monstrous form.
“H-how!?”
“A little while ago, I destroyed Black Mist who was using that illusion. There are two ways a person can gain a number, you either extract it forcefully or you destroy it with another Number.” I explained, “Since Black Mist was bound to the illusion I destroyed, I gained the Number for myself purifying it of it's Black Mist's influence in the process.” Number 96 prepared it's self to attack, “Number 96! SHADOW GAIN!!” It's tendrils shot out as it consumed it's overlay units, whipping and cutting the 3 opposing Numbers as it drained their strength.
The three numbers tried their hardest to cut away and destroy the tendrils, but it was all for naught.
“T-This can be happening...!”
“Number 96! Destroy them!” I commanded, 96 roared in confirmation as it impaled Gimmick Puppet of Leo before tearing it in half with it's claws, it soon turned it's attention to Gimmick Puppet of Strings with an hungry look in it's empty flaming eyes. 96 advanced in a eerily serene way as if savouring the moment, before tearing the puppet limb from limb. The last remaining Number cowered in fear of 96, immobilized by 96's tendrils it soon met the same fate as it's head was crushed beneath 96's oil like heel. Every one looked on in fear as 96 roared in triumph of it's brutal kills.
“MORE...GIVE ME MORE!!!”
“Luna! Now send 96 back I can't control it!” I shouted.
“Pleiades! Return Number 96 and seal it!” Luna ordered, Pleiades used it's final overlay unit to banish the rampaging Number back to it's card form.
“As you wish...my mistress...” “Just remember my power has it's price, you'll do well to remember that...”
“Silent Passion! We forbid you from using that power again, it may have saved us but it was too much for you to control!” Luna scolded, as the spheres broke freeing us.
“Ah don't know about y’all, but that was the most horrific thing, Ah've seen in mah life.” Macintosh stated, the others agreeing with him. Sighing I agreed along side them.
“I'm sorry but it was the only thing I could think of in a hurry.” I stated, Solaire just shook his head.
“As much I hate to admit it. Silent Passion summoning Number 96 was for the best, even if I summoned Number 107 it wouldn't be enough against three Numbers.” Solaire explained.
“I think it would be best if we were all brought up to speed regarding these Numbers.” Luna stated picking up the three Numbers cards that assaulted them, “But first I think Blueblood has some explaining to do.”

We were still racking our brain's with how to deal with the recent situation. Luna was still giving me a disapproving look over the use of Number 96, Macintosh and Frost weren't sure what to make of the situation.
“How come that there Number didn't possess y'all like it did Blueblood over there?” Macintosh asked, before I could answer Solaire beat me to the answer.
“It can't, Silent Passion took the card from it's original owner.” The others looked confused, “While it is the same Black Mist that attacked us, it lacks it's malice and is more or less a shadow of it's original form.”
“So what, were going to get attacked by Numbers now?” Jodie asked worryingly, Solaire nodded his head.
“Most likely, we aren't defenceless though.” Solaire concluded, “So far we have 6 Numbers and 2 Chaos Numbers between us.”
“What!?” Luna asked in shock while the others looked on in confusion, “Chaos Numbers?” Solaire took a deep breath before continuing.
“Well humans are chaotic in nature, we create order through chaos. The same principle can be applied to Numbers, as for what we have in our possession I have my own Number 107, Passion here has Number 96 and Number C96, Jason has two copies of Number 39 and Number C39, and you Luna have the three Numbers that were possessing Blueblood: Numbers 15, 40 and 88.” I looked on in disapproval.
“How can I beat a Number if I can't use 96?” I asked, “I can't even control it properly, never mind it's Chaos form.” Solaire just clicked his fingers.
“Jason, give Passion a copy of Number 39 and Number C39.” Jason just nodded and tossed over the cards in my direction. “This Number is better suited for Passion in my own opinion.” Solaire commented.
“Is there any other way to defeat a Number.” Frost asked a little nervous, Solaire didn't know how to answer.
“Negate it's effect, then banish it or destroy it. It's either that or killing the opposing duellist.” I explained, grimacing at that last part. “I don't want to let it get that far though.”
Blueblood was coming around, standing up upon his hooves. While Macintosh, Frost and I had a lot of dislike for the prince we all felt a little pity for what happened to him.
“Oh...by my aunt, my head.” He groaned, “What happened...?”
“Do you remember anything?” Luna asked, Blueblood just shook his head no. “We figured as much.” Luna sighed in frustration. “Guards! can you please take my nephew to the castle infirmary.”
The guards left with the injured Blueblood, Luna left with them to make sure her nephew would be okay. Solaire just got up and walked towards the exit.
“Solaire where are you going?” Anth asked, Solaire stopped before answering not bothering to face us.
“To report to Princess Celestia, I would suggest you bring your best for the battles ahead even if you have to resort to desperate measures.” Solaire advised, “Anth, Hunter, could you both sort a deck out for Frost.” Solaire left, leaving us all besides my mother wincing at what he was implying.
“I don't understand why your all wincing like that?” Mom asked, I didn't answer, but the reason was simple...not one of us liked the idea of using those cards, even Jason was put off at the idea considering his deck was built specifically to use them.
“Mom when you packed did you bring a small black leather case with you.” I asked her.
“I did but what does that have to do with anything.” Mom asked, Macintosh looked curious.
“Follow me to my room and you'll find out.” I said leaving the others to go about their own business, Mom and Macintosh followed.
I locked the bedroom door behind us, so that we were alone.
“What's going on Passion?” Macintosh asked, as was rummaging through my things.
“The exact same thing the others are doing by now.” I answered, “Along time ago, each of us came upon an upgraded form of our signature cards but we decided to limit their use until we had no other choice to, much like what's happening now. I on the other hand cannot use my upgraded card and I entrusted it to Solaire, so I had to find another way of getting stronger.” I explained as I pulled out a small black leather case. “What's in this case is my answer, so far I have been using my warriors to deal with major threats but I haven't been able to use them to their fullest potential. Inside this box is the answer to that problem, as I now have all the cards I need in my possession. Let me show you.”
I undid the small lock on the case and pulled out the cards inside. Both Mom and Macintosh both looked surprised when we all heard a voice from them.
“I see it is time once again and I see you have changed.” A male voice asked in an amused tone. “Are you going to cast us aside once again for being to powerful?”
“No I'm not, as of now you are all in my service full time.” I responded.
“...?” The voice gave a sound of surprise, “I see it has gotten to that point has it...very well we are at your beck and call as always.” My deck appeared in front of me and glowed revealing my new cards in place of my old ones.
“Just one more final adjustment to make...” I muttered to myself, “Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell! Release the card I sealed away!” In front of me another card appeared.
“This spell is a forbidden power mistress, are you sure that's wise given your current Number?” The voice warned referring to 96.
“It's last resort nothing more.” I reassured.
“What was that Passion?” Macintosh asked completely confused, I kissed him on the cheek and reassured him and Mom.
“What you saw there was my more powerful Gemini and Xyz Monsters.” I explained, “If I'm going up against Numbers then I'm going to have to use what some people refer to as 'Number Killers'”
“Number Killers?” Mom inquired.
“Simply put, an alternative in case my Number's aren't enough.” I explained, “Don't worry I have no intention of using Number 96 again.” I reassured them both.
“Ah can't say Ah like where this is all goin', but Ah respect yer decision and Ah'm with y'all every step of the way Passion.” Mac reassured me.
“Mom, I'm sorry you had to get caught up in all this.” I apologized, “I imagine this isn't what you had in mind but spending time getting to know your daughter.”
“It's okay Marcia, it can't be helped.” Mom comforted me, “I still love you regardless of who you are.”
In the depths of an endless void, a being of malice watched onwards at the event playing out a sneer upon his reforming features as he planned his next move.
“Tch, I should have sent one of the more powerful numbers than those useless toys. Now the question is who should I send next, I may not know where I am now but this new found power of mine is indeed proving useful. That fool Astral has no idea that I'm using his reacquired Numbers for my own ends.”
Turning towards a large shadow, his visible eye glowed forcing the shadow to submit to his every whim.
“As you wish my master...”
Two days had passed after the Number's incident with Blueblood, who was still recovering from the possession and having no recollection of the event. The others were still preparing and alert to any further attacks, Solaire had yet to make a reappearance over the past two days.
Mom was currently getting a tour of the castle and being brought up to speed on life in Equestria upon the insistence of Princess Twilight, who was asking Mom as many questions regarding human life.
Macintosh and I decided to take a day to ease the tension that seemed to be developing in his family lately.
“I don't understand Macintosh, what's been happening?” I asked, Macintosh sighed.
“Ah dunno, AJ's been tryin' to keep the family organised an' without me she seems to be struggling keepin' up with the harvest.” Macintosh explained,
“I can see how that can be problem, it must be hard work tending to an entire farm.” I replied, Macintosh just laughed.
“It ain't that bad, nothin's more satisfyin' than a hard days work.” Macintosh said proudly.
“Hmm I was wondering where you got that stamina from...” I flirted, before giving him a kiss upon his cheek, “I may not have much stamina, but I try my hardest.” Macintosh blushed a little, or at least I think he was it's hard to tell with all that red plush fur.
“So what do y'all intend to do job wise?” Macintosh asked, I thought for a moment before answering.
“Rarity said I could help at the boutique to earn some bits if I wanted to, I'm sure I can help out around Canterlot and Ponyville with various odd jobs as well.” I explained, Macintosh nodded considering the possibilities.
Soon enough we arrived at the Apple Acres, I was amazed at the sheer size of the place. I recognised some of the species of apples as we passed them, but the majority I wasn't familiar with.
“It must be so beautiful here during Autumn!” I said in amazement, I could picture all the golds, reds and browns as they floated gently from the trees.
“Eyup, it is a pleasant sight to behold, Ah suppose that's natures way of thankin' us for lookin' after so many of her trees.” Macintosh commented.
Eventually I was introduced to the rest of the family, I never realised he came from such a large family to be honest and I felt a little out of place being the only unicorn there. His grandmother, Granny Smith reminded me of my own grandmother a bit, right down to the teasing.
“Eee...Ah see mah youngin' has caught the attention of another young mare.” She said with a hearty chuckle, “He's been the apple of the eye of every young mare in Ponyville.” I couldn't help but noticed that Macintosh hadn't said anything about us being a couple, which I could understand given his large family and the fact we had only been together a month at the most.
“Well now Big Macintosh where’d yer disappear to, Ah missed yer big strong flank around here?” A friend of the family, Harvest Moon asked him in a flirty manner. Macintosh seemed to be uncomfortable around her, I could see why.
“...” Macintosh said nothing as she walked by him swaying the hips as she did so which he paid no attention to, as she passed by me she gave me quick unamused look up and down before walking on. If I still had my hands I assure I would be flipping her the bird.
“Don't mind that crab apple Passion, she's been tryin' to get Macintosh to rut her senseless for ever since she laid eyes on him.” AJ explained, I had an unamused expression upon my face and muttered something under my breath.
“What was that darlin'?” AJ asked, “Ah couldn't her yer mumblin'.”
“She does realise he's taken, doesn't she?” I said with a slight blush.
“Nah, I reckon no pony here besides me knows about you two.” AJ explained cheerfully.
The rest of the afternoon passed by in merriment, Macintosh seemed to be the centre of attention from most of the mare's who worked here and I soon found out Harvest tried every trick in the book to flirt with Macintosh.
“I don't mean to interrupt anything here but I don't think Macintosh likes the attention your giving him.” I explained to Harvest, she just laughed at me and said.
“Why any stallion would be proud to have a mare such as myself, what could some cheap two bit flank like yourself offer him? I mean what kind of Cutie Mark is that anyway?” Harvest mocked, unsurprisingly I felt a rising urge to knock her into next week. “Right Macintosh?”
“Ah dunno she has rather beautiful flank to me.” Macintosh flirted, “Not to mention she's very beautiful eyes.” I went bright crimson, while Harvest just had a look of disgust upon her face.
“I-I...ooh! You no good hussy!” Harvest shrieked, I swear this must be what a dog whistle sounds like to a dog.
“Well excuse me! If he finds me attractive I don't recall him needing your permission to!” I responded hotly, “He isn't some piece of meat you can use and abuse you know!”
SMACK!!
“YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING WHORSE! HE.IS.MINE!!!” Harvest shrieked as she smacked me across the face with her fore hoof.
“You! Me! Outside now!!” I hissed, “If your going to act like a bitch, I'm sure as hell going to smack you like one!” She just sneered at me.
“Take your best shot!” She taunted, before I sent her flying through the doorway out into the farmyard via telekinesis. She landed on the ground in a creating huge cloud of dirt and dust, as I walked out of the door towards her a huge aura of black miasma flared up from the cloud dispersing it.
“YOU WHORSE!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!”
“Passion watch out!” Macintosh shouted as he pushed me out of the way of the incoming sphere. I watched as the sphere engulfed him, binding him with some sort of flame around his heart.
“Tch, your boy toy won't live long if you don't agree to surrender your Numbers to my master!” “Surrender Number 96 and 39 at once!”
“Dammit!” I cursed, AJ and Applebloom saw what happened to there brother. If I surrender the Numbers I have there's no way to be certain that she'll release him. “I guess I have no choice then...if you want them come and get them!”
“What a poor choice of words...”
“What in tar-nation?” AJ mouthed.
“Just you let you know whorse, if you lose your boy toy dies!” “Any last words for him?”
“It'll be fine Macintosh, I won't let this bitch kill you!” I said before turning to the possessed Harvest. “I have only two words for you bitch! RELEASE RESTRAINT!!”

“I draw, I set a monster face down along with two set cards!” I declared, “It's your move!” Three cards appeared in front of me as I ended my turn.
Possessed Harvest Moon turn.
“Draw! I start by playing Goblindbergh! (Lv4/1400 ATK)” “Next I use it's effect to special summon one Level four or lower monster by switching it to defense position! I summon Goblin Attack Force! (Lv4/2300 ATK)” “Battle! Attack Force crush her set monster!”
“Featherizer effect! I can send one Gemini monster from my deck to the graveyard and draw one card whenever Featherizer is destroyed by battle!” I explained, annoyed Harvest continued.
“Tch..since my monster switches to defense position when it attacks, I'll play Dark World Dealings, followed by Monster Reborn to special summon Goblin Black Ops! (Lv4/1300 ATK)” “Finally I'll use all three to create an overlay nexus!”
“Here it comes...”I thought bitterly, as the her monsters turned in orbs of golden energy and entered the nexus resulting in an explosion of energy.
“XYZ SUMMON! NUMBER 69: HERALDRY CREST! (Rank 4/2600 ATK)” “I set a card, and play the spell card: Restructor Revolution! This card inflicts 200 points of damage for every card in your hand! I end my turn!”
As she played her spell I bolt of lightning shot out of it, hitting me and causing me to scream in pain from the damage I received.
Silent Passion 4000 LP → 3200 LP
Macintosh just looked at the creature in front of him with disgust as he winced in pain from the damage I took, it was amazing he stayed so calm about all this while his sisters just looked on in worry.
Silent Passion turn.
“Don't worry honey, I'll get you out of this I swear! Draw! From my hand I summon Gemini Scorpion! (Lv4/1700 ATK) When this card is summoned I can special summon one Level four or lower Gemini Monster from my hand! But before my monster effect resolves I activate my set card Copy Knight! (Lv4/0 ATK)” Both monsters appeared one twin armoured warriors one male and the other female, standing side by side another ghost like version of themselves. “When Copy Knight is played it creates a copy of warrior type monster I normal summoned and gains it's name and level! With Gemini Scorpion's effect I summon Evocator Chevalier! (Lv4/1900 ATK) At this present time Evocator is treated as a normal monster so I activate the equip spell: Supervise, with this card Evocator gains it's effect!” Another red and white clad warrior wielding a sword in one hand and flames in the other burst onto the field.
“Three monsters in one turn!”
“Next I activate Evocator's effect! By destroying one equip spell I control I can destroy one card on the field! So I'll start with you set card!” I declared, watching as her set card: Just Deserts was destroyed by Evocator's flames,
“I chain Just Deserts! You take 500 LP damage for every monster you control!”
Silent Passion 3200 LP → 1700 LP
“Supervise effect!” I huffed, “Whenever Supervise is sent to the graveyard I can special summon one Gemini monster from my graveyard to my field!”
“Then with Featherizer!?”
“An unyielding passion blazes forward, emerge from the flames and be reborn! My very soul! Phoenix Gearfried! (Lv8/2800 ATK)” I chanted, as a very familiar red, gold and white armoured knight appeared in a torrent of flames.
“That heap of junk won't be enough to defeat me! You need a Number monster remember!”
“Then let's fix that shall we? I overlay my 2 Level four Gemini Scorpions to create an overlay nexus! XYZ SUMMON! NUMBER 39: UTOPIA! (Rank 4/2500 ATK)” As the two monsters exploded in the nexus Utopia burst out from it's sealed form, revealing a white and gold clad winged knight with a blade on each hip. “Here's a quick lesson for you and your master bitch! No and I mean NO ONE harms the people I care for goes unpunished!” A brilliant blue lightning like aura enveloped me as I made my threat. “I swore on my life I would protect the people I care for!” Utopia began glowing in response to my desire and returned to it's sealed form.
“What's going on with your Number!”
“I'm going to undue the chaos that Number 69 has inflicted upon you and return harmony once again! The Emperor of Hope, who unifies the chaos, with a flash of light wash away the despair! CHAOS XYZ CHANGE!! NUMBER C39: UTOPIA RAY!! (Rank 4/2500 ATK)” Utopia revealed it's new form from it's sealed state. “From my hand I equip Utopia Ray with a monster...”
“HOW?!” “THAT SHOULDN'T BE POSSIBLE!”
“ZW – UNICORN SPEAR!” Utopia threw the sword at Unicorn spear combining it with it's own weapon becoming a large white and gold spear. “I'm from a different world than yours 69, so I don't need the power of Zexal or Astral to do this with a card I already have. When equipped with Unicorn spear, Utopia Ray gains 1900 ATK (2500 ATK → 4400 ATK) and negates the effect of the monster it battles during the battle phase. UTOPIA RAY DESTROY NUMBER 69!!” Utopia rammed the spear into Number 69, impaling it to the ground and twisting the spear to inflict the deathblow upon the Numbers physical form causing it to crack and shatter like broken glass.
Harvest Moon/69 4000 LP → 2200LP.
“GEARFRIED! FINAL ATTACK!! KNIGHT BLAZER!!” I ordered, as Gearfried charged towards Harvest as she recovered from the previous attack.
“Not so fast you bitch! When I control no cards and attacked directly I can special summon from my hand: Gorz, the Emissary of Darkness!”
“I activate my counter trap: Champion's Vigilance! If I control a level seven or higher normal monster I can negate the activation of a spell or trap card or the special summoning of a monster and destroy it!” I declared, Harvest looked on in confusion. “Phoenix Gearfried is a Gemini monster, at the moment he is treated as normal monster because I haven't Gemini summoned him.”
Gearfried just tore through Gorz, bisecting him as he continued his direct attack upon Harvest. As he brought his sword down upon her she screamed as he tore the Number's influence upon her to pieces.
Harvest/69 2200 LP → 0 LP.
The Number shot out of her and became a harmless card. The sphere faded as we returned to our normal pony forms, I ran up to Macintosh and kissed him passionately much to his embarrassment in front of his sisters.
“Oh...where am I?” Harvest groaned, she showed signs similar to Blueblood when Luna freed him. Looking at both of us in confusion, AJ just led her away inside to recover.
“Y'all okay there Passion?” Macintosh asked, I nodded.
“I'm just glad your safe, honey.” I replied in relief, “I think we should let the others know what happened.”

Chapter 8: Home Sweet Home part 2: Illusion of the Black Mist.
Solaire and I gasped, “They're all missing?!” Luna placed a hand on my shoulder to reassure me, “How did this happen?” Luna asked worryingly, “They were trying to hold back some sort weird distortion spawning out monsters.” Luna looked thoughtful, “It's sounds similar to the distorted space that has been appearing back in Equestria.” Solaire took note, “It's the same way I found my way in Equestria your highness, the monsters that are spawning out are ones Silent Passion and I are already familiar with.” Solaire explained, “Yes I remember my sister telling me and to prepare accordingly.”
Luna took a moment, “It would be best if your families remained here for now. Frostlit Shard, Macintosh would you mind keeping them safe.” Frost and Macintosh nodded, “What about the rest of you?” Mom asked, “We'll be going to stop this once and for all.” Luna stated simply, Luna made motion to follow.
We all followed Luna to the roof. “Silent Passion, Solaire are you ready?” She asked, Solaire nodded as he unsheathed his sword and we watched in amazement as it changed shape into as mechanical bracer with wing like attachment. “A duel disk?” I said in surprise, “Yeah unlike you two I can't use magic so this'll do the same thing you'll both be doing.” He explained. I grinned oh I'm going to enjoy this bit.
“Normally there are rules to this, but as this is outside the game. I can do this!” Solaire smirked as he placed a white card on his duel disks wing, “Clustering shards shine forth the endless sky, take flight and light the way forward, Stardust Dragon!!” As soon as Solaire finished the incantation a pillar of blinding light illuminated the sky, revealing a white shimmering dragon which proceeded to leap on. “I'll see you there!” He cried as he took off.
“Unlike Solaire and Silent Passion. I can't simply summon a dragon, but...” Luna trailed off as she made a gesture with her hands, “I call forth Constellar Leonis and Sheratan, and use them both to create an overlay nexus! ” Both monsters appeared and transformed into orbs of various shades of golden energy and converged onto the opening overlay network, “Xyz Summon! Constellar Hyades!” From the network a giant emerged donning white and gold armor, it was wielding two identical blades. Luna leapt upon Hyades' shoulder and made the motion to follow Solaire.
All of us besides myself looked on in shock, like Solaire I had a dragon I could ride on but... the incantation for it was a bit evil sounding, ah well. I began making the same gestures as Luna, the sky began to darken with storm clouds. “Darkening skies hide the sun's rays from sight, at the eye tranquil fury smites all! Emerge from the lightning! Dark Storm Dragon!!” In flash of lightning a pitch black serpent like dragon descended out of the storm clouds. I leapt forward upon Dark Storm and followed after Luna and Solaire.
I could of sworn I heard that inner voice laughing.
I caught up with Luna and Solaire soon enough. Luna raised a delicate brow when she saw my dragon, but said nothing. “It's best we set down here unless we get seen and attacked.” Solaire suggested. We all agreed and landed, as soon as we dismounted our monsters faded in small bits of light.
We found ourselves inside a dark miasma which was emitting roars, groans and various sounds of...fighting? “I suggest we be careful we lose here it's game over.” Solaire warned.
As soon as he finished speaking we were all separated by wall of crimson energy Luna and I gave a shriek of surprise whilst Solaire gave a low growl of annoyance.
“Kyeheheheh! Looks like we have more fun ahead of us! You think they'll but up a better fight than the others?” An insane voice asked. “I wonder what they're capable of? They'll might make good pawns.” Another deeper sounding voice answered. “The two women might be worth keeping...I always wanted a harem.” the final sneering voice said. Luna and I got the shivers at what that voice was implying.
“So our dear uninvited guests, I assume you all wandered here looking for those fools who tried fighting us and failed.” Solaire and I just growled at who they were implying. “Here are the rules of our little game, if you can find and beat us you'll rescue your friends however if you fail your lives and those you care for belong to us!” The sneering voice threatened.
“Will you two be okay?” Luna asked, “We'll be fine.” We said simply, as we headed off in different directions
With Luna...
Luna found herself walking down a path leading into a dark forest with trees twisting in unnatural shapes. “It feels like I've been walking for hours.” Luna muttered to herself, every time she would make some progress the forest seemed to cut her off.
The place gave an her uneasy feeling, like she was being watched by something malicious and deceitful. “This feeling is familiar somehow...”
In the distance Luna saw two figures unconscious in the distance, Luna ran towards them and examined them both, one was a short curvy woman with red hair dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans, the other was a older large framed male wearing a causal short sleeved shirt and trousers.
“Ooo. Dos this mean ah git more fun, do ah?” Luna shivered when she heard the familiar voice, “You!!” She hissed angrily, a familiar figure stepped out from the shadows, “Oh? 'ave we met luv?” the thug wonder, “Che, nee matta, boss says ah can 'ave all the pussy ah want providin' ah beat ya in a game o'course?” With that he revealed a bracer with a wing like extension.
“Da bosses magic or whateva he does is really da shit if ya follow meh.” He chuckled darkly.
“Thou art not leaving thy presence unscathed!! ” Luna roared with rage.
With Solaire...
As Solaire continued down a bright narrow path, he found himself in what appeared to be large ruin of a school. “Must be the Grange.” Solaire thought to himself, “And I'm being watched.”
Solaire searched the ruins of the school, room by room but alas found nothing. “Where is everyone?” Solaire soon heard a dark foreboding chuckle, “Who's there?” Solaire shouted.
A long haired slender gold skinned figure, wearing what appeared to be a mask and some sort of robe like cape around his legs. Emerged from thin air as he walked towards Solaire in a prideful fashion.
“I take it you are one of the three humans who are seeking their friends.” He asked, “Yes I am.” Solaire answered, with a snap of his figures two more figures appeared. “Jay! Anth!”
“I am Misael! Come at me for the lives of your friends!! ” He challenged.
With Silent Passion...
I soon found myself in some sort of throne room, various weapons and torture devices decorated the room and the surrounding platforms covering in bloodstains that have long since dried. Upon the throne I found a cloaked figure standing by the throne.
“Ah, it isn't often I get guests, then again...I do hope you turn out more entertaining than my last ones...HAHAHAHAHAH!” A voice laughed mockingly, soon a black mist like figure appeared slouching lazily on the throne. “I am Number 96: Black Mist.” he laughed.
“And what brings you to my world?” I asked, “Me? I'm here to drain all this pathetic worlds life out of it and add it to my own power. So I can finally rid myself of that damned Astral and his brat!”
“And the others?” I continued, “They can have what's left once I'm done!” Black Mist sneered, then began laughing insanely looking at me with a slasher smile.
“I'll think I'll start by draining that life out of you!! KYAHAHAHAHAH!!! ” Tendrils shot out of Black Mist and wrapped themselves around the limbs of the cloaked figure and began controlling it's body.
I leapt back preparing for his assault...”DUEL ” We both cried.
Silent Passion (4000LP) versus Black Mist (4000LP).
Black Mist turn...
“I'll start by setting one monster in defense, and end my turn!” He declared causing a pitch black mist to form his monster hiding it from view.
Silent Passion turn...
I knew who he was, and what he could do. So I decided to make this quick...”Draw! I set two cards and summon Disciple of the Forbidden Spell (Lv4/1700ATK) and equip it with Fighting spirit! For every monster you control it increases Disciple's ATK by 300! Attack!!” I roared, as my swordsman cut through his own monster.
“Giant Germ effect! When ever it is destroyed by battle I inflict 500 LP damage to my opponent and special summon two more in attack position!” Black Mist sneered, good god it felt like I was being choked by the spores that monster gave off.
As the monster was cut it split into two via mitosis. “I end...”

Black Mist turn...
“Heheheh! Did you like my little present?” Black Mist giggled, “Draw! I activate Monster Reborn! This card lets me bring back a monster from the graveyard...and now....” He gave that slasher smile again, “I'll use all three to create an overlay nexus, XYZ SUMMON!!” the three germs converted into orbs of dark energy and converged on the nexus. “Drain out and consume, the endless greed Number 96: Black Mist! (Rank 2/100 ATK)”
A oil like blob emerged from the nexus quickly unfurling and extending it's claws and legs, it stared me down menacingly and hungrily. “Heheheheh! How about I show you my new power? I activate Rank Up Magic – Barian's Force!!” He boasted.
“I activate my counter trap, Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell! I can discard one spell card to negate and destroy one spell card my opponent activates. On top of that that card or any copy of it cannot be used again for the remainder of the duel!” I smirked, that last thing I need is that damned Chaos Number.
Black Mist was fuming with rage, “YOU OVERCONFIENT BITCH!! I'LL DRAIN YOU DRY!! BLACK MIST ATTACK DISCIPLE!!” He roared in fury, “I ACTIVATE BLACK MISTS EFFECT, BY USING ONE OVERLAY UNIT I CAN DRAIN HALF OF YOUR MONSTERS ATK!!” In his rage Black Mist consumed a orb of black energy, “SHADOW GAIN!!!” His monster shot out tendrils that was draining my Disciple's strength (2000ATK => 1000ATK) and adding it to it's own causing Black Mist to increase in size (100 ATK => 1100 ATK) “BLACK MIST ATTACK!” he roared.
“I activate the effect of Fighting Spirit! I can send this card to the graveyard to prevent my monster from being destroyed by battle once this turn!” As Black Mist struck Disciple it felt like I was being cut by a set of claws, grunting through the pain, “I activate Defense Draw! I reduce any battle damage I would take to 0 and draw a card.”
Black Mist just growled, “I set two cards and end my turn.”

Silent Passion turn...
“My turn draw!” I cried, Black Mist just laughed, “Would you like to know what happened to your friends?” He snapped his fingers, and the cloaked figure he was controlling unveiled himself...It was me? Was it that illusion Luna cast? “I came across this body a while ago, it was giving off some interesting energy so I decided to take it for myself and soon enough your little friends showed up. I used this body to crush them all! Ah the look of betrayal on their faces it was wonderful! KYAHAHAHAHAAH!”
“H-how dare you!!” I hissed, he would use my image just to harm my friends. “I activate Final Attack Orders and Battle Mania! All monsters are switched to face up attack position and all you monsters must attack this turn.” Black Mist laughed mockingly.
“I activate Hidden Armoury! By sending the top card of my deck to the graveyard I can add one equip spell to my hand, however I can't normal summon this turn.” I stated simply, “Next I activate Foolish Burial! I select one monster from my deck and send it to the graveyard.”
“And what do you hope to achieve by that meaningless move?” Black Mist asked. “Your demise.” I responded coldly, “I activate Monster Reborn! I special summon from the graveyard, Counsellor Lily!” In a flash of light a red haired angel dressed like a doctor appeared. “I tune my Level 3 Counsellor Lily with my level 4 Disciple of the Forbidden Spell!” In a burst of light Lily exploded into 3 rings that surrounded Disciple, enveloping him in a pillar of light.
“Clustering bonds reforge iron into the mightiest steel, become the blade that protects all I hold dear! Synchro summon! Enter the battlefield, Seven Swords Warrior (Lv7/2300 ATK) !!” From the pillar of light emerged a golden armoured warrior wielding various kinds of swords.
“I activate Assault Armor! Whenever Seven Swords Warrior is equipped with an equip card it burns my opponent for 800 LP damage!” Seven Swords Warrior unsheathed one of it blades and swung it at Black Mist in a blaze of fiery wrath, causing him to scream in pain as the flames burnt him and my fake.
Black Mist (4000LP => 3200LP)
“Next I activate Assault Armour's effect, by sending this card to the graveyard monster can attack twice this turn!” Black Mist sneered through his pain, “And my monster will rob it of it's strength each time!” I shook my head, “Seven Swords Warriors effect resolves! Whenever an equip card that is equipped to this card is sent to the graveyard by a card effect, Seven Swords Warrior destroys a monster on the field my opponent controls!” I said simply.
Black Mist watched in rage as his own monster was destroyed as it was cut in two and exploded. “N-no...NO!!!” He shrieked in anger, “SEVEN SWORDS WARRIOR DIRECT ATTACK!!” My monster launched at Black Mist, it screamed as all seven blades came down upon him and cut him to ribbons.
Black Mist (3200LP => 900LP)
“You used me to get to my friends for nothing more than your sick amusement!” I said calmly and coldly with an emotionless tone, “IT ENDS NOW!! SEVEN SWORDS WARRIOR FINAL ATTACK, SEVENTH STAR OF VICTORIES!! LILY'S EFFECT RESOLVES I PAY 500 LP TO INCREASE MY MONSTERS ATK BY 1000!!” (Seven Swords Warrior 2300 ATK =. 3300 ATK)
Silent Passion (3500LP => 3000LP)
Every single blade came down to finish Black Mist and that fake off, cutting and slashing them both into nothing but dust. A bodiless voice soon echoed through out the room.
“YOU BITCH, I'LL GET YOU BACK FOR THIS!” The voice belonging to Black Mist shouted in fury as it faded into nothing but an echo.
A moment passed and there was nothing but silence.
“Give my regards to Astral for me, you bastard!”
