Part 3: Come Back To Me

I awoke... Alarm blazing in my right ear....

Wait a second... An alarm? Since when did Fluttershy install an alarm to go off in the morning? I don't think Fluttershy had any special plans in the morning, besides feeding her animals and hanging out with her friends, she didn't tell me that at all last night; she just told me how she can trust me to be with her, that I won't hurt her at all and she told me the three words that I thought I would never hear.

I love you.

It was amazing last night... At the same time I was scared and in a state of no belief. I didn't know it was gonna come to what happened last night. It felt wrong and right at the same time. I did a fictional character that I loved dearly. Bad. I fell in love with a pegasus that I got to know and realized she was just like me... Afraid of getting our hearts torn to pieces.

She had told me the story of the mare that almost killed her that one night and I literally cried. NO PONY OR PERSON SHOULD GO THROUGH SUCH A HORRIBLE EVENT! I mean, how sick he was to do such a thing to a wonderful pony, what a bastard he was. I told her about the horrid ex that I had back then. She didn't cry, but simply told me, "She wasn't worth it then. If she wanted to keep a strong and handsome pegasus, she should've just let go of you when you two broke apart."

She understood everything that I told her and I did the same. I felt a strange connection towards her and BOOM! There it was. Love. So it's bad and good at the same time, but I am starting to realize that this isn't a bad thing. It was a simple relationship that I felt good to be in.

The alarm was still going off in my ear, blaring with all of it's might right into my sensitive ear. I reached over and turned it off without looking and continued to cuddle with Fluttershy... But I felt nothing...

I tried again... Still nothing...

Oh no!

I opened my eyes and saw that I was in my room! WHAT HAPPENED!?

I saw that I was human again, a simple fleshy with all of my fleshy parts all over again. Was it a dream? It couldn't have been.... It had to be real.... I KNOW IT HAD TO BE! I looked at the date, it was the final day of school. The last half of the day. I looked all over my room and saw a piece of notebook paper, it looked like the same paper that Trixie gave me. I got up immediately and picked up the note....

Blank....

It was blank....

Nothing but just blue lines with that red margin....

I began to feel my throat clog up as I felt tears coming into my eyes. I sat down on my bed and cried. It was just a dream... It felt so real though, it had to be real. I just knew it had to be. I cannot believe this. I was happy for one second, then I came back here. It was gone. My happiness and joy was all gone. I was now sitting on my bedside crying my eyes out like a baby. Yes, I called myself a baby. I felt like I was crying over a dream, but the problem is that it felt so real, like I was actually there with every pony I knew.

They were gone... She was gone... My life out there is gone...

I heard a knocking on my bedroom door.

"You okay Josh?" Sam said behind the door.

I got off my bed and headed towards my door. I opened it. Sam looked at my red and wet eyes as the door revealed my room.

"Josh? What happened? Did you have a bad dream?" Sam asked.

I swallowed real hard, "I had a good dream. It felt so real Sam, I could feel everything. It's just what I woke up to was horrifying." I said with a down and crying voice.

Sam looked at me funny, "All dreams are like that. When we have a good dream, we wake up noticing we're back  in the real world and accept the fact that none of it was real." he said.

I guess he was right... It might've been just a dream. I guess none of it was real, never was it supposed to be real. I went to my closet and got my clothes together to get ready for the final day of school. I didn't even eat breakfast, which is rare for me to do and headed out the door to the truck. I picked up Kevin, dropped off Sam, got to the high school where we once again, waited for Jane.

Kevin noticed something different about me looked like he was gonna say something to me. In which, he did.

"Josh?" He started, "Are you okay?"

I turned over in my seat away from him to hide the tears I had in my eyes. Yes I was still crying about this, why would I accept that it wasn't real. I WAS BACK IN THIS DAMN, JUDGEMENTAL, IDIOTIC, GOVERNMENT CONTROLLING, WORLD! I swear the magic felt real also, it's not like I passed out one day, got a spell from a hallucination, and all of the sudden I'm falling out of the sky towards Ponyville. That shit never "just" happens, it had to be real and I was gonna find out one way or another.

I still hadn't replied back to Kevin, who was still waiting for an answer. "Yeah," I lied, "I'm fine, just had a rough dream is all."

Kevin tapped me on the shoulder, "Look at me and say that."

Damn, I hated it when he did that.

I turned over and revealed my red eyes and watery river of tears. Kevin was now in shock. "Dude," He started, "Why are you crying? It was just a dream."

I nearly had this rage come out of me to slap him and call him all sorts of names, but instead I replied back, "It wasn't just a dream, it was real." Tears were now coming in more and more as I talked.

Kevin then saw it in my eyes, "It's a girl you saw isn't it?" How good is this kid? Maybe I should give him a medal in being a gypsy, or better yet, being a great friend. I found it in my heart to say it, "Yes." I replied.

"Who was it?" He asked.

"It's... really complicated." I said back.

"No, I wanna know who it is." He said demanding an answer.

I can't tell him because if I do, he will get weirded out and start telling everyone that I was in love with a fictional character from a different dimension. I can't let that happen, never! I had to at the same time; I really hate lying to people, it makes me feel very bad inside. I just had to...

So I did...

"Fluttershy..." I said quietly. Here it comes...

Kevin looked at me for a moment... Strangely, he wasn't like having a spaz attack or gasping for air from his new information, or laughing. He was simply just looking at me...

"Oh...." he began, "You mean that pony you keep talking about? The one that is your favorite?" he asked.

"Yes." I said.

"No man. It's okay. I don't mind that you had a dream about her, just as long as nothing else happened between you and your favorite in your dream." He said as he laughed.

Whoa... Good thing he didn't freak out. I was gonna freak out if he did and start running home. "Oh no," I lied again, "Nothing like that happened."

"Good." He said.

Soon enough, Jane came up and they kissed and what not before we took off towards the last half day of the school year. I had a bit of trouble in class, not the finals, just class... And you can already guess it.... Yep. I was crying every single hour of the day over the events that happened.

Yeah I know what your thinking if you were in my class, "Why is he crying? It must be a girl. It must be this. It must be that." Or you could be saying, "WHAT. A. BABY." I couldn't help but to cry, it just felt so real and I couldn't let go of that feeling.

The final hour of the day was here. I took my final and rested my head. I didn't even care if I did good or bad on it, all I cared about was the events. I missed every pony. I missed Ponyville. I missed the mane six.

I missed Fluttershy.

Why was it that I was back here? It didn't make any sense to me. Were humans not allowed in the the land of Equestria? Fluttershy is probably awake at her cottage right now wondering where in the name of Celestia I was and probably saying what a jerk I am for leaving her. Now I won't have a chance with her because I was sent back here for no apparent reason. I basically look like an ass for spending the night with her and sharing everything, then leaving in the middle of the night like I was just there to get what I wanted and leave without saying a word. I felt like the biggest a-hole that ever existed.

Welcome back to the world of being single again, Josh, you stupid sex luster. I started to cry again, my sobs were heard throughout the entire classroom and everyone gave me a look of concern, in which I did't care that they looked at me. All I cared about was Fluttershy and the rest of Equestria.

The day was finally over. No more school until August. I started towards my truck, got in, called Kevin to get his butt to the truck immediately, and drove Kevin home. I held back the tears until me and Sam got home, then I just let out an entire ocean as soon as I went into my room and threw myself on my bed. I felt horrible. I can't fight back the fact that now I was going to be public 100% a-hole number one in Equestria.

I heard some knocking at my closet door again... Is history repeating itself or something? Ugh....

Slowly I grabbed my pipe, got off my bed, and headed towards the closet door. I counted to three...

One...

Two...

Three...

I sprang open the door to find... Oh no... This time it wasn't Trixie...

It was a girl in my closet... Wait... A girl in my closet? Since when do girls pop up in my closet? No matter, I had to ask her who she was and where she came from.

"Excuse me." I said towards her, "Who are you and how did you get into my closet? Or more importantly, how did you get in my house?" I asked. The girl looked up at me and her eyes beamed as she smiled. Was this a bad dream? I can smell one from a mile away.

"James..." She said with a smile.

Huh? James? I wasn't James.... Wait... Is it? It couldn't be...

"Fl.." I started, "Fluttershy?" She immediately jumped up and hugged me. "Oh!" She yelled, "I knew you wouldn't forget me!"

Oh. Sweet. Celestia. It was Fluttershy! OH MY GOD! IT WAS HER!!! HOLY SHIT!!! I hugged her back. It was her. I couldn't believe it! She looked amazing as a human. She had her pink hair, she was wearing a vanilla colored shirt that had her cutie mark on it, and she was wearing a skirt that matched her shirt.

Wait... Is this a dream? How did she get here? So many questions... So little time...

"Ummm... Fluttershy?" I asked. She popped her head up from my shoulder, "Yes?" She responded.

"How did you get here?" I asked.

Fluttershy

I awoke with the sound of singing birds. I looked over at my clock and saw it was 9:00 am. Oh my what a night. I couldn't believe what I did, but it just hit me all of the sudden when we were at my front door and I saw his wonderful eyes as they looked into mine. I stroked his mane, he stroked mine, and I felt the sudden urge to let it out.

I reached over to give James a kiss, but I missed. I tried again, missed. Wait... I opened my eyes and saw that James wasn't there. Why wasn't he not there? Did he just seriously leave me after what we shared last night? What a jerk! I couldn't believe he just did that! My heart was now shattered into a million pieces, unable to be fixed at this point.

I began to cry and laid my head on my bed. It was almost impossible for him just to leave like that, he said he would never leave me and never hurt me... Well, he hurt me pretty bad and now I was severely pissed at him. Oh excuse me, I don't mean to say such a thing, but he deserves to be called the public 100% a-hole number one of Equestria. Oh, what am I saying? I don't mean to say these things...

My pillow was now filled with all of the tears I had pushed out of my red eyes. I looked over my shoulder and saw Angel, he looks like he's been there the whole time watching me cry an entire ocean. He hopped towards me and hugged my hoof, trying to give me a sense of comfort and security. I appreciate Angel's help, he helps me with everything, but he mostly just gives me orders on what he wants to eat. Oh what a silly bunny he was and such a good friend.

I should've never trusted him. I gave him everything I had and he just blew it off. I can never trust another pony in this world with my heart ever again... It's just too much of a hassle to be with some pony anyway, there's just too much drama and I hate drama. Drama is the one thing in this world that just kills every pony.

I heard some knocking at my door. I perked up and saw a mysterious figure out the window, which made me yelp and fly into the air. Angel was hanging on tight as I was floating above my bed frightened. I calmly landed back on my bed, dropped Angel on the bed and kissed him on the head, and started towards the door. The mysterious figure was wearing what seems to be unfashionable, which is something Rarity would say. The figure was wearing a brown coat and a hat that matched the coat.

I opened the door very slowly...

"Hello, can I help you?" I asked.

The figure just looked at me and held up a hoof to my face, "Don't speak at this moment." The figure said, "I am here to help you with your problem."

"What problem?" I asked.

"There was a pegasus here by the name of James, he was recently evicted from Equestria and needed to talk to you about it." The figure said.

I was surprise that the figure knew about James, but what does the figure know about him being evicted? "James? I don't even care about a selfish jerk like him." I said.

"Listen," the figure started, "Maybe you didn't hear Trixie correctly. I said he was evicted from Equestria, he didn't just leave, he was banished."

"Trixie?" I said in confusion, "You mean to tell me that... Wait... How do you know he was evicted? Why was he?"

Trixie stepped into my cottage without warning. "I've been spying on Princess Celestia for some time now and I heard her and Luna talk about a pegasus named James. Luna told Celestia that she went into James' dream and saw that he wasn't just a pegasus, but a human. Just by telling by his dreams, I don't know how she ever came to that solution."

"Wait, one question." I began, "Why have you been spying on the Princess?" I asked.

"Well..." She trailed off while blushing, "I kind of have a..." I stopped her there.

"No need to continue Trixie, if you don't mind." I said.

Trixie cleared her throat, "Oh my what the great Princess Luna must be thinking of me, but that's not the point right now. Listen, your love is a human that came here to explore Equestria and was banished because of Luna's actions and I can help you find him."

He didn't leave me on purpose? That's good news! The bad news is, how am I going to get to the human realm? Oh even more bad news, if James was banished from coming here ever again, then if I were to leave and go to his realm, would I be searched for and found there, to only be taken back to Equestria and banned from ever going back? "Umm, Trixie." I started, "How do I simply get to the human realm?"

Trixie smiled, "It's not that hard my dear Fluttershy, even Twilight would know the answer to such a spell to go to the human realm. I shall perform the spell on you, but you have to do a little something for me." She said.

"What?" I asked.

"You have to imagine yourself as a human." She said.

A human? What would I look like? I don't even think that if I were to turn human he would recognize me. What if I imagine myself as a human that resembled my pony self? That would work. Alright, time to give it a try.

"Okay Trixie," I said, "I'm ready."

Trixie began her magic and looked at me, "Remember something." She said as I was being sucked into a portal behind me, "Knock at the door when you get there and most importantly, don't you ever mention about what I said about Celestia!"

I giggled, "Aye aye Trixie!" I yelled.

I was being warped now, going through this amazing tunnel that lead to what seems to be a dark room. I saw that my whole body was being formed into a human body. This was amazing how Trixie was helping me, but why? I would never know why she is doing such a thing.

I landed on a floor made of blue carpet. I looked all around me and saw clothes and a door right in front of me. I heard some sobbing behind the door and it sounded a lot like James. I understood his tears, he was missing every pony in Ponyville and he missed me. I began to realize that I needed to complete my objective. I reached for the door slowly and knocked on it.

I heard someone approaching the door. I heard a silent count to three and the door sprang open as I saw a tall human above me with an object in hand about to hit me. I crawled up into a ball awaiting a beating, but he didn't swing.

"Excuse me." he said, "Who are you and how did you get into my closet? Or more importantly, how did you get in my house?" he asked. I smiled as I saw his face, he looked more handsome in human form.

"James..." I said softly with a smile.

"Fl..." He began, "Fluttershy?" he asked.

I immediately jumped up and hugged him. Oh he remembered me! Oh this was the best day, oh yes! "Oh!" I yelled, "I knew that you wouldn't forget me!" He hugged me back.

I couldn't believe it, I was back in his arms... My love. A forbidden love. He repaired the broken heart that I have had for years and he gave me life.

"Ummm... Fluttershy?" he asked. I popped my head up from his shoulder, "Yes?" I responded.

"How did you get here?" He asked.

Josh & Fluttershy

Fluttershy and Josh sat down on the bed as she began her story of how she had come to the human realm. Josh was amazed at the fact that Fluttershy was there in the human realm and was slightly creeped out that Trixie knew all about their love. If he didn't know any better, Trixie was trying to be a love doctor. What a stalker she is...

"So, I was banished from Equestria?" Josh asked in shock.

"Yes." Fluttershy responded, "Princess Luna went into your dream and saw that your dreams weren't of Equestria, but of the human world. I am shocked that Trixie knew all about it."

"What a stalker she is," Josh began, "But I'm glad she knew about us and how to bring you here to the human realm."

"Yeah," Fluttershy said, "I do too. I thought you left me after what we shared last night, I couldn't help but to cry and feel hatred towards you, if that hurts you I'm sorry. I understand if you hate me for saying that." Fluttershy looked down and began to cry again, tears running down her face. Josh realized she was crying and held her hand.

"Fluttershy..." he began. Fluttershy looked up and saw tears in Josh's eyes, "I don't hate you for saying what you said, I totally understand what you're talking about. I would've hated myself for leaving you on purpose and I wouldn't have forgiven myself. A girl took advantage of me once before; it took a lot of thought for me to realize that she was doing it, she only wanted me for what lies beneath my clothes even though she said she loved me and loved me for me. I'm glad you're he...."

Fluttershy had planted her lips on Josh's to silence him. "You talk too much." she said with a smile and began kissing him again. The two lovers began kissing and fell onto the bed that they were sitting on. Josh and Fluttershy kept their cool as they made out on the bed. The two lovers had finally made it to where they could finally live with each other without interruption of their love.

Josh looked up at Fluttershy as they stopped for a break.

"Fluttershy." Josh said.

"Yes?" She responded.

"I love you too." he said with a smile.

END OF STORY

OR SO YOU THOUGHT...

Princess Celestia

"TRIXIE!" I yelled. "COME FORTH IMMEDIATELY!"

I looked ahead of me and saw her come from a corner. She had a brown trench coat on that didn't even go with her lifestyle. I know that she has been spying on me for some time now and knew what I knew, so that means I know what she had done recently. I motioned my guards towards Trixie to capture her and bring her right in front of me. I didn't like it when ponies spy on me, but at the same time I liked it. I did love getting noticed, but that was another story.

I had known about her doing this spying thing because a royal guard, without taking notice towards her, came to me and said that Trixie was spying on me and wondered what I wanted them to do. I simply said this...

"Let her spy on me."

The guards flew over towards Trixie and grabbed her without her fighting. The guards were now coming back to me with the guilty pony that will tell me everything that she had done. Why did she send a human to our realm? Where did she get this spell? Where was Fluttershy? And why was she spying on me? Trixie was now in front of me.

Trixie looked up at me and begged, "Oh Princess Celestia!" she cried, "Don't punish 'The Great and Powerful Trixie'! I beg of you!"

"I want to know why you are sending humans to our realm." I demanded.

Trixie didn't respond to me, she could only look at me with her red cheeks.

"Well?" I asked, waiting for an answer.

"You see..." she started, "I just wanted to experiment on the new spell I learned and try it out, I didn't mean to bring harm to you Princess." She looked down.

"Look up at me Trixie." I commanded. She did.

"Where did you get such a spell?" I asked.

"From the royal library here." She responded.

"Why are you spying on me? Are you trying to impose a threat on me? Trying to figure out my weaknesses?" I asked.

"No no your highness." She said, "I was only spying on you, so I could learn what it was like to sit down on the royal throne."

I could sense her lying, "You are lying Trixie. Why are you spying on me?" I asked.

She began to cry, "Okay! I'll tell you!" she cried. She looked up at me with her red cheeks, like she was blushing, and answered the question, "It's because I think you are the most beautiful alicorn of all of Equestria! I swear!"

I could tell she was telling the truth. I kind of liked the fact that she's been watching my every move and had a crush on me, but one question remained. "One last question." I said.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"Where's Fluttershy?" I asked.

"I don't know" She said very quickly.

"You're lying to me Trixie."

"No I am not."

"Yes you are! TELL ME NOW!" I demanded.

Trixie cried even harder now, "OKAY! SHE'S IN THE HUMAN REALM WITH JAMES!"

She's.... WHAT!? IN THE HUMAN REALM!? THIS WAS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! How dare Trixie do such a thing! Go behind my back and break the rules! I had to get Fluttershy back here immediately.

Trixie was still sobbing below me, so to cheer her up I kissed her on the cheek. "Thank you for your time Trixie, you may go free, but if I catch you spying on me again, I will punish you." Trixie stood up, wiped the tears, and walked away. I motioned the guards to get me some paper and a quill. One of them came up to me and handed the equipment.

I began to write towards Twilight,

"My Dearest Twilight,

Fluttershy is in danger. I need you and your friends to come with me to the human realm and save her. I do not know how long she has been there, but we need to get her out of there before the humans tear her apart. I know that going to the human realm is risky, but we need to risk everything to get your friend back Twilight.

Please meet me here in the palace and we shall save Fluttershy.

Your Sincerely,

Princess Celestia."

I now waited for Twilight and her friends to arrive.

30 minutes later.

Twilight and her friends came through the door as fast as they could, panting almost like they ran for miles. Twilight was the first one to step up to me.

"It's good to see you Princess." She said.

"It's always a pleasure to meet my most faithful student." I said to her.

"Oh man!" Pinkie yelled, "I cannot wait to give that human a piece of my mind once I start the party! I wonder if they like parties? I don't know. I don't know any humans at all! Oh this is just so exciting!"

Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie Pie with a annoyed face, "Pinkie," she started, "This is a human we're talking about! We don't know how dangerous these creatures are!"

Apple Jack looked over the whole situation, "Y'all need to stop yer fussin' over there." she said, "We seem to have a situation on our hooves."

Rarity was in disgust, "Oh the horrible fashions they will have I bet. Such fowl creatures don't have the proper clothing." she said.

I held up my hoof to calm down the five arguing ponies, they all stopped and looked at me, waiting for me to say something.

"Listen, this will be one of our toughest challenges. We have to rescue your friend Fluttershy from the clutches of a human named James. He was recently banished from Equestria and probably captured Fluttershy, making her do unmentionable things." I said.

The five ponies looked at me in shock. "James? Like James Rocker?" Twilight asked.

I nodded.

All of the ponies were now shocked and angry at the same time. They started getting ready for me to transport them to the human realm. I was ready anytime these ponies were ready to go. The dangers of Fluttershy being in the human realm are simply extravagant. She doesn't belong there, she needs to be here to spread kindness, and she one the important Elements of Harmony, Kindness. If she is not here during an attack, the Elements of Harmony cannot be used and evil will spread across Equestria. She will get hurt by the humans, they don't understand such a thing about Fluttershy.

Twilight looked over at her friends, they were ready. Twilight looked up to me, "We are ready Princess." she said to me.

"Good." I said, "Stand close to me and I shall take us to the human realm, but I must warn you, don't make contact with other humans other than James, they are extremely dangerous and they will hurt you."

All of the ponies agreed and stepped forth. We all gathered around as I began to concentrate. I looked over to my guard before we disappeared, "Get my sister Luna to watch over while I'm gone." I said to him and we disappeared into a tunnel leading towards the human realm, Earth. I knew very well of this place, I have gone there before when I was just a filly. Scared out of my mind I was, I couldn't believe the terror that humans bring to others. Why not help each other out like a colony of bees? Like us? I will never understand their logic, but I will understand why they hurt other people, they are evil.

We arrived at a house and saw that only one vehicle was parked by the house. Someone had to be here. I walked forth to the door and knocked on it. I awaited for someone to answer the door and surely enough I saw someone at the front door. He opened it and was shocked to see me. He slammed the door and ran back downstairs. Twilight opened the door and we proceeded down the stairs where we heard yelling.

"She's here!" I heard one of them yell.

"What? That's impossible!" the other yelled. Fluttershy was definitely here and I wasn't apparently welcome. I walked forth to a door where the yelling took place behind. I looked over at Apple Jack and motioned her to buck the door open. She tipped her hat and started towards the door, but before she bucked, a human opened his door right next to the door we were trying to open. He stared at us, like he was in shock to see all of us here.

"Princess Celestia?" the human said in shock.

I casted a spell on him to sleep, he fell to the floor. I lifted him and set him down on the bed in his room. Apple Jack then started towards the door and lifted her hind legs. BAM! BAM! BAM! She stepped back to take a break for just a second and with one more buck, she opened the door to reveal two humans sitting on the bed, frightened. I walked into the room with the other five ponies and closed the door behind us.

"Give us back Fluttershy James." I commanded.

An Unexpected Surprise

Princess Celestia and the five ponies were now face to face with Josh and Fluttershy. Josh stood up and took a stance like he was going to fight.

"Listen to me," Josh began, "I don't want to fight you guys, you're such good friends and I don't want to hurt you at all. Please, I want to come back with you guys to Equestria."

Twilight looked at Josh, "You can never come back. You entered our realm and now you have our friend captive. We don't trust you at all James."

Fluttershy stood up and got in front of Josh, "I am not going back without him." she said.

"Yes you are Fluttershy." Princess Celestia demanded.

"Fluttershy," Twilight began, "You cannot stay here and he cannot come back. It is a rule in Equestria. No humans are allowed in our realm, it's just not right for them to be there. They could ruin everything Fluttershy, they could cause mass destruction to our world, or worse, tell everybody on Earth about his discoveries."

Josh was now in shock, "You guys know I wouldn't do that though. I may be only human and I'm not perfect, but there's one thing I know, I would never take your secrets and post them everywhere on Earth, nor would I hurt you guys. I wasn't even a human in Equestria, I was a pegasus. I was one of you." he said.

Pinkie Pie looked over at Princess Celestia, "You know he has a point, he wasn't a human at all Princess." She said, "He was a simple pegasus living among us."

"It's unacceptable still," Princess Celestia began, "there's no reason he should've kidnapped Fluttershy and turned her into a human to fool us all." She turned over to Fluttershy, "You will come back with us."

"No I won't." She said.

"Hold the phone..." Josh said in confusion, "You mean to tell me that when you banished me, you thought before I was gone, I kidnapped Fluttershy?"

Princess Celestia turned pale.

"She showed up in my closet Princess. I don't have a way to come back to Equestria anyway and plus I don't know how to turn ponies into humans. You don't have valid evidence, you're just pointing hooves at people and making up excuses to get Fluttershy to believe you. You only fooled yourself here Celestia." Josh said.

Celestia was now angry, "We're going to take Fluttershy one way or another James." she said while getting in a fighting position, "She is coming home today."

The ponies got into position to fight. Josh got in front of Fluttershy again and resumed his stance. The Final Stand was here and now.

"Look," Josh began, "we don't have to fight."

Fluttershy formed her wings behind her back and had a plan it looked like.

Rainbow Dash was the first to strike, but before she could get to Josh, Fluttershy got right in front of her and pushed her back. Rainbow Dash hit the wall. "What the heck Fluttershy!?" she yelled.

"I am not going back I said!" Fluttershy yelled. She then got some air, grabbed Josh and broke through his bedroom window. She flew Josh into the air and went into the backyard of his house.

Josh and Fluttershy were now in shock that Princess Celestia was going to fight to get Fluttershy back.

"I'm not going to stand for this." Josh said, "If they want to get to me so bad, then let them have it. I will not hold back on this. I came a long way to find that we share common interests Fluttershy and I'm not accepting an invitation to your farewell party. I love you so much that I would fight for you."

Fluttershy looked up at Josh, "Don't fight them, please! They're my friends and I don't want you guys to fight! I wont let you do this." Josh looked at Fluttershy and gave her a long kiss.

"I'll try my best not to hurt them." he said.

Just then, a burst of light appeared behind them. Princess Celestia and the rest of the ponies were again face to face with Josh and Fluttershy. The group stood very silent as they prepared themselves to fight. "Again." Josh added, "I don't want to fight you guys over something ridiculous."

Princess Celestia rose her hoof, "ENOUGH!" She yelled. She grabbed Josh with her magic and put him in the air. She brought him closer to his face, "She is coming back with us whether you like it or not James." she said in a determined voice, "I can make this fight really easy for you." She lifted Josh in the air about to throw him. Before she could even throw, Twilight looked up at Princess Celestia and spoke to her.

"Is violence the answer here Princess?" She asked, "I am starting to realize that you aren't telling us something. What's really going on?"

Princess Celestia looked and realized she was setting a bad example. "Violence isn't the answer here..." She began, "Twilight, you are absolutely..." All of the sudden she transformed into a unicorn, one very familar to Fluttershy. "WRONG!" the unicorn added as he threw Josh into the deck.

"BLADE!" Every pony yelled.

Blade looked at Josh as he hit the deck, "Had enough you girlfriend stealer? Had your fun?"

Josh then got up very slowly with few cuts and bruises, "Blade..." he said, "I knew something was fishy about all of this. I knew that Princess Celestia wouldn't just come here to fight me to get Fluttershy back. She's a peace talker and simply requests things to be done."

Blade began to clap his hooves, "Well done Sherlock Hooves, you finally figured it out." he said with a smile, "You are really smart aren't you?"

"Now ladies," he began, "You should know that humans are actually allowed in Equestria, just as long as they are in pony form. I thought the great Twilight knew all about the rules. I am even surprised myself that you would come this far and believe I was Princess Celestia. Trixie was such a good help on telling me where you were."

Fluttershy started running towards Josh, but was stopped by Blade with his magic, grabbing her before she could even get close to him. Rainbow Dash bucked Blade in the back and sent him flying. Fluttershy was dropped onto the ground and she began running back towards Josh. Blade got up with a knife he got from a bag right next to him and ran towards Fluttershy.

Apple Jack started running towards Blade to intercept him while Rainbow Dash flew over her head and got close enough to hit him, she missed. AJ was now only a few inches near Blade about to buck him, but he bucked her in the face and sent her flying towards Pinkie Pie, who had her party cannon ready to fire. Twilight and Rarity teamed up and started running towards Blade with all of their might. Twilight used her magic to grab the knife that was being held by Blade's magic and began to struggle for control of the knife while Rarity came up and hit Blade right in the face.

Blade grunted in pain and hit Rarity back as he was still struggling for control of the knife from Twilight. "You all are weak!" he yelled.

"Hey Blade!" Pinkie Pie yelled, "Do you know what time it is!? IT'S TIME TO PARTY!" She then fired the cannon at Blade, hitting him with all kinds of party supplies. A pointed party hat hit him in the eye. He held his eye, cried in pain, and lost all control of the knife, which was now in Twilight's control.

"You are weak Blade." Twilight said, "We are stronger than you think because we can defeat you with the magic of friendship."

"You all think you can just win like that?" he asked, "You haven't even seen my true capability yet." He then grabbed the knife from Twilight in a flash and ran towards Fluttershy again. Josh then held his stance and pushed Fluttershy out of the way. He put up his hand and caught the knife by the handle. Blade and Josh were now struggling for control of the knife, but it was no problem with Blade, for he charged at Josh and hit him right in the stomach with his head and sent Josh down the yard about 5 ft away.

"Since you are so anxious to get things over with," Blade started, "I'll just end you first." Blade picked up the knife from the ground with his hoof and started towards Josh. Rainbow Dash started towards Blade with her hoof ready to strike and hit Blade right upside the head. He then used his magic to stop Rainbow in the air and threw her into Twilight, Rarity, Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy watched as this happened.

"No, please stop Blade." Fluttershy begged.

Blade stopped... He looked at Fluttershy and gave a smile as he started towards her, "Well, I guess I can take care of one problem before I kill James." he said.

Fluttershy started to scream as he was close with the knife. He rose the knife and brought it down...

Josh was all of the sudden in front of Fluttershy, screaming in pain. The knife had struck him right in the stomach, making blood appear behind his shirt. Blade looked at Josh and became angry, "DAMMIT!" he yelled, "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE..." but he was stopped, by someone, or some pony choking him. The figure behind him was Fluttershy, she had him in a choke hold.

"Flut...ter...shy..." he said with less air in his lungs, "what...ar..you...doi..agh!" Fluttershy wouldn't let go of Blade; his face turned blue and he began to lay on the ground. Fluttershy was still holding him down as he tried to gasp for air.

"Fluttershy!" Twilight yelled, "Don't do it!"

"He hurt James! I won't let go of him!" Fluttershy yelled while tears were coming down her face.

Apple Jack ran towards Fluttershy and grabbed her. She struggled as AJ was pulling her away from Blade, who looked like he was passed out. "You don't need to be going on and killing some pony Fluttershy." AJ said. Fluttershy pulled away and ran towards Josh, who was in extreme pain.

"James!" Fluttershy said as she laid next to Josh.

"Fluttershy..." Josh said in a weak voice.

"Oh my, please be okay." She said with tears running down her face.

"I'm not sure if I will be okay Fluttershy," he started "he did a number on me with that knife of his."

"Oh please don't go! I love you!" she cried.

Josh lifted his hand towards her face and wiped the tears on her cheek off. "Don't cry baby," he said, "I don't want you to be sad, I want you to be happy."

"I can't be happy, he stabbed you right in the stomach!" she yelled.

"Ssshhh...." he hushed, "I love you Fluttershy and I don't know if I will pull out of this. I was lucky the first time when I fell from the sky, but I don't know about this time."

Fluttershy began to cry even harder as she place her head on his chest. "Please pull out of it James... I need you in my life." she cried, "You of every human or pegasus in the world has treated me right and I can't let that down. I love you too much for you to leave me."

Josh put both hands her face full of tears. "I love you Fluttershy, I will never let you go. You will always be in my heart no matter what and I will always be in yours." She reached down and kissed him one final time.

"I love you James..." Fluttershy said.

"I love you too Fluttershy...." Josh said one last time.

Josh's eyes were now beginning to close as he took his last breath...

"James?" Fluttershy cried, "JAMES!!!!" She yelled. "NO!!!! COME BACK! COME BACK TO ME! DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME! NO! COME BACK! I NEED YOU DAMMIT! COME BACK!!!!" Twilight and her friends came over to Fluttershy and hugged her as they all cried.

"What a brave human." Rainbow said.

"Yes he was." Twilight said.

The ponies cried for minutes... then...

All of the sudden, a flash of light appeared behind them. A great white alicorn appeared and stepped from the light. It was Princess Celestia. She looked down and saw what had happened. "Girls," she started, "I want you to take this portal back to Equestria immediately, I will handle everything else here."

Twilight and the rest of her friends got up, "Yes Princess..." Twilight responded.

Fluttershy didn't budge, she was still crying on Josh's chest. Princess Celestia came over to her and hugged her.

"It's okay Fluttershy." She said, "He was the bravest human that I have ever seen in all of my years coming here. He will never be forgotten. I will take Blade here back to Ponatraz and make sure he stays there. You need to go back to Equestria, I will take over everything from here."

Fluttershy kissed Josh one last time and headed back into the portal back to Equestria, where she went back to her cottage and never came out.

Equestria

Every pony has been talking about the prisoner that had escaped from Ponatraz, but was captured about three days ago. He is no longer among the living. The ponies all in Ponyville were doing all of their jobs and wondering what ever happened to Fluttershy, she hadn't come out of her cottage for two days now. Some say she's dead, some say she's going through a rough time, some say she's too shy to come out. Princess Celestia then put an end to all of the rumors of Fluttershy and told them not to worry about her.

Fluttershy

I heard some knocking at my door.

It's been a few days since any pony has come and visited me, but I didn't want to answer the door. I have been so down lately and never ever wanted to show my face to the public. My friends have been worried about me since the recent events that took place in the human realm. I can't stay in here forever and let my life rot away, so I will answer the door this time.

I missed James. I couldn't have asked for a better pegasus and human in my life. He repaired my heart and made it so much better to live, but without him, my heart is broken forever. We shared so much and I loved him. My James.

I opened the door. The sun came seeping into my cottage as I opened the door to reveal Rainbow Dash at the door with a smile on her face.

"Hello there Fluttershy!" she exclaimed.

"Hi." I said quietly.

"We've been really worried about you and I wanted to see how you were doing." she said.

"Oh, I'm okay. Everything's fine here." I lied.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'm sure." I said back.

"Well," Rainbow Dash started, "I was going to invite you to a surprise party that you would absolutely love."

I was starting to consider coming out to the the outside. "Let me get ready and I will go with you to the surprise party."

"Great!" she said in excitement.

I went and straightened my hair, oh what a mess I was in. I looked like sasquatch! ICK! I couldn't look like this. Even though I wasn't in the surpising mood, I wouldn't miss a Pinkie party for anything. I still loved my friends and wanted to support them. As soon as I got everything situated, I went out the door with Rainbow Dash.

"Where are going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise silly." Rainbow responded.

We were passed Ponyville and heading towards Canterlot. Why was Pinkie having a party in Canterlot after what just happened? This was all very strange to me. We went through amazing and terrifying events and she decides to party? Pinkie is so strange at times, but whatever she is doing right now, it may not be as strange as I think it will be.

We arrived in Canterlot, every pony there welcomed me like I was new there. They all raised their hats and cheered for me. I didn't know what was going on, but if I asked, I was going to be told, 'It's a surprise' over and over again, so I continued on with Rainbow up towards the palace. Wait... The palace? Why the palace? Boy was I in for a surprise.

We entered and I saw Princess Celestia there with all of my friends. Pinkie Pie jumped in excitement and hugged me with all of her strength.

"OH! FLUTTERSHY!" She cried, "IT'S SO SO GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN!"

All of my friend then began to cheer for me.

"What is the party for girls?" I asked.

"Well," Twilight began, "We know how much of a toll the events took on you, so I thought we could cheer you up with a party in James' name."

I kind of looked down for a moment. "I appreciate the whole party and all, but I don't think this party is really necessary for me." I said. "Thank you though for caring, it's so good to have friends that I can count on to cheer me up, but I just can't be happy right now."

"Of course you can." I heard some pony say from far away.

Who was that? The voice sounded familiar, but it didn't occur to me at the time.

"Who's there?" I asked.

Princess Celestia then looked at me, "Fluttershy." she said, "Behind these doors, you will find who is talking to you. I bet you will be very happy and pleased to see this pony."

"Are you trying to hook me up with some other pony?" I asked in curiosity.

"Of course not." Apple Jack said, "We are here to re-unite you with some special pony of yours."

I don't know who it is, but behind those doors is the answer. Princess Celestia opened the doors as I approached them. The sun was seeping into my face as the doors opened. I looked ahead of me and saw the pony in front of me, but it was hard to see because of the sun blaring in my eyes. I put a hoof over my eyes to block the sun and reveal who the special some pony was. It wasn't just a pony, it was a purple pegasus with red shades, a black jacket, and a black mane that was flowing through the air.

"Hello Fluttershy." James/Josh said with a smile.

I was in shock. I almost passed out with joy as I saw his beautiful face look at mine. He stepped forth and hugged me.

"It's nice to see you again." he said.

"Oh my!" I cried, "How is this possible!?"

"I did all I could to save his life." Princess Celestia said, "I took him into care and healed him with the help of my sister. Fluttershy, I want you to know that he is always welcome here and he can come and go as he pleases. He already knows he can do these things, but I don't want him to try any funny business." she said with a laugh.

We all laughed real hard about this. After we were done, James looked at me. He removed his shades to reveal his beautiful blue eyes.

"I told you that I would always be in your heart." He said.

He held a hoof on my face and wiped the tears coming down from my eyes, "Don't cry. I want you to be happy." he said.

"I am happy." I said with a smile. I held his face with my hoof and we kissed. If there's one thing that James did, other than make me happy, it's that he gave me a new life and new look on things. The most important thing he ever did that I am amazed about is the fact that....

He repaired my heart.
