Chapter 1
"Hi, Spectra."
A teenager with silvery-white hair and pink glasses looked at the girl with her rainbow  hair in a ponytail. The girl looked up, her leather jacket covering her pink t-shirt.
"Hi, Silver Spoon." Said Spectral Speed. "Have you found her yet?"
"Nope." Said Silver, glancing back.
Because of redistricting, Diamond Tiara had to go to a different middle school than Silver Spoon, and now, in high school, they both go to school together.
"Well that sucks, I was looking forward to meeting her." Spectral Speed glanced around. She saw the groups from last year, and more. She noted three girls talking, and wearing matching red jackets. The Cutie Mark Crusaders. she remembered, recalling the name of their club, but her thoughts were soon interrupted by the shouts of her best friend.
"Diamond Tiara! Over here!"
Spectral Speed followed Silver Spoon's gaze to a girl with wavy purple and white hair in a pink mini dress. Her red heels clicked as she walked over, and a tiara was carefully balanced on her head.
"Silver Spoon! It's been forever since I last saw you!" Diamond Tiara said happily. Then she looked at Spectra. "Who are you?"
"My name is Spectral Speed, but you can call me Spectra."
Diamond Tiara looked Spectra up and down. She noted the jacket, black jeans with an assortment of gems, low cut black boots, spiked dog collar, magenta earrings in the shape of lightning bolts, and the bit of light pink t-shirt. She came to the conclusion: Spectra likes splashes of color on black, she likes true punk couture.
"So, where do you live? If your not an orphan like Scootaloo.
"Shut Up! My parents are still alive, and my adopted siblings are Elements of Harmony. The one I was left with was Fluttershy, for Rainbow Dash was living in Cloudsdale, and my mom and dad were traveling around Equestria!" Yelled Scootaloo.
"Whoa! Aunt Scootaloo! Calm down!" Said Spectral Speed, looking at the girl who was three years older than her. Thanks to living with Twilight, Spectral Speed was ahead of all others her age. After all, she was thirteen.
"Aunt Scootaloo?" Asked Diamond Tiara, a smirk on her face. Then the smirk turned to a look of horror and shock.
"N- n- no... you... you're the daughter of the Rainbow Factory."
"No, of Rainbow Dash." Spectra countered.
"You...  you're insane... just like your mom."
"No.... I'M NOT!!!!!!!"
The strength of the yell sent pepole from Diamond's school running, but the others, who knew Spectral Speed, covered their ears with headphones that were specially given for this kind of thing.
"You ok?" Asked Scootaloo from behind Spectra.
"Yeah... I... I think I need to rest."
"No problem." Said Silver Spoon, and the three of them walked to the counselors office.

"Hey, Twilight." Spectral Speed dropped her backpack to the floor, followed by a thump.
"Hi, Spectra." Said Twilight, looking up from her work.
"Any news from mom?"
"Yeah. She said to go by the mansion after you did your homework."
"I already did it."
"Good. Then we should get going."
Twilight walked below where Spectral Speed was flying.
