Mysterious happenings have been going on within the Badlands of Equestria. Creatures within have turned up on the edges of villages, all dead, all mauled by something bigger, faster, stronger and smarter than anything Equestria has faced before. Gryphons came next, their bodies torn to shreds. Fearing for the lives of her ponies, Luna forms a team of the best and brightest ponies in the hopes of hunting and killing the creature before it has a chance to attack her subjects. But once they find it, can they even escape?
