You ran
You ran as far as you could
You didn't know where you were going, you just had to get away
Earlier today, you got into an argument with your mother, harsh words were said and hands were laid on person. She was very angry at you. Once she left you in your room, you opened the window, climbed out and ran away. Tears filled your eyes during your run, but it didn't stop you. You left the city and into the forest, ignoring the scratches on your bare arm and dirt flying onto your body.
You kept moving, following the sun as it set along the horizon, up ahead, the sun's rays were blocked by a row of tall, wide rocks. They stuck their dull points semi-high from the ground. Stopping in front of the row, you tried to catch your breath and pushed (H/C) strands from your face. You looked at the rocks, and looked backed the way you came.
Something in the back of your head was telling you to turn around and return home. It was telling you to avoid this rocky boarder and return home. Turning your attention back to the boarder, something tried to reawaken about this. Have you heard something about this boarder before? If so, what was it? Was it something good or was it bad? You could not remember. Swallowing a dry lump in your throat, you found out how thirsty you were.
You were snapped out of your thoughts when you heard rushing water, without thinking; you scaled over the rocks, and down near a small stream. You dunked your head in and took a long drink. Finished, you realized the sun had set and the moon was rising. Not sure of who or what would turn up, you decided to take shelter under an uprooted tree base
As you tried to get to sleep, an alarm was ringing in your head telling you to head back across the rocks. You were too tired to really care. You decided in the morning to head to a friend's house nearby before heading back to your mother. You kept gazing into the crescent moon, you tried to remember what was this side, and why it seemed to remind you of something. Your thoughts continued until you finally were able to fall asleep....
