Luna and Discord play Slender mane
"Luna, I said no — I am not playing that scary game with you — it's just not my kind of game." Discord groaned.
"Oh, come now, Discord — what art thou? A chicken?" mocked Luna.
"No, just part chicken." Discord hissed.
"You're right, I guess. Besides . . a child like you wouldn't understand the coolness of this game, anyway." Luna used reverse psychology in hopes of tricking Discord. It worked, too.
"A.. a.. a child!? I'm no child!! I'm over a thousand years old!!!" Discord looked like he was going to fall on the floor and start crying.
"Then prove it, Discord — unless thou really art a chicken." Luna gave a sly and satisfied smile.
"Fine . . I'll play. But . . can I ask you a question? Where did you get the laptop?" questioned Discord.
"I borrowed it from 'Tia." Luna gave another sly smile.
"Oh, okay."
Discord took a few minutes to breathe as he turned on the laptop, and clicked on the Slender Mane icon that L una downloaded. He could feel a chill down his spine as he walked around the dark forest.
"So . . what are we doing in this game?" asked the draconequus whilst chattering his teeth.
"Well, you are supposed to find eight or so notes, which are scattered around the forest in random places." Luna explained.
"Look, there's one now!!" yelled Luna right in the draconequus' ear.
"Ow! You know I'm right here not even three feet away from you!" snapped Discord, rubbing his ears.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Get that note — it's literally right there." commanded the princess of the night.
"What!? No way — Slender Mane is just going to jump me if I do." quipped Discord.
"Just pick it up now!!" demanded Luna in her royal Canterlot voice.
"OW!!! Fine, I'll get the note. Happy?" Discord sighed as he reached for the note. He turned around only to be faced with Slender Mane. He let out a girlish scream that was heard t hroughout the castle.
"Isn't this fun, Discord?" asked Luna.
"NO!!" snapped Discord, hardly able to speak. After he finished screaming, he started to hyperventilate.
"Oh, come on, Discord — that was awesome. Keep playing???" pleaded Luna.
"I just know that I'm going to regret this . . but fine — I'll keep playing." Discord rolled his eyes.
"Thank you, Discord." thanked Luna.
"Okay, let's start this again." Discord groaned.
"Excellent. This time, let's try and get at least two notes." laughed Luna.
Discord grumbled at the thought.
Discord stroked his mane while waiting for the game to load.
"Okay, so now you just have to survive — no trick to it." Luna smiled. Discord sighed and took a deep breath.
"Okay, let's do this." D iscord said.
"You're doing great, Discord!" Luna remarked.
"Thanks." Discord replied.
"Hey, there's another note." Luna pointed out. Just as Discord picked up the note, he turned around to see Slender Mane. Discord shielded his eyes.
"Eek!!" yelled Discord, leaping out of his seat.
"Yeah — you're quite the tough guy." giggled Luna sarcastically.
"Yeah!? How 'bout you try it, huh!?" told Discord.
"I guess I will." Luna responded haughtily.
"Good — here you go." Discord gestured her towards the seat.
Luna sat at the desk chair.
"I'll show you how it's done." Luna brushed her mane.
As soon as the game turned on, she was off and on her way — looking for notes. It only took Luna an hour to find em' all.
" See? That's how you do it. Do you get it now?" asked Luna whilst getting up from the desk chair.
"Um . . yes — I think so, but do we have to keep playing this?" Discord queried woefully.
"Of course — the fun has only just begun."
Discord frowned as he sat back on the chair to get comfy.
"Good. Now go forward." said Luna.
"I can do that, Luna — or as Celesta calls you — Lulu." Discord denigrated.
Luna raised her hoof to strike him, but she just let it pass and ignored him.
"Oh, what's wrong? You need your mommy?" asked Discord.
Just then, Slender Mane was right in the front of the screen. Discord went flying and let out two words.
"Holy shit!!!" the draconequus exclaimed.
Discord recovered himself slowly.
"You can take a break while I play again. Fair?" offered Luna.
The draconequus could only nod in compliance.
Some hours later, Luna eventually called him.
"Okay. Your turn, Discord." informed Luna.
All the draconequus did in response was moan.
"Fine." he stated, clearing his throat.
"Come now, Discord — you can't get hurt. Turn thy frown upside-down — I learned that from Pinkie Pie." smiled Luna.
Discord ignored Luna as he trudged through the forest.
"So how long are we playing for?"
"Don't worry — we're almost finished." Luna said.
"Good." said Discord.
Hours passed. Discord repeated his question from earlier.
"I said that we're almost done." Luna replied for the second time.
"You said that hours ago . . when are — you know, never mind."
An unexpe cted presence suddenly entered the room.
"Lulu, have you seen my laptop?" asked Celestia, calling her by her pet name.
"Um . . no." she lied.
"Discord, do you know where my private laptop is?" asked Celestia, turning to him.
"Yeah, it's not like I'm using it, or anything." Discord said in a snarky tone.
"WHAT!!??" Celesta snapped.
"Yeah — I'm playing a game on it." stated the draconequus.
"That is only for me!!" yelled Celestia, full of gusto.
"What, this?" he was subsequently dragged out by a few unicorn guards.
Luna waved at the draconequus being dragged out of the room.
"But Luna told me that she asked!" Discord pleaded last-minute.
"Oh — that explains a lot, now doesn't it?" noted Celestia.
Luna and Discord play Ponycraft
"But, Luna, I played your game last week — now you have to play my choice, and I choose Ponycraft." explicated the draconequus. The princess sighed.
"Fine, Discord . . I'll play." The princess frowned. She booted up the game after clicking on the diamond pickaxe.
"Okay . . what now?" The princess looked at Discord's newly-bought laptop. He started typing,
"Now, just wait right where you are." Discord smiled maniacally.
"Discord . . 'Tia told me that thou 'tis a troll." Luna remarked in reference to his regard.
"What? Me? Well I never . . . I've never trolled any such a soul in my entire life." argued Discord, continuing to type.
Hours slowly passed and Luna got up, "I'll be right back — I need a bathroom break." said Luna as she excused herself out of the room.
"Okay."
Discord continued to look around the blocky, computer-generated world. When Luna got back, she found herself taking a step back to admire her pretty house when she heard a click that apparently was the principal trigger in making her edifice go up in smoke.
"DISCORD!!!??? THOU LIED!!!!!" exploded Luna, speaking as loud as she possibly could. Discord smiled satisfied as he kept typing. Luna raised an eyebrow, "What are you typing?" asked Luna.
"Nothing." He shifted his computer away from Luna's eyesight. Luna jumped at Discord in response . . for the longest time . . it felt awkward while Luna was on top of Discord . . . She finally overpowered Discord and pulled his laptop to her.
"Well, lookee' here, Discord! Let's see . . it's a blog!? You're just too much! So . . your screen-name is chaos, your newest blog is: "just trolled the night princess (troll face)." The dark-blue one had to take a short-lived silence upon reading the contents of the screen . . .
"Thou art a lier!!" Luna yelled with a tone of oh-so-sweet discovery.
"Bu.. bu.. but I am still fun to play games with . . aren't I???" Discord quivered sheepishly.
"Being the case as it is . . still . . . Thou art a pleasure to play with." Luna admitted. Discord shifted his seat to Luna's couch.
"Luna, what do you think of the game now?" asked Discord, now somewhat more comfortable and out of the hot-seat.
"Oh, it's better then I thought. I'll say that much." Luna imparted, giving a slightly sheepish smile.
"I thought you'd like it." Discord told her.
A few more hours passed, at which point Discord heard Luna yawn.
"Aren't you a bit tired?" asked Discord. Luna nodded her head in response.
"Well . . I guess we can stop now." Discord said, shutting off his computer. He checked his wristwatch that he made appear out of thin air to see it stroke seven P.M.; the time that Luna is supposed to raise the moon.
"Well, goodnight, Luna — see you next week, or tomorrow . . most likely tomorrow, me thinks." Discord stretched himself thoroughly, and then walked away in silence.
