Chapter 3 - Golden Spirit
Previous ChapterNext Chapter“So where do I find this Golden Spirit.” “Look for the light which soars through the sky but only at night.” “So, a Shooting Star” “Yes a shooting star, can’t you at least try and make it sound mystical and unknowing, not just ‘a Shooting Star’ yeesh!” “Ok then I sorry anyway… where am I most likely going to find the shooting star? “Well that’s for you to find out.” “You just don’t give me a break now do you?” “Nope!” “You know what sometimes I honestly hate you!” Twilight didn’t respond as I looked around I see Twilight backing away from me saying, “Beware! Beware! Bewareeeee!” “I can still see you!” “No you can’t I am a figment of your imagination!” “Right…” I watched Twilight as she bolted away out of my vision. I muttered to myself, “Seriously she needs to get out more often and stop watching TV.”
It came night, all seemed to be what it was before, nothing different. So where was I supposed to find Golden Spirit. I came to a meadow, the plains where as far as the eye could see and the mountains had snow caps all over them. The sky was as purple as Twilights mane and the sky was filled with the stars of imagination. The moon was bright and bold and it glimmered and twinkled with all the stars. Something seemed familiar about this view, I just couldn’t put my hoof on it. Déjà vu some called it, but it didn’t feel like it. I layed down for a while starring at the bright night sky. The stars twinkled in a pattern and it went on for quite a while. I traced them like dot to dots from one to another. Time seemed to pass quite quickly and it became very late at night. Nothing had happen until that moment. A shooting star came crashing down to the earth very close to where I was. It landed somewhere in the middle of the Everfree Forest. Ponies say to never enter the forest alone but I had to if this is what Twilight wanted me to seek. I cantered as fast as my hooves could make me go, as I came to the entrance there was signs littered everywhere all warning me not to enter.
