500 years after Celestia banished her sister to the moon, the unicorns are preparing for a revolution. Believing that they are being treated as second class citizens, they prepare to take the throne of Canterlot.

Two brothers, Night Shade and Sun Cloak lead the revolution. However, after his life is spared by princess Celestia, Night Shade begins to wonder if she is the tyrant they think she is.

Torn between his family, friends and new found doubt, Night Shade begins to struggles to decide where his loyalties should lie.
