//-------------------------------------------------------// The Bravest Pony -by chubbysonicfan- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 It was a beautiful April morning in Equestria, as all the fillies and colts in Ponyvill were getting ready for another wonderful Monday as Ms. Cheerilee's presentation at school is about to begin. But we're not talking about Scootaloo, Applebloom, or Sweetiebelle. We'll be focusing on someone else, Fluttershy. It all began on a Monday morning at Fluttershy's home in Cloudsdale. She finished her breakfast and was off to Flight-school. She had to be brought there by her mother, as she had trouble flying, which made her an easy target for Billy, Hoops, and Quarterback. "Hey look! It's Klutzershy, and she's being brought here by her mom!" he shouted, pointing at the yellow filly. "What a baby!" Quarterback called. "Yeah a baby." Hoops joined in. "Oh please stop, please." Fluttershy pleaded. "Hey! what did she ever do to you?" shouted a familiar voice, "You'd better back off!" "Oh look it's Rainbow Crash." Billy called, in a mocking tone. "And she's here to protect her ,girlfriend." The three bullies then shared a laugh as Rainbow dash lands with an explosion of rage. "SHUT YOUR TRAP BILLY!" she shouted. "I'M NOT A FILLY FOOLER!" Fluttershy, in the midts of an argument, slinked away trying not to be noticed and headed straight to class. Fluttershy's first period class was english, which she thought was particularly  good at, but today, she saw something that terrified her, her report card, she had gotten an F. 'Oh no!' she thought. ' mom's going to kill me!'  She just sat there until class ended, then she headed to her next class, math ,not her favorite subject. She slightly perked up when she saw what she got, a B minus. "better than english at least." she sighed miserably. She headed to her third period class, history. She slunk her head the whole time, and as soon as she was handed her report card her teacher, Mrs. Snowflake, told her that she was worried about her. "What's wrong Fluttershy?" she asked, trying to comfort her. "Oh,  it's nothing. It's just that my grades aren't that great, and my mother won't be too happy about them." Fluttershy said, still looking miserable. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Well, is there anything I could do to help?" "No it's fine."  The bell rings, signifying the end of class. "Well, i should get going." "Oh, okay. Good bye Fluttershy." Snowflake said, as she waved farewell to Fluttershy, she then went to her least anticipated class, P-E. She disliked it the most because she had to practice flight tricks in-front of , not only the whole class, but also to the three bullies that tease her constantly. The only thing that made this class worth while, was that she was partners with Rainbowdash. Unfortunatly, today was diffrent, she had to be partners with Quarterback. Rainbowdash asked the coach why they weren't partnered, to which he replied "Well, I just thought that she should be with somepony who will, toughen her up."  Disappointed, Rainbowdash wished Fluttershy good luck as she went to be parntnered up with Billy. Fluttershy walked quietly -almost scilently- over to Qurterback as he threw a ball at surprise ,another pegasus. "Ow! hey that hurt, you big bully!" she shouted. "I'm gonna tell on you!" "Ooooh I'm so scared of a dumb 'special player' go back to your retard squad!" he called, in joyful mockery. Surprise ran back to her team in tears as Fluttershy just watched in dispair as she knew she had to be partnered up with him. "Um... could you please um... not bully people, please"? she asked, as nervous as ever, "Okay, and maybe I could be your little slave following your every order, but no, I'm just going to tease her some more and you can just GET LOST!" Fluttershy had tears in her eyes now, she had never been yelled at since her father did after she went to her home late after spending a few hours with the woodland critters on the ground without parental supervision. She ran to the gym, crying from the the mental beat down Quarterback gave her. He knew about the trauma she went through and that he went to far, so he flew after her. "Wait Fluttershy!" he called. "Please, wait."  Fluttershy didn't listen, she just blindly ran to the gym. She just wanted to be alone, away from the bullying, unaware of what was in-front of her, she ran straight into the coach. "Oh, *hic* I-I'm s-sorry." she hiccuped, trying to hold the tears back. "I d-did'nt see you". "Well where the hell are you running to? get back out there." he said, slightny confused. "Fluttershy!" called Quarterback, "Hey, look I'm sorry for yelling at you like that. I was just angry at Billy for stealing my gear. I didn't mean to snap at you like that".  Fluttershy looked up at him in confusion. "We cool?" "y-yeah" Fluttershy said, still choking up tears, "Okay. Hey let's get back on the course. We're still partners".  Fluttershy smiled and walked back to the course with him. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Fluttershy and Quarterback enter the course as the coach got everypony ready for flight practice. "Alright champs, today we're going to try out some new maneuvers." the couch called. "Let's start with a triple aileron roll, with a multi barrel rolling rock after an airial triple salchow."  Everypony tilts their head in confusion, all except Billy who understood the instructions better than anypony else. He was first up, and executed the maneuvers like they were second nature, next up was Rainbowdash who attempted it but fell on the third aileron roll, after that was the duo Hoops and Surprise, Surprise succeded the menouviers but Hoops fell before he could do a barrel roll, more and more ponies went up to fly and it soon would be time for Fluttershy. When it was time for Fluttershy and Quarterback to go up Fluttershy's muscels locked up in fright, but she knew she had to fly or she'd fail the class. "Come on Fluttershy, time to fly." said Quarterback. "O-okay." she said, more neurvous than ever. They went up next and ,as everypony watched, Fluttershy tried to practice the menouivers with Quarterback, but was starting to let her fear take control of her. "O-oh dear, I'm sorry." she apoligized, for accidentily flipping Quarterback. "It's fine Fluttershy, just try not to do that again." Soon the coach saw that Fluttershy was bearly trying and called them both down. "Alright that's enough for now you two." he called, "Just come down and sit on the benches." They landed and went to sit on the benches, scilent, it was not long before one of them started a conversation. "So Fluttershy." Quarterback asked, "How come you got so nervous? It's not like the whole schools watching." "Well it's Just that I don't like performing in-front of a crowd." she said, blushing. "Well what I did when I got stage fright was, I'd pretend that everypony was a foal. It made me feel bigger than them."  when he said that Fluttershy imagined everypony as a foal, and chuckled at the thought. Soon the period ended and lunch started, Quarterback and Fluttershy went on their seprate ways, Quarterback went with his gang, and Fluttershy went to talk to Rainbowdash and Gilda. "Hey Fluttershy, whats up?" called Rainbowdash, "Hello, how are you two doing?" "Well, we were off to do some intense pranking." Gilda said, confidently. "you wanna join?" "Um... I'm not sure if I should do that." Fluttershy said, thinking of what her father would do. "Oh come on, you gotta come Fluttershy!" called Rainbowdash. "Well... okay what harm could it be?" Gilda nodded. "Alright, well here's the plan..." "So a ya made out with that filly fooler Klutzershy?" Billy asked, as snarky as ever. "Fuck you Billy!" Quarterback said, fustrated "She's just a friend, alright?" "Yeah, sure, so we just take it you two being friends? Meanwhile I hears ya two made out on those benches." Billy chuckled. "Listen, nothin happened between us, alright?" Quarterback replied, "Now what do ya want?" "Well let's begin with how we're going to pull the ultimate prank." Billy said, walking to the lunch room, the others tagging along. "Ultimate prank?" Quarterback wondered, "I like the sound of that"  He smiled at the thought.
