Golden Hooves is a name that to most ponies brings to mind a fresh, cultured author, a progenitor of many entertaining mysteries and adventures. He has fame, respect and wealth, a fitting reward to one gifted with so much talent. Yet to Golden himself, none of that matters save for the writing itself, the inspiration that fuels him. After nearly a month of futile attempts and ominous stagnation, the creeping suspicion that his life has lost meaning overcomes him. As his inspiration flees him, he launches himself into the land he thought he knew in an attempt to find his life again Beyond the Horizon.
