”Dear journal, thats how you are supposed to start one of these things right? I only asked this question for future readers of this journal although I keep it a secret now I hope to share my thoughts with the rest of the Equestria. Today was a fairly uneventful day was,simple.I woke go up I did bit of chores around the house. I was in the middle of cooking my own lunch when my brother had walked in from his post at the royal guard his shift had ended.He told me that the royal guard would be holding a tour of the castle. He had told me that he would be able to get me into their special group that was allowed to see the princesses.I'm still debating whether I should go to this event or not, I probably should,I think it would be nice to finally meet the princesses face-to-face, I've only heard rumors of them, but not any that tell me what they look like. I guess this is a good enough place to end it at least for today."
The next day I woke to Shining Armour sitting in my living room on my couch. This is not come as a surprise to me, he probably wanted to tell me something about the events coming up. "Ah,Shadow I meant to ask you some questions about your tour in a couple of days." "No problem shining ask away." "Great, have you ever met the royal sisters before?" "Not in person, but I've heard stories." "Good, are you willing to comply to any searches,rules,or regulations conducted/given by the guards?" "Well, with my brother being one yes." The conversation continued until we were finally all over with questions after that shining and handed me a form of rules. The form was simply just the rules and regulations that he talked about ,many were just common sense to me. Since it was a formal occasion I was thinking about getting a new suit. I know some people in ponyville that know a good seamstress, perhaps I shall pay her a visit.
Today, I disembark for ponyville by hot air balloon, my brother was able to get me one from the air travel station. I'm hoping the trip won't take too long.Later That day I arrived in ponyville it didn't take me long to find the carousel boutique as they call it there. As I entered the boutique I heard an argument between two people,as I wondered if I should leave,A purple maned mare walked in,trying to regain her composure."Welcome to Carousel Boutique,Where every garment is chic,unique,and magnifique. My name is Rarity.Can I help you sir?.” “Ah, yes you can. I come from Canterlot I’ve heard of your skills and would like to buy a suit for an event later this week.” “Oh? May I ask what this event may be?” “I’d rather not speak of it, it is official business.” “Well if I could make a guess,It has something to do with the Canterlot Castle Tour?” I replied simply with “Yes,how did you know?” “Everypony who is anypony knows about the tour darling,even I shall be attending.” “Oh well yes I will be attending and would like to look respectable for her majesties.” “Oh I will make you look more than that, I will make you look like a prince.” Her horn had glowed and fabrics and shears and this and that went flying from shelves and in seconds I was enveloped in them. seconds past and I emerged wearing the finest of clothing. A beautiful velvet overcoat had covered my snow white shirt and ebony tie. I gave her fifty bits and boarded the balloon back to Canterlot. As the balloon rose to the sky clouds started to move away from where I was headed I saw a blue pegasus clearing the way “Happy to help stranger!” “Hello!” I yelled back in response “What is your name.” “My name is Rainbow Dash” “Thanks for the help!” I had ended the conversation with that sentence.The entire ride back I thought how uneventful that town must be.I Went home happy I live an interesting life compared to someponies.
The rest of the week pasted in the blink of an eye. Wednesday I had searched town for a gift for Celestia, which was easy, largest most delectable looking cake I have ever seen I had the the sky iced onto it and the sun to be the centerpiece of the marvel of modern baking. The real challenge was in finding a present for her majesty Luna. Seeing as though she was stuck on the moon for 1000 years nobody but herself knew what she liked. The present finding had stretched into Thursday and the morning of Friday. When i saw her gift I knew it was perfect. It was an amulet of gold studded with jewels and the gem in the middle had resemble her telltale mane, it looked as if the entire cosmos was trapped in that amulet awaiting their master, Luna.
Feeling a sensation of the most accomplished day since I was invited. The rest of the day had gone bye and the next day had come like the tick of a clock.On the morning of the tour,I began walking down the street when a brown and spiky maned pony ran by me and into a blue police box.”How strange....”I thought to myself.I had put it out of my mind and continued on. When my brother silent landed to the ground in front of me seconds later I heard a roaring noise and a gust of wind pushed me down a bit. “ You've got to stop doing that Thunder Crash.” “I can help it Shadow I’m built for speed.” “and you still aren't a wonderbolt.” “I rather serve the princesses and Shining Armour, than fly around in a stupid side show, anyway I’m here to take you to the tour of Canterlot Castle.” “Sure, lead the way.” My brother wrapped his hooves around my and with a beat of his wings we were off "I can teleport for a reason you know" "Yet this is more fun.” We were there in a matter of minutes soaring high above the city finally revealed to me how massive the castle actually was. We landed at the front of the keep and entered to a security checkpoint.”Please step in between these two guards sir.” “All right.” In a quick instance the two unicorns horn to quickly scan through my body to detect anything dangerous. Nothing happened so they let me through the front gate. We walked down a corridor to see, six mares two of which I recognized one as Rarity and the other as Rainbow Dash. I walked to them and stupidly said “Hey I know you.” they both smiled and the others looked confused."I see you remembered to wear the suit I made you, you look even more dazzling than before." “Hey you’re the guy that I cleared the sky for a few days ago.” “Yeah that’s me, who are these other very beautiful mares?” I shoot them a charming look and then I look to Rarity and Rainbow Dash “Oh is this your guises new friend you know how much i like new friends!Maybe we should throw him a party!”A pink mare jumped up and down as she spoke. I recoiled at her overwhelming energy."Sorry darling, this is Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy and you already seem to know Rainbow Dash."
Rarity said."Hello all, I am Charming Shadow, but my friends call me Shadow, and this is my brother ,Thunder Crash." “Hi everyone, nice to meet you all” Thunder had said as his eyes sweep across all the mares but seem to stop and focus on Rainbow Dash longer than the others.I had looked at Rarity who had noticed Thunder staring at Rainbow Dash for an extended amount of time.As her eyes returned to me I could tell what she was thinking.Before she could comment, my brother had started the tour we were taken around the Canterlot gardens among other places.We even gained access to the “Chamber of the Elements” as my brother called it.There the mares explained they had harnessed the power of the Elements of Harmony to defeat Nightmare Moon.Next stop, the Throne Room as we walked in I was taken in the amazing decoration and even more so with the princesses as we made our way towards the throne I had caught Luna’s eye for a split second before she quickly looked towards the mares and my brother. I knelt “Your majesties for you” my horn glowed and the amulet hovered out of my pocket and around Luna’s neck, from down the corridor the cake hovered out and to Celestia’s side. They bowed their heads slightly I assumed in thanks for my gifts. We all met with the princesses and afterwards had broken into small groups and started talking. I purposely walked towards Luna and struck conversation with her.”I hope my gift is fit for your highness.”i said nervously.”Its fine we thank thee for such a wondrous gift.” I blushed because of her enthusiasm “So what do you do for work?” “ Um I’m unemployed, I don’t have that many talents.” she walked around me like Rarity had done And stopped to either look at my mark or my flank (maybe both). “Your mark is like none I have ever seen, a book and quill?” “Oh yeah, I got it when I first started writing stories and journal entries as a young filly” “Interesting, and you're not employed?” “Yes but I’m not sure what jobs want a good writer.” She only replied with “I suppose.” The rest of the tour was a bit boring but I had plenty of thoughts to keep myself occupied.I had never seen the princess before,She was so beautiful.The stars twinkled in her mane.I felt strange...knowing that I had such strong feelings...for a princess.Not that she was not my type just....I couldn't imagine myself with a mare of her stature .I have to see her again.
We connected, before I left I saw her she was...looking at me...in our eyes we connected. I’m going to visit her...with or without consent.I had prepared an anonymous letter and planned to quickly teleport to her chambers and leave it with her.If she was still awake I would try to speak with her.I did my teleportation and saw she was not there she must have be gone to raise the moon.I placed down the letter on the balcony. “What are you doing here?” I heard a familiar voice it was my brothers. ”I...I” I couldn't explain to him so I quickly teleported home and went to sleep hoping to deal with this problem in the morning.
I woke to find none other than Princess Luna on the couch. “I have been in search of a personal assistant of late and your brother has told me that of all people he knows he suggested that i choose you and thinking back on your skills i have come to the final decision that you will be my personal assistant.” I hadn't had my coffee yet so this caught me completely off guard. My amazing response was “ huh?” I looked to the kitchen where my brother had made some coffee when our eyes met he had a smirk on his face as he winked at me, he had caught on fast.He had recommended me to cover for last night and to get me closer to Luna’s.I had to thank him later now after I had regained my composure I said “Thank you so much princess, are there requirements for the job?” “Only that you be good with a pen and paper to schedule events like birthdays and such. “Sounds like my ideal job.When do I start?” “First,we will have to get you the proper equipment like one of the royal notebook and schedule,also I have personal quills for you if you would like...” Soon after we went to get said supplies and such,My life is finally turning around.

We were in the throne room and I made my way over to the beautiful cyan pegasus named Rainbow Dash that I recently learned of. She was making her way to her friends when I flew over and challenged her to a race, before she answered I sped off faster than sound out of the room and into the open air over the Canterlot Gardens and saw that she was next to me laughing. I sped in circles and figure 8’s then I tackled her out of the air before we hit the ground I turned and hit the ground, it had hurt more than I expected but I didn't show it. She was laughing so hard she was rolling on the ground. I couldn't hold it in anymore and I laughed so hard that I too was on the ground. “Hi I'm Thunder.” “I'm Rainbow Dash! Hahah, you're pretty cool Thunder.” “You’re a pretty good flyer Dash.” I said trying to charm her. “One day I hope to become a wonderbolt.”She replied “I even wrote a letter to try to convince them to recruit me!” She held it out to me. I said“If you want I could pass this to Spitfire herself,I’m a fairly good friend of hers.” She beamed so happily I smiled as she spoke “Really! I would be so grateful!” She wrapped her hooves around my neck and hugged be. “It’s no problem.” I blushed. We walked back talking about Spitfire and laughing when Rarity saw us. Great. “Oh look here my little darling cuddling up with the guard in second command.” “Yeah what of it Rarity.” I was surprised when she leaned into my side.I wasn't the only one thrown off, Rarity seemed surprised that Dash was being so protective. I was not only surprised but I was flattered.I walked her off in a different direction.”What was that back there, we you just messing with her or do you really like me?” Maybe I do maybe I don’t you’re going to find that out yourself.” She was obviously teasing me.Though I simply was having too much fun with Dash to care. We ran back into the group where we were getting many obvious looks except from my brother and Luna who seemed to be completely lost in each other. We with our faces red joined the group again and continued on. I think I left an impression on her because our eyes kept meeting during the tour.
Later that night I was doing my rounds and I saw my brother leaving a note for Luna on her balcony.I flew down “What are you doing here?” she looked surprised and before he answered he disappeared. Needless to say I was thrown by his unusual behavior. I picked up the note and read it carefully, I understood.The next morning before my shift was over I had asked Princess Luna to interview my brother for her job opening as a personal assistant.When we got home my brother was still in bed and asleep,so I asked the princess to get comfortable as I made some coffee.When I Heard footsteps coming down the the stairs,I overheard the conversation between The Princess and Shadow.I saw him look in my direction so I shot him a smirk and a wink hoping he’d get the message.After that They left to get the supplies for his new job.I had the house to myself, I decided to deliver Dash's letter to Spitfire,seeing as I had nothing else to do.As I flew into Spitfire’s Office she was not there,Sorin had said she had went out for something.So I decided to leave Dash’s letter in her extremely full mailbox. I flew my way over to the cyan pegasi’s house.To inform her that I had gave Spitfire the letter. “Rainbow Dash?” I yelled,hoping to see if she was home. “Oh,Hey Thunder! Did you get a chance to send that letter yet?”She said with excitement in her eyes.She was just coming back from doing some laps around some clouds,I could tell as I looked behind her panting face,I saw three clouds spinning in a rapid motion before colliding with each other and dissipating into smaller cloud chunks. “Yea,I stopped by Spitfire’s office and put the letter in her mailbox,although it was pretty full but I will make sure she looks it over,but i wouldn't expect a response too soon.”I reassured her. “Thank you so much Thunder,if there’s anything I can do for you then just ask.”She responded joyfully.She said she had to go help her friends with something,I can’t exactly remember.So I flew home just as Shadow was coming home with his supplies,All packed in a Luna-styled Bag.I flew up behind him as he opened the door. “Hey brother, how do you like your new job?” I said grinning. “Well tomorrow I go for some basic defense spells and I get to see the secret entrances to the underground bunkers,stuff like that.” “Interesting, anything else?”I asked “Not much else ,but thank you brother for this amazing opportunity .” “After I read your note, I knew I had to get you closer to her so, there you go!” “You read it too?” He said surprised. I nodded. He had a look of sheer embarrassment when I said “Your secret is safe with me.” He smiled and thanked me for the job and continued through the house. I left and went off to ask Celestia if there was anything she needed taken care of. “Excuse me princess? Is there any work to be done?” “Ah yes Thunder Crash I need you to go to the Everfree Forest and take care of a Manticore problem that I have been getting reports of.” She said in her royal voice. And without a word I had flown off to the Everfree forest to see what is going on.
On my arrival I immediately noticed the lack of any Manticores. Out of nowhere I felt a stabbing pain in my side. A bug-like pony had stabbed me in the side with it’s horn. It had started to glow and as if from thin air more of them were flocking from the forest. It was an ambush! There were so many I had no choice, i had shaken the creature off and flew as fast as I could but they were following close behind me. When Canterlot came into view I started shouting out for Shining Armour, I don’t think that he would even hear me but I kept trying. Then my muscles had seized up, I had no control of my body. I began to plummet to my doom when I had saw many armored pegasi and unicorns bounding towards me. It was at least half of the Canterlot guard.When the reinforcements came the weird ponies started to run away back to the forest. “Thanks for the backup guys.” Shining Armour stepped forward and had told me to try to keep this confidential from the public,which I can understand, wouldn't want the public to be worried about a possible invasion.After I returned the princess to give her a report on what I had encountered.She did not seem fazed by the information.I simply returned to my home and went to sleep.
