Spike tried to reassure Twilight. "I'm trying!" panted the little lavender mare as she tried to master a new spell she had been working on for some time now, but she couldn’t make the last step. "I just can't do it Spike! I’m going to go outside, because I really need some fresh air, as well as time to figure out, why exactly it didn’t work." Twilight mumbled as she walked out the door. Twilight’s mind was completely focused on why her spell hadn’t worked and she didn’t pay the slightest attention to her surroundings. Her thoughts unfortunately came to an end as she crashed into somepony. "Oh I'm so sorry Twilight! I was chasing after Angel and I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and oh please don't be mad!" Fluttershy squeaked as she picked herself up from the ground. "It's okay Fluttershy", Twilight shoved her thoughts away and put on a warm smile, while responding to the shyest pony from Ponyville, "I'm not mad." "Oh that's good," Fluttershy said with a look of relief. "So um... what are you doing out here Twilight? Did you lose something?" Fluttershy was always concerned for other ponies, but for one of her best friends, an extra bit of care was needed. "I think the only thing I might be losing is my mind!" muttered Twilight as she gingerly shook her head. "Why do you say that Twilight?" Fluttershy stepped closer, making sure not to make Twilight's frustration escalate. "Well I'm having trouble with a spell and every time I try it, my vision gets blurry and my horn just gives out!" This was, indeed, a frustrating experience for one of the most, if not the most talented unicorn of all of Equestria. She didn’t enjoy the personal treating by Princess Celestia herself for nothing. "Well what's that spell for?" Fluttershy asked. "It's a spell that takes your basic traits such as strength, agility as well as cunning, and increases it." Twilight said as they walk down the street through Ponyville. "Oh, what would you need that spell for?" "Spike wanted it so he could 'protect' Rarity from danger", Twilight said rolling her eyes, "It's more about the challenge of doing it, rather than getting the result." "Well where are you practicing this spell?" Fluttershy asked with a smile. "I did it in my Library where I practice all my spells." Twilight was confused by this. Why would Fluttershy know anything about magic, or rather suitable as well as necessary preferences? "Well maybe you should try doing it outside where there is more space and fresh air, maybe changing your routine could lead to better results." Fluttershy shyly said. "Hey, maybe you’re right Fluttershy! I never thought about doing that!" Twilight quickly did some calculations in her head. "Eureka! The magic would flow with nature which would create a greater harmony with the pony." Twilight turned to Fluttershy and gave her a big hug. "Fluttershy, you're a genius." The yellow shy pegasus who never could handle compliments could feel her own cheeks growing hotter, and with that knowledge the embarrassment caused her to turn even more crimson. "I'm glad I could be a help Twilight, now if you'll excuse me I must go find Angel now." and with that Fluttershy flew off in search of her rabbit. Twilight ran as fast as she could back to her house and busted through the door panting," SPIKE!!" yelled Twilight as she struggled to catch her breath "Come on Spike we've got to go! I think I might know how to make the spell work!" Twilight grabbed her bag and put her spell-book in it. "Where are we going Twilight?!" Spike asked. "We are going to the Canterlot Sculpture Garden." Twilight said with a gleam in her eye. "Why are we going there Twilight?' asked Spike. "Because what the spell lacked was a greater harmony with the magic that is all around us. The barrier that protects the library from lightning storms and such could have inhibited my ability to cast the spell." Spike nodded, in theory that could have been the problem. "We're going to the Canterlot Sculpture Garden because that area is flowing with magic, it'll be far easier for me to cast the spell there." Spike hopped onto Twilight's back, and she ran out the door and teleported herself and her little dragon friend to the Equestria famous Canterlot Sculpture Garden. As soon as they arrived at the Garden, Twilight opened up her spell book and almost immediately got to work, unknowingly stopping a few feet near a statue, a prison cell of one of Equestria's most dangerous enemies, Discord. "Okay are you ready Spike?" Twilight asked. "Yes, I'm ready." ‘Don't worry Rarity, I'll be strong enough to protect you soon’, Spike thought to himself. "Alright here goes nothing!" and with that Twilight stomped her hooves on the ground and twitched her tail. She closed her eyes and tried to concentrate on the spell. A bead of sweat streamed down her face. She began to pant and her horn was glowing with an immense amount of light. It was so bright Spike had to cover his eyes from the blinding light. Just then a giant gust of wind blew into Twilight's face and a spark lit on her horn as she slowly started to rise into the air with a magical aura surrounding her. The higher she rose, the brighter her horn got. "You can do it Twilight! Focus!" Spike yelled. "I'M TRYING!" Twilight struggled to yell, trying hard not to lose focus. And with a loud crack, something that happens only so many times, a bolt of lightning hit Twilight on her flank and a giant beam of light shot out of her horn and hit the Discord statue. Spike turned around only to see the beam of light hurdling towards him at an amazing speed after bouncing off the Discord statue.The beam hit Spike's forehead and his eyes lit up.Twilight fell to the ground only to hear the sounds of Spike whining. Twilight trotted over to Spike. "Spike!! Oh my goodness are you okay? Spike?" Twilight nudged Spike over and over again. "uuuuuh" groaned Spike. " Twa-Twa-Twilight? Is that you?" Twilight's eyes lit up with relief. "Yes Spike!! It's me! Are you okay?" Twilight asked. "I-I think so, what has happened up there?" Just then Rainbow Dash and Derpy Hooves came down from the sky and landed next to Twilight and Spike. "Twilight? Spike? What are you guys doing here?" Rainbow asked. "I could ask you the same question", She looked over to her grey companion, she was looking at the ground, or at least with one eye, "were you guys-" "Sorry about that Twilight, me and Derpy were practicing some new weather procedures that the weather team from Canterlot wanted to share and Derpy here made a storm cloud on accident." explained Rainbow Dash as Derpy went to tears. "I'm sorry Twilight I just don't know what went wrong!!" Derpy said. "It's alright Derpy. Nobody was hurt, and I think I managed to cast the spell correctly. So it's thanks to you that I finally casted that spell." Twilight gave Derpy a big hug and then Pinkie Pie appeared out of the bushes and said "This calls for a Pinkie Pie super duper extra special PARTY!!! YAY!!" Everypony laughed, knowing that asking why Pinkie Pie was there would be just pointless. And with that, they went off towards home. ~~~~~~~~~ Night had fallen upon the Garden. All was at peace, except for the statue of the Agent of Chaos. His stone prison, was shattering. And with a loud thunderous explosion, Discord was free from his prison and had one thing on his mind. To bring eternal chaos to Equestria. Mr. and Mrs.Cake made a lot of wonderful deserts including apple cinomin cake, blueberry muffins, poppy seed muffins, carrot cake, apple cider, and some zap apple pie. "Wow everything looks so delicious everypony!! Thank you so much!!" said Twilight as her mouth watered over all of the delicious deserts. "Here Spike we made this one just for you." said Mrs.Cake as she gave Spike a gem stone cake almost as tall as him. "Wow I don't know what to say! Thank you so much!" Spike then gobbled up the cake before Rarity could take any of the gems from it and use them for one of her dresses. " Your welcome Spike. We are glad you like them." said Mr.Cake. "STRECH~~~~~~~!" yelled Discord as he stretched his legs and arms. That's so ironic. The same pony who locked me up in that concrete hell has released me with a strength spell! thought Discord. I heard them talking about a party to celebrate her finally completing her spell, I know just the way to cause some caos in this town Discord made an evil smile and disappeared just as fast as he appeared. "Sing us a song Rainbow Dash!!" yelled Apple Bloom as she stepped down from the karaoke stage. "Well what song should I sing?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Ooow sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, if you want to, if that's okay." said Fluttershy very shyly. "Fluttershy, it needs to be about 20 percent cooler." said Rainbow Dash as she looked through a lis of songs. "A here's a good one" said Rainbow Dash and she began to sing "We are the champions, my friend! And we'll keep on fighting till the end!!" Everypony started singing along with Rainbow Dash until the end of the song. "Come on up here Fluttershy and sing us a song!!" yelled Rainbow Dash as she pulled Fluttershy up onto the stage. "Oh, no I-I don't think I should," said Flutttershy. "Non-sense!! just sing this song and you'll be fine!" Rainbow Dash then whispered the name of a song into Fluttershy's ear. "What? I have to sing that song?" asked Fluttershy in a surprised tone. "Yup!!" said Rainbow Dash walking off the stage. "O-okay here I go," whispered Fluttershy and she began singing very quietly " I-It's peanut b-butter jelly t-time...." "Come on Fluttershy LOUDER!!!" yelled Rainbow Dash. "O-okay," Fluttershy took a deep breath and began to scream at the top of her lungs (which isn't very loud because well, it's Fluttershy.) "It's peanut butter jelly time!! Peanut butter jelly time!!!" "Wow I thought she wasn't actually going to do it..." said Rainbow Dash. Everypony just stared at Fluttershy and then they all sang along with her. Fluttershy smiled and began singing again. Discord reappeared in the apple orchard. He went up to one of the apple trees and blew a black looking goo on all the apples on the tree. When he did this, the apples rapidly kept changing colors then they absorbed all the goo that landed on them and turned back to their original color of red. "Ha ha ha that should stir these ponies up and cause some major chaos!!" laughed Discord evilly and then disappeared into the sky. Twilight walked over to the snack table to get an apple because all of the singing made her very hungry, but there seemed to be no more apples on the table. "Oh Twilight, would you like some more apples? I could go out to the orchard and pick some new fresh ones for you." offered Apple Bloom as she noticed Twilight was looking at the empty apple bowl. "Yes that would be wonderful Apple Bloom." said Twilight as her stomach growled. "Okay um Pinkie Pie could you come with me to get some more apples?" asked Apple Bloom for she didn't want to go alone to the orchard. "Okey Dokey Lokey~!" Pinkie Pie happily hopped over to Apple Bloom and they made their way out the door towards the apple orchard. When they arrived to the apple orchard, Apple Bloom said " Um Pinkie Pie let's get the tree closest to the gate because I don't want to go to far into the apple orchard." "Okey Dokey Lokey~!" said Pinke Pie as she hopped over to the tree closest to the gate, which also happened to be the same tree Discord blew the black goo onto the apples, but they didn't know that. Apple bloom placed a basket next to the tree and Pinkie Pie kicked the tree to make the apples fall into the basket. "Okay we got the apples, so let's go back to the party! We're missing out on some good party time~!" said Pinkie Pie. Apple Bloom placed the apples into the apple bowl. "Thank you Apple Bloom." said Twilight as she used her magic to select an apple. She picked a bright red apple and took a bite. Some juice from the apple dripped from her mouth and left a streak of apple juice on her chin, but the streak was of black liquid. "These apples are delicious!!" said Twilight through mouth fulls of apple. When she finished her apple, Twilight said "I'm sorry everypony but I must be heading home now. It's past Spike's bedtime!" "Aw come on Twilight!" said Spike while watching Rarity. "I'm sorry Spike but it's time to go." and with that Spike hopped onto Twilight's back and twilight said "Goodnight everypony!" as she walked out the door. When they arrived back home Twilight went straight to bed. " Goodnight Spike, too much parting for me, man I feel sick!!" said Twilight as she climbed into bed. "Goodnight Twilight I hope you feel better by morning." Spike said and he began to doze off. Twilight woke up in the middle of the night throwing up blood. "PLEEEEEH!!" Twilight was desperately trying to get to the bathroom but she just couldn't move. "BLEEEHH!!" she threw up an enormous amount of blood all over her bed. Blood started steaming out of her eyes and she started not being able to see. "SP-SPIKE!! HELP ME~!" Twilight tried to yell but found herself unable to speak. Spike saw a trail of blood slowly sliding across the floor making its way towards him. "Twilight? What's going on? Are you okay?" asked Spike for he was concerned for his dear friend. "GAAHH" screeched Twilight trying desperately to talk, but she just couldn't. Her head began to throb and she could hear the pounding of her heart beat in her head. Spike got out from under his blanket and went over to Twilight's bed. Spike could not belive his eyes. "Twilight, wh-what's happened to you?!?!?" yelled Spike slowly backing away from Twilight's bed. Twilight let out a small groan and very slowly started to move. She had no control over her body at this point and she began to feel her soul slowly slipping away. Spike ran down the stairs and went to and grabbed the nearest quil and paper he could fin and began to write: Dear Princess Celestia, Something is wrong with Twilight!! She needs your help!! Please hurry!! Your friend, Spike He got and instant reply that said: Dear Spike, This is Princess Luna. Princess Celestia has some business in another town right now so she has put me in charge. I will be right over to help Twilight. Sincerely, Princess Luna There was a knock at the door and Princess Luna walked in with Dr.Hooves. "Dr.Hooves is here to inspect Twilight. Now where is he?" Luna asked skimming the room. "She's upstairs but she doesn’t look to good." Spike nervously said for he was afraid that the doctor might not know what is wrong with Twilight. Spike led the Princess and Dr.Hooves up the stairs followed by Luna's bodyguards. "She's right he-" Spike stopped. Twilight was nowhere to be seen, but there was a tremendous amount of blood. Twilight's blood. Her blood led off the bed and towards the window. Everypony looked towards the window and saw that it was open, and the trail of blood stopped there. "It seems she is not here Spike." laughed Luna. "This is not funny Spike. I don't have time to be playing your little games." she scolded. "But this isn't a joke! Twilight was right here!" protested Spike desperate to have the Princess believe him. "I don't have time for this!" Luna yelled as she stormed towards the door. There was a loud noise outside that sounded like a scream, and everypony looked towards the door. Feeling restless, Rainbow Dash went for a walk down the street in Ponyville. She had a strange feeling that somepony was following her. She looked over her shoulder and saw Twilight. Twilight was standing just a few feet away from Rainbow Dash but Rainbow could not see Twilight because it was to dark outside. "Is that you Twilight?" Rainbow Dash whispered. "Gaaahhh" groaned Twilight, stepping ever so slowly towards Rainbow Dash. "What did you say? I didn't quit get that." Rainbow Dash backed up until she was under a street light. She saw Twilight coming towards her, groaning with each step. "Gahh" Twilight groaned stepping under the street light. Rainbow Dash now saw the horrible condition her friend was in and screamed. "Twilight! What happened to you?" asked Rainbow Dash stepping closer to Twilight. Twilight let out a little groan and then jumped on top of Rainbow Dash. "Twilight!! What the heck are you doing?!?! Get off of me!" Rainbow Dash was now panicking for she couldn't push Twilight off of her. Rainbow Dash gaped for breath but only caught a whif of the horrible stench that was Twilight. She smelled like rotten apples mixed with rotting flesh. Twilight bit Rainbow Dash right onn the cheek and then she bit her ear off. "AAAAAAHHH!!!" screamed Rainbow Dash desperately trying pry Twilight off of her. Twilight was crunching on Rainbow's ear like a potato chip. Rainbow Dash looked into Twilight's blank eyes. This was not the Twilight she once knew and loved. "Hehehehehe" Rainbow Dash looked around trying to find out who she had heard just laugh. "Help!! Please! Somepony, anypony! Please help me!!" screamed Rainbow Dash. "Are you having fun yet?" Rainbow looked around, then she saw him. Sitting high up in the clouds was Discord. "You!! What have you done to Twilight?" demanded Rainbow Dash. "Me? I only gave her a little bit of apples hahaha" Discord laughed. "There is no hope for Equestria now! Have fun in hell my little pony!" and with that Discord had vanished. Everypony looked towards the door where they herd the screams coming from. "What was that?" confused, Princess Luna walked over to the door and opened it just a crack. "Maybe it's Twilight!!" yelled Spike shoving Luna aside to get through the door. Luna and her guards followed him. They ran around for 5 minutes trying to find out where the screams where coming from. They could hear strange noises coming from around the corner. Before anypony could advance, Derpy came zooming past them from up above. "Save yourselves!!!" She yelled flying as fast as she could in the opposite direction of the noises. They saw Flutterhy round the corner. "Flutterhy! Do you know what's going on?" asked Spike. "Gahhhh" Yelled Fluttershy inching towards the group. "What?" Spike yelled back. "Oh no!! Fluttershy, they got you too!!" for some reason that voice sounded so familiar to Spike. Then he knew who it was when a pink and fluffy pony jumped in front of him. 'I wonder if her hair tastes like cotton candy' Spike thought. He shook his head. 'Now's not the time.' "Pinkie Pie, what are you talking about?" confused, Princess Luna cocked her head like a dog. "I'm talking about the evil zombie ponies!! They’re everywhere!" said Pinkie Pie. "Zombie ponies?" Luna was still confused. " You'll be fine just don't let them bite you and don't get their blood on you!!" Pinkie Pie began throwing rocks at Fluttershy hoping to scare her away. That only made this worse. Fluttershy started galloping towards the groaning. "Run everypony! RUN!!" Pinkie yelled, galloping away from Fluttershy. Spike and Luna followed, but Luna's guards stayed behind trying to fight off the vicious pony. They were very unlucky though. Pinkie Pie, Spike, and Luna all went back to Twilights House going all the way to the top floor. Luna looked out the window on the balcony. She couldn't believe her eyes. The whole town was covered in these strange 'zombie ponies'. "What are we going to do Princess?" Spike asked with tears coming to his eyes. "We must find a way to stop this madness before it gets out of hand." She said. "But how?" cried Spike desperate to stop it too. "I don't know." Luna said tears now coming to her eyes as she looked at Ponyville. //-------------------------------------------------------// Gathering //-------------------------------------------------------// Gathering Chapter 4 ~Gathering~ Princess Luna walked back into the house depressing over what had just happened. "So what's your plan Princess?" asked Pinkie Pie walking over to Luna. "Well, first we need to find out who is still normal, and not one of those things" said Luna. "Well, where should we look first?" Spike asked. "I'll go fly above Ponyville so the zombie ponies can't get me. You two stay here and keep guard over the house." demanded Luna walking towards the door. "Wait!!" yelled Spike, "Watch out for Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. They can both fly and they're infected!" "I'll be fine Spike. Just keep safe." Luna went out the door locking it behind her. Luna flew over all of Ponyville hoping for a sign of any normal pony. She landed, hopelessly out of breath from the exhausting flight. She couldn't let her guard down, because if she did, she might become one of them. There was a strange rustling noise in the bushes and Luna whipped around scared of what might be behind her."Who's there?" whispered Luna. She saw 2 yellow eyes peek out from the bush. It was Derpy. "Derpy!" Luna whispered, "Derpy, come with me if you want to live!" Derpy came out of the bushes with some strange contraption tied to her back. "What is that thing on your back?" Luna asked Derpy. "I'll explain later. Now I should follow you to safety like you were saying." said Derpy. "Right of course." Luna picked up Derpy and flew off towards the house. When they arrived at the house, Luna went through the upstairs window. "I'm back." said Luna landing downstairs where Pinkie and Spike were. "I have brought back Derpy. She was the only one I could find so far." "That's fine. At least we know we aren't the only ones still normal." said Pinkie Pie hopping over to Luna and Derpy. "Um....Derpy what it that thing on your back?" asked Spike. "This is my protection. It's called a Gun." said Derpy untying the starng object from her back and placing it on the floor. "Uh, well, what does it do?" asked Luna. "It shoots stuff." said Derpy, "Have you ever seen one before?" "Well, no we haven't actually. What Kind of stuff does it shoot?" said Luna. "It shoots anything you want it to." "WOAH!! So it can shoot me out from that thing?!?!" happily yelled Pinkie Pie. She had always wanted to be shot out from a cannon, but never knew where to get one. "Yes, but I prefer to shoot muffins just because I like them best." Derpy said, mouth watering. "Okay, well where did you get this?" asked Spike. "I made it." Derpy said with a big smile on her face. "Do you think you can make me one?" asked Pinkie Pie. "Yeah sure but I need the right parts." said Derpy. "What parts do you need I will go get them." said Princess Luna. "Well I need 1 metal pole, 1 screw driver, 1 lighter, and some scraps of anything else you find." "Okay I'm on it." and with that Luna flew out the upstairs window. Luna didn't know what she got herself into. Where would she find all those things that Derpy needed? All the metal poles were lamp posts and she couldn't get them out of the ground. She did however find a screw driver and a lighter. "AHHHH!!! Get away from me you disgusting ponies!!" Luna turned her head at the sudden scream. She flew into the air, following the sounds of the screams. "AHHHH!! Somepony!! Help me!!" it was Rarity, she was surrounded by dozens of zombie ponies. Luna flew just over head and dived down grabbing Rarity. "AHHHH!!!" screamed Rarity. "It's okay!! I've come to save you from those creatures!" said Luna in a calming voice. "Oh thank you! Thank you!" Rarity was so grateful that somepony had come to save her. "Where are you taking me?" asked Rarity. "We are going to-" Luna stopped. She saw a lamp pole tipped over on the ground just below her. "We need to get that pole!" yelled Luna diving down to the pole. “Why do we need that pole?” Rarity was so confused by why the princess wanted such a filthy thing. “Derpy needs it to make something for Pinkie Pie!” yelled Luna. “Oh, well here I’ll just use my magic to get it so we don’t have to go down there where those nasty ponies are!” Rarity yelled before Luna got any closer to the ground. "Okay." said Luna. Rarity's horn glew and the pole rose from the ground coming towards them. Rarity focused all her attention to the pole making sure to keep it from falling as Luna flew in the air carrying her. "We are here." said Luna flying in through the upstairs window and landing downstairs. "Rarity!!" yelled Pinkie Pie hopping over to her. "Oh Pinkie Pie!!" Rarity put the pole on the ground and Pinkie Pie gave her a welcoming hug. "Did you get everything?" asked Derpy. "Yes I did." Luna put everything on the floor. "Good. Now I'll go make your gun Pinkie Pie." said Derpy rolling the pole into the next room and taking the tools. Derpy came out about an hour later with the same kind of gun that she had, but this one was for Pinkie Pie. "WOW!! Thanks Derpy!!!" Pinkie Pie gave Derpy a big hug and looked at her gun. "I made a mini version too out of the extra pieces of metal." said Derpy holding out a little gun. "What does that one shoot?" asked Pinkie Pie. "This one shoots pebbles." said Derpy. "Woah." said Rarity. "Yeah." Derpy proudly said. "So now what?" asked Rarity. "We must move out and find where this all started from." said Luna “We’ll help any normal pony we come across too!” said Spike. “Yes, I don’t know what these next few days will be like or if we even survive them but let’s all stick together.” said Luna. Everypony gathered around Princess Luna put their hooves in the middle of the circle and shouted “We can make it through this together!” and threw their hooves in the air. This was just the start of their new battle. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Cure? //-------------------------------------------------------// A Cure? Chapter 6 ~A Cure?~ Nopony knew where Discord might have gone. They only knew that he was out there. Somewhere. "We need to stop Discord and fast. Who knows what he might do to us next!" yelled Pinkie Pie. "Yes but, we don't know where to look first. Anypony got any ideas of where to look?" asked Luna. "Hmmm..... why don't we try looking in the Everfree Forest?" said Spike. "That's a good place to start." said Luna. It was cold and mysterious outside that day. The ponies had no sense of time since all the clouds were blocking the sunlight. For all they knew, it could have been night time. Luna led the way through the narrow path through the forest, shinning a light with her horn. Derpy walked beside her hold her muffin gun up, ready to attack if necessary. The group was coming up close to Zacora's bungalow, and then they smelt something horrible. "Do you smell that?" gagged Rarity holding her nose trying not to catch a whiff of the awful smell. Apple Bloom sniffed the air, "It smells like....like...." "Like rotting flesh." said Derpy. Everypony looked around for they knew what that smell meant. It meant a walker was nearby. "Don't let your guard down." whispered Rarity pointing her gun around. Pinkie Pie loaded herself into her cannon gun and Spike was ready to fire at any moment. They waited for 5 minutes but the smell still didn't go away. "Maybe, it's coming from inside the bungalow." whispered Luna. "Let's find out." said Derpy. Everypony ducked behind a nearby bush while Luna and Derpy stood close to the bungalow door. Derpy aimed her gun while Luna slowly and carefully opend the door with her magic. "Oh my Celestia...." Derpy's jaw dropped and do did her gun. "Oh my Celstia is right, it's Twilight!" yelled Luna. Spike dropped the Pinkie Pie gun and jumped out from behind the bushes. "Twilight!!" yelled Spike. He ran to the door, but what he saw struck disappointment across his little green face. Twilight was spread out on a table in the middle of Zacora's bungalow, she was still a walker. Zacora wandered through Ponyville looking for the ingredients she needed to make her new potion. She hadn't realized how bad this disease had spread. She had a recipe for a magic potion that might solve all of this. She was going to test it on Twilight once she got all the ingredients. It was quite easy capturing Twilight especially when she was wondering right outside of Zacora's bungalow. Finally she had gotten all the ingredients she needed to possibly cure Twilight and the rest of the ponies that were like her. She headed back towards her bungalow very quietly so that no walkers could hear her. Spike burst into tears. Seeing his friend like this brought great pain to his heart. "Why!! Why is Twilight in there?" Spike cried, running over to the table to have a closer look at his friend. "Spike wait!" yelled Rarity. Spike stopped and looked back at Rarity. Tears were streaming down his face like waterfalls. Rarity walked over to Spike and hugged him to try and calm him down. "Umm.. I don't know if anypony else noticed but, Twilight is getting up!!" yelled Pinkie Pie. Spike and Rarity looked back and saw Twilight slowly getting up. She was making horrible noises like she was being tortured. Spike hopped on Rarity's back and she galloped out of the house far away from Twilight. "I think you should know, by this time you should go." Zacora grabbed a stick in her mouth and hit Twilight in the head, knocking her out. Twilight landed on the floor with with a thud. "What are you ponies doing here? Is the sign not clear?" said Zacora pointing towards a sign by her bungalow. The sign read 'Stay clear from here for a deadly pony lye’s in there' "How could we have missed that!" yelled Luna stomping her hooves. "Don't ask me I put it in plain sight. Maybe, it's your height." said Zacora looking up and down at Luna. "My height has nothing to do with it. Maybe you should've made the sign taller with bigger letters." suggested Luna turning her head from Zacora. "Okay the sign doesn't really matter now because we already found Twilight. By the way, what was Twilight doing in your bungalow Zacora?" asked Pinkie Pie stepping towards Zacora. "That is a good question Pinkie Pie, for a good answer I will try. I tried to make this potion, hoping that Twilight does some motion. I think this might be a cure, but I cannot be too sure. I was going to test it on Twilight, but then you ponies came and started to fight." said Zacora. "Oh, well then why don't we help you!" said Pinkie Pie jumping up and down. "That is a good idea!! Maybe if we find the cure, we could help everypony who has been infected with this horrible disease!!" said Derpy giving Pinkie Pie and epic brohoof. "Well if Zacora doesn't mind, then I guess we could do all we can to help." said Luna looking at Zacora for an answer. "I suppose that would be alright, as long as you ponies don't fight" said Zacora. "Don't worry we won't fight!! We want to stop this walker thing as soon as possible!" said Luna. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's get inside and get to work!!" yelled Pinkie Pie hopping into the bungalow. When everypony was inside, Zacora put her ingredients that she had gotten from ponyville into her big pot. Luna used her magic to gently set Twilight back on the table. Just then everypony heard a rustling sound that came from outside. "I'll see what's out there." said Derpy holding her gun in front of her. She stepped outside of the bungalow and everypony else peeked their head through the door, trying to get a glimpse of what was going on. Derp was close to the bushes when the noise stopped. Derpy saw two green eyes peek out from the bushes. It was Spike. Rarity was with him too. "What are you ponies doing out here? Get inside!!" said Derpy heading back to the bungalow. Spike and Rarity followed Derpy cautiously. They didn't know if Twilight was going to attack again. Everypony got back to work on the potion. When it was finally done, Luna used her magic to open Twilight's mouth. Zacora poured the potion into Twilight's mouth and took a step back to see what would happen. Five minutes went by and nothing happened. Then, Twilight got up and started growling at them. "What's she doing?" asked Rarity "Is it working?" Twilight fell off the table and stood staring at Spike. She started to Trot towards him when she just exploded. Her blood plastered the walls and her remains were scattered all over the floor. Spike screamed and ran out of the bungalow in a heartbeat. "What just happened!" yelled Derpy. Zacora's eyes were as big as the moon and her mouth hung open. She didn't know what to say. "Well we know one thing: The potion didn't work!" yelled Pinkie Pie. Rarity started crying. She was covered from head to hoof in Twilight's blood. "I am sorry everypony that I let you down. Please don't frown." apologized Zacora. "It's okay Zacora. We helped you make that potion so it's not completly all your fault." said Luna patting Zacora on the back. Zacora tried to smile to show Luna that she was all right. "I will find the cure for sure!" said Zacora. She ran off and dissapered somewhere in Everfree. "Well everypony, let's get out of here and search for Discord. It's what Twilight would have wanted." said Luna leading the group out of the Everfree Forest. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Truth //-------------------------------------------------------// The Truth Chapter 5 ~The Truth~ Discord flew over Ponyville looking at his master disaster. He was so proud of himself for coming up with the idea of turning the ponies of Equestria into zombies. 'Let's see them get out of this one!' Discord thought to himself smiling at his own cruel thoughts. "Is everypony ready to go?" called Luna. Today was the day they would head out and find out just how this disaster happened. "Yep!!!" Everypony yelled. "Well let's go then!!" Luna cracked open the front door and looked around outside to see if the coast was clear. She flashed a light on her horn twice to signal that the coast was clear. Pinkie Pie, Spike, Rarity and Derpy followed behind Luna very quietly. There were so many clouds in the sky that day since all the pegasus ponies had plown away when the zombie ponies started to spred. "Oooooow I really hope it doesn’t rain!!" whined Rarity. "Shhhhh!!!! We can't afford to make any noises. What if an infected pony was around and it heard you? It would come after us that's what!!" Whispered Pinkie Pie. "How about instead of calling them infected ponies , we call them walkers." said Rarity. "I guess we could call them that. It sounds better than infected ponies." Pinkie Pie said looking around for any sign of a walker. They were coming up close to the Apple family's apple orchard when Luna stopped. Spike wasn't paying attention and bumped into her. "Ouch! Hey, why did we stop?" Spike groaned rubbing his head. "Shhh!!" hissed Luna pointing towards the orchard. Apple Bloom was wondering around the trees crying. Luna creeped forward. Pinkie Pie hopped into her cannon gun and said "Ready, aim, FIRE SPIKE!!" Spike pulled the trigger and Pinkie Pie went hurdling towards Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom turned her head and got a face full of Pinkie Pie. "GAH!!" yelled Apple Bloom. "I got her!! I got her!! Run everypony RUN!!" screamed Pinkie Pie holding Apple Bloom down to the ground. "Get off of me Pinkie Pie!! Ahhh!!" Apple Bloom was furiously kicking and squirming to get loose from Pinkie Pie's pin. "Oh Apple Bloom I thought you were a walker so I panicked, but it's wonderful that your okay!!" apologized Pinkie Pie creating a smile on her face spreading from one ear to the other. "You could have just called my name Pinkie Pie. You didn't have to attack me!" "Yeah but I wanted to try out my new gun. Did you see me? I was practically flying!!!" Pinkie Pie was now jumping up and down in circle around Apple Bloom. "Yeah I saw you Pinkie, and what did you mean by walker? " Apple Bloom cocked her head in confusion. Luna and the others walked over to Apple Bloom and Pinkie Pie. "Apple Bloom!!" Yelled Rarity trotting over to Apple and giving her a big hug. "My dear now why are you crying?" Rarity was concerned for Apple Bloom because it seemed that she was crying very hard before they had arrived. "Somepony came to our farm and attacked Applejack while she was bucking apples!! Big Mac went to go see what was going on and he never came back!! So I came out here searching for both of them. I can't find either of them!!" Apple Bloom started bursting out in tears again and Rarity tried to calm her down by giving her a warming hug. "Apple Bloom, did you happen to see what this somepony looked like?" asked Luna looking deep into Apple Blooms tear streaked eyes. Apple Bloom shivered and shook, she looked as if she was about to pass out. "I-It was horrifying ! The pony was foaming at the mouth and bleeding from the eyes!! It was the scariest thing I have ever seen!!" Apple Bloom couldn't stop shaking. "Calm down Apple Bloom!" said Luna. "We don't know how many of the walkers are around this area so we can't make any loud noises!" "Okay I-I'm sorry. I'll try and keep quiet" Apple Bloom whimpered. Discord watched the group from high in the sky keeping track of their every move. He wondered 'Come on ponies, what's your next move? Discord watched for a few more minutes then got bored so he flew away to check on his new creations.(that's the zombie ponies/walkers) The group looked around for anymore normal ponies then they left the farm and started heading towards the Canterlot Sculpture Garden. When they arrived they noticed that one of the statues was missing. The Discord statue. "Wait a second, where is the Discord statue?" asked Luna. "Your right it's not here, but where could it have gone?" asked Spike. "I know what happened!" Yelled Pinkie Pie hopping over to Spike. She turned to face everypony in the group, cleared her throat and started explaining. "So there I was having a lovely stroll through the garden when my Pinkie senses starting tingling. Something was going to fall from the sky!!! So I jumped in the nearest shelter I could find, which happened to be a bush near Spike and Twilight. Then I heard a thrash of lighting and out of the sky fell Twilight!! But, my eyes followed the magic light that had shot out from Twilight's horn and was heading for this statue!" Pinkie Pie pointed to where the statue used to be and continued, "The magic light hit the Discord statue and the statue cracked. I didn't think much of it so I started listening to Twilight and Spike's conversation and when I heard the good news about her completing her difficult spell, I jumped out of the bushes and said 'This calls for a Pinkie Pie super duper extra special PARTY!!! YAY!!' and everypony went home to get ready for the party!" Pinkie Pie's face lit up with a satisfying smile that stretched from ear to ear. "So what you're saying is that Discord escaped from his concrete prison and is the one causing this whole catastrophe?" asked Spike cocking his head in confusion. "Well duh Spike! Clean out your ears!" Pinkie Pie rubbed Spike's ears and smiled like nothing had just happened. "Wait, so this is all Twilight's fault then. She's the one who made the magic light or whatever come out of her horn, and it hit the statue which then cracked and now Discord is free!!" Luna stopped her hooves in frustration, huffing and puffing. "Twilight would never do such a thing on purpose! I'm sure it was just an accident!" explained Rarity knowing just how responsible her friend was. "Actually, if it weren't for me, Twilight wouldn't have shot the magic light from her horn. I was jumping on a cloud and a lightning bolt shot out and hit her flank. That's when the magic light came out from her horn and hit the statue I'm guessing." said Derpy hanging her head low in embarrassment. "Hmmm, but you didn't purposely make the lightning bolt come out from the cloud so it's not your fault. Well, maybe it is your fault just a little bit." said Luna staring at Derpy. "You are all idiots, you know that right?" everypony looked around not knowing who had just said that. "Look up here you buffoons!" it was Discord. "Discord!" yelled everypony. "Yeah I know it's me," Discord rolled his eyes, "anyway, it's my fault Equestria is like this you know. I poisoned the apples and when Twilight ate one the night of the party, she turned into a 'walker' as you call them." "Why would you do such a thing?" whined Rarity. "It was to cause total chaos, duh! That's what I do! This one was a really good idea, because I don't see how you can stop me now and all these walkers! Good luck everypony!" and with that, Discord vanished into thin air. "What does he mean by good luck?" asked Apple Bloom. "He means to see how long all of us will survive this. We must stop him." said Luna, staring into the dark sky. //-------------------------------------------------------// Loss Of Control //-------------------------------------------------------// Loss Of Control ~Chapter 7~ ~Loss Of Control~ Discord flew high in dark sky smiling at what he had done. Even the great high and mighty Celestia couldn't stop him, but who said it was going to be her? Discord landed on the ground and a cloud of dirt flew up around him. "Here my little monsters! Come here!" Discord didn't know the full extent of how dangerous these zombie ponies were. All he knew was that they were creating tons of chaos, and he loved that. He didn't see anypony coming so he started making more noise. He yelled and screamed and clapped his hands but nothing happened. He knew that the walkers wouldn't hurt them because he was the one who created them after all. Finally he saw a walker coming towards him. "Finally one of you ponies heard me!" Discord walked closer to the little pony and stared at it in amazement and disgust. The pony smelled of rotten flesh and looked as if she had just been hit by a car. One of her wings was starting to rot away and both her wings where feather less. She only had a few stands of her once beautiful rainbow main were left for the rest had fallen out. Her pinkish purple eyes were now white and eager for something to eat. Rainbow Dash looked up at Discord with hunger written all over her face. Her brain was rotten out so she was just like a brainless monster. Hence the 'zombie pony'. "You sure are ugly!" laughed Discord. He whipped away a tear of laughter and patted the zombie Rainbow Dash on her beated up head. Just then something inside of Rainbow Dash snap and she lunged out towards Discord. Discord jumped back and fell flat on his rump. "What's wrong with you? You aren't supposed to attack me!" yelled Discord. Rainbow Dash didn't listen and lunged out at him again. Discord poofed himself up onto the nearest cloud. "What the heck are you doing? I don't want to become one of you!" Yelled Discord. Rainbow Dash jumped up and down trying to reach Discord. She could not fly anymore because her wings had no feathers. "That was a close one! What the heck happened to that pony?" wondered Discord staring at Rainbow Dash. She hissed and growled at Discord. Then, Rainbow Dash started making these really weird yet loud noises. "Shut up you stupid pony!" yelled Discord. Not two seconds after Rainbow Dash made the horrible noise, there was a really loud rumbling noise. Discord looked all around and then he saw it. Hundreds of walkers running no, sprinting towards Rainbow Dash. She must have been calling them! Discord thought, watching the walkers coming closer. When they finally reached Discord, Rainbow Dash made more weird noises this time, they were quiet. Then, all the walkers looked up at Discord. What's going on? What's gotten into them? Discord thought in confusion. Suddenly, they all started growling and moaning at Discord. They were more aggressive than ever. "What do you want?" Screamed Discord to the walkers, and of course, they didn't respond.
