I hate water...
No pony should live even close to it the guard’s opinion. Ponies don’t swim he always told anyone who should just so happen to say they loved it in his presence. But now, now as he descended indefinitely into the dark, the water growing heavier around him and pulling him faster he felt those words couldn't be truer. The burning in his lungs flared as he tried to move his heavy wings and tired hooves in a last attempt to the reach the diminishing light. His armor digging into his body only pulling his faster, his helmet obscuring his vision and caused a burning within his neck.

So, the guard gave one last pull, the light coming into view one last time before the last of his breath bubbled up out of his mouth and escaping the dark. He thought he could feel his rear hooves reach the bottom but he didn't believe his own senses anymore and kept sinking.
This, he thought grimly before the darkness took him into it’s cold arms and lost feeling of his self, this is the end...
