Three years ago, after being rejected by a lot of women, Frank Archer was going to commit suicide on Valentine's Day. Before he was able to, he was given a second by a magical Princess Alicorn from an enchanted land where humans and ponies live together.

Present day, Frank has been avoiding Hearts and Hooves Day as it reminds him of his past and wants nothing to do with it. However, after a visit from Celestia, he's willing to give the holiday a try and find somepony that can accept him.

Little does he know, his chances of finding somepony would lead to a lot problems. Problems that will violate the Human/Equine Laws of Equestria and that can send the Humans back to Earth.
