Chapter 2: Eve of Judgement

It was perfect day in Ponyville as Twilight and her friends were enjoying their peaceful day. Discord had been reformed, the changelings had been banished, and all other previous issues had either solved themselves or just never appeared again. And now, with Twilight being a princess, things seemed like that would be forever in peace. “What could possibly go wrong?” they said aloud, drinking their hay-shakes and eating cupcakes at Sugercube Corner.

Suddenly, the sky started turning red and flashed with lighting. Then, there was bright flash, brighter than lighting. An ominous fog quickly rolled over Ponyville. Strange sounds like roaring and talking began to resonate outside. Twilight looked outside; hoping to see what was going on. As she peered through the window, a mixture of figures seemed to meander around outside.

Suddenly, a squad of cyborg soldiers burst through the door. “OH NO,” Pinkie Pie cried out, “WE DON’T HAVE ENOUGH CUPACKES FOR EVERYONE! NOW I HAVE TO GO BAKE SOME MORE!” She bounded off towards the kitchen. A few minutes later, a faint and muffled screaming could be heard from the basement near the kitchen.

“GOOD HEAVENS,” gasped Rarity after a few minutes of silence, “What are those hideous outfits you’re wearing?!?!” She hustled over to one of the soldiers and felt its uniform. “POLYESTER? Sweet Celestia, you couldn’t even buck for low quality leather. AND WHAT IS THIS?” She said, pointing at his boots. “Metal thigh-high boots with welded on knee-pads? How do you walk in these? And what’s with that silly light-up helmet?” The cyborg looked back at his peers, shrugging.

Rarity stepped back from the group. “This entire ensemble belongs in the trash.” she said as she reached into her purse, bringing out enough coupons for the squad. “Take these and you may peruse my shop tomorrow. Trust me darling, you’ll need the new clothes.” She said sharply, pushing them out the door. “Beauty will be enforced. Tomorrow.” The other five were in awe as Rarity swiftly removed the cyborgs for premise.

“Err, Rarity,” Twilight said, “I don’t think they were here for your fashion advice. Or anything peacefully for that matter.”

“Oh pish posh, Twilight. Whether they were here for cupcakes or here for fistihooves, fashion moderation and justice must be dispensed.”

Suddenly, there was a loud bang at the door. One of cyborgs flew through the door, riddled with holes. A tall, brooding, real leather clad figure stood in the doorway. He had a Galleria 1991 shotgun in one hand, a robotic cyborg arm for another; and to top it off, a pink glaring light where his left eye should be.

“Who are you?” asked Rainbow Dash?

The figure looked scanned across the room.

“Sgt. Rex Power Colt, now who the hell are you and why the hell are you colorful horses?”
