“This was the worst thing ever,” whined Rarity as she settled into the large soaking tub at the Ponyville Day Spa. “I’ve never felt so…icky, before.” She moaned, as Lotus began to detangle her mane. “Oh, my poor body.”
“Ze poor body? Zat mademoiselle es the least important. Vhat about your mane,” bemoaned Lotus.
“And ze tail,” sobbed Aloe.
“your hooves,”
“your horn.”
“your eyes.”
“your face.”
“And your makeup!,” they both sobbed, holding each other in equal parts horror and shock.
“But never mind zat. Ve have neva lost a client before, and ve shall not start vith our best von.” Promised Aloe, as she gently tapped Rarity’s hoof in comfort, causing Rarity to sigh in relaxation now that she was in safe hooves Then looking at her hoof, and the state of Rarity’s fur, Aloe quickly cleaned it off with a towel.
“Oh, thank you. I knew if there was anypony that could restore me to my former glory it was the two spa ponies.” Rarity practically sobbed in appreciation as she looked at the two sisters.
“Oh, ve vill, ve vill, jhust rest and let our hooves take care of everysthing.” Promised Lotus as she gathered a few vials from under a shelf marked “Extreme Cases”.
“Vhile ve are vorking, tell us vot happened to you. Et must hav been terrible!” Squeaked Aloe
“Oh it was, it was. It was possibly the worst thing to happen to me,” sobbed Rarity as the twin spa ponies began to scrub her dingy, tangled and sweat encrusted fur with heavy brushes and several vials of soap and perfumes.
Rarity then began to describe the horror, from Pinkie flinging them off the wagon, to Rainbow abandoning them, “must remember to get back at her for that,” she mumbled darkly.
“From there it was awful, we had to walk for hours, in the heat, while I, sweated!” All three mares shivered at that word. “It took all day to find the railroad, and another two days on that icky railroad cart, pushing up and down, up and down on that heavy handle, just to get to Dodge Junction. Then finally, another train ride which took another day to get here. And all that time, Pinkie, Would. Not. Stop. Talking! I mean, I love the darling filly, but if I don’t hear from her for at least a week, I’d be happy.”
Her explanation of the events had taken so long and had gone into so many details, that the two spa ponies had finished bathing her and were now combing her luxurious mane and tail.
Aloe paused as she gently pulled a brush through Rarity’s mane, “Zat sounds ‘orrible mademoiselle Rarity, I don’t zink I could survive that orror..” She gave Rarity a soft nuzzle to show that she was there to support her.
“Neizher could I,” sobbed Lotus, as she blinked back a tear.
“Yes, yes, it was a terribly horrible experience,” Nodded Rarity sagely, “It was an experience I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, much less myself.”
“But, I have von question. You are a unicorn, yes? Now Aloe and I might be zhe simple Earse Ponies, but zu are an unicorn. Vy did you simply not use your, Vot is it called? Blinking? Sinking? Dinking? Vinking? Yes, Vinking. Vy did you not simply Vink to zhis Dodge Junction. I know your magic specialty is ghems and fabulous dresses, vich I loved zee ensemble zu made for me and my sister, but can’t every unicorn vink? Isn’t et vone of ze most ba-sic spells a unicorn learns, in zee mahghic kindegraden?” Blinked Lotus, as she stared questionably at Rarity as she began to curl the mare’s mane.
“Zhat’s right. Even ze baby unicorns can vink.” Aloe paused and taped her hoof on the floor. “Shust last veek, zhat baby Pumpkin Cake vinked here. Oh, she vas so cute. We ver cleaning ze salon, it vas so slow zat day, suddenly she appead in zee spa, laughing an splashing in zhe bubbles. She vas so enchanting zhat ve gave her, her first hornicure. Et vas so precious,” sighed Aloe.
During their administration of beauty treatments, Rarity had been constantly squealing and moaning with pleasure, practically rocking in her chair as each rub and potion was placed on her body, but as they continued to talk about winking, she grew stiller and stiller, until only a random eye twitch showed she was even conscious. Then taking in a deep breath of air….

Sitting in the middle of Ponyville AppleClover Park (Named after Granny Smith’s grandmother who had donated the land to make the park.) several ponies sat around a large tree situated in the center of the park.
“Did anyone else hear a shrill, No! just now?” asked Twilight as she looked up from her book on Esoteric magic of Middle Age Equestria. She had decided earlier on a bit of “light” reading. She blinked at her friends to see if they had heard the noise.
AppleJack and Winona who had been playing together, turned their heads to the side to see if they could hear better. “Nope, sorry sugercube, ah can’t hear nothin. Come on Winona lets play some more fetch.”
Fluttershy looked up from the tea she was having with Angel. “Umm, no. Sorry Twilight. How about you Angel Bunny? Did you hear a shrill No” She watched as Angel with his eyes closed was holding his ears and bouncing up and down. “Silly bunny, I asked if you heard something, not if you knew dance.
“Can’t you see I have more important things to do, like nap, then listen for somepony yelling, What do I look like, some crazy caped crusader waiting to save somepony in danger. ” complained Rainbow, who had been trying to nap in the tree above Twilight. After her outburst she turned over and with a loud yawn, began once again to snore, loudly.
Pinky just shook her head. “Nope sorry I didn’t hear a thing. But hey, Twilight, want to try a chimicherrychunga? I just finished baking up my first batch,” asked Pinky, as she held out a platter of the steamy gooey dessert.

I don’t own MLPFIM, I’m just playing with them nicely and then will put them back gently.
I know Aloe and Lotus are supposed to have Eastern European accents, but while writing it, I realized it looked and sounded terrible. So now they have French accents, or my interpretation of French accents. Besides, where else was Fluttershy supposed to learn about French Haute couture?
