Everlost
Wild mental patient chase
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"So, which way did Sargast go again?" Twilight asked over Rainbow's loud laughing.
"He headed off into the Everfree!" Applejack said to the purple alicorn.
Rainbow collected herself again to say "Probably to get another piece of flooring from Deadriser's place." After her very insightful prediction she broke down laughing again.
"Well we had better get going if we are going to catch him." Twilight said, elbowing Rainbow in the side. Her horn then lit up and they disappeared in a flash along with a small *POP*.

I looked around, there were these weird menacing yellow eyes all around me. "Hello, are you spies? I do not take kindly to spies." I said to the nearest set of eyes, I was answered by a low growl. "Well you don't need to be that ang-" I was cut off by timber wolves jumping me from all sides. As the first one reached me I turned around and kicked it in the muzzle, flattening it's face. The wolves then backed off a little and seemed to be a little more cautious. I looked behind me to see three wolves jump at me together, trying to use their sheer numbers to take me down, to respond I casually stuck out a hoof and dark lightning started to jump off of it. I remembered what my old master once said; Never eat rotten tomatoes, it probably went more along the lines of you are much more powerful than me, so you don't need a wand to cast your dark magic but it really didn't matter as the lightning shot out of my hoof and fried the three timber wolves in an instant. I kept doing this but I was soon overwhelmed and had to retreat to a little cabin thing. "LET ME IN THE SPIES ARE TRYING TO KILL ME!" I yelled pounding on the door. There was a noise inside and the door opened soon after, letting me rush in.
"Who are you, how do you do?" I looked up and saw the speaker, it was a zebra with a strange looking sun on her flank.
"WOW! A LION!" I yelled, jumping up. "I SAW YOU ON THE ANIMAL CRACKERS BOX!"
"What are these animal crackers you speak of? Are they a snack that you love?" The zebra said, realizing that this pony was not right in the head.
"Hey wait a minute, I dare you to say orange!" I said to the zebra in a low voice.
"Why would you want me to say orange? I think it is quite..." The zebra's eyes shrunk until they were but pinpricks, her mouth hung open, then it closed and she face-hoofed. She looked like she was about to slap me across the face, but a loud popping noise made her stop.

Twilight was a little bit groggy after this spell, it had used up her magic more than she thought it would. "Zecora, have you seen a green and brown pegasus fly by?" She asked, before opening up her eyes to see said nutty stallion smirking at the zebra. "Sargast!" He looked over at her and his expression went from amused to frustrated in the blink of an eye.
"How do you know my name?" He said a little too gruffly, he sounded like a commander from the royal guard. Twilight's breath caught in her throat as she saw him completely, she had never gotten a good look at the stallion ever since the fight with Deadriser, he had always been facing away from her or had been moving too fast to get a clear image. Now she saw him, he looked very depressed, his eyes were a deep, sad blue. His coat had darkened a little and he seemed to have grown wrinkles.
"Sargast, you don't remember me?" Twilight said, still a little surprised at how Sargast had changed.
"No, and I don't think I would care to if I could." He said before walking over to the door and opening it up, to reveal a group of very pissed off timber wolves, he slammed the door again. "Anypony else want to deal with the puppy dogs?" He asked the group, they all shook their heads. "Fine, suit yourselves." He then opened up the door again and walked out, shortly after however there were sounds of branches breaking and of dogs yelping in pain. Rainbowdash rushed to the door to try and chase Sargast, but by the time she had gotten there he had already dispatched the wolves and was flying in the general direction of the Griffon Empire, Rainbow tried to give chase but once again couldn't keep up.
"How did he get rid of those wolves so quickly?" Luna wondered out loud.
"I think his necromancer powers are growing, or returning to him. And he seems to be heading off in random directions each time we find him, so we better get some help before he ends up somewhere where he could do a lot of damage." Twilight answered her.
"You mean like the Griffon Empire?" Rainbow said, flying back to the group.
"He isn't, is he?" Luna was now very worried, if Sargast ended up there he could upset the entire pony-griffon peace and start a new war. Rainbow nodded to confirm what she just said. "We need to get my sister's help, and inform the griffons that they may have a mental necromancer heading their way." Luna said to nopony in particular, then her horn lit up and the group was sent back to Canterlot, leaving a very pissed off zebra in her house to figure out a way to get around rhyming something with orange.

I had no idea where I was going, and I didn't care, anything to get me away from that pesky group of ponies. "They were trying to lock you up! I know they were dumbass, you think i'm stupid or something? Well smartass, we couldn't call each other stupid, because we are all the same pony!" Sargast's three different personalities were arguing again, and it was giving him a headache. "Can it just be that only one of us talks, were getting a headache. NO! NO!" Sargast winced as his rational self was shot down by his two other, crazier personalities. The one that was most prominent was his psychopathic murderer self, it was taking the roll of leader in his mind, but it never made good decisions and was way too impulsive. The next one up was his over analyzing self, this came around when he grew worried that he would make too many mistakes or when he feared that he would mess up too much. This part of him would take a situation and blow it way out of proportion by thinking of every little thing that could wrong in a plan or confrontation, and would worry himself until he would start to cut himself off and stay inside of his house or somewhere he felt safe, he would make sure nothing was dangerous and nothing could go wrong, only then would he go back to normal. And the part of him that had the least say at this point was his rational self, the part of him that would never do anything too impulsively, and would never fret over little things. This part of him would be reasonable but protective, it was always in his nature to protect the ones he cared about, whether it be friends, family or even the innocent, he would keep them safe and avenge them when it came to that. The only thing that stayed with him throughout all of his different personalities was how he would hold a grudge, unless the pony apologized to him he would seek out revenge and would not back down, he would hold anything against anypony until a sorry was said. But when these different personalities argued, or disagreed with each other as they were doing now, I will go nuts as I am now, and start to lose memories of things I cared about, start to lose a sense of humanity. Eventually, if unsolved, an argument between my different personalities would kill me on the inside, making me nothing more than an empty shell. By then, the effects of this inner turmoil would be irreversible, and by then, I would be dead.
