A letter from celestia what could she want at this hour? she used her magic to un-roll the piece of parchment and as she squinted to get a better look she began to read to her self "Dearest Princess Sparkle I fear to be the bringer of bad news but a Tragedy has happened at the canterlot grounds a thief known by the name Avri Kadavri has assaulted princess Luna and stolen her crown this piece of jewelry is worth countless bits and i know in the past if have been known to rely on you and i hope once more you can help me in my time of need . at your earliest convience please join me at canterlot castle. Reply to me as soon as you can -Princess Celestia Twilight thought to herself; who would steal Luna's crown there has to be a reason for this not to mention the things this thief must of gone through just to get to the grounds who is this Avri? what does she want? she used her horn to grab a pice of parchment for the reply. After a desperate battle to wake up spike she finally got him to send the letter to celestia. Dear Celestia I will gather my things in the morning and make my way to canterlot I am very intrested in this Thief and i would very much like to help in search of Princess Luna's crown your faithful comrade - Princess Sparkle Chapter 1 pt.2 Twilight woke up and knew what she had to do she used her wings to glide down the staircase in her home faster. Before she went to bed she made a list of the things she needed to take. "Spike!" she called to her assisstant. Twilight heared a flop upstairs and smirked and began to start on packing. Spike the dragon twilights most faithful of friends stomped down the stairs Twilight called out to him "Spike I have a meeting in canterlot watch the library while im gone and no funny buissness" Spike did a sloppy salute. Twilight used her magic to grab her dress though she wasn't one for formal attire she new she had to look her best she slipped through the dress and made sure to grab her crown on the way out placing it on her head. "Be good spike" Twilight called out to him as she made her way to the door " Spike replied alright alright...." and she shut the door behind her. Celestia sat on blanket with luna and they discussed what had happened the night before Luna looked up at her older sister. "Tia are you sure Twilight will be up to this? Avri Kadavri Is one of the most notorious thieves in Equestria not to mention how dangerous she is you know what shes capable of." Luna glared at her older sister. Luna knew things about her sister that even she didnt know and thats what worried celestia the most Meanwhile Twilight arrived in canterlot on one of the royal chariots used by Luna and Celestia the people bowed to twilight welcoming the princess she asked her guards to go away asking she wished for some privacy as she walked through the colorful streets of canterlot. the people looked over at her and smiled and nooded she even came across Fancy Pants payed him a polite hello as she trotted down the street towards the castle she noticed something a gathering of ponies she tilted her head with confusion. She tapped the shoulder of a stallion he jerked his head in shock "P-princess Sparkle!' he sputtered Twilight replied to the stallion "please just call me twilight besides I only wish to know what going on here?" " oh its the Flim Flam brothers!" Twilights eyes widened with shock "Flim and Flam! why are they here!" Twilights look of curiousity swiftly turned into anger and she moved through the crowed. She used her wings to jump up on the stage Flim and Flam looked over in astonishment Flim and Flam did a bow Flim spoke first "Hello princess sparkle what brings you to our fine attraction " I wish to know what your trying to scam people with this time cider or just some other lame excuse?" Then Flam stepped up " no... we have something to show to these kind ponies something new to this land a marvel of wonder!" "and just for the low price of! *cough* 20 bits *cough*" Twilight walked up to them and gave them a deep glare "let me see this... Wonder" "Right this way Princess!" Twilight followed the brothers into the tent along with several other ponies who payed. She looked around it was just another one of those travling emporiums with those fake mythos and demons then the trio and the crowed reached the back Flim stepped up onto a small stage and cleared his throat "Fillies and Gentlecoats! the most wonderous item to ever grace Equestria.... if give you.... the Wonder Rock!" and with a flash Flam removed the cloth covering the item. The ponies were astonished at what they saw a pure white rock that glowed and floated in the air the stone almost looked like it was chipped off of a bigger part but Twilight knew something was off and she couldn't but her hoof on it "Fine you two your free for now but i got my eye on you..." Flim and Flam stared back at Twilight and did a polite bow "Farewell twilight sparkle..." As Twilight put her back to the brothers and walked out she could of sworn she saw them smirk. She shook off the feeling and looked up to the looming canterlot castle. she took a breath and moved on to the meeting. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter Two: The Heist of The Century //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter Two: The Heist of The Century Chapter Two: The Heist of The Century Twilight looked up to the sky noticing that the night was looming she hurried along as fast as she could to the castle making sure not to hit anyone on her way to the castle then a booming voice was heard "PRINCESS SPARKLE APPROACHES LOWER THE DRAW BRIDGE!" Twilight watched as the huge wooden draw bridge of the castle lowered with its chains clanking and creaking ever so slightly and finally with a thud it hit the edge of the moat and then the voice spoke once more "Welcome Princess enjoy your stay at the castle!" Twilight enjoyed the small courteseies that she got from princess status but she still missed the days when she was just a normal mare and not a high mighty allicorn. as she got lost in her train of thought she didn't realise she was almost the the door of the castle. Unbeknownst to her the Princess Celestia her Teacher and Friend was right infront of her. almost walking into her she looked up with suprisement "oh princess Celestia im so sorry i uh uh didn't see you there" Twilight also did a slight bow "now now twilight there is no need for the formalities its not like anyone is watching us" Celestia stiffed a little laugh and returned her focus to twilight "oh well okay" Twilight cleared her throat " So this thief shall we discuss inside?" "the sounds great ill have some tea brought in aswell" They both nodded and entered the castle together. all the while Luna Flew out from the castle and raised her great white moon. Twilight looked and smiled. they walked along the corridor leading to the canterlot castle meeting room. twilight has never been to this room before it was very old looking almost looking older then the castle itself. The room was very cylindrical with a round table in the middle with a map of equestria twilight thought that this might of been used as a war room. "I've never been in this room before..." "this is the catnerlot meeting room this room was used as a war room when me and my sister fought" and as if a coinsidence Princess luna walked in "What about me she asked with a deeper tone" "Nothing dear sister please come join us around the table" For a short while the three sat in silence then celestia began to speak "Princess sparkle we have asked you to join us for this meeting on the topic of the the theft of Princess Luna's crown" Luna and Twilight looked at Celestia with full attention Twilight spoke next "Do you know anything about this thief Avri Kadavri was it?" Luna then looked over at celestia and she spoke "She has commited several Thefts in the past Decades stealing some of Equestrias greatest treasures" Twilight replied "but what items has she stolen in the past?" Celestia looked at luna then to twilight "mostly artifacts the older the better" The group seemed to think harder and harder untill luna broke the silence "I think i have a plan to catch this thief" Luna said looking at both of them Celestia returned a glance at luna "atleast we have a place to start" Luna began to explain the plan "this thief of ours likes to take rare items perhaps if we wait at a museum with a fake item we can lure the thief to us!" Twilight looked at both of them " that could actually work!" The three bagan to discuss plans for the coming week. Chapter 2 pt.2 Spike stretched as he rose from a restful sleep he then added a on a deep yawn he looked out the window watching as the rays of celestias sun fell thorugh. Spike heard a knock at the door as he rubbed the muck out of his eyes "who could that be at this time?" he spoke to himself he walked down the stairs still half asleep he walked through the hall to the front door of the library he turned the knob on the door and slowely opened the door. "hello?" spike spoke softly He looked through the door and to his suprise it was Fluttershy Fluttershy looked at him and spoke with her sweet soft voice "oh um hey spike i was just wondering if twilight was home" Spike looked at her "She left for canterlot this morning for a meeting something about a thief or something like that" Fluttershy looked dissapointed that her friend was not home "oh well do you know when she will be back theres something weird at my cottage im not sure what it is" Spike looked at her confused "weird how?" he replied "uh well if you want to come see it you can come with me" Spike looked back into the library realizing he had not done his chores "uh fine ill come ill do my chores later" Fluttershy gave a smile and they began the trek to fluttershys cottage Canterlot two day's later They had their plan lure the thief to the museum, capture her, done but Twilight had a feeling that something was wrong she couldn't put her hoof on it though. As luna prepared  to raise the moon twilight got in place waiting for the thief she looked through windows to the roof watching as the sky grew darker. they had a plan in place a fake artifact crafted by pure magic it looked so real it almost fooled twilight. she looked up once more and noticed that the sky was pure dark Twilight talked to herself to calm down "your gonna be okay your gonna be okay no need to worry" She became paranoid after a while questioning every sound that was heard untill she noticed a shadow  of what appeared to be a mare "got you now" Twilight whispered to herself and then the mare stepped into the light her mane was pure gold her fur was white, whiter then rarity's almost  she had red eyes with some purple her eyes were so exotic. Twilight hid more as the mare began to talk "This is to easy..." The mare looked around she appeared to suspect that this was a trap Twilight glanced back up and noticed that the mare was gone she then felt something tug at her neck and she was yanked back "my word princess sparkle out so late are we?" The guards made their rounds the grass was wet with the dew that would appear when celestia raised the sun. "Princess..." a hushed voice whispered under her breath Luna cocked her head at the startling voice and replied "Hello? who is there reveal yourself!" her horn glowed with excitement as she look around franticly "Princess.." the voice spoke to her once more in a more loud tone. Luna turned her head once more and found a hoof coming down on her and gasped. she blacked out. for a few minutes she only saw darkness she was not worried for this was her element. she awoke sweating in panting she moved her eyes around franticly wondering to her self what the heck happened! then her gaze locked at celestia who looked at her with worry along with the guard's that surrounded her. Luna stuggled up to the ground with a dizzy gaze her eyes almost resembling those of the iconic ditzy doo and then with almost a shout the a guard sputtered in worry "Oh no! Celestia the crown is missing!" Luna tapped her head in a frantic worry messing up her hair that so closely resembled the night. as she tossed her hair about repeating the word "No no no!" a black star made of what appeared to be sparkling dust glided down out of her hair and as it landed to the ground the initals A.K appeared on the star and glowed intensly. Celestia's gaze turned from her sister to the star her gaze seemed to thicken and then celestia broke the silence  she spoke "Avri...." Celestia looked back at her sister and helped her off the ground "Come sister"   The duo went inside the castle Celestia held a foreleg over luna trying to comfort her then Luna spoke "Tia? what happened?" she hanged her head "Do not fret dear sister celestia's maternal voice spoke to her softly" " But Tia my crown its missing..." "Lulu ill do what i can ill try my best to get your crown back from that thief." They then broke into a hug Celestia looked into her eyes "Pherhaps our newest princess can help us find it..."
