Apple Bucker and Book Worm: An AppleSparkle Romance
"Apple Jack, stop! We're going to get caught!" Apple Jack sighed, as much as she loved Twilight, she wished she'd stop being worried about every little thing.
"Twi, I've told ya a thousand times, Granny Smith, Big Mac and Apple Bloom have gone ta Manehatten for Aunt and Uncle Orange's social. So, there ain't nopony here ta catch us!" Twilight looked around nervously; she knew Apple Jack was right, but she was still scared of getting caught. Though the majority of Ponyville was okay with same-sex couples, Apple Jack's family was...a little behind in times. Each to their varying degrees; Big Mac is okay with certain things, but he'd rather it be kept behind closed doors and outside his family. Granny Smith was dead-set against it, but, she has the decency to hold back the majority of her comments. And, Apple Bloom, being so young, only says what she does because she's trying to gain her families approval. But, both Twilight and Apple Jack felt she really doesn't care, and might be a little curious herself.
"I know, AJ, I know. But, aren't you just a little nervous?" Apple Jack smiled and ran her fingertips over Twilight's cheek, though her always being worried was highly annoying, she still couldn't help but think it was cute, sometimes.
"Well, I ain't gonna lie t'ya; I do worried, sometimes. But, I know that as long as I'm happy and I'm not hurting nopony, then I really have nothing to worry about." Twilight nodded and took Apple Jack's hand,
"Yes, that's true. But, I just worry about what your family would do." Apple Jack smiled slightly,
"Well, the one who would be the most upset is Granny Smith. But, I'm sure Big Mac would be okay after a few days. And, Apple Bloom would most likely be okay." Twilight nodded and kissed Apple Jack's cheek, knowing she was right.
"Okay, I'll try and calm down a little, for you." Apple Jack nodded and placed her hands on Twilight's hips,
"Good. I always tell ya you sweat the small stuff, don't I?" Twilight nodded,
"Yes, Dear. You do."
Twilight was going to say something else, but Apple Jack shoved her into the wall and locked her into a long, passionate kiss. Twilight gasped, her eyes widened. Yes, she had read plenty of books on dating and relationships, but nothing could have ever summed up the feeling going through her right now. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around Apple Jack's neck, secretly dreading when the kiss would have to be broken off. (They were SUPPOSED to be picking apples today, to make up for time lost in Granny Smith and Big Mac's absents.) Apple Jack slid her hands down Twilight's sides, over her butt. Twilight gasped and blushed,
"AJ..." Apple Jack smiled,
"What? You KNOW it's nice." Twilight blushed more and dropped her gaze; maybe Apple Jack knew this, maybe she didn't, but, Twilight hadn't really had a special somepony before; Apple Jack was the first.
Apple Jack tilted Twilight's face towards her, "What's wrong, Sugar Cube?" Twilight shook her head and looked away again,
"N-nothing..." Apple Jack sighed and pulled Twilight into her arms,
"It's something, Twi. You never go silent." Twilight laughed,
"Okay, well, I've never HAD a special somepony. You're my first." Apple Jack blinked, surprised.
"R-really? How could anypony NOT like you?" Twilight blushed and tucked her hair behind her ear,
"Well, I never really asked...I was too busy with my books." Apple Jack took off her hat, rolled it up, and smacked Twilight with it,
"Y'know that's how relationships work, right?" Twilight laughed and nodded. Apple Jack went to put her hat pack on, but Twilight grabbed it and ran out of the barn,
"Catch me if you can!!" Apple Jack laughed and picked up her lasso,
"Oh, it's ON! You can bet your Canterlot-bred behind I'm gonna get'cha!"
Apple Jack had to give Twilight credit for one thing, for a shut-in, princess-pet, book-worm, she could run. Twilight jumped the fence and tore down the road, knowing that if she made it to Sugar-Cube corner, she would have officially beaten Apple Jack; something only Rainbow Dash could do. Apple Jack stopped to catch her breath,
"You're cheatin'! You were sitting on my legs! You KNOW they're asleep!" Twilight turned and called back,
"You're just making excuses because you can't face the fact I'M going to beat you!!" Then, she sped off again. Apple Jack chuckled and whistled, her dog, Winona came running.
"C'mon, Winona!" Apple Jack sped off, her dog following close behind. Apple Jack knew that if she got close enough, she could EASILY rope Twilight. But, CATCHING UP was going to be hard. Within a few minutes, Apple Jack was close enough, but Twilight, through some sort of power could always put a little more spring in her step and speed off again; Apple Jack was determined to catch her this time.
"C'mon, Apple Jack! TRY and catch me!" Apple Jack laughed,
"Sure thing!" She tried to get her, but, just as she predicted, Twilight sped off, just out of reach. She smiled, "Winona; put 'em up!" Winona sped off and circled around, running in front of Twilight, slowing her down.
"Hey! Go on! Shoo!" Just as Apple Jack had hoped, it slowed Twilight down and she once again got her lasso out,
"GOT'CHA!" Twilight spun,
"Wha-!" She went down like a load of bricks. Apple Jack laughed,
"NEVER mess with THIS cow-girl! Yee-Haw!" She grabbed her hat and put it on. She thought for a moment, about tying Twilight up and leaving her there, but, she knew she;d never forgive her for it. Twilight struggled to her feet,
"Okay, you've got your hat back. Now, please untie me...you have no clue how uncomfortable this is..." Apple Jack rolled her eyes; she knew Twilight took that tone and mocked tears to make her feel bad. But, she knew that Celestia was ALWAYS watching and seemed to ALWAYS give Twilight a hard time for EVER having FUN.
She loosened the rope and Twilight slid out of it,
"You okay?" Twilight nodded, rubbing her arms,
"Yeah...I'm okay." Apple Jack smiled and wiped the dirt off her girlfriend's face,
"C'mon, Sugar Cube. You KNOW part of you enjoyed that." Twilight blushed,
"I...well....can we talk about this later?" Apple Jack sighed, only when she was close to de-coding her, did Twilight turn into FlutterShy.
"Fine. Wanna go get a shake?" Twilight nodded,
"Sure!" Apple Jack took her hand, and the two walked to Sugar-Cube Corner. Pinkie was going to get a laugh out of this story.
